Itchen Glass installed a door and window at the back of our garage where there had previously been a "through and through" up and over door. We had the brickwork carried out separately prior to that. They did a great job and would certainly have them back for any other work we might need in future.

I had my front door and window done recently, and I also asked them to change the locking mechanism for my bathroom window as it couldn't open. It was a no-nonsense process. The crew were friendly and were able to complete the job within a good timeframe, the job was quoted at a reasonable price, they answered my questions promptly (I sent these via email), and they didn't try to take advantage or oversell.

Great job! Excellent service from A to Z - quick email exchange, flexible appointments to survey and measure and installation well ahead of the lead time. On the day of the installation, the team arrived on time, were very polite and respectful of the property. I am not easy to impress, but the attention to detail is the best asset with this company. The doors were just like I wanted them. Trims, caulk/silicone absolutely perfect. And what’s also important - great aftercare. There were very minor issues post installation that were resolved timely and with no fuss at all. Highly recommend this company

Carmine who'll do your inspection and site visit is a technician and installer himself. The reason why I'd recommend them is because he's incredibly sharp on looking for and accounting for the things which could cause a problem later on. This is where the skill lies. You can only do that successfully with experience. But as it's his family business it was abundantly clear that it's a point of personal pride to make sure each job is going to withstand the test of time. You absolutely need someone like this if you want to avoid any problems in the future.
Had all of my windows and front door replaced by this guys back in July 2023. Great service. Top professionals. I’ve just had two bay windows replaced (lounge and first floor bedroom). The whole experience has been superb. Carmine explained in detail all the features of the windows, was happy to arrange building control visits (I wanted to get a FENSA certificate) and quoted a very fair price, which he left me in peace to consider and decide on. No chasing phone calls, such as you get with the national companies, offering discounts ‘if you order now’. The fitters were efficient, knowledgeable and very clean workers, so much so that I had planned to hoover the lounge at the end of the first day but this turned out to be unnecessary! Do give this company a chance if you want replacement windows and please don’t be put off by the fact that their price will be significantly lower than any quoted by a national company. They are a family based-business with a flat structure and very low overheads and that is how they compete – not by cutting corners. I cannot recommend them strongly enough and they will be my first choice for any further replacements.
I’m extremely fussy and don’t mind admitting it. These are an absolutely amazing company. I was expecting to need fillers after having my windows taken out and new ones put in, but what a lovely job they did, no mess, on-time great value and Giles so helpful, patient and polite. I picked them from their reviews, well I can say that they certainly live up to them, amazing. I would definitely recommend and use again. 5*

where do i start? first off job assessed and was impressed by Carmines technical knowledge and kindly manner.....these guys do the job with little overheads and purported to do an excellent refitting of 2 d/glazed A rated doors and repair of blown triple glass panel using quality glass and liniar units at a great price. cannot fault the workmanship ! Giles requires a pay rise for all hes achieved in the manufacture. thanks a million

I would like to thank all of the staff who played their part in achieving an excellent installation of new double glazed doors and windows at our 2 properties in Woolston. The office staff were very thorough with the quotation provided and they ensured that the projects were scheduled and all completed on the promised days. I was given regular updates of the scheduling of the works. They even accommodated some extra works into the programme at short notice. The installation teams were very friendly and professional. They kept the work areas clean and tidy and the standard of installation was excellent. The work was also completed quickly but without any compromise in quality. We will definitely be using their services in the future and would recommend them to others too. Carmine and his team installed a double-height window made up of multiple double-glazed panels with integral French doors in black powder-coated aluminium. The effect is stunning and the work is top quality all round for a very reasonable price. Carmine is excellent to deal with - his communication is clear and concise and his team of installers are very quick and efficient. I would recommend Itchen Glass highly.

When we needed a new front door and a window unit replaced, we asked Itchen Glass to quote for the work, along with two others. We were impressed by their approach and their competitive pricing, so went with them and we were not disappointed. Their communication was fantastic throughout and we ended up with exactly what we wanted, fitted to a high standard. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
After 26 years my wooden stained windows were in definite need of replacement. Itchen Glass were one of four local companies to quote and not only was their quote the lowest, I was won over by the professional but low key sales survey. It took the team two and a half days to replace eleven windows including a bay and patio doors. I am very impressed by the product and the installation. The house looks clean and fresh and my neighbours have been complementing me on how different it looks. In fact my next door neighbour has already booked Itchen to come back in about 8 weeks to completely replace his windows and doors. I would happily recommend this company for both product, installation and communications. A great job!

Brilliant service from start to finish. Giles, Carmine and the team were extremely professional and knowledgeable keeping us updated every step of the way. They helped to recommend what windows looked good as we didn't have a clue, as well as sending us through a few different designs to help us choose. We also had a beautiful front door fitted and it all looks clean and fresh! The fitting team were amazing, friendly and clean, despite our house being a bit difficult. We had new windows and a door fitted by this company all over the house, including 3 bay windows. We are very happy with the quality of our new windows, but even more impressed by the hard-working, cheerful helpfulness of the team. Malcolm, Mason, Ryan and Scott all showed a willingness to do any extra little thing at a minute's notice (even completely stripping out and reassembling a faulty window fitted by another company). Unlike other companies, they didn't charge extra for details such as chrome handles, capping window sills etc. We would be happy to recommend them. Richard & Jackie

Can't rate Itchen Glass and Glazing highly enough. Very professional all round. They responded to my initial enquiry quickly. We agreed which door was best to replace the old wooden garage access door. Giles gave me the info I needed vis phone and email and Carmine came round to take measurements then ultimately fit the door later on. Workmanship to excellent quality with full explanation of all elements and reasons. Also fixed a misted pane in the house. Carmine even went the extra mile and helped fix an alignment issue I had with the patio door for free! I seriously couldn't ask for more and would not hesitate to recommend them!

Had 3 windows fixed as they had condensated on the inside. They were really quick and friendly, and really reasonably priced. Would use again!
Everything you could want from a local family firm, prompt, efficient and friendly service. Excellent all round. Website was clear as to what they could do, i.e. as a glazing company they also carry out repairs to window frames. Initial reason for contacting them was to replace 3 misted double glazing units, however they also repaired a rubber gasket on another window and a transom window in a conservatory that would not open at no extra charge. On fitting one of the units some of the leadlight strips were out of line, within an hour the fitter had taken it back to their factory to be redone and then fitted it so that everything aligned. Fairly safe to say one would not get this level of service from a national company.
Fantastic company; cannot recommend highly enough. We were doing an extension to a 1920s property and they supplied us with windows in white and anthracite grey for the different parts of the building as well as a door for the new entrance. Extremely fast to respond to queries, they came out to measure up and then had the first windows ready so speedily it was great. The guys were always polite and courteous and nothing was too much bother. A year after completion a window has recently been broken by a flying stone and Carmine was with us within a couple of days to check the damage with the replacement ready shortly after.

Could not recommend Carmine and team enough! Its a big decision spending a lot of money on doors and windows and not something that can be changed easily so important to get it right! They turned up on time to discuss options, measure up and then fit. Nothing was too much trouble and suggestions on layouts has made a huge difference! His team were polite and clean and job was finished to very high standard in some very challenging weather with the absolute minimum of damage when removing old units!! One small issue was addressed straight away and rectified without hesitation and that is all you can ask for. Very impressed with the quality of the materials and the ability to tailor make my new door with extra security features, non of which was a problem for them, and then two very capable installer/fitters turned up as arranged and set to work promptly, they finished the fitting of my new door and side panel very professionally, with real attention to detail, and superb level of finish. Better than any other double glazing products I’ve had fitted over the years. Praise where praise is due!
