We had James and the team install air conditioning at our house and we’re really pleased with how it turned out. They fitted a Panasonic mini VRV-style system with concealed ducted units and plaster-in grilles, which has given the rooms a really clean finish. They also installed a separate split system for the kitchen. It was a challenging install, with the services running from the house to the outdoor units and ducted underground, but the team handled it really well. They were productive, clearly knew what they were doing, and nothing seemed to faze them. Everything looks neat, works well, and the end result is exactly what we were hoping for. No complaints at all and I’d happily recommend them.

We recently used Thermacool for an installation at our new home and have been very impressed so far. We actually met James around 7 years ago but chose a cheaper installer at the time — something we later regretted due to poorer finish and ongoing faults. This time, despite a more complex setup, James was confident, knowledgeable, and offered great suggestions. The installation is neat, tidy, and everything is working well so far (even if it’s a bit early in the year to fully test!). From past experience, we know how important aftercare is, and we feel much more confident with Thermacool. We’re also hoping to get James back in the future to sort our garden room once that’s ready. Highly recommended.

Had split system AC units installed for 3 rooms including loft. James was prompt in visiting the property, answering any queries and providing a competitive quote. Having accepted the quote, communication for the expected works was very good and James was always patient, friendly and showed great flexibility re-scheduling the work as my own building works overran. I knew air conditioning for two loft bedrooms in an old Victorian house would be no easy task. However, James arrived to quote and I was struck by his confidence and professionalism. By the time he left I was pretty sure he was the man for the job. I received the quote via email within a few days - an on-line system - very efficient. Once accepted and a start date agreed James and his very able mate Ptol arrived on time and set about the work. They worked long and hard doing a 10 hour day and were neat, tidy and very courteous. I am delighted with the end result - after just two days it was complete - no fuss, no mess, neat as a pin. These guys are good.

Thermacool fixed our underfloor heating which had never worked since it was installed 5 yrs ago. They sorted the problem straight away, were prompt and professional. I would recommend them and would definitely use them again.

We'd also had some less than good work done by the original installer which they put right for us. I was really impressed with the external finish, they did a fantastic job with the trunking matching the guttering, with the install looking really neat and tidy - Thermacool putting the local Uxbridge installer to shame! It looks MILES better than the neighbours. Took the time to walk through how the unit worked, and left the place absolutely immaculate.

Plumbing ? Heating ? Don’t use anyone else! After a few boiler-related difficulties over the years , when I needed to replace our boiler we determined to find a good local firm to do the work . With the help of recommendation and online reviews. I decided to give this guys a call . And I am very Glad I did . James and his team understood our needs and explained the process very well . He was very responsive and organised , so we always knew what was happening . This guys were professional, polite and clean . Everything that needed explaining was explained well. After seeing such customer high ratings on google engaged with Thermacool. I very recently ordered a wall mounted and 2 ducted Panasonic units through he director, who was then elusive over the days following the order. My builders were putting pressure on me to have the air conditioning sorted before our property moved to the next phase of development. A week before our deadline I got a text message from the director saying he was dropping my job (£6k) for a bigger job he had just secured, and apologised for the "poor communication"! Thank you Thermacool for dropping me in it and making my order feel worthless.

I initially contacted James Cretella of Thermacool on recommendation of a trusted Gas installer we have known for a number of years as I wanted to install a split aircon system to one of our upstairs bedrooms and needed someone with the appropriate F-Gas qualifications. Thermacool are based in Shepperton and I am in Coulsdon and after I spoke to James it was clear that visiting me to give an estimate would not be a problem. We arranged a date and time and despite poor weather and traffic conditions James arrived within 15 mins of the agreed time. A specification of the type and size of machine and method of installation was agreed and within 24 hrs I received a written quotation by email. I accepted the quotation and a date was made for installation. Come the day Dan and Rich, part of James team arrived. Immediately work commenced. Clean and tidy is the only way to describe their method. Despite drilling through a cavity wall we found no trace of brick dust or soil anywhere. Outside the installation is run through a very heavy duty conduit that looks incredibly neat and the main machine is securely mounted on shock absorbent mounts. We have run through the various programmes and can confirm that the machine performs exactly as we hoped. Overall I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Thermacool to anyone that will appreciate a quality install at competitive pricing. Mike T (Coulsdon,Surrey)

Pipework moved, new rads. “I used Thermacool to move some pipework to the boiler when I had a new door way put in and some new rads installed. They arrived on time and carried out the work in the time frame quoted. They were extremely tidy and cleared up and mess made. Extremely happy with the price paid.”
