Dave from Alpha serviced my boiler and did a repair to it that has, hopefully, saved me the cost of a new boiler. Another person from another firm who saw the boiler previously failed to find the fault. I recently moved into this house and there were all sorts of things wrong with the plumbing that I did not expect. He has installed a new toilet to replace a cracked one, and has reconnected a mixer tap to a washbasin as well as sorting out a worn out toilet flush. He is very polite, keeps his appointments and shows a high level of knowledge about his work with regards to both gas and plumbing. He also cleans up after he has finished his work. He supplies all the approved certificates for the boiler service, itemised estimates and itemised invoices.

Dave was great - removed an ancient gas fire from the property, tested our chimney for leakage, and checked a pipe to confirm supply all for a very good quote - strongly recommend!

I used Alfa Gas Services for a service on my gas combi boiler and real effect gas fire. I found Dave Arnill very personable and informative, and he carried out the work very efficiently. I would have no hesitation in recommending him, and will certainly look to using him again in the future. Used Alfa Gas again 12 months on from when I first used. We received a timely reminder that servicing was due, and Dave provided a number of dates when he could carry out the work. Again the work was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption. Very satisfied.

Contacted Dave regarding fitting of a new gas fire. He carried out the installation promptly and in a very thorough and professional manner. His advice and friendly nature was much appreciated and we would definitely recommend his services.

We could smell Gas so called the gas company who said we had a leak on our gas fire and capped it of. Called ALFA GAS and Dave came to fix the leak and service the fire. Could not find a leak but informed us that the fire was corroded so we ordered a new one. Dave came on the day as arranged to bring and fit our new fire. Made a first class job, very friendly and tidy. We would recommend ALFA GAS to anyone.

Dave did landlord gas safety checks for me and discovered a serious problem with the installation of a boiler flue. This meant that the boiler could not be used until it was fixed, potentially a serious issue in October for my tenants who are a family with a young child. Dave addressed the problem the same day, came up with creative solutions which reduced the cost of repair while doing everything to the highest standard. I was on holiday at the time and he kept in contact by phone and WhatsApp, sent pictures of the problems and completed work. I am so glad that I chose to use a reputable local tradesmen rather than book services via a faceless website. Highly recommended.
