John Anthony Roofing Limited Also excellent Scaffolding Only just finished so Scaffolding still up

Thank you to John Anthony Roofing company for the excellent work carried out on my roof. I’ve used them before and wouldn’t use any other roofing company. The men who did the work were very pleasant and professional. Thank to Karen in the office for all her help.

Highly recommend!! We had a small drip coming in via our chimney stack, which has been getting worse over the years. David and Rebecca came to give us a quote and quickly diagnosed the issue, arranged a date to replace the flashing around the chimney. Also our tiles had been previously incorrectly installed which was causing a separate damp patch, so we booked them to also fix this, they were able to reuse most of the tiles as the roof was relatively new. Scaffolding was setup and the job completed the next day. Really good job and the roof and chimney look good as new, really happy with the results. They kept us updated throughout the quote and job. Had previously used a different company who weren’t able to fix the issue which lead to the problem getting worse, so happy to finally have this job done, and done so well. Happy to have found a honest reliable company. Thanks again, would always use this company if needed in the future.

I would highly recommend John Anthony Roofing. From start to finish the whole process was seamless. Karen in the office was excellent from getting the evaluation for the job booked in through to arranging the work, she kept us fully informed the whole time. The job took 3 days in total. Day one scaffolding, day two skip arrived early morning and the lads where on site 20 minutes later to start the job. Day three they had completed the job by 3pm. They didn't stop and then work has been completed to a high standard. Everyone on site was really friendly, answered all of my questions and ensured they left my property clean and tidy. I am very pleased and all for a fair price!!

We’re really happy with the roof replacement. The team was fast, professional, and very efficient from start to finish. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes we had, and the work was completed with no issues at all. Everything was done on time and to a high standard. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and affordable roofing work.

Fast, efficient, hard working team, highly recommended!

I would 100% recommend this company. From the beginning to end, John anthony and his amazing team had completed roof with dormer and extension roof. All I had to do is hand the key over and sit back and wait until completed. No job is too big or small for these guys. They are professional, well organised, tidy, and trustworthy. The communication was regular with video updates. John anthony also helped and guided me with other builders that would help with my full house renovation. That in itself shows how much he cares for his customers as he goes above and beyond. Thank you so much. X

Had a new roof fitted and can’t fault any aspect of this Company. From my first phonecall, to set-up, to completion of the job, the whole process was handled professionally, efficiently and with consideration. There was a great bunch of guys on site who worked continuously to get the job done quickly, and they cleaned up each day before they left. Even one of my neighbours stopped me in the street to tell me what great lads they were. I’d have confidence in recommending this Company to anyone looking for roof work to be done. Really great job!

Excellent, prompt service and great communication. Thanks

What an amazing job! John Anthony Roofing were exceptional. Professional, careful and considerate, got the job done quickly to a fabulous standard. The boss came to inspect the job throughout. Scaffolding and waste/skips removed promptly and site cleaned. New roof looks great. Highly recommend this company.

Just wanted to give you some feedback regarding the team replacing the roof opposite us in Brighton-le-Sands. They have been a complete credit to your company from start to finish. Polite, happy, hard working , even the singing made us smile 😃 No bad language or rowdy behaviour, just a group of decent lads seeming to have a great time working together. Our 1 year old son was delighted when they all waved to him too 😄 We will recommend your company to our landlord if ever needed, and to anyone else ever looking for roof related work.

This is the second time I've used John Anthony Roofing. They are in my opinion the best company in all of Merseyside. I have used other roofing companies in the past, many of which just took my money and patched up holes. But John Anthony Roofing gets the job done professionally.

Would recommend John Anthony Roofing no job too small, quick response and repair

Our roof was replaced speedily, the guys were all very pleasant and tidy. we are very happy with the work done and would recommend this firm

Great communication from start to finish. I had new roof put on and it was completed in 3 days! The team were friendly and efficient, I would recommend John Anthony Roofing

Great service, arrived on time each day, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves . Excellent quality job, nice guys - polite and friendly - highly recommended. Thank you. Neil & Joyce James

Great job and great communication. Karen in the office was super helpful. Would recommend!

John Anthony fully replaced our roof, and redid the chimney flashing and flaunching. We're very happy with the work done, and how quickly they completed the job. Of the roofers we had contacted they were the most reasonable pricewise while also giving a good guarantee. Throughout they were very helpful and answered all our questions.

John and the lads from John Anthony roofing have saved the day for me. Following being had off for significant amounts of money by another builder who had left us without a roof in November for 3 weeks, John and his team stepped in to put a roof on our house in the hail and snow. Would give 6 stars if I could. Even my little girls were impressed following send cooffes out on the lads break!

At last, a professional construction and roofing firm in Liverpool! From start to finish, the lads were great. Arrived promptly at 8am and just cracked on, no moaning, just grafted all day. Karen in the office was fab, helped me out with a little snag, and got everything resolved brilliantly. A whole new roof finished in 4 days, scaffolding gone and site tidy. John himself came to check that everything was fine. Will definitely be using these guys again. Can't fault them

Great service from everyone at the company, from answering the phone call to completion of the job- total professionalism and great communication. Needed a leaking felt roof replaced on my bay window and within 3 days I had someone come out and give a very reasonable quote and also had the new felt roof put on. Comes with a 10 year warranty and honestly could not fault a single element from start to finish. Would highly recommend to anyone who has any roofing issues.

A family business. Very professional great communication. Highly recommend . Thanks Connor

Mark and his son were absolute stars. They were able to do a last minute request and get a scaffolding pole over to us in under half hour. Great attitude. Highly recommend.

Fitted a new gutter work spot on . Thanks

I contacted John Anthony Roofing for a quote for a new roof based on their excellent reviews. I spoke to Karen in the office who was very helpful and explained how John and the team worked and was impressed. She arranged for John to call out which he did a few days later. The quote was emailed to us the next day with everything itemised. We asked for the chimney to be repointed and our existing porch roof and this was no problem and the quote was amended and emailed to us the same day. The scaffold was put up and the roof replaced and done within a day and a half. The next day the scaffold was taken down as they have their own scaffolding company. Then the flat roof was replaced above our kitchen. The work carried out was done quickly and efficiently. The guys who did the work were polite and cleaned up after themselves. John was there each day checking how the job was going and was hands on and made sure the skip was removed the morning after the work was completed. The 20 year guarantee for the roof was emailed with the receipt right away. Overall we were very pleased with the work done and how professional John and his team were and would highly recommend them.

I recently had my roof done and chimneys repointed. John Anthony where amazing from start to finish from giving me a quote to getting the job done everyone were great I couldn't fault them one bit. I would definitely recommend this company.

John good lad got me sorted quick with good finish. Will use again on nxt project

I contacted John at John Anthony Roofing about getting a quote for a full new roof on our house. His was by far the best price we were quoted. His team always arrived on time first thing in the morning, were friendly, hardworking and had the whole roof done in just over two days. He even took money off the original quote because the chimney didn't need fully repointing. The new roof looks great and I will definitely be contacting John at his other company John Anthony & Co Construction for future house work. Highly recommend.

Such a shame, contacted them because of reviews, sure enough he came out and used a drone to examine roof, was told a quote would be received within 48 hours, however he was reluctant to view the problems from inside the house. He did look after I invited him and its now 9 days later and no quote ever arrived even after chasing it up a couple of times, giving the benefit of the doubt of being busy. Would appear that they didn't want to do the job, so wasted my time, would of sooner they were honest and upfront.

Was open and honest that they didn't have capacity to fix what was needed on our roof. We were over quoted by a separate firm for an entire new roof, but John Anthony gave us their trusted contact (The skullys) who got the job done fast and for a good price. Appreciate the honesty and trustworthy nature. The fix has now held up through heavy rain and wind.

Great from start to finish. Communication really good and helped advise on various bits throughout the job. Team very professional and courteous - also powered on through some very adverse weather to get the work finished! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

From estimate to super fast job completion, well pleased with quality of work and cost, great team.

Have you ever been let down by companies that say they will call round or do they call round and then you never see them again? If so, then I would recommend using John Anthony because these guys mean business. No messing about at all. Rang me Thursday to say scaffolding was going up Friday with work commencing Tuesday as Monday was a bank holiday. 6 lads on the job 8am nonstop working away. Great business ethos from John, faster a job is done then they can move on to the next without compromising quality. Keep it up mate and you deserve all the business you can get 👍

Fantastic company, Got a fair price even after asking for a few adjustments and being turned away from other companies because the job was too complicated due to a shared roof with a neighbour. Once the work was agreed the whole roof replacement took 2 days.was like clockwork the entire team worked really hard and everything showed up at the correct time. Honestly couldn't recommend enough was genuinely surprised by the level of quality and efficiency of the whole project.

Brilliant service, couldn't ask for better. Came out promptly after first contacting about a flat roof replacement. Quoted a very reasonable price. Great communication too – kept us informed about timeframes when the wet weather was getting in the way of doing the work and were always happy to answer questions & be flexible with what you needed. The crew that came out to do the work were professional and efficient – did a great job of the full replacement in under a day. Couldn't recommend John Anthony any more highly.

Amazing from start to finish. I had a concern about scaffolding on my conservatory, John quickly sorted that out and eased my concerns. Great team, who worked really well even in the rain. Very friendly and respectful of my property. I would definitely recommend, In fact I already have!

I was a bit worried when John Anthony's quote was a fair bit lower than others I had received, but after talking to neighbour who was a happy previous customer, decided to go ahead. Very happy with the work, quickly and efficiently done with excellent communication. They turned up when they said, organised scaffolding and skips and everything ran smoothly. The team were nice, friendly, hard working and cleaned up well after themselves. Highly recommended.

What can I say Highly recommended this company from start to finish, so respectful of my mum and dad’s property. Excellent work. Thankyou John and all your team, If I could give more stars I would

Excellent service, straightforward, honest and reliable. Really pleased with our new roof and completed swiftly with no hassle for our neighbours who were also impressed with how quickly they worked.

Excellent service

Very professional service. Great knowledge and expertise and we were guided through exactly what we needed. There was no telling us that more work needed to be done, instead we were given a guideline on how long the current state of the roof would last. Great communication, work completed in time and at great quality. Would highly recommend. John is a great and genuine guy who is looking to help and give guidance. Brilliant value for money.

New garage roof fitted 2 days after contacting John. Great job by the lads and great service all round

From start to finish, John Antony were professional, and work was of the highest quality. My elderly parents were well looked after by the team who ensured that an emergency repair was carried out, followed by the fitting of a new roof. Can't recommend John Antony Roofing enough.

John recently fixed a leak we had on our roof by the chimney stack. We had 3 quotes including the one from John himself. One was double what John quoted, the other treble. We didn't go with John because he was cheaper - it was simply because he assessed the job correctly. Needles to say the other two didn't. Really happy with the work John's team have carried out. Profesional company and would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone needing a quality roofing company.

New roof replacement and tiled under bay window by John Anthony roofing great workmanship from the lads would highly recommend to any one. Thanks again.

Had a leak coming through the bedroom ceiling. John came out and spotted the problem straight away. The roof is now leak proof. Top quality repair and very professional. Faultless. Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Thoroughly recommended.

John and the team have done an exceptional job on our roof replacement. The team were very efficient, professional and respectful. The roof looks amazing and is great value for money!

Turned up when he said would! Did what he said he would! Charged what he said he would! The team went about their business with no fuss or disruption to us!

A full roof replacement is an investment for years to come, so, it was important to me to find the right company. I had seen and admired work completed by John Anthony Roofing in the local area and began watching the company on social media. Regular posts, reviews, photographs, and videos allowed me to follow their prolific portfolio of roofing work. It was immediately apparent that the company was in high demand, had a strong reputation, paid attention to detail and took pride in their work - everything l was looking for! I booked a free quotation with John, and he spent time discussing my roof in depth. He offered various tiling options, much needed advice, and absolute confidence he could deliver on my vision for the roof. He also provided assurance with a 20 year guarantee. I was happy with my quote and immediately booked John and his team in for the job! Once on site, the roofers grafted and barely stopped. They were always polite, happy to answer my questions and remained respectful of my property throughout. They kept me up to date with their progress each day and delivered 100% on my high expectations. John also regularly visited to oversee the project and kept to a 4 day schedule for a new roof, extension roof, bay felt replacement, gutters, soffits and fascias. I am extremely happy with the finished product and have already received many a compliment from my neighbours! I can brace the winters ahead now without fear! I would not hesitate to recommend John Anthony Roofing. They did a fantastic job! It's very much a family business with years of skill and knowledge being passed down the generations. Thank you very much to you and your team John.

Great service! Had John Anthony come out to replace a flat roof over a bay window. Everything, from the initial inspection to the job itself was carried out quickly and professionally. The web portal that they use for dealing with the quote and invoice is really helpful... Saves having to be on the phone all the time. That was a nice touch! Would definitely reccomend!

Quick response and work completed (replacement roof and chimney repair) promptly within a week. Professional service with reasonable and transparent pricing. Would definitely recommend! Cheers, Darren and Hayley

The best in the business without a doubt, easy to communicate with always on time and fitted me in last minute for a full new roof. John knows his stuff and will always help with whats best for you and his prices are unbelievable for the service he provides. If anyone needs any advice on roof repairs or replacement get in touch with these I can honestly say you won't find better in the North West. Nice 1 lads new roof looks quality.

Excellent company hard working lads very respectful I highly recommend 👍

They were the best roofers we have ever had. Professional in every way. It has taken us so long to find a good roofer but now we have we can relax

Use John Anthony Roofing to replace an old roof on a free standing old garage. Work was high quality. Price was competive. Would highly recommend and would use them again.

This roofing company is fantastic. They repaired the flashing above my porch. They were on time, quick, no messing about

Excellent response, on time, quote received by email quickly after assessment. I ended up using John Anthony for a completely new roof. From the scaffolders to the roofers, they were a lovely crew, polite and courteous. They took great care of me and my property and were very health and safety conscious for me and my pets whilst they were working. They were efficient and quick and a favourable price compared to other quotes. I am so glad I chose them, they came recommended by a friend and they didn't disappoint. Highly recommended 👌 Thankyou John Anthony 😊, Tina

John referred me to Lee and Ryan who came within 2 hours. My flat roof on my porch had been completely ruined by a previous roofer and was leaking into the house. Lee removed the roof that was doing nothing and then added a slight angle so it was no longer completely flat. He then laid a new felt roof down and completely watertighted the valley as well. Without them we’d now have a fully damaged hallway. I can’t recommend enough they’re great lads and gave me a fantastic price. Will 100% be referring to everyone I know because of how impressed I was. Thank you!

Repaired and replaced an emergency flat roof which was leaking into the kitchen, fast, reliable, and extremely tidy. Also replaced another flat roof which wasn't leaking but it was just a matter of time before it did, again fantastic service and would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thanks a million lads you did go above and beyond. Can't get any pics as I'm a coward and won't climb on the roof, but I'm sure they'll be on his FB page soon.

Very pleased with the work performed by John Anthony roofing Ltd. Had roof refelted, new batons, fresh roof tiles and 2 velux windows added in the the roof. Very easy to contact and a great family team arrived to do all the work and was completed ahead of schedule.

Excellent from start to finish, John and his team couldn't have done more to make sure our leaky roof was put back in tip top shape. Scaffolding was put up promptly (in very cold weather!) . All roof issues were investigated thoroughly and I was kept up to date with before, during and after photographs of the works carried out. A* for service, thank you.

Really pleased with my new roof. John was quick to come out and quote. Quote was really competitive. Scaffolding was up very quickly and roof was done within a few days. The lads were really good and left everywhere clean and tidy once they’d finished the job. Absolutely delighted with the results. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent team of roofers from start to finish.Took them 4 days to completely strip and replace 2 new roofs. They cleaned up after themselves every night before they left. Very friendly too and keeping the customers up to date as too were they were up to. Very pleased with the finished job. Judy & Beth.

Someone in a branded John Anthony van speeding down Brodie Avenue at 6pm today under taking cars at an unsafe speed and distance. Thought you’d like to know.

Had really great service and contact from John and all of his workforce. The finished roof looks great and fully guaranteed

The guy's did a brilliant job, very proffesional clean and tidy ,would highly recommend 👌

I recently had a new roof and gutters installed and I am extremely happy with the job. I got a lot of quotes for the work and this was the best one. The team were very friendly and efficient. They worked so well considering the bad weather. They were also very tidy. I was most impressed as the skip damaged the pavement but this was fixed as soon as the job was finished. I would highly recommend this company.

Was looking for some roof & guttering work to be done recently. Based on the very good reviews I read, this company pipped the post shall I say. I contacted them to request a quote. Unfortunately, they declined. Stating 'I lived to far to call out'. I live in Liverpool !! Your website clearly states "You are based in Liverpool and, quote !! "We are able to provide a coverage throughout Liverpool, Merseyside and all surrounding areas.' I was somewhat taken aback by the comment. I live approx 25mins away from Wavertree. The job was given to another company who have received my favourable review. If you could not fit my work into your schedule I would have appreciated an honest answer. Therefore I would not be giving you this negative feedback.

Brilliant team, managed to fit us in at short notice and did the job quick. Thank you!

Initially requested vegetation clearance and repointing around chimney stack, but I also asked for assessment of overall roof condition. As expected, John advised a new roof 'system', ie removal of old roof coverings and replace with concrete ridge tiles with new breathable felt and fully graded batons. Also applied fibreglass upstanding bonding trays to join adjacent property. and new plastic dry verge system to gable end. The works were done by a professional team of three, to what appeared to me to a very high standard. And also all done in less than 2 days. Also separate scaffolding team helped by clearing bushes and small trees at front and side of property. Highly recommend.

Had my gutters replaced and flashings done on the chimney stack. Good customer service. Replied to phone calls and emails. Will definitely consider using John Anthony Roofers again.

Can’t rate this company highly enough great service professional reliable and very competitive I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone with any roofing job

Long overdue review as I had my re-roof early July. I seen their office and decided to get a quote for a re-roof. John responded immediately, even out of hours and visited the next day. I was surprised to have a quote so quickly, which reassured me when contacting a company I have never dealt with before. I found they were the most competitive after receiving multiple quotes. John checked in after a week but he was not pushy, understanding I wanted to shop around. After approving the quote the job started a week later. It took a week from scaffolding going up to scaffolding going down, which I expected to be much longer as most companies leave the scaffolding up for 2 weeks minimum. The actual works took 2 days which is the fastest a roof of my size could be done. Skip was removed as soon as they were finished with the roof so no waiting around. My neighbours have used them for scaffolding since my job in early July with positive feedback. I did have a small gutter problem which I emailed at 6.30am this was resolved by 8.30am the same morning. I expected it to be sorted in 2 days so this exceeded my expectations. If you want a roofing company that completes to a high standard, at a competitive cost plus they will give excellent support after payment and completion then John Anthony is the company I'd recommend. All the employees are fantastic but I did say I'd give lefty a shout out for taking a video of my roof to show what had been done at various stages of the works. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I have a roofer for smaller jobs who has maintained my roof for years before having to get a full re-roof and even he said it looked great when working on a neighbour's roof. If you're unsure about using John Anthony then just get a quote at least. It's definitely worth contacting them.

We wanted a complete new roof and booked John Anthony Roofing following a recommendation from my husband’s colleague and because they’re also rated highly on Checkatrade. We were not disappointed as this was an excellent service from start to finish. Everyone came when they were supposed to and worked tirelessly throughout, in a challenging heatwave. All the workmen were courteous and tidied up as they went along and we now have a quality roof that we’re thrilled with. Having their own scaffolding is an excellent idea because we’ve heard so many stories of scaffolding being left up days after a job has been completed. This job was completed in three and a half days - two days to replace the roof and one and a half to erect and dismantle the scaffolding. Perfect! Highly recommend this company.

Full roof tile replacement just completed. Excellent service all round and would highly recommend. Thank you John and team.

SUPERB AAA service, job well done. I recommend this roofing firm I was done with calling a roofer on numerous occasions to fix the roof and still have the same problem.John Anthony roofing done a complete new roof for me from start to finish 7 days including setting up and taking down the scaffolding. Big thank you to Mark and his team Scaffolding. Big thank you to Lefty and his team of roofers. Very professional service from start to finish , brilliant communication all throughout the job. Big thank you to John the Gaffa.

Excellent service from John, his team are a credit to the Company, would highly recommend

Cant fault them....brilliant all round service. The owner was so helpful, he spent lots of time discussing different tile options with us, even bringing samples for us to look at. The entire process was hassle free from start to finish made easy through continuous dialogue and general sound advice before the work started. The scaffolders and roofers were really nice guys, great with the kids (and our dog) We are really pleased with our new roof!

A massive thank you to John and his team for the recent work on our roof. After two years searching for someone to replace our roof in a conservation area and a bad experience with another roofing contractor, John came to the rescue. John is professional, hardworking and honest. His team have worked tirelessly on my roof in adverse weather. Despite it being far from a straightforward job, they have worked without complaint and only endeavoured to find solutions for problems. My only regret is that I spent two years trying to find someone to do the work and didn’t hire John straight away.

John Anthony roofing was quick and professional in supplying me with a quote for a RE roof.

AAA*** service, highly recommend and would use again.

Excellent all round response. Restored my faith in tradesmen! Good job at reasonable price. Thank you.

I booked them- really efficient. They called on the day to say they would be there! John was friendly and efficient. He also went with me to help an elderly relative who needed repairs on his roof. Prices were good and he sent a team the next day to do both. Would highly recommend John Anthony. No job too small and he is reliable.

Really quick service. Happy to do job when I was out so no waiting in. Good communication and service overall

I contacted John Anthony over a roof repair, due to a leak from bay window. Didn’t resolve problem and very dismissive when I contacted to explain issue was ongoing. Eventually came back to look after a threat of legal action. Problem was still unresolved and still leaking causing more damage to newly plastered ceiling. Contacted for a third time to ask for it to be reviewed and totally dismissive and wouldn’t take responsibility for problem. Won’t be pursuing this problem with this roofer and I would strongly recommend using this firm.

Very Professional group builders/Roofers who kept me informed all the way through the new roof installation Clean workmanship and brilliant finish many thanks would use their services again 10/10

John Anthony Roofing reroofed our property and provided us with a superb service. Our house is in a conservation area, and the roof has been replaced with traditional natural slate. It looks beautiful. From start to finish it was a slick and professional service - including a drone survey at the outset, so that we could see the condition of the roof. We were really impressed, and would like to say thank you and well done to the whole team.

excellent workman, reliable and reasonably priced

Not without its challenges, specifically the adverse weather during scaffolding all aspects of the process have been performed in a timely and entirely satisfactorily manner by your teams. Led by their respective team leaders Mark and Ashleigh, both teams were diligent in their persuit of achieving a job performed and completed to a very high standard. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Outstanding work from beginning to end, workmen friendly and professional nothing too much trouble. Work commenced and complete on time as quoted. Excellent work I am very happy, Geoff and Delia

We had our 80 year-old roof replaced along with our neighbour (two semi-detached houses). We chose John Anthony due to the great price, which included his own scaffolders (priced separately by other companies). Scaffold was up on the Thursday/Friday around both houses and roofing work started Monday. 2000 tiles in total replaced, all within a day. Scaffold was then removed by the following Wednesday. both teams of guys were great and very swiftly got on with the job... couldn't fault them at all. New roof looks fabulous and very neat... our two new skylights make all the difference in our roofspace. Highly recommended.

New roof looks fantastic. The team were brilliant, completed in record time from start to finish and no issues at all. Would recommend them to friends/family with no hesitation.

John Anthony have replaced my old roof and they have done a fantastic job it looks great. Communication excellent. Roofers done excellent job non stop and cleaned up after themselves every step of the way. Always polite and courteous and always turn up on time so pleased I chose this company. They tick all the boxes I certainly recommend them and a big 5 star well done John Anthony.

Professional quality roof repairs, gutter replacement and bay window re-felting. Professional workers, happy to share photos of their work and answer questions. Got on with the job no fuss. Would use again.

Great bunch of guys. They were working on a property opposite my house and sorted a gap in my roof tiles that had been letting in water. Really friendly and good to deal with. Highly recommended. Will get them back when I have any more problems.

Brilliant service all round. Had an appointment within a week of enquiring, then work was carried out out the day after John being round to assess the repairs. Overall had flashing repaired, and my chimney repointed and new tins fitted to prevent water getting in. Highly recommend to anyone requiring any repairs doing.

Everyone I dealt with from John, to the builders themselves were so friendly and easy to talk to, explaining what they were doing, and when they'd be doing it. They replaced my entire roof in three days, and kept me informed every step of the way. I appreciated that they paid attention to my working hours too (I work from home) and did not disturb me during the times I told them I had meetings on, even going as far as telling me which area they'd be working in during those hours, so I could position my laptop as far as possible from most of the noise. They also went out of their way to make things easier on me, which was completely unexpected, and I'm very grateful to them for; for instance, when I ran out of milk for their teas on the second day, they brought me a a bottle of milk, rather than have me run out for groceries in the middle of the working day. Plus they have good taste in music and seemed to have got on well with my neighbours. It's the little things :) The roof itself is very nicely done, and Im currently writing this in the middle of a horrendous storm. There's zero leaks happening now and so I can 100% say it was a job well done. Heard of JAR from a relative's recommendation, and I'll gladly recommend them to anyone else from now on. A real pleasure to work with <3

John came out to greet me and we had a chat about what I would be doing to my roof. He also made some suggestions which I went ahead with. John was also very easy to get in touch with via text. The work on the roof was done very fast, and seems to be of good quality. The price was great and beat all the others I had considered. Although it was a cheaper quote, it still seemed very professional, and shows all their official industry badges. The builders themselves could have been a bit more professional, and they played music very loud from before 9am which was funny to me, but maybe not to others on my street... None of this was ever a problem though, and they did a great job. RECENT - I could not properly close a rooftop window I got from John, but I mentioned it and he came round within 10 minutes to show me how to close it. Very good customer service!

From the first phone call for a quote to completion John Anthony roofing provided us with great service, a professional team who know their jobs and do it well. The roofers were polite, courteouse and hard working they did a great job leaving the place clean when they had finished their days work. We had a new roof in 2 days, scaffolding and skip remove on the third day. A brilliant job done by John and his team. We would highly recommend John Anthony Roofing. Thank you John and all of your team for a great job

John came out and knew exactly what needs doing, was very honest & knowledgeable, gave us a good price, the team came out very quickly and done an exceptional job, would highly recommend John Anthony

We would like to thank John, Joe, Mark and the scaffolders, Jimmy and the roofing gang, all did a very good job, in the terrible weather of wind and rain. All very pleasent fellas, and very hard working, done in 2 days as John had said. Scaffold and skip removed third day. Roof looks great and we are confident John Anthony will be there if any problems occur.

Excellent roofer, managed to fit me in even earlier than expected all work completed to a high standard as I had roof damage and needed the chimney capping, solid advice and would definitely recommend 👍

John Anthony replaced my flat roof and guttering and did an excellent job! Great service and communication the whole way along. The finished work is great quality. Would highly recommend them!

Lee Scully was extremely helpful, he went to the property within hours and resolved the urgent problem with the guttering, he messaged the photographs, due to me being 250 miles away, he explained everything clearly and was very polite I would highly recommend Lee

Thank you for recommending Lee Scully to repair my roof. I was extremely happy with the service I received, the lads were friendly, professional, reliable and on time. The work was completed to a high quality. I would highly recommend Anthony John Roofing.

Just had a complete new roof and gutters, the John Anthony team were brilliant would recommend them to anyone, they arrived on time did a professional job and cost was exactly what was quoted, 👍👍

Working with John Anthony Roofing Ltd was the best experience we've ever had with a contractor. Quote provided quickly, work started and finished when promised, scaffolding removed IMMEDIATELY, the lads on the job are a credit to the company so professional and considerate. Roof and gutters look amazing! Couldn't be happier. Thanks again.

John Anthony Roofing replaced my gutters, removed and capped chimneys and replaced some roof sealant. All work was carried out professionally, on time and they even came back to make a small alterations at short notice. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend

John Anthony Roofing replaced our roof, gutters, fascias etc. and I can definitely recommend them. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was completed to time, quality and cost. Communication was excellent throughout the works and the lads on the job were friendly and professional. We had a couple of minor issues which were resolved immediately which I always think is the sign of a reliable company.

John and the team were very professional and thorough, from the erection of the scaffold, replacing the roof and removal of scaffold took less than a week. which was impressive considering a local neighbour took almost 4 week for the same service. John was always available when we had any questions and took the time to speak to the next door neighbour to explain what was happening to their part of the roof as we are a semi detached. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Price wise they were very reasonable, we got three quotes, all were close to each other and Johns were in the middle, the lower one offered a "pay by cash and we won't charge VAT" which was an instant "No" for me, the higher one were unsure on when they could do the job and they would have to get the scaffold from a different company. John said "we can do it on this date, we have our own scaffold and skips so no waiting for other company's to supply, and you pay when the job is done and you are satisfied with the quality of the work" and that is what happened, can't ask better that that

I have just had a full roof, gutter and soffit installation done by John and his lads. Very professional job, would highly recommend. John even repaired a couple of snags on my extension roof which I had done last year by another builder which he didn't charge for or had to do. Cheers lads

We used John Anthony Roofing to do a full tile replacement to our house, including the porch and bay window and I can honestly say that I could not fault them on anything... The scaffolding went up without a problem day one. The skip arrived on the morning of day two just as the lads arrived and they got stuck in straight away. The whole house was stripped, refelt and battened in the first day, with the skip replacements and material deliveries turning up like a military operation... Nothing was missed, even the relocation of our Sky dish. The whole job was done, scaffolding up, roof done, scaffolding down and fully cleared up afterwards in only four days.

John and his team have just finished a full roof install at our house as part fo a full renovation. We'd spoken to a few roofing companies and they seemed hesitant to take it on as they said it was a really complex roof. We wanted a specific tile and also for 2 skylights to be fitted along with gutters. John's team from the very start were great. Punctual every day, really quiet as they worked which was great as we have a young son and kept everywhere really tidy. We're made up with the results, the roof looks great. Throughout John was always available to talk through updates and answer questions. Communication throughout was excellent and we would highly recommend them to anyone. A few neighbours have since had quotes after seeing the work John's team have done.

Really happy with the new roof John Anthony provided. Communication was great as well as the workmanship. The work was carried out on the agreed dates which is exactly what we were hoping for. Will be contacting again for any further roof work.

Anthony John team came on time and done a full new roof his team done a brilliant job and would highly recommend them

We decided to use john anthony roofing after reading all the reviews, The new roof was completed in a couple of days, great bunch of lads, and a well run family business, would highly recommend using this company.

Just had full roof done. Service was spot on. Everything arrived when they said it would. Had a full roof done in 2 days and it looks fantastic. Great group of lads working really hard. John the manager was a absolute star and even sorted an issue with the scaffolding effecting my neighbour s satalite dish signal. Brilliant 👍 would highly recommend.

Very professional, Repaired my chimney a couple of weeks ago and replaced my flat roof today. Price on both occasions was great never charged more than original quote. If you want a good job done by a reliable hard working team then get in touch with John Anthony Roofing.

Reliable professional and quality work.

Great service! The team came and set up the scaffold a few days before and got to work straight away the following Monday. The whole roof was replaced in 2 days!! The guys then cleaned up after themselves leaving me and the family very happy, all whilst we were at work. Can’t recommend these guys enough, very professional and very good quality!

John Anthony ticks all the boxes you are looking for in a tradesman. We got a great price and did not pay anymore than was quoted. His crew were very polite, efficient and helpful. Their work was top class, a real professional job. I would strongly recommend this company.

Fantastic service. Replaced an old leaking large flat roof in excellent time so no more water flooding into room below when an unusual August storm forecast for the following day. Clean, tidy and professional and removed all old roofing too. Clear pricing and estimation so no added extras to surprise and add to cost. Will definitely use again as we continue with our renovation. Thank you very much.

EXCELLENT!!! This is probably the best professional, quality building work I have ever had done, and I have owned five houses over forty years. The quality of materials used, the speed and professionalism of the workforce and the very reasonable price I paid for the amount of quality work done puts every other roofer I have employed over the years in the shade. I would strongly recommend John and his excellent team to anyone. Five stars, it would be six if I could. Thanks again for going the extra mile.

John and his team were in up and done! If you want a roofer who gets the job done I would definitely recommend these guys.

As a key worker (NHS) I needed a roofer who would be reliable and efficient. John came out to give me a very reasonable quote on the day I called him for a replacement roof. We set a date for the roof and John and his team had the roof done on time. John's team were very friendly and hard working. Any queries I had were answered by John straight away even after the job had been done. I would highly recommend John and his team! Thanks!

This company did not do my roof, the did my next door neighbour yesterday and today. But I just want to say what a fab outfit they are. Very friendly, very very efficient hard working team but most of all very courteous and from what my neighbour says a very fair rate. If I ever have any roof issues I shall be calling them, I will also recommend to friends and family. A credit to Liverpool this business!

Did a great job replacing our roof!

John put a new roof on for us last week - very quick to respond, a really competitive price & super efficient. They got the scaffolding & skip in place in advance and completed the actually replacement in 2 days. They even jump started my car for me too! I would certainly recommend 👍👍

Thank you to John and his team outstanding work amazing people even managed to put together my daughter pram lol deffo highly recommended

I phoned this firm 6 days ago about some roofing repairs. I chose them because of the positive reviews. I appreciate the weather is bad and they must be busy but I have not had the courtesy of a reply let alone an apt for the future . So disappointed.

I had a problem with my roof and I called 6 roofers and John Anthony where the only ones to call me back. Work was done swiftly and great value for money. Would definitely use again.

am not really a review type of guy but had my doubts about john & his team but honestly i had too leave a review after the absolute fantastic quality workmanship john & his team provided for us in the replacement of our very old roof with too many broken tiles that i would like too care for , john was direct and too the point & advised us on the options we could take and after the wife & i talked it over and we have had a few repairs done by a few other roofers which never ever fixed the problem but created more & never answered there phones or texts again etc i think we have all been there !!! we crossed our fingers and we decided in a new roof and WOW absolutely amazing , thanks john & you are recommended too our friends for all there roofing problems

John and his team provided an outstanding professional service in replacing my roof and gutters and I highly recommend this company has the go too guys if you require any roof & gutter replacements or repairs that you want done right first time , you can trust john Anthony roofing to do so ....

Most impressed with service provided. Called and was dealt with in a professional and courteous manner. Guttering and repairs to chimney stack were dealt with very promptly and efficiently and all waste was taken away. Even moved my shed back into position for me! Would definitely recommend to others

You can trust the reviews, Really happy with the work John and his team did. Had some old guttering that needed replacing. Tried to get a few people to come look at the problem. John was the only one who came, was polite, to the point and didn't try to up-sell us on anything (and he came on the same day). It was a pretty small job, so we were worried we'd have to wait a few weeks for someone to fit us in, but they got to us in a few days, and did the job in a few hours. They also cleared out some guttering which was about to become a problem, re-fixed some pointing that had worn away because of the guttering and didn't charge any more for the job. Quality work, quality people. Highly recommended.

We were really pleased with the work provided by John and his team from start to finish. Great communication and work was completed very quickly and to an excellent standard! We'd definitely recommend and use John again in the future.

John and team did a supberb job of tiling my old roof and new extension roof; which in itself, has two dormers and a complex system of valleys and ridges. John has a very professional, approachable manner and excellent work ethic. I was thrilled with the final finished roof and leadwork - it looks fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend John Anthony Roofing to friends and family.

We used google reviews to find John Anthony Roofing, via some great reviews. From the first call to the last tile we found John and his team to be, efficient, well organised, professional and above reliable. Throughout the fitting of a full new roof, John and his 'family' team, showed how years of experience gives you a quality service. We would recommend John and his team at the drop of a hat. Thank you guys, it is a big step to take, a new roof, but you made it an easy one. Maria and Stephen Barwise.

John and his team came out to leak I'd had on and off for two years. Two other companies had tried and failed to sort it. They came out and straight away got to figuring it out. First repair improved it but didn't cure it. They were straight back out to try again and finally sorted out. Very professional, lots of determination shown in resolving the issue. Reasonable price too. Would highly recommend

Excellent service from start to finish and even got some guys in to do internal plastering and electrics. John keeps you in the loop if any issues that arise. Great job. Great lads. Highly recommend.

Great company and very professional. Fixed a leak in our office roof same day! Thanks

Excellent job. A good family firm. Efficient and courteous.

We used the team for some roof repairs and advice. They were quick to respond, friendly yet totally professional, transparent and very enthusiastic. They were also great value. I thoroughly recommend them and would be my first choice for any future roofing or building work. And, the best thing - it's raining heavily now and we no longer have any leaks! Thanks John & co.
