Saxon Roofing

Excellent work by John and his team quick response and quick to deliver the work needed would recommend highly as they saved me money by being recommended.

Had some work done recently by Saxon roofing. John (the owner) came round and gave a thorough assessment and as a new homeowner I appreciated the advice. I had an idea of what was needed, which was priced up with transparency and without upselling. Ste and the crew were round within a few days to do the job. They were respectful, hardworking and showed evidence of the work and answered all my questions. Would recommend!

I had my roof replaced recently by Saxon roofing and I would highly recommend the company for any roof work . John is a very honest man , explained in details all the work he is going to do , his company is also approved by which ? . The whole job was done brilliantly and in no time and at a very reasonable cost . The company also provide warranty on the work .

John and his team come out the same day to give me a quote. They were reassuring and honest. I had received other quotes but felt John was fair and his team seemed very experienced. I had a quote regarding insulating my lost where the man scared me with details of how I urgently needed stuff doing. I spoke to John who came round that night, went into the loft (with a bad back) and reassured me that my roof was sound and identified the other party was trying to rip me off! I have no hesitation in recommending John and his team who are personable and professional.

Pre sale roof inspection plus works. John and his team turned up at very short notice to look at a small leak I had in the bathroom. Very friendly and courteous. Not only did they sort the leak very quickly but as I'm aiming to move this year, they prepared a pre-sale roof inspection report which was of a very high standard and a reasonable price. Would recommend.

The boys did well and informative thanks

Saxon Roofing came to fix our leaking gutter and outrigger roof. They were able to come and complete the work within the week, and the work looks great. They were very communicative throughout and generally lovely. Super friendly. I highly recommend them!

The lads at Saxon Roofing came and sorted my leaky flat bay roof quickly and with no fuss. I'd already tried with another roofer who unfortunately couldn't sort it, but these guys confidently explained the issue and made sure that I was happy with the outcome after they'd finished their work. Price seemed reasonable to me. Good to support a local business and I'd recommend them to others.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ John and his team did an amazing job on our roof! We’re so pleased with the result and would highly recommend Saxon Roofing to everyone. Excellent, honest workers, great price, and extremely tidy — thank you for a fantastic job!

Saxon Roofing were great. They came out quickly to help with our issue and did a good job sorting it. They also kindly fixed another issue for us while they were there. Efficient and helpful.

I called for a quote and John came to visit me that day, the quote was very reasonable compared to other companies and John and his team managed to complete the work the next day. Friendly team and great communication, highly recommend, thank you 🙏

Recently bought first property. Saxon Roofing were quick to come over and provide quotation for both roof and guttering work. They were open, honest and provided a very reasonable price. Came within days to complete work efficiently and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend 🙂

I wanted my gutters, facias and soffits replacing. John the owner arranged to meet with me to discuss the work and type of materials used. Following the visit I received my quote and agreed for the works to be undertaken. Johns team arrived on time each day and worked full days removing the existing systems and replacing them. They pointed out some defects on the ridge and valleys that I agreed to them addressing for an additional sum. The quality of the work and fair price was echoed by the teams diligence and desire to complete the job. I am very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend Saxon Roofing Ltd to undertake all aspects of roofing work. 100% satisfied customer!

Second time John has work in our house. Excellent communication . Job quoted and performed quickly . Photos provided for quote and on completion . Highly recommend John at Saxon roofing

Done a great job! Received a quote which we were happy with, came the next day and finished the work with no issues! Great work, would recommend!!

Had Saxon roofing out a couple of times now and they have done a great job both times! I would highly recommend using them as they are friendly, professional and get the job done! And most importantly don’t scam you into thinking you need a new roof

John at Saxon Roofing was extremely helpful when I phoned to ask for a quote to repair my Garage roof. The roof was assessed and repaired within 24 hours and I am very pleased with the repairs carried out. I found the lads who carried out the work efficient and very professional. I was given the opportunity to check the work done before I handed over payment. Would highly recommend. Nick

John and his guys were great, really professional and efficient and took good care. Had a leak in my roof from the recent storm but three roofers couldn’t find the problem and resorted to telling me I needed a whole new roof. John’s guys turned up and diagnosed the problem with the flashing immediately and fixed it there and then. No leaks since. I can’t comment on whether Saxon is expensive compared to others like-for-like but they felt trustworthy and didn’t try to push a new roof on me when that wasn’t the issue - this is priceless in my opinion!

Contacted Saxon to have a look at some storm damage. They were able to attend next day to assess what was needed. I was happy with the quote and work was done next day. Great experience from Saxon, work completed quickly to a high standard. Will use them again.

After the recent storm I was really upset when my insurers said that the tiles that had come off my roof weren’t caused by the bad weather. I called Saxon and they came out in a few hours, fixed the roof and charged about half of what my excess payment would have been! Great, prompt, reasonably priced work and pleasant people. I will definitely call them again if I have any further problems with my roof.

Saxon roofing were immediately able to diagnose that a small leak was coming through the chimney stack. Quote was reasonable, costs did not overrun, and work was completed very promptly and professionally. Very happy to recommend.

25/11/24. I initially contacted John for a quote on two jobs. John offered some suggestions on simplifying the work and we agreed on a front elevation porch. I needed to complete some electrical work to allow the job to start but I struggled to get the work done in a timely manner. John was very patient and just moved the starting date. When I eventually got the work completed John started his work within three days. His team arrived on time, introduced themselves and explained the expected timeline. The job took four days to complete and at the end of the days his team cleaned everything away leaving everything spotless. The standard of work is excellent and we are so pleased with the finished work we’ve already received positive comments from our neighbours. I would recommend John and his team without hesitation.

We got some chimney and roof work done around a year ago. The quote was a little expensive but we were impressed by how quickly saxon turned up and how thorough the quote was. They didn't spend much time on the job for the money it cost and didn't provide any photos to show what had been done. We still have a leak from the original problem but there has been no effort to come round to fix this despite me contacting them a few times. Recently had R.Evans roofing round who were much better and spotted what had been missed by saxon. Please avoid and use R.Evans instead.

Work completed in a timely manner, undertaking it to a high standard, leaving our property in a clean and tidy state, and for being very polite whilst on site. Would use again (but hopefully won't need to!)

23 May 2024, late afternoon, I rang them. Following day 9.45 am they arrived, surveyed and photographed gutters, valleys, tiles, and some pebble-dashing. 11.00 am offered an estimate. I accepted. All repairs and clean-up finished by 4 pm; no more leaks! Excellent work, no blaring radio. Thank you.

Excellent service. They won't let you down.

Got my garage roof replaced yesterday, found the workers polite and very helpful. They did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. They were also very efficient with their work.

Excellent work from John and his team replacing my old gutter all round. Very efficient and highly recommended! Job well done!

We recently got a new roof and were very impressed by the services we received. John kept us well informed throughout the process and we're very happy with the results

My go-to for any roofing or gutter issues: fast, friendly and efficient; professional from start to finish; reasonable prices. Thanks John. Will certainly be passing on your number if anybody asks.

Rang this morning and they came out within two hours and clipped my gutter back on and didn't even charge me Thanks

John gives really good advice. Dont use anybody else for my very old roof problems.

Call out for a leak repair, fixed issue same day. Excellent service.

Cleaned my gutters and did some running repairs. John and the lads did the job efficiently and professionally, explained everything very well 👍🏻

Roof leak in L15 area fixed within an hour on a weekend. Great service from John and his experienced, friendly team.

John was able to respond immediately to a roof leak. I received a professional service and all the work was guaranteed. Would highly recommend

Just had my front bay roof re-felted by Saxon Roofing. Quick and professional response. Quality workmanship. Much appreciated.

Rapid response from the lads to fix an emergency leak. Already recommended them to two members of friends/family.

I called Saxon Roofing after heavy rain caused a leak in my living room. They responded quickly, identified the issue and fixed it to a very high standard. A friendly, professional team delivering high quality services. Highly recommended.

Have called Saxon twice to deal with 2 roof leaks (different ones!) Very helpful and efficient, and seem good value for money; the only downside was them explaining how I'd potentially been ripped off in the past! Lesson learnt, will call these with any problems in future

Contacted John through his website yesterday about lunchtime to see if he was available to give a quote for a job, expecting it to be a few days. He came round in the afternoon and was round this afternoon to do the job. Price was very reasonable. If anyone asks if I know a roofer I will for sure be recommending John and his team

Absolutely 5 star company in all respects .We had water dripping from a bedroom ceiling after heavy rainfall. This was a long standing problem that several other companies had failed to remedy. John and his team managed to identify the problem and make the necessary repair what a relief!

Love Saxon roofing they came out and fixed a leak that no one else could. I got half my roof done, other half is at the end of this year when I've saved up. John and the guys were lovely even though they were working in freezing temperatures with snow on the roof. They cleaned everywhere up after themselves. Would highly recommend

After discovering a leak in our bay window, we looked for different companies and found Saxon very well recommended. They came out promptly to examine our roof and provided us with detailed information on the condition and provided us with quotes for their services. Despite bad weather delaying the repairs, Saxon came out as soon as the weather cleared up and repaired our roof and gutters. Great service, even better that they’re a local company!

Fantastic quick service at a reasonable price

Would highly recommend John from Saxon Roofing Limited. Turned up on time, great service, great communication, great job. would not hesitate to recommend

I have just had my roof cleaned by saxon roofing and im so happy with the results! Its amazing the difference it has made and my roof looks brand new. Fantastic service.

Job well done.quick and efficient and left no mess.

This guy doesn’t returns calls and his work did not receive a good review from the next roofer I had out when on the roof

I had a new roof installed 3 weeks ago in Garston Old road L19 👍 I’ve no hesitation in recommending Saxon Roofing . Excellent work carried out, great team and all done on time. It was a pleasure to have done business with them. Thanks to John and all the lads 👍👍👍

rang Saxon roofing to come and give me a quote for a new roof, the price was cheaper than other companies, I agreed for them to do the roof, they came out and replaced the full roof in just two days (like they said) excellent service, very respected and friendly team would highly recommend for any roof work they go out there own way to help you. Thanks again.

After agreeing to take on a my job and me arranging my holidays around the work, John from Saxon roofing did not follow up. I had one text on the day saying the weather was not very good so then heard no more from him. Very disappointing company and service.

Called John yesterday, came today, gave an honest view of the work required (the less costly option) and had the job done in 90 minutes.

Just called John at Saxon roofing. He was close by and kindly popped in to look at an issue we are having. He gave us great, honest advice and would not take money for the 20 mins he spent with us. Highest quality service. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Also rubbish, asked for a quote on some roof work and never heard back. Look elsewhere.

Rubbish. Asked for a quote on some roof repairs and never got back. Tried 3 or 4 times and nothing. Go for a bigger more reputable firm

Great place to go for a meal and a drink

10 out of 10 very very helpful and professional service as well. Highly recommended.

John and his team carried out extensive repairs to my roof including removal of chimney stack, replacing slates, replacing guttering, repointing and capping chimney pots. He also replaced a small roof to the rear of the property. Highly recommended, reliable and trustworthy. I had a urgent problem with my guttering and he attended the following morning and fixed it within 24 hours!

I have used John and his team a few times now in Liverpool. I am a Landlord of many properties and each time I have needed roofing work done, John and his team have arrived promptly and have undertaken the works in a highly professional manner. The work has always been done within the timeframes stated at the beginning and to a very high standard. I would not hesitate in recommending Saxon roofing to other home owners and Landlords. Paul.

Excellent service from John and his team. Contacted in the morning, arrived after lunch, surveyed and repaired on the same day, for a very reasonable price. I couldn't be happier!

Thank you to John and staff for the massive improvement to our property. Having the roof, fascias and guttering done was definitely the way forward. All the best guys. Pabs and family.
