Oliver did a great job when a routine bit of maintenance turned into a full boiler replacement. Communication was good and clear throughout the process and the new system was installed within a few days so we weren’t left without heating for long!

Two lads came owt to fix a gas leak. They were well informed, friendly and kept me up to date throughout the whole visit, gas was back on in a few hours which was brilliant as having no heating or hot water with a 14 month was difficult. Helped that they were kind and wasn't annoyed when that 14 month old kept walking in to see them whilst they worked. Reasonable price for the work undertook, I was definitely expecting to pay more so I was pleasantly surprised by the cost. 100% would recommend this business, their number will be kept for any future work if I ever need it.

Exceptional service! I needed a plumber quickly and found Ryan online. He fitted me in quickly and did everything he could do meet my needs as quickly and as coat effectively as possible. It was amazing to receive such a high level or service as a new customer of theirs. I needed additional help after they had completed the work and Ryan was always extremely quick to reply and sort out our issue. Without hesitation I will be using every time in the future.

I initially booked him to carry out a boiler service, during which he identified a gas leak from my existing hob. He dealt with the situation extremely professionally and took the time to help me work out the best replacement option for the space, which I really appreciated. He then came back to fit the new hob, and again the workmanship was excellent. Communication throughout was great, everything was clearly explained, and the whole job was handled efficiently and professionally from start to finish. It’s difficult to find a genuinely good, trustworthy tradesman, so I think it’s worth recommending one when you do. This company has been brilliant! I had arranged for a electrician to work on Thursday and DC heating to come Friday only for the electrician to not return the keys! I truly thought I would have to wait 2 weeks before the next chance but the technician was able to return the same day and complete the work despite the inconvenience and error caused by another party! Even though my kitchen is in a very old state they managed to source what was needed and got me back up and running thankfully!! COMPLETE SHOWER ROOM REPLACEMENT After a disastrous water leak my shower room was wrecked. DC Heating (recommended by a neighbor) helped from the start whilst going through the laborious frustrating insurance claim process. Their work throughout was top quality. Discussing all relevant issues with me and always “cleaning as they go”. The key to a successful project is both the skills of the men working and appropriate timing of all trades involved. This was managed exceptionally well with no waiting for deliveries or the electrician, joiner or tiler to turn up. The work was completed on time and to the highest quality. I would have no problem in recommending them to anyone requiring a new bathroom or shower room. The photos speak for themselves.

DC plumbing came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. Diagnosed the problem that other plumbers just patched over for years, and within a week of enquiry had provided a reasonable quote and fixed it, including external pipe-work that was handled very efficiently. They are 100% professional, knowledgeable, courteous and leave the work space clean and tidy. They are full project managers for bathroom fittings, they work with an incredible set of independent trades people who all have top notch quality skills. The scheduling of each part of the work is so smooth you feel like you’re in capable hands! I can’t recommend them highly enough and have used them to do a number of jobs for us over the years, and will continue to do so!

Highly recommend! They installed our under-sink Frizzlife water filter system and did a fantastic job. They also gave us some great advice regarding our stop tap, which needs replacing. They advised us to get in touch with Yorkshire Water first to make the external stop tap. Once that's sorted, we will definitely be calling them back to finish the stop tap job. Very neat, professional, and cleaned up perfectly after themselves!

Highly recommended team. Our old boiler was over 19 years old and we chose the summer to replace it rather than it let us down in a cold weather month. We had other plumbers round for quotes who promised to get back to us, but none did. DC Heating were recommended by our neighbours, so we asked Glyn to quote and he did. We requested a conversion from conventional system to a system boiler and also replaced the old undersized hot water cylinder. This also eliminated the aging storage tanks in the loft as well as removing the pumps from the showers. A much simpler hot water system that had lots of annoying quirks, these have all been removed. There were radiators in the hallway that remained cold these don’t following a though clean, the winter should now hold no fear. It was a significant amount of work but still completed within 2 days, the team led by Ryan worked extremely hard. A high-quality job from a class team. Update. Several years on the team have just done the annual service check on the boiler which is now 5 years old. No issues found. A valve has had to be replaced on an existing radiator, no dramas - as usual an efficient job. Highly recommended.

Been using these plumbers for quite a few years now. They are reliable and start work within a day or two after you contact them. Ryan has done 2 jobs recently and let me know what time he would be arriving on both occasions. A well-run business with a good standard of work👍

After returning from a holiday we found that our boiler was not working, so we contacted several companies to find an emergency gas engineer. Everyone we spoke to sounded knowledgeable and professional and offered emergency service with different pricing. Ryan from DC offered the most competitive price, so we decided to go ahead with him. Ryan explained on the phone that he charges by the hour rather than a call-out fee and that his hourly rate was £75. He also mentioned that he had an idea about the issue and would bring a part that might be needed to fix it. He explained politely that if the part was compatible he could solve the problem immediately, otherwise he might need to return. This was similar to the advice given by the other engineers we had contacted. Ryan arrived and resolved the problem very quickly (around five minutes). He was friendly and professional during the visit and even slowed down his speech to help me understand, as English is not my first language. Up to that point the experience was very positive. However, when I paid by card the total came to £234.72, which was much higher than expected. When we later requested a receipt, the invoice showed two hours of labour and £54.72 for a part. Ryan explained that the additional time was related to collecting the part. Because this had not been explained to us beforehand, we felt confused about the billing. We live in Sheffield and collecting a part from any merchant would not take that much time. After checking online we also found that the same part appeared to be available from retailers at a significantly lower price. We asked for the receipt of the part which was refused based on company procedures. When we raised our concerns, Ryan offered to provide a free service. Then we asked for a refund, he said he will refund £75. As the additional labour had been charged at £75 + VAT, which is 90, we asked whether the refund would reflect the full amount paid. The conversation unfortunately became uncomfortable and the communication felt dismissive. Ryan clearly has the technical ability to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. However, in our experience the pricing transparency and the handling of the billing concern were disappointing. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that future customers confirm in advance how labour time and parts will be charged and documented.

Replaced broken tap in kitchen. What should have been an easy job was made much more difficult by a small kitchen with really tight fittings. The team problem solved it and got it done with a bit of inguinity and a multi-tool!

Ongoing problem with hot water cutting out to tepid mid shower or bath. Really frustrating. Boiler checked by a number of plumbers and told nothing wrong with it?? Basically couldnt find the fault. After looking at my boiler and figuring out what was wrong he went above and beyond by determining that the boiler was likely in warranty. He rang the boiler company to confirm himself and set up for them to come and sort. It would have been very easy for him to simply charge me to replace the boiler but instead found a way that wouldn’t cost me. As a first time single homeowner with not much experience in these types of thing, this is the kind of thing I appreciate so much in a tradesman as it would be very easy to take advantage. Have used DCheating for all our plumbing needs during the last 4-5years, They have installed us two new bathrooms, a new boiler and numerous new radiators during this time period. They are always reliable, prompt and professional. Recently Rueben came and did a boiler service for us, he also capped off some obsolete water pipes in our cellar and then took the time to rebalance all 15 radiators in our house. I'm really glad I came across this company online when looking for help with a boiler issue. From the first phone call it was clear that Ryan had a lot of experience with boilers and knew what he was talking about. Communications were always prompt and so was the work that he carried out. No complaints from my end. I know who to go to for boiler issues in Sheffield from now on.

Brilliant, from the first visit to the completed bathroom, Glyn, Ruben and Ollie, and all the trades did a wonderful job! It was not a simple fit but nothing was too much trouble, we were asked all through exactly how we needed things and if they were right. We cannot praise them enough for their skills, attitude and punctuality. They are a great team and we will absolutely recommend them.

We were unlucky enough to inherit a gas leak in our new home. The lucky bit, however, was that we quickly had someone round to take a look. They quickly found the problem, made it safe, and then returned a few days later to re-pipe. They were friendly, extremely efficient, and did a perfect job.

Can't fault them on all levels, they have done a couple of jobs for me, excellent communication and turn up when they say they will, reasonable prices too 😊

Second time I've used these guys and they've always done top notch work. We had a new boiler installed and relocated and it all looks and works brilliantly. Had a new boiler fitted by DC Heating, the 2 man team of Ryan and Oli arrived promptly (boiler and fittings also arrived on time) and did a fantastic job. They worked efficiently and cleanly, explaining every step to us, and worked with our needs (including home office work). All waste was removed same day, and they explained operation of the new system (not complicated). Would highly recommend their services from competitive quote, through scheduling, installation and we are very happy with results.

Unprofessional company, avoid a headache. They came out to change the main water inlet tap and radiator regulators. Shower is now making loud noises which it wasn’t before. Complained and they have ignored my messages.

Didn’t show up and then didn’t respond to message.

Came out to have a look at the boiler, it was losing pressure regularly, he did what he needed to do and told me that the likelihood was that there was a leak in the pipe work. Apparently the expansion vessel was in good working order and the boiler itself looked ok. Paid £95 for the luxury, even posted a good review. Two months later same problem still apparent, I called out another plumber. He took one look, tested the expansion vessel that had apparently been tested by DC heating and plumbing, and said that the vessel needed re-inflating. He re-inflated it for half the money and so far so good. Thanks for nothing DC Heating/plumbing...feel conned.

I had a new combi boiler installed. Removal of old boiler, copper water tank and water tank in loft. This was done in two days with a minimum of disruption. The guys working here were polite and friendly. They took away all reuse.

No good the only want is change the boiler without do proper check also charge me 80£ for nothing

I can thoroughly recommend DC Heating and Plumbing, this is the second time we have used their services. We had discovered a leak from the bath drain, soaking the floor. Glyn came out very quickly and sorted the problem. As always, DC plumbing and heating were punctual, clean and very knowledgeable.

Amazing bathroom renovation, the team was freidnly introduced them selves and kept me upto date with everything! The only small issue was the start date (something went wrong with booking and it was two weeks earlier then expected!) Other than this would 100% recommend!!

I had an issue with my boiler. It was showing a fault code and was locking out. I spoke to Ryan, who was recommended to me by a friend. He organised a visit at short notice, due to me having no heating and hot water which I really appreciated. He quickly identified the fault and explained to me the damage to parts of the boiler which he explained in detail to me. He then gave me the option to repair the damaged parts or to replace the boiler which he priced separately to show me the difference in price. I opted to have the boiler replaced for piece of mind, but before telling Ryan this I received two more quotes to see if I could save any money. DC Heatings price was the cheapest of the three quotes. Once I had confirmed this with Ryan, the job was booked in the following week and the job was done to a very high standard and the men were very professional in their work. I’d like to thank Ryan for his brilliant service and I would recommend to anyone!

Glyn and his team have done a couple of jobs for us around our heating and leaks. They have done a great job while make sure we didn’t go over into the next hours work

very poor experience. We had no heating for nearly a week. 5 visits to actually fix. Incompetent at best. I'm not convinced some parts needed replacing as one error code only appeared after they had taken a look. Also i found one part £150 cheaper on amazon. I would not recommend

Used DC Plumbing to replace faulty cisterns in 3 toilets at our property as well as installing a new shower in an en-suite and replacing a shower valve in our bathroom. All work was carried out efficiently and to an excellent standard. All engineers were friendly , knowledgeable and completed work to a high standard. We had a major central heating upgrade carried out by Ryan and his team. This consisted of a new boiler, hot water cylinder, control system, 11 new radiators and a complete repiping of our detached property. The installation was quite complex but they carried out a superb job and took time to ensure everything was done carefully and thoroughly. They were particularly good at ensuring our carpets and furniture were not damaged. We are delighted with the job and for once we are warm in our house with plenty of piping hot water despite subzero temperatures outside. We would strongly recommend them. Very helpful plumber with very good advice

I was having problems with my radiators not getting hot and Ryan and Oliver did a great job of sorting out the poor work that had previously been carried out in my home. They were polite, respectful and left my home as they found it. Ryan’s high level knowledge of radiator systems is mind boggling. I would highly recommend them and already have done.

Our second annual routine boiler service with Ryan was as good as the last, so thought I’d recognise it by leaving a review. In both instances, Ryan was polite, on time and made sure he left the boiler and cylinder in a tidy shape upon completion. A pleasure to deal with all round at a reasonable price. After having several other Heating companies round & getting fobbed off, we contacted DC Heating and they have been brilliant. They are a family run business. We had to have a new boiler, new radiators & a total re-pipe of the house. They came when they said, worked from 8:00 am until late afternoon & we are now nice & toastie. Always helpful, knowledgeable, reasonably priced. Good at problem solving is the issue is a bit none standard. Only downside is the lead time for big jobs at the moment but that's probably an issue with all plumbers. For routine work and emergencies they always seem to try and get in quickly.

Arrived when they said they would (this includes for when I've had quotes from them too), went straight to work with no dordling and were pleasant and polite. This was for a boiler replacement and the new one is now working perfectly, they were reassuring upon installation that if there were any issues to call up right away. The price is reasonable when you consider what you'd pay if you had to pay for repairs/alterations for a bodged installation. Also tidied up after themselves and were considerate of items.

Can't thank these guys enough. From the first visit to quote from Glyn with some helpful advice too, to the final completion by the fitting team. We have had a complete bathroom refit, removing bath and having a walk in shower cubicle instead, all new bathroom fittings, tiling, extractor fan, spot lights, flooring, ceiling, the lot. The whole team were pleasant, friendly, cheerful and respectful of our home. One even fixed our sticking front door as he was going in and out with parts for the bathroom. We also asked for a new radiator in our downstairs toilet as an addition to the bathroom job which they happily did for us. We were promised a 2 week timescale,so we timed our bathroom refurb to start while we were away on a week's holiday, to save living through the disruption. During that week, different trades came and went daily while our bathroom was fully gutted, re-plastered, a new bath and sink fitted. Wk 2 was tiles, flooring and new toilet. We are so pleased with the level of care for detail, general tidyness and punctuality of all the trades that DC organised to fit our bathroom. Due to Covid, our Towel radiator was delayed from the suppliers by 2 months (not a fault of DC, I ordered it myself), everything else was completed within the 2 weeks as promised, it was no trouble for DC to come back and fit it to fully complete a very very good job from start to finish, our bathroom looks amazing, Thanks guys.

We had Ryan come & fit a new boiler whilst moving it up into our loft at the same time. It looked like a big job to me but have to say we found the whole service & experience was excellent. Ryan was prompt & very professional. Respectful of our home, cleaning & tidying up as he worked. He was very knowledgeable of the product and showed us all we needed to know for our boiler to run at its most efficient. Just had Ryan and the team over for the week to fit a new boiler, complete central heating pipework and radiators. Couldn’t be happier with the service we have received. They were attentive, honest and friendly throughout. Tried to make sure they were as tidy as possible and left each day with the house in a liveable state for our family. Explained everything very clearly to us as they were going along and went the extra mile to make sure that our flooring remained undamaged. Ryan did a great job servicing my boiler, he talked through the work required and completed the service in under an hour. He also checked a vertical radiator which has not been working and recommended new valves to be fitted. I would highly recommend DC Plumbing and will be using them again in the future.

Glynn and his guys were absolutely excellent. Cannot reccomend them enough. Came on time on the date promised. I have a medium sized period property and they had to install 8 vintage style radiators plus smaller bits. Kept in touch for regular updates beforehand. Have used DC heating for a couple of years now - had an unexpected leak that required me to shut off the heating. They came round as quick as they could and did a solid job as always - finding and repairing the leak in just under 3 hours (and requiring only two holes in the ceiling), including draining the whole system, filling it back up, checking the heating was working ok and that the repair held up before heading off. Ryan put down plenty of sheets to protect the floor and furniture and explained what he found in a clear way. He has also arranged for an allied tradesperson to come out and quote for repairing the holes he had to make to access the leak.

Great, friendly service and excellent follow up advice. Replaced my old boiler and flushed out the entire system which was a mess. Explained everything as they went along.

The work was of very high standard and exactly as requested within the time frame agreed. I cannot comment highly enough about the whole process from start to finish. Ive worked with many plumber over the years as a maintenance man in a hotel but i had to call them to fix my boiler and I found them to be amongst the very best. I would not think twice about using them again

I rang them up when our boiler wasn't working. He asked me to send some photos and then advised me how to get it started over the phone. Didn't cost a penny.

All fine when the going is good...then they try and pull the wool over your eyes and rip you off. Proceed with caution
