The guys at Sheffield Boiler People are so lovely, super informative and helped us diagnose a problem with our boiler/hot water feed. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

After recently having some noise and pressure problems with my boiler and with winter coming up and needing to book a service, I called Sheffield Boiler People. The service I received was nothing short of exceptional with Joanna going above and beyond what was required. She eased my concerns about my recent increase in noise coming from my boiler and loss of pressure AND walked me through step by step with images and a phone call on how to fix this myself there and then. Boiler is running smoothly, quietly, the pressure is back to normal and my service is booked in for a couple of weeks time. 5 stars is not enough for this company and for Joanna.

A very good service! We engaged Sheffield Boiler People to install a new boiler after returning from holiday to find ours had stopped working. They provided quotes for a few different boilers clearly explaining the ins and outs of each. They then pulled out all the stops to install the very next day. We will definitely use them again.

Recently had an ideal boiler fitted and was delighted with the service received. From the quote (which turned out to be less that originally quoted) to joanna at the office for correspondence to Chris who fitted the boiler. Good value for money and would definitely recommend hallamshire boilers .

The service I received was amazing. There was great communication on the phone so they helped us understand all the different options and how everything will work. They even recommended what would be best for us rather than the most expensive options. They were very fast with the new boiler installation and they even helped me to temporarily fix the old boiler in the meantime which was really nice. The guy who installed the new boiler was really professional, friendly and helpful and he cared about hygiene, e.g. wore shoe covers and suggested that he use the back door so he will not have to walk around the house. I would highly recommend them.

We used Lewis for the annual service of our Ideal boiler. I was very impressed with the amount of time he spent and the attention to detail. He identified a fault which Ideal are fixing. This company are not the cheapest around but it is certainly worth paying extra for such good service.

Firstly, I want to send my thanks to the entire team at Hallamshire Energy. I contacted them the morning after my (very old!) boiler broke down. I was anxious to get a replacement fitted as soon as possible, as we were in the middle of a very cold winter storm and I have a young child at home. The team were friendly, informative and attentive at all times. Tom completed a thorough assessment via videocall and we had an engineer booked in to visit within 24 hours. Lewis attended the following morning and did an amazing job, which wasn't made easy by the stubborn old boiler that needed to be removed. We had heating and hot water back that same day. The new system is fantastic and the job was completed to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to use Hallamshire Energy again in future and would highly recommend!

Chris from Hallamshire Energy replaced my old Vaillant boiler with a new one and at the the same time moved it a short distance to a more accessible position. The work was carried out well and Chris got on with the job neatly and efficiently. It has all worked perfectly and I have been pleased especially as I am warm during this very cold spell. I thought the price was reasonable and have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I had a new combination boiler and pipework to covert from an old system 3 years ago. The quality of the products and workmanship were and remain excellent. The price was a good deal. They have also have been very helpful with sorting out minor issues after the installation (which did not result from their work but from existing weaknesses in my pipes). Really pleased with the service we got from Hallamshire Energy. Our boiler broke and within three days they had given a quote AND installed a new boiler. Couldn't fault anything and their customer service is excellent. Every member of staff we dealt with was polite, courteous and knowledgeable. From the pre service of the family survey where Tom went through our current and future needs, to the installation, this was the best experience I have ever had with a plumbing/boiler company. The team worked seemlessly. They did not try and make me buy the most expensive combi boiler, rather they recommended the most cost effective for my family which was also the cheapest. The flexible installation discount is a great idea and I was lucky enough to get the new boiler installed a week after the quote. Arranged a free quote and their comprehensive questionnaire identified exactly what boiler I required. Their price was competitive compared to the other companies I got quotes from and the price breakdown was superior to everyone else. They detail exactly what costs what, and even detail contingencies that may occur. With regards to the install, they were on time, polite and efficient. Our job was more difficult than a straight swap and took two days, but they made sure everything was done properly, quickly and tidied up after themselves so you'd never even know they'd been. Boiler broke last wk contacted them and Tom came out to do a survey in 2hrs.He was very professional,friendly and explained the options available,with no bias towards which boiler we chose.Since we had no heating or hot water they offered to install the next day which we were amazed and delighted to accept.The lads arrived at 9-30 and heating installed by 4,two professional and friendly fitters who left the job spotless.So if you want a honest,reliable firm then choose these lads.

Had a new boiler and nest thermostat fitted on Friday. Chris was very professional and offered great advice. They arrived promptly and got on with the job and really treat your property like it was their own, tidying up and leaving exactly as they found it. Highly recommended.

Had a boiler breakdown during the bad weather and needed a full replacement. Managed to get a really good quote and fitted within 1 working day. Quote was done over the phone and was competitive, the installation engineers were great gave me a call on the morning to let me know they were on the way and explained everything there were going to do. They put down covers for the carpet to make sure that nothing was damaged and left everything in either the same condition that it was in before hand. We will defiantly be using them for all services going forwards

Even though they were unable to help due to immediate nature of my problem they were still helpful enough to recommend another provider and even called on my behalf to check there availability before they passed me the details.

These guys make a real effort to satisfy customers, starting from the fixed-price quote they gave us. Top quality equipment is never cheap, but they were competitive and you know there will be no nasty afterthoughts. Heating installations are not the cleanest or tidiest of jobs, but they had a good go at keeping everything clean along the way, made sure that everything was clean and tidy and took the old system away as part of the job. Customer service is obviously essential to them, our annual boiler service has just been done with care and they came when they said. They even leave their boots at the door, if appropriate

I found Hallamshire Energy on the internet and I also obtained several quotations from other companies. This was the best price and I particularly liked the fact that the price was fixed. Tom fully explained all options of boilers and gave me confidence in their services and products. After I had accepted the quotation everything was put in writing for me to check. I needed the job doing in a short timescale and Hallamshire were able to do this. The engineers Chris and Billy were very polite, tidy and did an excellent job. The second boiler installation Hallamshire Energy have done for me, this one replacing a gravity fed system with a combi. They worked long hours to get the heating back on inside a day, and completed the work on day two. Can't fault the customer service and the price beat the other quotes too. After several weeks of searching the internet for the right boiler for my home, I opted to have the Ideal Vogue fitted from Hallamshire Energy. From start to finish I couldn't have wished for a better service: Their website was clear and concise. I received prompt email responses. I received very courteous and informative telephone conversation with several different personnel and a top of the range boiler for a very competitive price. I rang several local Gas installers who couldn't even come close to Hallamshire Energy's price, with one local installer even advising me to 'Snap their hands off' as I would find Hallamshire's price very hard to beat. The install went perfectly. The two guys arrived when they said they would. They were great to talk to and advised me what they were doing at each stage. They flushed out the old system, fitted the New Boiler were very clean and tidy and fully explained in Laymens Terms how the boiler worked. All the work was carried out within one working day. All that is left to say is that I was very impressed with the whole thing and happy with the price. I would, without doubt, recommend this company to fit a new boiler and have already recommended them to several friends and family.

Recently used Hallamshire energy to replace my old boiler with a new combi boiler and also replace my radiators. The work was carried out over two days, on the first day the old boiler was replaced and the new one up and running, so we were not left without heating or hot water overnight, and the radiators were replaced on the second day.The work was carried out to a good standard, they were polite and cleaned up when they had finished, and the price was very competitive.

I had been intending to buy a 30kw boiler. Chris from Hallamshire Energy - who assessed my property - advised me that I didn't need one so big/expensive because of my low water pressure ie I would not get out of a 30kw boiler was that size was intended to deliver. He was very informative and the price was excellent which made me decide to choose this company to fit an Ideal Vogue 26kw combi. The lads who fitted it in August were polite, tidy and focused. When the job was complete they explained how to use the boiler and thermostat. I cannot fault this company and definitely recommend it.

We were very nervous about the process and the amount of disruption that it might entail due to having to replace old pipes etc, but Kyle and Bobby were brilliant. My old Potterton boiler had given me great service for over 30 years, but for the last several years service engineers have been nagging me to replace it. When I found a slight water leak I knew the time had come. Replacing a traditional boiler with a combi boiler is a lot of money, so finding a trustworthy company to do a good job is always a great concern and a gamble. Old cylinder removed and replaced with a combi boiler. Very efficient, cheerful team. The work was completed in the allotted timescale and all mess was cleared up. Kyle went through the instructions for the new boiler to make sure I knew how to work it. Very good price as well!

I have had my boiler serviced twice now by H.E.S and on both occasions they have been professional, helpful and informative - they even checked the gas meter in the cellar and showed me the boiler filter, explaining how well it was working to keep the boiler clean. They are friendly and polite, they turned up on time and the price of the service is good too! I will definitely be using H.E.S again next year!

After comparing quotes, Hallamshire Energy Services was extremely good and great value for money. They started promptly and the job was shorter then I had anticipated with minimal disruption and nothing was too much trouble for the work men. I received good communication throughout the job and they adapted to their circumstances,as my house has concrete joists which made the job difficult. I would add however that the brickwork outside was terribly finished, something I did not think would happen from a company of this standing. But overall an excellent job, leaving me very satisfied.

I got a same day quote from Chris, he clearly explained my options and booked in my first choice of dates for my boiler upgrade. Kyle and Damon (who did the fitting) were very friendly and efficient. Recommended to us by a friend, we had Chris round the day we got the keys to our new house for a quote. He clearly explained the many options available, and even sent the quote over the same evening! The old heating system was removed and a new boiler fitted, and they had no issue with carrying out several other requests, including moving and fitting several radiators - all within a few days. These guys are pros. Along with being fast, polite, efficient, tidy & professional, they have a seemingly inexhaustible army of staff at their fingertips so any problem is dealt with as quickly as possible. Coupled with great contacts for other areas of work such as electrics, they are the one stop shop for any boiler install you require. Oh, and they were a grand cheaper than our other quotes. Top job. You really can't do better than use Hallamshire for your boiler changes. I run a letting agency and every boiler i have had installed in the last 2 years has been done perfectly by Hallamshire. They all have been perfectly installed by a great team. Each one has been a good product, great service and superb value. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.

We've just had our yearly boiler service done by Tom from Hallamshire Energy. We were happy with their boiler installation last year so we've decided to have the boiler service done by the same company. As expected we received a top service from start to finish. Joanna kindly booked us a service on Saturday so there was no need for us to take time off work. On the day of the service they've been in touch to keep us posted about their arrival time. The engineer Tom talked us through the service so we knew what was going on step by step. It would be great if all the companies out there could have such a great customer service. We will most certainly use Hallamshire Energy in the future as they have provided the best service we have ever received.

Tom and his team fitted our ideal vogue c40 back in August 2013. Tom sorted out all the registration/warranty etc and we received a building regulations compliance certificate. We were left a plastic folder which had everything we needed. I recall there was a problem after the installation but Tom gripped this immediately arranging for an ideal engineer to attend promptly. We have since used their annual boiler service which is reasonably priced and well organised. We have had two services so far and we are contacted when the service is due and they are accommodating for appointments. The staff attending are polite and update our service record. The boiler has never malfunctioned. I want to share tonight's experience however which has prompted me to write this review. I had topped up the water pressure this evening and a short while later the boiler stopped working. It is Friday night, January and cold! The intelligent ideal boiler, which I also recommend, told me the ignition was locked out. I could not get it working. I therefore rang Toms mobile around 8 pm on a Friday night. Within 5 minutes I had received a call back from his wife and this impressed me greatly. Tom was soon on the phone and his intimate knowledge of the ideal boiler and previous experience of trouble shooting was evident. He was patient with me and provided me with things to check and try. Within a short time collectively the problem was identified - me user error! I had accidentally knocked the gas off when topping the water up earlier! No call out or cold night waiting required. We were very impressed with HES from start to finish. From our initial enquiry on Sunday night to waving the engineers off on Weds afternoon following installation. Everyone we came into contact with were professional, friendly and knowledgable. We chose a Vaillant ecotec pro combi boiler and it was fitted and running within 6 hrs. The engineers Craig and Lewis worked efficiently,explaining the process and cleaning up afterwards. The boiler is so quiet we hardly know its on. We would definitely recommend Hallamshire Energy Services.

"Well what can I say. These guys were brilliant. He most punctual and cleanest plumbers I have ever come across. They had to have my boiler completed quickly as ours blew up and I was off work with a neck injury. 4 days before Christmas. They came to look at the situation and within 48 hours it was done. We decided to move from a water tank system to a combi system following the sensible advice for our needs. We both work away a lot, we also decided to go for a wifi control system and a phone app, which now means we can control our heating from our phones which will save us money when traveling. I wouldn't go anywhere else and have even now decided to use these guys for my two rental properties."

Could this be the best heating engineers company in Sheffield? I certainly think so! My old boiler broke down on Monday evening and having already decided the time had come to replace it, I contacted Hallamshire Energy via their website on Tuesday morning. By lunchtime I had 3 options for a replacement boiler to suit my needs following a very thorough and professional telephone discussion. I knew this was the company I wanted to do the work so I made my decision and the work was booked in for the following morning! Chris and Damon were very polite and clean working, explained everything they were going to do and demonstrated it all once they had finished. I was looking to change my boiler. I have done internet research and found Hallamshire Energy services highly recommend by Which? Trusted Traders so I called you. Initially the advice I received from Tom was thorough and professional. He made recommendations based on the questions he asked me and went through what would be the best product for me including the difference in boiler cover against warranty and impacts on my bill, and after 45 minutes of very professional conversation I was confident in the product I chose. Within 24 hours I received a quote bases on my budget but also including some cheaper options should I wish to choose them, so I felt he was not simply trying to sell me the most expensive product, which I found very reassuring. I have chosen quote with the Vaillant boiler which because you are Vaillant qualified fitter I received ten years breakdown and labour cover. The details in the quote was very clear so again this made it easy to understand with a breakdown of all the components I could choose and no hidden charges. Within 4 days the engineers came and again they were very professional and courteous. Upon finding my cupboard door would not close as the new boiler is slightly bigger they spent a further 3 hours rectifying existing pipework with no questions asked. Before they have left I was fully briefed how to use and set up boiler temp, Wireless thermostat, central heating set-up etc. The boiler is now installed and is a quality product. I will be recommending you to my friends and I could not be more impressed with the service you have provided!

I had my boiler installed in October by extremely friendly and knowledable tradesman. They answered all my questions thoroughly which provided me with reassurance that the work done was of the highest quality. The timescale of the installation in which I had a full working central heating system was within the day and after a month of running it, I have had no problems. However, even if problems had occurred the Hallamshire energy team would guarantee full support to get the problem solved. Fantastic sevice at a very competitive price.

I can do no more than endorse all the other positive reviews posted about this company having had a new Vaillant boiler and heated towel rail fitted by them a few weeks ago. A great team, but I have to single out Tom in particular for always finding the time to explain everything and discuss all the options at great length despite clearly being a very busy man.

Had 4 quotes, Hallamshire were really competitive and very professional. Things were explained in straightforward terms without being pushy. The workers were efficient and tidy. They made sure that everything was done well and spent time in getting things right (including Tom driving back the same evening to sort out some minor teething trouble).

From day 1 with the quote, HES made sure I understood all that was involved, and all the options available to me. No hard selling just good advice and the rest was down to me. I found Hallamshire Engergy by searching on Ebay for a particular boiler model and they offered a very reasonable price to supply, fit and replace my old one. Their initial communication and friendly advice tipped the balance in terms of using them or a local supplier (they are based in Sheffield, myself in Stockoprt). It was a wise choice indeed as the team worked tirelessly all day to finish the job to a high standard, and were in no rush to leave until the installation had been handed over thoroughly and the paperwork was complete. I'm especially pleased as my particular boiler was being relocated sideways and involved extra work for which I was only charged a small amount extra. Consultation regarding the installation was always forthcoming too. My official paperwork and warranty info was also supplied very soon after the installation. I wholeheartedly recommend Hallamshire Energy and have total confidence in their work, and I will also take advantage of their discounted boiler servicing for recommendations in the future.
