What a lovely, lovely man Chris is. We called Croma for an 'as soon as possible' visit when our front door lock failed. Within 2 hours Chris was with us. He then went out of his way to be kind and even helped us fix our broken door frame which had been damaged by the lock failing. He really went the extra mile for us and we're now totally secure again. Thank-you Chris and I can thoroughly recommend this company for their great service!

Contacted Croma Locksmiths Basingstoke when door lock had become unsteady and needed unjamming. Given date to fix quickly and he arrived on time. He described the problem after diagnosing it, gave us a sensible quote to fix and said would order new part. He returned to the office, found they had the part there, phoned us back to say he could return straight away and repaired the door. While explaining that he always checked all the alignments too I commented about another door having this problem. He volunteered to see to this too all in the same price. 2 troublesome doors as new now. Brilliant efficient service at a good price.

Amazingly quick key cutting!! Had someone cut copies of keys here on my behalf. Two other stores messed it up this key before so didn’t have high hopes But it was done in minutes and literally works perfectly. I wish I’d known about this tucked away gem sooner.

Cheaper than Timpson's. They got the job done in good time. I had two keys cut, one works better than the other in terms of rotating in the lock. They said its OK to bring them back if they don't work.
A wonderful guy came out on Friday 29th to fix the lock on my gate and he was amazing not only did he fix my gate but he went above and beyond and fixed a couple other issues for me too and being disabled it felt amazing for someone to want to help and care and he only charged me the call out fee we definitely need more guys like this he is awesome and I definitely will be recommending them 100%

So pleased to have found this lovely gem of a place tucked away at the top of town. I had been let down twice by a well known key cutting provider and was desperate for a replacement key. I don’t normally bother with reviews, but yesterdays service from Croma was exceptional. Having gone on the Basingstoke Locksmiths website I found that they had changed names to Croma but was still the same trusted team. The team were able to come out a few hrs later the same day to fix a broken gearbox in a upvc door that was locked shut. 20 mins later the gearbox was changed, the euro cylinder changed, and even took the time to rework and fix the door frame that had caused the gearbox to wear and fail. The engineer was super helpful explaining all the costs upfront, as well as providing super helpful advice on changing other locks at the property. Fantastic service, helpful and friendly team, and for the work carried out I felt it was great value! Will be calling on the Basingstoke Croma team for all future needs for sure.

I don't usually write reviews, but as Dominic was so helpful and obliging on Friday I thought I would put pen to paper. The door handle had fallen off the back door, although it could still be locked. I made the appointment over the phone and I think Dominic thought he was just coming along to give a price. He arrived on time, gave me the quote and when I asked if there was any chance he could do the repair the same day, he was very obliging. He went back to the office to get the parts and returned and fitted them in no time at all. He was extremely polite and professional throughout, and as I say, I was most grateful that he managed to do the repair there and then. I would recommend this company, and especially Dominic. He was very knowledgeable in explaining and demonstrating the issue and advising how it could be repaired. Dominic, is truly a star. I am definitely a satisfied customer.

I had 3 keys cut in another trader in town. These were cut from their own master key. It was £17.50 for one and 3 for £50. None of those would even turn in the lock. Went back for another 3 and still no joy. Got the refund and went to Croma. One key was £8.50 and worked first time no problem. Also got an additional 3 and all worked perfectly. Great service , value and highly recommended 👍

All staff have always been so helpful and knowledgeable, especially Naomi who has always gone that extra mile and done her best to answer my clueless questions with a calm and patient manner. This was my first experience of this locksmith company(though it was recommend) Dominic came and he was super helpful. He explained what the problem was and didn't leave until I was entirely satisfied and confident with the work.
Very impressed with how prompt Dominic attended. Only had to wait an hour for him to attend even though it was seven o’clock in the evening, price for the call out was very reasonable would certainly use Basingstoke lock smith’s again

Not only did he fix the lock, he fixed the door handles that had been insecure for over 20 years, and he also rehung the door so that it worked better than it had ever worked. I have used these guys for over 25 years in both the commercial and domestic setting and they have always been nothing less than outstanding. Very personable and professional in all that they do with no job too small. For example, at one end of the scale they have repaired quick release fire doors and maintained security doors in a GP surgery and at the other they have just rebuilt a lock for a 1917 canteen of cutlery for me. Our 30 year old front door wouldn't lock properly. The Locksmith took the time advice and then replace the lock and fix the door hinge. Wasn't cheap, but it now works like new.

Clear communication - both on the time of the visit and the amount it would cost to repair. Locksmith Dominic Holman was professional, polite and a credit to the company. Good staff are hard to find, you should look after him.
My neighbour accidentally locked herself out (does anyone do it deliberately?) and had left her dinner in the oven and veg on the gas hob!! She was really stressed and didn't have her phone either. I called Croma and was relieved to have a very quick response from a nice guy call Dominic who was able to help my neighbour. (She asked me to say thank you in my review too!). Very professional and responsive service.

Sadly very expensive couldn't repair lock on patio doors said mechanism was too old but still charged £80. Not happy!!!
Christmas Eve and my front door lock failed so house unlockable over Christmas. Took the lock and multipoint to Croma in Basingstoke an hour before closingwho advised me that the lock needed replacing and fitted a new lock. I took it home and was starting to fit the hew assembly when I received a courtesy call from Dominic who asked me how I was getting ok n with reinstallation. I wasn't completely sure so he very patiently talked me through the process including my sending photos for him to assess progress. He did this to save me a call out charge. Fantastic service
Had a very difficult job (for every other locksmith company starting with T and ending in impsons). These guys had it cut and sorted in no time and was no trouble. Car started first time. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks for helping sort our little Renault!
Needed keys cut but although website showed normal pre Covid opening times I decided to phone first. Tuesday 9-11 am the man at HO said, so I arrive at 10.40 to find the door locked. Another phone call and a none too happy chap, working on his own, let me in & cut my keys rather begrudgingly. I'd wished I'd gone round the corner to Timpsons! This locksmith is normally very good & I've used them often but the website needs to reflect the correct opening times and they need to make sure they have the staff to operate the shop properly, or just not bother at all.
Helped me get into my safe after the batteries had gone flat on it. I took it to their shop and it was opened and sorted in a matter of minutes! Really friendly helpful staff

We called out Basingstoke Locksmiths late on a Saturday night and within half an hour Paul had been, changed the lock and gone. We’re really impressed and can’t recommend them highly enough. Quick, prompt, courteous service and cost a lot less than we were expecting - what more could you ask for?!

Beware another company out there is trading as Basingstoke Locksmith but registered as Jet Locksmith. Now these are gng to give you guys a bad name as they are awful and very deceptive. Feel sorry for you guys.

please don't use this company they sell over priced rubbish, I bought a front door lock from them, my fitter would not fit what I bought from them, it cost me a lot but was actually cheep rubbish, I expected to get something better than a DIY chain but I got a much inferior part not fit for purpose and as they wouldn't give me a refund I wanted to warn you so you don't get ripped off too. Be Warned !!!
