After having previous bad experiences with Locksmiths, I can say that Gary was excellent and I would highly recommend him. The issue was diagnosed and options given. Gary was not pushy with upselling anything, he gave honest advice and found a solution.
I rang Gary for help and advice to 2 separate doors that weren’t locking. It wasn’t urgent, however, Gary arranged to visit the very next day at 2pm. He arrived on time, and was extremely knowledgeable, honest and very kind, and fixed both doors there and then. I would highly recommend, as this was an excellent service. Thank you Gary.

Excellent service from start to finish. Gary arrived on time, was professional, friendly and highly efficient. He came to remove a broken key from our lock but, after explaining the condition of the lock, honestly recommended replacing it rather than carrying out a temporary fix. The new lock was very reasonably priced, and he also replaced our front door lock, which had been causing problems. Everything was completed quickly and to a high standard, with no pressure or unnecessary upselling. Honest, reliable and excellent value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gary to anyone looking for a trustworthy locksmith.

I have not previously needed a locksmith so when I couldn't open my front door there was the usual anxiety of who am I going to call.....A few clicks later I saw some excellent recommendations for Lockfit and thought I'd give them a try. From that point on Gary provided all the reassurance and expertise I needed. Having given me some initial costs over the phone, he arrived on time, quickly got the door open and diagnosed the problem. He gave me a price for the repair which was in line with what we had previously discussed and replaced the broken components (which he carried on his van). There were some other issues with the door that Gary identified and dealt with and before I knew it the job was done. Gary was very professional, polite and nothing was too much trouble. A great service from a skilled tradesman. I have no reservations in recommending Lockfit.

Absolutely 5 Star Service. Having put up with a dodgy front door lock since we moved in we finally decided to get it replaced. I got 3 quotes and Gary was cheapest by £30 and had the best reviews, he was also the only one who could carry out the work straight away. An immediate fix was not originally on my list of criteria but it was a nice unexpected bonus. So Gary arrived within 15 minutes, discussed options, carried out the work ( which looks very neat and tidy) and did an excellent job of cleaning up. He was friendly, helpful and professional and I highly recommend.

Needed a non-urgent front door lock change so called Gary to book it in. Came over within 2 hours and had it done within minutes. Highly recommended professional locksmith.
Leaving for the school run i managed to shut our front door with keys in the barrel inside the house. Dreading the worse I googled locksmiths. Gary was topped rated and I can see why. I rang him explained the situation, recieved a price and that he would be an hour. 50 minutes later Gary arrived in a marked van, got me into the house without damage. No upsetting, no surprises. I paid the money I was quoted. Importantly he was concerned to make sure I was the home owner. He is clearly someone how takes pride in his business and sticks to his word. Hopeful to not need him again in the same circumstances. However 100% recommend if locked out.

Absolutely Superb. Gary (LockFit Basingstoke) helped us out of a jam (no pun intended!) We had been scammed by “locksmith company” and Gary came to the rescue. He was patient, listened to our issue, wasn’t judgemental and offered advice. His communication before arriving was great – giving us the option of WhatsApp or phone call and arrived exactly when he said he would. He offered a fair price for the work– with advice to check it was fair before we accepted. The work was completed quickly and invoice was emailed and itemised. He had a clearly marked van, with ID that also matched his picture and description on the website – this was added peace of mind. Gary is now my go-to for any further jobs. Highly Recommended.

First time dealings with Gary @ LockFit. What a gentleman, great customer service - even though I told him my job wasn't urgent he fitted a visit in within two hours of me making contact and arrived within the time period he estimated he would. He doesn't just talk the talk, he has the locksmith knowledge to back up his customer service and even showed me the steps to take to correct the problem should I get a similar issue again! I recently had the pleasure of using LockFit Basingstoke Locksmiths, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! The locksmith was incredibly nice, prompt, and super friendly from the moment he arrived. He tackled the job with professionalism and completed an excellent job, leaving everything secure and working perfectly. I rang Gary as he was the closest locksmith shown on Google maps. Although it was 19.00 he answered my call and even though it wasn’t an emergency he was at the house by 10.30 the following morning. He sorted out both doors ( one wouldn’t lock and one was very hard to close and lock.) He worked nonstop till both doors were closing and locking perfectly; very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. The cost was exactly as quoted the night before when he hadn’t seen the job. I would certainly recommend Gary to anyone who needs a competent professional locksmith.

Gary was brilliant. I had a lock fail on a brick outhouse that just would not open. Rang Gary at 10:30am on Friday morning and explained the issue to him. He was very polite and asked some questions to get an understanding of the problem. He gave me a rough estimate on the phone which was spot on. In fact I think it turned out to be a little cheaper in the end. As it was not restricting access to the main house it meant this was not a lock out as such however Gary was round within 90 minutes and fixed within 30 minutes and he didn't even want a cup of tea! Great guy. Will use again and recommend to anyone.

Excellent service and value for money! Our backdoor (UPVC) would not open, the key wouldn't even turn. Tried one locksmith who was unable to open it and suggested we needed a new door. Also had a local window and door company look at it. They also suggested a new door. Passed on that, called Gary, and it was opened and fixed in an hour. Came out on a rainy Monday night at the request of a colleague who was on holiday when he took our call. If you need a Locksmith, these guys are who you need to call. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, knowledgeable and all round top bloke, who went above and beyond in our time of need. So, a bit of backstory and a warning. My friend sadly locked himself out of his flat, and after calling his building management company and both being quoted £350, a 4 hour wait and told “It’s not my F’ing problem so deal with it”, we decided it’s best and more cost effective to call a Locksmith ourselves. In what can only be described as pure stupidity, we rang a “local” locksmith, who quoted £49 and 30 Minute attendance. Well, 3 and a half hours later (after many calls being told it would be another 30 mins each time), two men turned up in a smashed up VW Golf, with a random bag of tools which looked more suitable for committing burglary. They took a 2 second look at the lock and decided that the lock would have to be drilled, cost £300, and there would likely be a large amount of damage to the door. After myself and my friend stopped laughing, we told them to go away. Apparently this is a fairly common occurrence, where people pretend to be Local Locksmiths, come from London, and just smash the door up to gain entry, leaving you with a hefty bill to pay, and a destroyed door. So be warned when getting a locksmith. Enter our Hero Gary. It was now about half 10 at night and we managed to find Gary’s details online. Now Gary did say he wasn’t on call this evening, however, after hearing our woes and how upset my friend was, he jumped into action, and was with us in 30 mins. He was polite, professional and a right laugh. He arrived with all the professional kit for the job, and had the door open within a matter of minutes. Gary is honestly our Hero, and I cannot thank him enough for his amazing work. The price was what was discussed, and the work was flawless. If you need a locksmith in the Basingstoke or M3 corridor, I cannot recommend them enough!

Having received some silly quotes and misleading quotes ( £55 assured,Then arrived and demanded a further £155 cash to get me in). I then contacted Gary who was transparent and reasonable about his charges. It was 8:30 pm, and my keys were inside my flat, but Gary went out of his way to help me gain access without the need to use extortionate Cowboys.
