Super fast, efficient and knowledgeable service

Excellent service from start to finish. Gary arrived on time, was professional, friendly and highly efficient. He came to remove a broken key from our lock but, after explaining the condition of the lock, honestly recommended replacing it rather than carrying out a temporary fix. The new lock was very reasonably priced, and he also replaced our front door lock, which had been causing problems. Everything was completed quickly and to a high standard, with no pressure or unnecessary upselling. Honest, reliable and excellent value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gary to anyone looking for a trustworthy locksmith.

Key broken off in French doors. Excellent service, arrived on time. Explained options and cost before starting. Cleaned up well and made sure I was happy before departing. I will certainly use Gary again if need arises.

I have not previously needed a locksmith so when I couldn't open my front door there was the usual anxiety of who am I going to call.....A few clicks later I saw some excellent recommendations for Lockfit and thought I'd give them a try. From that point on Gary provided all the reassurance and expertise I needed. Having given me some initial costs over the phone, he arrived on time, quickly got the door open and diagnosed the problem. He gave me a price for the repair which was in line with what we had previously discussed and replaced the broken components (which he carried on his van). There were some other issues with the door that Gary identified and dealt with and before I knew it the job was done. Gary was very professional, polite and nothing was too much trouble. A great service from a skilled tradesman. I have no reservations in recommending Lockfit.

Absolutely 5 Star Service. Having put up with a dodgy front door lock since we moved in we finally decided to get it replaced. I got 3 quotes and Gary was cheapest by £30 and had the best reviews, he was also the only one who could carry out the work straight away. An immediate fix was not originally on my list of criteria but it was a nice unexpected bonus. So Gary arrived within 15 minutes, discussed options, carried out the work ( which looks very neat and tidy) and did an excellent job of cleaning up. He was friendly, helpful and professional and I highly recommend.

Absolutely Superb. Gary (LockFit Basingstoke) helped us out of a jam (no pun intended!) We had been scammed by “locksmith company” and Gary came to the rescue. He was patient, listened to our issue, wasn’t judgemental and offered advice. His communication before arriving was great – giving us the option of WhatsApp or phone call and arrived exactly when he said he would. He offered a fair price for the work– with advice to check it was fair before we accepted. The work was completed quickly and invoice was emailed and itemised. He had a clearly marked van, with ID that also matched his picture and description on the website – this was added peace of mind. Gary is now my go-to for any further jobs. Highly Recommended.

He was very polite and asked some questions to get an understanding of the problem. He gave me a rough estimate on the phone which was spot on. In fact I think it turned out to be a little cheaper in the end. As it was not restricting access to the main house it meant this was not a lock out as such however Gary was round within 90 minutes and fixed within 30 minutes and he didn't even want a cup of tea! Great guy. Will use again and recommend to anyone.

Gary from LockFit Basingstoke has been absolutely brilliant-Extremely happy with the work and how it was finished; punctual, highly professional, reasonably priced and very thoughtful of even little hazards!! Highly recommend

Gary was quick to respond to my queries (even though it wasn't an emergency) I had two new locks fitted in my home. This is the second time I have used Gary's services. Very knowledgeable and I appreciate that he always cleans up after himself. Locks look and work great too with decent amount of keys to go with. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. On time. Outstanding job.

Gary arrived on time and fixed the broken lock on the garage door. He was so quick and friendly that we asked him to change the lock on the front door too. He also adjusted both doors so they opened easily, instead of the usual push-pull-jiggle-swear that we've been doing for 5 years! Great work, very reasonable price and highly recommended.

I had a proper nightmare today when I found myself locked out of my flat without my keys, wallet, or phone. After walking to my office to make some calls and being on hold with other companies with no help, I found Gary's ad and decided to give him a ring. Gary was an absolute lifesaver! He answered immediately and assured me he'd be there in half an hour. True to his word, he arrived quickly and had my door open in just five seconds. Gary was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole process. If you ever find yourself in a similar bind, I highly recommend Gary. His prompt and efficient service saved my day. Thank you, Gary!

Gary was on time, friendly and helpful. Despite a last minute change to the type of lock needed, he was able to accommodate and cut additional keys on the spot. Will definitely use his services again.

Gary replied quickly to all messages. It was quick and easy to schedule the work. He did the work very quickly and to a good standard, and was able to accept a card payment. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Came out within the hour. Problem to front door lock repaired very happy

Excellent service and value for money! Our backdoor (UPVC) would not open, the key wouldn't even turn. Tried one locksmith who was unable to open it and suggested we needed a new door. Also had a local window and door company look at it. They also suggested a new door. Passed on that, called Gary, and it was opened and fixed in an hour. He even realingned one of the patio doors too!

Polite, professional, and a quick response time- very happy with the service provided. Would not hesitate to recommend Gary to anyone in the Basingstoke needing a locksmith service.

Perfect service. Informative and helpful.

Gary helped us get back into our home within the hour when we accidently locked ourselves out, and our dog inside! He was quick to answer the phone, friendly and charged a fair price for excellent service. We cannot recommend Gary highly enough! Thank you!

Really efficient and quick service. I would recommend it.

Reponded quickly, with the price agreed upfront and came out to unlock my front door within an hour, despite it being a Bank Holiday. Recommended if you get locked out!

Great service, contacted Gary via WhatsApp on Saturday and got reply within minutes, sent over some pictures to get a quote which was received promptly, Gary then arrived within agreed time, explained everything and changed the locks. The whole operation took less than 1.5h Happy days! Would definitely recommend

Came out on a rainy Monday night at the request of a colleague who was on holiday when he took our call. Our lock surround snapped (because it is old and rusted) and Gary couldn’t have been any more apologetic for something not his fault. No drilling and our lock still works. Once we were in, he was thorough in checking we were actually the homeowners. Brilliant service. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you!

Excellent speedy and professional service.

Professional service and went the extra mile to do the job properly and saved me money in the process, well deserving of 5 stars

Very quick response. Came round immediately and changed lock there and then. No fuss. No sales patter. Genuine guy. Great price for type of lock I wanted. Definitely recommend 100%.

If you need a Locksmith, these guys are who you need to call. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, knowledgeable and all round top bloke, who went above and beyond in our time of need. So, a bit of backstory and a warning. My friend sadly locked himself out of his flat, and after calling his building management company and both being quoted £350, a 4 hour wait and told “It’s not my F’ing problem so deal with it”, we decided it’s best and more cost effective to call a Locksmith ourselves. In what can only be described as pure stupidity, we rang a “local” locksmith, who quoted £49 and 30 Minute attendance. Well, 3 and a half hours later (after many calls being told it would be another 30 mins each time), two men turned up in a smashed up VW Golf, with a random bag of tools which looked more suitable for committing burglary. They took a 2 second look at the lock and decided that the lock would have to be drilled, cost £300, and there would likely be a large amount of damage to the door. After myself and my friend stopped laughing, we told them to go away. Apparently this is a fairly common occurrence, where people pretend to be Local Locksmiths, come from London, and just smash the door up to gain entry, leaving you with a hefty bill to pay, and a destroyed door. So be warned when getting a locksmith. Enter our Hero Gary. It was now about half 10 at night and we managed to find Gary’s details online. Now Gary did say he wasn’t on call this evening, however, after hearing our woes and how upset my friend was, he jumped into action, and was with us in 30 mins. He was polite, professional and a right laugh. He arrived with all the professional kit for the job, and had the door open within a matter of minutes. Gary is honestly our Hero, and I cannot thank him enough for his amazing work. The price was what was discussed, and the work was flawless. If you need a locksmith in the Basingstoke or M3 corridor, I cannot recommend them enough!

Would highly recommend LockFit. Gary was quick to respond to my initial enquiry and had our problem solved the same day (composite doors lock). A great professional service!

Excellent service was early to the appointment. Very friendly and extremely helpful. If you are in need of a locksmith, look no further.

Having received some silly quotes and misleading quotes ( £55 assured,Then arrived and demanded a further £155 cash to get me in). I then contacted Gary who was transparent and reasonable about his charges. It was 8:30 pm, and my keys were inside my flat, but Gary went out of his way to help me gain access without the need to use extortionate Cowboys. Very friendly and professional, I would recommend Gary to anybody needing the services of a locksmith.
