We needed somebody to come very quickly and fix the sidebars of our window downstairs. We try to fix it ourselves but we’re not successful and it would not have closed otherwise. I phoned Mike on his mobile and he quickly organised for his colleague Brad to come around and take a look. Brad was able to fix it he replaced both side bars of the window and I would thoroughly recommend Penny repairs. We will book again in the future as needed and had a great service.

This company was an absolute delight to deal with from outset, they even popped round earlier than scheduled as had availability. Came for what I thought was a squeaky problem with a door hinge, found it wasn't and fixed it with out charge. Advised if it came back contactbthem. So honest and helpful. Third time I have used them and they proced again to be very very good.
Excellent experience from start to finish with Penny Repairs - from the communication prior to Mike's visit to repair our window, everything was done so efficiently. Hard to find a more efficient and friendly company. Very grateful to Mike for finding a solution so quickly to fix our Velux which kept us warm over Christmas. Mike and his team did a great job of replacing a blown patio door double glazing pane and renewing the sealing around the doors. I'd highly recommend them. And Arlo the dachshund was super cute!

We couldn't have asked for better service than we had from Penny Repairs. From prompt visit and free no obligation quote to completion of work, the levels of communication, politeness, timekeeping and quality of work were faultless. We had two double glazed units swapped out in our conservatory due to excessive misting and an alarming level of water creeping up the cavity between the glass panels. Brad and his colleague replaced these quickly and efficiently and subsequently returned to adjust the hinges on the patio doors and replace the bubble seals which had perished. Thanks again guys!

Phoned and booked an appointment for them to come out and quote on two door repairs, one of which was an emergency, they never turned up so I rang them and re booked, they come and looked at the job and said they would quote me and I am still waiting two weeks later no response. Very poor service

Arrived on time when they said they would. Did a great job doing my windows and my front window which is now beautifully clean. I would recommend them to anybody. I know if they’ve got issues with their windows.
I used Penny Repairs initially to repair two UPVC doors which had damage to the lock mechanisms and the service was great. I went on to have the glass replaced in 11 windows, all of which were blown and almost opaque in some cases! Service was excellent, pricing was fair and they were very prompt. Appointments were flexible and they were on time everytime. Proper 5 star business - well recommended

Can’t fault this company. Was recommended to me as I had a few issues with my windows that were installed over 20 years ago by Anglian windows. A couple of my windows had gone very misty between the double glazing also 2 windows very hard to open and close and a couple of handles needed replacing also my fairly new french doors needed adjusting. Very reasonable quote, arrived when they said they would and all jobs completed in a couple of hours. Lovely guy. Very professional. I would certainly use again and definitely will recommend to my family and friends.

Penny repairs have been absolutely brilliant! They have done work on my entire property, windows and doors. Realigning, maintaining, fixing and replacing many issues. Their work is the best quality and they always communicate details clearly. I trust their opinion on what works need doing, when I ask if something needs replacing, if it does not they are honest and have told me there is no need, and advise me of ways to maintain my windows myself. Very polite workers, who are efficient with their work and clean up after themselves. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Mike changed the gearbox mechanism on my front door, And replaced the door handles and letterbox, Mike explained everything that he was doing, I was impressed with his knowledge and skills, And he only left when he was totally satisfied everything was working the way it should. Excellent customer service from Mike and Vikki at Penny Repairs. We had a jammed lock mechanism on our patio doors, another company told us that the whole patio door needed replacing! Called Penny Repairs who said they could change the lock, on the day the repair was done, Mike told us that he didn't need to replace all the parts as quoted so the repair bill would be less than originally quoted for. Good old fashioned honest customer service from the team at Penny Repairs. Will definitely use again and recommend to others before they commit to the unnecessary expense of changing things when they can be fixed. Well done Penny Repairs.

We had slide and tilt patio door which were advised could not be repaired by various locksmiths. Penny repairs are able to repair for us which is not what we expected. They also repaired hinges on a window which we believed would have to be replaced. Very happy customers. Excellent customer service

Recently had a garage conversion with a bay window. Building inspector says the window needed to be a fire escape hinge. Called a couple of window people including the guy who installed it who said wrong type of window for fire escape hinge. Called Mike who came out and replaced hinge within 20 minutes and should satisfy building inspector. Would recommend and use again
Fantastic job - I had two windows where the handles wouldn’t push down, one back door lock that kept catching & a patio door that wouldn’t lock. After reviewing the jobs, the windows were fixed without any additional materials, the back door adjusted & a couple of hinges swapped over, everything now working perfectly. I was kept informed throughout the process of what needed to happen, the guys were polite, helpful & very knowledgeable. Great job, would use again & would definitely recommend
The guy rarely answers his phone. Tells you he can help and to text him the deatails then you never hear from him again despite multiple follow-up attempts to call him. Waste of time.

The difference in the temperature once Mike and Brad had finished updating all of our windows and doors was quite shocking. We have been able to turn our heating down and actually benefit from the warmth now that all the drafts have been sorted out. We are very happy with their service and consider their work a very affordable investment.
Fixed a lot of our windows and doors, all of which are still opening smoothly! Found they could repair a couple of windows that they thought during the quote would need parts replacing so reduced the bill.
Very poor with communication. Have left messages but has not replied. I am still persisting as there are very few firms only doing repairs, most others just trying to sell you window replacements.

I phoned Mike this morning. He luckily was 2 minutes from my home and came immediately. He and his assistant repaired 2 of my patio doors that weren't locking properly all for free. He is the nicest of people, very efficient and courteous. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Big thank you to Mike and his oppo (sorry, I didn’t get your name) for his visit to sort out my Mum’s rubbing back door. I had suggested it maybe worn hinges and on that basis Mike had quoted me for 3x replacement hinges. On arriving he deduced it wasn’t the hinges but the way the glass had been fitted in the door. It was a relatively simple job of replacing the packers that supported the glass and now the door opens and closes as it should do. Consequently the bill was considerable less than replacing the hinges! I can certainly recommend Mike for uPVC type repairs.

Mike came to replace 3 pieces of glass that has condensation in them today. Arrived on time, great service, clean and tidy, and cannot fault them! I initially contacted them in April, booked in for June, and I then had to cancel, but they were always professional and happy to keep to my schedule and wait until I was ready. No deposit required, they rely on goodwill and trust, and I would 100% go back!

Work done on the call-out day just a week after called them back as the shop door had same problem kept on calling them only excuses that they are busy I was told the date no one turns up I gave up in end and called some one else stay away waste of time
Had two windows fixed by Mike and what a brilliant service - I was expecting a quote only today but Mike had the time to fix them there and then and did. I had a quote elsewhere some months ago and was quoted the same price for one window that Mike charged for two. Highly recommend.

Just wanted to thank Mike, Brad and Riley for the amazing job they have done. The girls in the office are great. I had pretty much every window blown and rather the getting new double glazing the guys have replaced every glass panel. Also replaced broken handles, 2 doors that did not close properly and the sliding door. They are honest hardworking and very professional and the price is extremely reasonable. I can’t praise or highly recommend this company enough! I had a window lock that had rusted solid and feared I’d need a new window. Mike was able to replace the faulty parts for a very competitive price, and the window works perfectly again. Mike repaired two windows - one with a broken lock, one needing new hinges - for me. We had our Bi-Fold door repaired as the door had dropped.. also our composite front door was not hard to shut and this was repaid too.
