Thermacool Ltd

I recently had air conditioning installed in my home by James and his Thermacool team, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the very first conversation, James provided clear, honest, and knowledgeable advice that helped me choose the right solution for my home. His professionalism stood out immediately — nothing was rushed, everything was explained, and he genuinely cared about getting the best result for me.On installation day, the team were punctual, respectful, and incredibly tidy. They worked efficiently, kept disruption to a minimum, and left the space spotless once the job was done. It’s rare to find tradespeople who combine skill, courtesy, and attention to detail at this level. The final installation looks fantastic and works perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with the service and would confidently recommend James and Thermacool to anyone looking for a reliable, professional air‑conditioning solution.

We had James and the team install air conditioning at our house and we’re really pleased with how it turned out. They fitted a Panasonic mini VRV-style system with concealed ducted units and plaster-in grilles, which has given the rooms a really clean finish. They also installed a separate split system for the kitchen. It was a challenging install, with the services running from the house to the outdoor units and ducted underground, but the team handled it really well. They were productive, clearly knew what they were doing, and nothing seemed to faze them. Everything looks neat, works well, and the end result is exactly what we were hoping for. No complaints at all and I’d happily recommend them.

I recommend James any day of the week. The work that is done is unbelievable and efficient. Work is done to to my satisfaction and appreciate the care for my property

James and his team were very friendly, helpful, and quickly and efficiently installed our aircon system. A range of options and solutions were presented to find the best option for our home, and we are very happy with the result. Thank you again!

I recently had an air conditioning unit fitted at my mum’s house and the service was excellent from start to finish. The team were professional, tidy and polite, and the installation was completed to a very high standard with neat pipework and minimal disruption. The new air con unit works perfectly and has made a big difference to the comfort of the room. I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for reliable home air conditioning installation.

I used Thermacool to supply and install my air-conditioning at home. They discussed all the options for my slightly awkward property layout and came up with a good plan. Installation was smooth and everything works brilliantly. We were very lucky to have it finished just in time for the record breaking May heatwave.

Excellent service from Thermacool, emailed them on a bank holiday and James came out the following Sunday to repair an AC unit. Very professional, and neat workmanship and also a great price too, even offering discount on the work. Would definitely recommend for any aircon or related work in the area!

Installation of air conditioning in four rooms. Work done very professionally and exactly what we wanted. Turned up on time, all work done to a high standard and left very neat and tidy. A good job done by James and his team.

We recently used Thermacool for an installation at our new home and have been very impressed so far. We actually met James around 7 years ago but chose a cheaper installer at the time — something we later regretted due to poorer finish and ongoing faults. This time, despite a more complex setup, James was confident, knowledgeable, and offered great suggestions. The installation is neat, tidy, and everything is working well so far (even if it’s a bit early in the year to fully test!). From past experience, we know how important aftercare is, and we feel much more confident with Thermacool. We’re also hoping to get James back in the future to sort our garden room once that’s ready. Highly recommended.

James was fantastic! He installed my new AC units quickly and professionally, and the whole process was stress free. Everything works perfectly, and he left the place spotless. Couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Thermacool to anyone needing AC work.

Outstanding service from James and his team. Quick, efficient and professional. Would highly recommend.

Great communication throughout, the work was done to a high standard and James made sure to leave the property spotless. Would definitely use their services again.

James and his team did an excellent job installing a complete air conditioning system for my property. They were punctual, polite and cleaned up at the end of each day. I am very happy with the job and would thoroughly recommend them.

Had an amazing experience with James and his team! They installed an AC unit for me and honestly made the whole process so easy. They were super efficient, really friendly and you could tell they actually cared about doing a great job. James was upfront and honest from the start, no messing around and the team was reliable every step of the way. They even went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and left everything spotless. Can’t recommend them enough. if you need AC work done, these are the people to call!

James and his team did a fantastic job, easy to work with, plan and sensible advise with no jargon- fitting was top quality, the unit and heat pump is fantastic! Highly recommended! Phil

Had split system AC units installed for 3 rooms including loft. James was prompt in visiting the property, answering any queries and providing a competitive quote. Having accepted the quote, communication for the expected works was very good and James was always patient, friendly and showed great flexibility re-scheduling the work as my own building works overran. In the end, installation was completed quickly and neatly without any fuss. Thermacool provides a professional and reliable service and I would highly recommend them.

James was brilliant. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The unit was being put in when we were undertaking a major renovation. First of all, he advised us well on the type of unit, then communicated with our builders at each stage, so they would have everything in place for him. He worked around the best times to install and finished the job well.

James and his team did a fantastic job of installing air conditioning into two areas of our property. He made sure we were clear of the progress throughout the job and checked in with us following the installation to make sure we were satisfied. We would thoroughly recommend Thermacool Ltd for air conditioning installation.

Great company, polite and respectful, they worked around our busy family home causing no inconvenience to us, quality of work was great as well as great follow up ensuring all was still working as expected. Fully recommended them and have already passed their number on to friends who want air conditioning fitted. 5 stars!

I knew air conditioning for two loft bedrooms in an old Victorian house would be no easy task. However, James arrived to quote and I was struck by his confidence and professionalism. By the time he left I was pretty sure he was the man for the job. I received the quote via email within a few days - an on-line system - very efficient. Once accepted and a start date agreed James and his very able mate Ptol arrived on time and set about the work. They worked long and hard doing a 10 hour day and were neat, tidy and very courteous. I am delighted with the end result - after just two days it was complete - no fuss, no mess, neat as a pin. These guys are good.

Exceptional! Stop your research this is the company to go with for all of your home Air Con needs. Quality work carried out according to the planned schedule. Completed ahead of time. I followed his advice on what AC we should have installed and works as intended. Pricing was very reasonable. James and his team were professional in all practises from time management, communication, cleanliness and carrying out the work. We have personally recommended Thermacool LTD to a few people locally. One of which is already booked in for Air Con install. For the first time ever I have met trades men who didn't ask for nor accepted tea and coffee when offered. Incredible!

Thermacool fixed our underfloor heating which had never worked since it was installed 5 yrs ago. They sorted the problem straight away, were prompt and professional. I would recommend them and would definitely use them again.

James and team fixed a fault we had with our Aircon system. They managed to get parts through the warranty which saved us from a really big bill. We'd also had some less than good work done by the original installer which they put right for us. Overall we were really impressed with how professional James and team were and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to close friends and family.

James and his colleague came round to install a couple of Panasonic AC units in a bedroom and living room. Job completed all on time, and with a reasonable price. I was really impressed with the external finish, they did a fantastic job with the trunking matching the guttering, with the install looking really neat and tidy - Thermacool putting the local Uxbridge installer to shame! It looks MILES better than the neighbours. Took the time to walk through how the unit worked, and left the place absolutely immaculate.

James is an expert at his trade and showcased an impressive amount of knowledge. He and his crew worked meticulously to install 3 AC units in our house and we're very pleased with the result. Communication was fantastic and James was willing to answer any and all questions that we had. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent quote process. James was really thorough and happy to answer questions. The online quote also serves as the location for all correspondence both ways, which is a great idea, keeping it all in one place. The workmanship couldn’t have been better, and the installation was very neat. They went to great lengths to minimise mess.

Very impressed with James and his team. They installed three internal AC units and an external AC unit in two days. Their work is of the highest standard and competitively priced. They arrived early both days and left absolutely no dust, dirt or rubbish. Highly recommended.

Plumbing ? Heating ? Don’t use anyone else! After a few boiler-related difficulties over the years , when I needed to replace our boiler we determined to find a good local firm to do the work . With the help of recommendation and online reviews. I decided to give this guys a call . And I am very Glad I did . James and his team understood our needs and explained the process very well . He was very responsive and organised , so we always knew what was happening . This guys were professional, polite and clean . Everything that needed explaining was explained well. They are a credit to themselves and an example to others . I would recommend them to anyone . Very happy costumer and will be using them again for my salon

Quite happy to recommend these guys. Very friendly and helpful.

After seeing such customer high ratings on google engaged with Thermacool. I very recently ordered a wall mounted and 2 ducted Panasonic units through he director, who was then elusive over the days following the order. My builders were putting pressure on me to have the air conditioning sorted before our property moved to the next phase of development. A week before our deadline I got a text message from the director saying he was dropping my job (£6k) for a bigger job he had just secured, and apologised for the "poor communication"! Thank you Thermacool for dropping me in it and making my order feel worthless.

Excellent team of workers, extremely trustworthy , I would not hesitate to recommend them

James was quick to respond to my request for a quotation. Price and equipment was agreed. The guys turned up when they were supposed to, the job took as long as was originally quoted. No hidden extras. Very polite and courteous team who went out of their way to respect our property. Everything was double checked with us before fixing etc. Good clear explanation of how the system worked, they left the house nice and tidy. Absolutely top job.

Excellent service and delivery. I would highly recommend Thermacool.

An excellent experience from James and his team. We have used them twice for emergencies and James was quick to respond and get a team out to fix the problems. We would absolutely use them again and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Thermacool were recommended to us by our builder. From quote to installation, we were extremely happy, and the team worked around our builder to minimise disruptions. We are very happy with our air conditioning, and the aftercare has been amazing! We would highly recommend James and his team. Thank you for a great service

Tidy, reliable, courteous and work fitted and finished to a very good standard.

James and his team were all extremely knowledgeable and confident workers. Very polite and never a minute late. The guys all cleaned up after themselves and left all works completed presentable. Would highly recommend them.

Quick, Clean, excellent workmanship, good value form money. What more do you want?

I initially contacted James Cretella of Thermacool on recommendation of a trusted Gas installer we have known for a number of years as I wanted to install a split aircon system to one of our upstairs bedrooms and needed someone with the appropriate F-Gas qualifications. Thermacool are based in Shepperton and I am in Coulsdon and after I spoke to James it was clear that visiting me to give an estimate would not be a problem. We arranged a date and time and despite poor weather and traffic conditions James arrived within 15 mins of the agreed time. A specification of the type and size of machine and method of installation was agreed and within 24 hrs I received a written quotation by email. I accepted the quotation and a date was made for installation. Come the day Dan and Rich, part of James team arrived. Immediately work commenced. Clean and tidy is the only way to describe their method. Despite drilling through a cavity wall we found no trace of brick dust or soil anywhere. Outside the installation is run through a very heavy duty conduit that looks incredibly neat and the main machine is securely mounted on shock absorbent mounts. We have run through the various programmes and can confirm that the machine performs exactly as we hoped. Overall I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Thermacool to anyone that will appreciate a quality install at competitive pricing. Mike T (Coulsdon,Surrey)

Having Thermacool install a comprehensive air-conditioning system in my family home in Weybridge was an exceptionally positive overall experience. Communication with the company during the initial tender process was very clear and efficient, their pricing was very competitive and their advice in selecting the correct equipment configuration was very helpful indeed. The job was finished on time and on budget, the team was highly experienced and hard-working with craftsmanship of their work being second to none, while also being very polite and respectful to my family members. The system is up and running now; I am very happy with hiring Thermacool for my project and would highly recommended the company.

Thermacool were recommended to me by my brother who was pleased with their work. I am also very pleased with their work. They have installed 5 indoor a/c units and an outdoor unit. The indoor units look great. Communication with James was good. His team were polite and professional and turned up when expected. Their work was neat and they left my home tidy. I am happy that I chose Thermacool and would use them again in the future.

James and his Thermacool team came highly recommended by a very high-end cabinet maker whom we trust and who has worked previously with Thermacool. Consequently we were confident that we would get high quality work. This we did, but equally importantly we were very happy to have James and his crew working in our home. They treated it with respect and went to great efforts to minimise dust and disruption. When they left each evening everything was left neat, tidy and clean. They were also all nice guys, who we were happy to leave in our home when we were not there. Highly recommended.

Thermacool are AMAZING! Polite, professional and genuinely nice people. They worked tirelessly to complete our Air Conditioning installation with as little disruption as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend James and his team to anyone, please contact Thermacool you would not be disappointed. A good team to have in your home. Thank you James and your amazing team.

Thermalcool were a joy to work with. Very trustworthy, straightforward, and with high standards. I have had a lot of building work done in the past and I would recommend Thermacool above all others I have worked with. The quality of the tradesmen employed was excellent. I could relax and let them get on with it. The finish was superb. We are very pleased! We had three high end bathrooms done at our home, with complex electrics/ lights and a mixture of bespoke and factory built furniture. A beautiful finish, large tiles precisely laid, everything in its place, in line and on a level. Very well done. We are enjoying he new spaces very much. Thank you Thermacool.

Notting Hill project finished with James and the Thermacool team, Its a pleasure to work with a professional team and look forward to more projects in the coming year.

Can’t recommend Thermacool enough, James is very knowledgeable. James and the team were on time everyday and kept me fully updated throughout the work they did. We can’t thank you enough for our new bathroom.

Cannot praise this team enough, Real hard workers who are not only professional, but go the extra mile. They installed a new boiler and updated our controls for a very efficient new heating system! We won't hesitate to recommend James and the team to friends or family!

James and team at Thermacool were recommended to us and proved to be one of the trades we’d happily recommend to friends. We completed a significant gut job, replacing all piping and hot water/heating system in a 6 bed house. Thermacool team always very professional, a pleasure to have around the house and importantly completed the job on time and to a high level of quality. Any and all changes to scope were always agreed and prices up front which ensured no bad surprises. James personal professionalism and dedication to carry out a very thorough job means that we plan to continue to use Thermacool in the future and would happily recommend to others.

Brilliant job, attention to detail and level of fit and finish are simply superb. Their was great attention to detail and how the finished unit functioned properly. I would recommend Thermacool to anyone planning future work. Trustworthy, tidy and very competent.

James and his team did an excellent job, very neat and no mess. Quote was very competitive as well.

Found Thermacool via Instagram and they really looked like they knew what they were doing. So I asked them to come and quote for the installation of a new boiler and also an air conditioning unit in our outbulding/office. Both jobs were completed with the minimum of fuss and the guys made a prompt start each morning and left everything clean and tidy when they left. Both the air-con and new boiler work really well. Highly recommend Thermacool.

Professional company with great comms. All staff Thermacool that worked at our house were polite, friendly and trustworthy which was very important for me with my wife and young kids being at home. James attended a number of prior visits during my house extension build to listen to my requirements and give useful advice. The quote supplied to fit 6 multi room air conditioning units was competitive and the final bill matched. Their workmanship was very good and they cleaned up after themselves. Overall we are very happy with the service, we would highly recommend. Thank you.

Very professional, the job was well done and the guys were lovely. Would happily recommend again :)

Very efficient and professional .

Did what they said they would, on time and on budget, would definitely recommend !

On time and on price agreed.

Great quality, great communication and great price. Recommended.

Pipework moved, new rads. “I used Thermacool to move some pipework to the boiler when I had a new door way put in and some new rads installed. They arrived on time and carried out the work in the time frame quoted. They were extremely tidy and cleared up and mess made. Extremely happy with the price paid.”

James and his team sorted out the plumbing for our kitchen renovation, including under floor heating, and have recently repaired a shower. Always swift and reliable service and I would certainly recommend them.

The Thermacool team are very friendly and professional, providing an efficient service. The cold water tap had stopped working on our bath and the team were able to replace the taps the same day. Highly recommend.

James and his team did a first class job - arrived at 8am and worked till 18:30 to get the air-con units working - then returned 8am the next day to finish off and tidy up. We had 3 local quotes and Thermacool came out on top. So good value and a great job. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or to use them again.
