Ben has done several jobs for us and his work and attention to detail is first class. He is always cheerful and good company, we would never contemplate using anyone else. Not forgetting the lovely Jeanette who is a pleasure to speak to.
I have recently needed the help of a locksmith on two separate occasions. In both instances B.E.N. have come to my rescue. From the first point of contact to the locksmith attending my house I was always dealt with in a friendly and totally professional manner. The second call out required items to be placed on order and throughout the process I was kept updated regarding progress until the job could be completed. I have absolutely no hesitation in giving a 5 star review and have recommended the company to my friends and family.
Great service, right from my first call with Jenette (who was extremely helpful) through to the on-site replacement of my lock. The team are extremely friendly and called back as they promised and called ahead before the scheduled appointment to let me know they were on their way. Would have no hesitation in recommending the company. Overall extremely pleased with the service received and will use again if I have an lock related issues.
The gearbox latch on my front door gave up and I couldn’t close it. All the big retailers only had next-day delivery, but B.E.N Locksmiths actually answered the phone straight away. They were really friendly, knew exactly what I was talking about, and had the part in stock. Just over an hour later I was fitting the new latch — reasonably priced too! Great service, and it felt good supporting a proper local business instead of the big chains.
Ben lovely and chatty. Quick fix for a lock change. Very tidy even hoovering outside for the concern of dog getting shards in his paws. Cheapest company I phoned.
I contacted B.E.N. Locksmiths (after finding on Google) to ask them to try to sort out a bifold door lock that was faulty. I booked a visit and Ben and Scott turned up on time, replaced the lock, identified the cause of the problem and fixed that also. They were polite, tidy and explained everything fully. I could not have been more impressed - thank you Ben!
Just moved house, Ben was able change the appropriate locks as well as advise on the ones that didn't need changing. A warm and friendly service from the team starting with the my initial phone call to the completion of the work.

This is the second time I have called upon their services when another lock broke in our home. The response was super quick. Workmanship excellent with plenty of advice. If you're in the unfortunate position to need a locksmith these are the guys to go to.
An outstanding service from a genuinely locally based business in Basingstoke. Fast efficient with reasonable and fair pricing too. Getting locked out is no fun but b.e.n. locksmiths got me back in my home within 90 minutes of me first contacting them (and that was a very high security lock that failed).If ever you find yourself in a similar situation, call these friendly people and be safe in the knowledge they are NOT going to rip you off. We got locked out of kitchen when a spring went in the door handle and as Ben installed and services our alarm he was the best choice to call - on time , always pleasant ( as is the lovely Jenette who sorts out the bookings ) and tidies up after. I thoroughly recommend using Ben for all alarm and lock issues.

I needed a locksmith to change 3 locks for me - found B.E.N. on Check-a-Trade and contacted them to arrange a visit which I was booked in for a few days later. The locksmith was punctual, arriving at the time agreed, with a courtesy call half-an-hour earlier. After taking a look at the work that needed doing he said he had all the parts and could do it there and then which I was happy with. The work was completed to an excellent standard and at a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend B.E.N. for any locksmith work.

I needed to secure 3 doors on a new property and a friend recommended BEN. A locksmith visited and discussed requirements then promptly followed up with an emailed quote which includedzz xx the more expensive option I had asked for. They clearly explained why a cheaper alternative was more secure (that’s unusual these days!). The locksmith arrived on the day agreed, efficiently installed the locks and left things clean, tidy and secure. Great service!

Fabulous service, Jeanette a lovely lady listened to my problem & near miss using another so called Locksmiths "Locksmithsam" they said they were called I'd give them a MISS! Anyway Jeanette gave me some fabulous advice & booked me in for the next day. Ben turned up at my door very nice young man who looked at my lock & let me know it wasn't a lock issue more or a weather issue with the door frame, he sorted it out & told me if I have any problems I can call them again. I am so glad I listened to my gut feeling about the other fella & found B.E.N Locksmiths I would highly recommend them especially if you want peace of mind. Extremely pleasant to deal with on the phone & in person ☺️
Ben and his team were incredibly professional turning up when expected with a 30 minute courtesy call and fully Covid-19 safe wearing a mask at all times. He found and explained the issue fully and ensured I was completely happy with every aspect of the fix. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

They came out at short notice, changed all my locks after I lost my keys. They were fast, friendly, professional and very reasonably priced! Would happily recommend!!
