I give up. Ashley security fitted an alarm for us after our shed was broken into. It's never worked properly, false alarms are a regular occurrence if it's raining or windy. Now we only use the internal house elements. It is not worth the money, Ashley have tried on several occasions to solve the issues but failed. Now they refuse to sell me batteries which have worn out due to the false alarms but insist I have to pay for a call out to have them replaced. Ludicrous. The instructions are on the manufacturers website! I'm cancelling my contract and going elsewhere. Two stars because they tried, but failed

Two years ago they fitted intruder alarms and cameras. The cameras have malfunctioned following either a power cut or an Internet failure and the client has no instructions on how to fix it. I had taken out annual maintenance cover but had to pay for the callout as the breakdown was in their words "not their fault". I have just received another bill for £72 for fixing the cameras that had gone offline even though their engineer had confirmed that there was no charge.
Absolutely fantastic service. We had a snapped key in a lock, took it to the guys here & within minutes they had sorted it for us at such a reasonable price (too cheap in fact). They are polite, efficient and super goid at their job.
Ashley securities supplied me with a large number of cylinders for a property close to the sea after 11 months they showed signs of rusting, Dan the owner was happy to replace all of them with a better quality lock for free excellent service.

After losing our keys, I went to get replacements at Ashley Security this morning and was served by Owen, who couldn't have been more helpful to an old damsel in distress. Went in-store as i had a problem with my van key. I was expecting to need a whole new one and it would be costly but the guy was more then happy to sort it for me as it turned out, it just needed a new pin and he did it free of charge. Very pleased.
Lost both keys to my e-bike battery so unable to charge. Although the helpful guys at Ashley Security did not have a suitable blank they kindly picked the lock at no charge and removed the battery allowing me to fit a new lock. Great service with a smile.

I took my broken xsara picasso remote key to them as the buttons were broken and it no longer worked. After discovering that citroen would charge in excess of £300 for a new key we hoped the boys here could help. All fixed and working perfectly within a couple of hours. £50 all done ✔️ 🙌 They really are magic at fixing key fobs (they fixed my previous cars key) Great job. Highly recommend 👌

Went into Ashley security down the road from me looking to replace my lost letterbox key. After being unable to identify the correct key in store, Scott kindly walked to my property to help open my letterbox and retrieve my letters! Couldn’t recommend them enough and will definitely use them again.
Ashley Security Ashley Road. These guys are fantastic, I popped in on the off chance they could advise me about a price for my stop start key on my Landrover Discovery not working and unable to use the keys. Nothing was too much trouble for them,they tried a couple of different things, resulting in getting my keys working again saving me £800 pounds quoted by Landrover. Swapped all my electronic thob over to a new one with a brand key all for £20.00, such good value for money your high Street store timpsons quoted me £80.00. I had a broken key casing on my only car key. I initially emailed a question about cost and whether to book before I came, and had a very nice and prompt response. So I was able to turn up without an appt and have my damaged key swapped into a new casing. I also asked about a spare key to be cut as I've a habit of locking keys in my car, done that before! They were very sweet and said it would be £15 to make a none click copy, but as the old key had a spare metal part that would still work asked me if I would like to just keep the old metal key part and not charge me for cutting a new one. It will still unlock the car for me. I hadn't thought of that! I appreciated that he didn't chuck the metal old part and charge me for another key to be cut. Pretty decent of him. A very polite and efficient service. I would highly recommend

Visited to get a replace door lock and handle set to replace a 1960s originally. Found the staff both knowledgeable and helpful. I was not the only customer there, had two people queuing in front of me (Covid restrictions) and when I left three others waiting to be served. Would recommend.

I had lost window keys for my conservatory....having contacted the installers of this they were unable to help and suggested that I would need to replace the window handles at a cost of approximately £120. Unfortunately the window lock does not show any numbers that you could just go to a local locksmiths and get another cut. So I contacted AS who suggested that I took a photograph of the lock and I therefore visited them and they were able to find a key which matched my lock. I would suggest that if you have any problems with anything regarding locks / security..... Ashley Security are the ones to contact. Thank you for all your help.
Extremely quick and cheap key cutting service. Had a new tenant move in so needed a spare key, didn't even take a minute and my key was attached to a keychain too, fantastic service.
Went to get a key cut (3 needed) and couldn't believe how speedy they were. A couple of minutes and job done.
Half the price of Timsons. An actual locksmith that does all the things those overpriced key cutting kiosks can't. I wish I had discovered them years ago.
Really pleased with my new keys. First I arrived with my fiat 500 remote key that had died after being subject to sea water! I rang around other companies and Ashley Security were by far the best value saving me at least £25 to get it replaced. They sorted it while I waited and replaced it with a new key that works.... and an hour later I returned with our camper van key which wouldn't work remotely and they sorted that too. Result!! Efficient, friendly and value for money. I would definitely recommend!

Try and find them on check a trade ! The latest from this company is that they refuse to fix my alarm unless I pay the bill for the last time they did not fix it. Read here : Unfortunately, due to non payment of our last invoice we will not be providing any further support or assistance with regards to your intruder alarm. We suggest you contact a different company. Kind regards. Yann. I had to put a star on here so that it looked like I hadn't forgotten to put anything. The system that was installed has never worked properly. We can not use it again as is usual. My e mails are ignored, as I have asked now several times for a refund and the system to be uninstalled so I can have it done by someone else. The monitoring centre does not call you if the alarm goes off. I know this because my neighbour called me instead. When we had a problem with the system buzzing in the house at night, I called the 24 hr service and explained no one could sleep. The response was "What do you expect me to do about it". Personally I would steer well away.

Rude and inconsiderate. Unclear about what the service was when issued. Complete inability to listen or even let you finish your sentence - the gentleman there (if that's what you can call him) just put the phone down on me. Whatever happened to 'the customer is right?' As with the comment below if I could give 0 or even minus stars I would!

Very poor service indeed. Even though we had our maintenance contract for our alarm system with them they said they couldn't get an engineer out to replace our faulty panel for three weeks. That is no good at all when uninsured if not alarmed. They just didn't care. If we could give 0 out of five stars we would. Absolutely awful.
They are amazing. The guys in the shop are so knowledgeable and the engineer arrived on time and was very pleased with the workmanship provided.
