R Evans Roofing Specialist

Would recommend this company for roofing/chimney repairs. Had used in the past & would use again. Honest reliable & good price.

Rob came out the next day to inspect the issue, he went up to the roof and took pictures of the damaged areas to show me what's going on. He gave great advice on how to approach the repairs that resolved the problem and controlled our costs. It was fixed within the next business day after I confirmed the quote. I highly recommend him and his team! the whole process of was fast, smooth and highly professional to communicate with.

Robbie and his team turned up when he said to fix our roof today roof done a great 👍 job and cleaned up after would recommend them to anybody who has a roof issue cheap and honest thanks Robbie linda and john queens drive stoneycroft

Rob and his team completed a number of roof repairs for me today. All work completed quickly and efficiently. Many thanks

Rob come out within a few hours of contacting him, he provided a quote later that day and we were booked in within a couple of weeks. The lads didn't stop from the minute they pulled up especially in the heat as well! They done a brilliant job and cleaned up after themselves could not fault them at all and would highly recommend!

Well what can I say from start to finish 5⭐️ from communication, punctuality, workmanship and cleanliness nothing was to much for Rob and his lads . So glad I picked R.Evans to do my roof , if you can call a roof lovely well mine is !

We highly recommend Robbie & the guys at R Evans Roofing. They renewed my full roof 3 years ago & since then have done roof replacement & repairs for my family & friends. We’ve not had one problem with their work, they are a great set of local hard working skilled lads that do a great job. I contacted Robbie 12 months ago when our chimney pot came off in the winds within 24 hours the guys turned up & replaced the pot & damaged roof tile. This week a ridge tile fell off, again I called & within 24 hours the guys turned up to replace the ridge tile. Anybody thinking of having roofing work done, honestly you can’t go wrong using Evans Roofing!!

Rob came around to give us a quote and the team came to fix up our roof as soon as the weather allowed it

Mr Evans came out, gave an honest assessment. Later emailed a fair price. I had a number of estimates from cowboys with no history. Evans has been in the roofing business for decades and completed the job efficiently. I do not have to worry about the roof now. Highly recommend this company without reservation. These guys know what they are doing, so professional. Plus, they have worked on my dad's house in the past. 👍

Rob and the guys were very efficient and hardworking. Started at 08:00, roof stripped by 09:00, job completed by 14:00. Very impressive stuff. The guys had put a roof on my Mum's years ago, still looks brand new. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Hopefully I won't need a third roof... :-)

Called to repair roof, came out the next morning and got straight to work. Great bunch of lads, did a professional job. Would highly recommend!

I had two chimney pots removed today. The job was done well. Very happy with Robbie and his team. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent roofers. Quote and invoice matched exactly. Job well done. Highly recommended.

7/11/25 I have just had full new roof by Rob and his team. Rob provides a professional service from obtaining a quote to completion. Thank you

Fantastic job done on the roof by extremely hard working builders,I would highly recommend R.Evans to anyone

He knocked to give a roof quote, kudos to him he turned up and on a Saturday, but was unwilling to actually inspect the roof saying he didn't need to as he could see everything he needed from a quick glance from the ground. Then said if you want a quote give me your email, which I did the same day. Not had the quote still, checked junk folder too, also text twice about having not received quote and still no reply either via text or email. So at present the review has to be low because of the lack of follow up communication and an arrogance of unwillingness to check the roof. Edit: In response to the reply... I specifically told you I had an imminent operation and needed quotes and work doing ASAP so you was already aware that a quote was needed close to the time the roof was looked at. If you come to give a quote you should either deliver it in a fair time frame, or if you can't you should communicate this and make people aware, you didn't communicate well because you simply said send me your email for my quote, you didn't say send me your email for my quote but be aware this won't be sent until around such and such. And I disagree, imo you should investigate a roof to survey it properly, every other roofing company went up and took pictures.

We've used the services of these roofing specialists on a couple of occasions and would highly recommend them. They arrive on time, are reliable, trustworthy and have very competitive prices.

My chimney flashing developed a leak. Robbie and his team came and resolved the issue. If you want highly experienced roofers, this is the firm for you.

We had a new roof with all the trimmings. Everything from start to finish was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to everyone. First rate from beginning to after service.

Our family moved into this big old Victorian house in 1968, and I bought it from my family ten years ago. For as long as I can remember, the roof has never been fully watertight. As a child, I recall taking pans upstairs every night to catch the drips, listening to the sound of water falling through the night. Even after years of renovations, the roof remained a problem. I’d hired several roofers over the years, willing to pay for a proper fix, but most just patched things up and left. Before long, the leaks would return. The job was complicated—the roof has around ten different levels, a shared gulley with the neighboring house running down the middle, complex leadwork, and deep sandstone gulleys that needed relining. Many companies wouldn’t even quote for the work, while others were just "Bert & Ernie" outfits offering quick fixes for cash in hand. Then, a mutual acquaintance recommended Robbie Evans. From the first call, Robbie was professional and reliable. He came out to assess the job within a week, gave me a clear quote, and set a start date. True to his word, scaffolding went up two days before work began. He and his team arrived every day at 7:30 AM, working tirelessly without unnecessary breaks. In just ten days, they stripped and retiled the roof completely. Even Storm Eowyn couldn’t stop them—they pushed through and finished the final touches without delay. Now, for the first time in decades, the house is completely leak-free. And with a ten-year guarantee, this roof will likely outlast me! If you're looking for a skilled, reliable roofer who takes pride in their work, look no further than Robbie Evans. First-class craftsmanship, professional service, and finally—peace of mind. 🌟 Highly recommended! 🌟

Just had Rob round to check on a noise we had when there was string winds. He checked everything thoroughly and found it was a loose redundant cable which he removed. Great customer service, very professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

Prompt and reliable, and a job well done.

I was highly satisfied with the way the roofers worked . They worked like beavers and were very tidy, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for roof work.

Capped of the chimney and pointed all works up for a really good price with excellent communication throughout. I also used (R-Evans) to replace my whole roof two years ago and they did a brilliant job. Will always use this company and highly recommend them to anybody!

We had Rob and the team do a full new roof replacement. Always arrived early and very experienced in his trade . Having 25 years experience in the building and joinery trade I can see the quality in the companies work and can tell Rob is a trademans that is always recommended by previous customers. So book early as he has always got work booked in .

Phoned and he wouldn't speak to me. Told me to text him instead. Which I did immediately - telling him a ridge tile had fallen off my roof and needed fixing. So not a big job but important. That was over 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for a response. Unprofessional and rude. Business must be good if you can treat prospective customers with such discourtesy.

Fantastic service. He came round, identified the problem straight away and fixed it for free! Amazing, thank you.

Phoned Evan's roofing to get a quote on my damaged roof,he arranged to come around in half an hour which he did and quoted a price which was reasonable,he said he could fit it in later that same day,he did job done brilliant service, great job pleased with the work will recommend to all my friends.thanks again Evan's Roofing .
