Phoned GB Gas as our gas cooker went. Gary visited a really nice genuine and pleasant man. Offered advice we will need a new cooker as it was 15 years old. Gary said he will sort one out for us and obtain a new model and arrange a time to fit. Our hob still works so Gary said it was safe to use in the meantime. Would highly recommend Gary for his outstanding customer service and knowledge.

GB Gas (Gary) a really nice genuine guy, fitted a new Spark Generator which by the way I purchased over One year ago, I was just putting up with the intermittent problem of not sparking and just using a gas lighter, cooker is a Rangemaster Classic 90. Time to fix it, Gary to the rescue, not without a small issue, but he got his head around it and hey presto we’re all good in time for Christmas. Well done and highly recommend his services.
Gary from GB Gas repairs was an absolute pleasure to deal with. After we diagnosed gas leaks from 2 oven thermostat taps on our (pretty old) Rangemaster 5331, we were told by multiple repair companies (including Rangemaster specialist) that the oven was beyond repair as the parts unavailable. After finding a supplier that stocked the parts, I spoke with Gary and he confirmed he could fit them, reconnect the oven, and retest for leaks - all for a very reasonable fixed price. 48 hours after I got the parts delivered, Gary attended and sorted everything out. As the parts were not original, Gary also had to make some minor modifications to make the set up work safely and correctly. He kept me informed throughout, his quality of work was excellent, and his promise of after care was also very reassuring. My old Rangemaster now works like a new oven (hotter and better balanced), which is amazing as other repair companies advised me I would have to scrap it! I cannot recommend GB Gas Cooker and Oven repairs highly enough.
Gary saved Thanksgiving dinner! Gas oven wouldn’t stay lit. I contacted him late one night and he fixed it the next day. Fair pricing, friendly and professional, and he clearly explained what was wrong and how he fixed it. I’ll absolutely call him again if I ever need a gas engineer. Faultless service! Gary a) answered the phone the very first time I called b). The problem with our gas oven was diagnosed over the phone and the parts were ordered and c) He came out when he said he would! He also gave me some advice for future cleaning and was pleasant and tidy throughout. Had a problem with the grill ignition, explained the situation over the phone to the engineer. He suggested I try something which worked so was very helpful and didn't need to call him out. Which was very good of him. So will definitely use again if I have any further issues.

Following cleaning our gas cooker, we had problems with our oven/grill. After a quick phone coversation he diagnosed the probable issue, which was to just dry out the cooker using the main oven. This worked and we couldn't be happier with the service and free advice we were given. I couldn't recommend this company more highly.
Gary was excellent - we had an issue with one of the buttons for our hob and unlike several other engineers we'd contacted actually came out to have a look and work out what part was needed. Responded really quickly every time I messaged him and was very kind in not charging us when (literally hours after he ordered the necessary part) our problem fixed itself! Would absolutely use him again if we ever have any issues.

Gary was very friendly and pleasant, and clearly knows his stuff. He got a part which in the end we didn't need, but was happy to send it back. Sorted it in less time than expected and adjusted the price accordingly. Definitely recommend.
I would really recommend this company, Gary, the fitter came to replace a thermal couple in my top oven which had not worked for years. He was really extremely polite and professional. About 1 month later the thermal couple stopped working again, and Gary came out and replaced the thermocouple again ( this time free of charge) and with all the usually professionalism as the first time he came. It took a few weeks for this to be done but that said I was very pleased with the service I received by this company and would highly recommend them for anyone else. Satisfied customer Reg
Hello everyone just want to say Gary is one of the best handyman I ever come across for weeks my gas cooker was playing up but last two days we couldn't cook at all just take aways microwave food as Asian we use cooker at least 2 times a day or more I been phoning around then I came across Gary he asked me to send pictures of my cooker within seconds he knew what was wrong and I fixed it under his instructions and my stove works fine thank you so much I have saved your number for future trouble we have

Great service-Gary has been a pleasure to deal with from initial contact to repair. When my elderly father’s oven broke down Gary diagnosed the fault immediately over the telephone, told us where to obtain serial no. to enable him to order the correct part and fitted it promptly, taking the time to explain what he was doing to my father - no mean feat as he’s virtually deaf! Cooker working like new again with minimum of effort, wait and fuss at a fair price. A thoroughly professional, likeable guy, nothing was too much trouble for Gary and can’t recommend him highly enough.

Gary is a great guy. Very kind and polite. He did a great job of fixing our new cooker so we invited him back for other jobs too. He's kept busy by his customers but is well worth any wait. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Gary has just repaired our LPG gas cooker and we are so grateful for the good work he has done as trying to find a reliable LPG registered repairer has been so difficult. I would just like to thank the gentleman I spoke to this morning about my gas cooker the gas was not coming through the hob he talked me through opening and closing the safety lid and wow he go it work what a fabulous man and I would certainly recommend him and I will certainly contact him again if I need to well donev
I don't leave negative reviews as a rule – I generally don't bother if I've had poor service. However this time it's warranted. I made initial contact with this company regarding a gas oven repair on 14th October and didn't even get a response until 7 days later. There then followed an exchange of texts over 5 days regarding parts availability etc and a callout was agreed. This took place on 28th October and lasted 5 minutes. The extent of the diagnosis was for us to buy an oven thermometer to check to temperature - which we did. With our findings from 1st November we sent texts (ignored) made phone calls (unanswered) and finally got a commitment to order parts and arrange a callout on 11th November. Since then nothing. By 18th November having had enough and deciding to give up on all of this we went to one of the national repair lines and got a callout and repair within 48 hours. We try to do our best by local small businesses – using them wherever possible – but I'm afraid this is exactly the kind of experience that drives homeowners into the willing hands of big national companies. Sadly we've had far too many experiences like this in recent times even when using allegedly vetted and reviewed traders. This was a particularly depressing experience but not unique.

Called GB Gas Cooker Repairs on a Friday afternoon, answer machine message said I would be put through to an operator and to give my name and a contact number. Spoke to the operator and they said my number would be passed on and someone would ring me back. Didn't hear anything so I called again Monday morning and again was put through to an operator who again informed me my number would be passed on and someone would call me back. I am still waiting for the call!!
Gary came to fix our Double gas cooker .He was a very nice man who knew what he was doing .Very efficient and quick .Will definitely use again.
