They completed the job in the quoted time scale, and after a terrible experience previously, they have restored my faith a little proving that are still some genuine trades people out there. After being let down by several roofing companies who never turned up when they said they would, I contacted The Family Roofing Company to replace the facias, soffits and gutters on my porch roof plus sort out the flashing on my chimney which had come loose Lee came and had a look and sent me a quote which I was pleased with so asked him to go ahead and carry out the work We received some cake as a welcome to the family which I thought was really nice! On the agreed start date Simon and jordan turned up and began work After a day and a half the job was complete and I thought that Simon and jordan had done a fantastic job that I was well pleased with! We had an ongoing leak around one of our chimneys which two successive roofing companies had not fixed appropriately and the problem continued. I found the Family Roofing Company after searching for the best roofing companies in Leeds. Paul and Josh attended to fix the problem, they described the problem to me in detail, showed photographs of the problem, and this was followed at the end of the work by further photos of how these problems have been addressed. They worked efficiently and without creating mess in the work area and kept me informed throughout. The work looks to have been undertaken to a high standard, and on the basis of my experience so far I would be happy to recommend the Family Roofing Company.

Excellent service from The Family Roofing Company. What we believed was a small issue with the gutters soon escalated into a full re roof due to the extension roof pitch being insufficient for the tiles in situ. This even included three Velux windows recently fitted which apparently were also unsuitable for such a low-pitched roof – who knew! Options clearly explained and rather than opt for a flat roof solution which we felt would not suit aesthetically, they were able to source a special tile crafted solely for problems such as ours which was duly sourced along with three new windows. Really happy with the result. Special mention to Paul, Josh and Sam who worked wonders. Friendly, hard working and cleaned up after the skip and scaffolding had been removed – thank you. Great company to deal with, thanks to Lee for being understanding and helping sort a couple of issues caused when the scaffolding was erected – these were corrected without any challenge which was very much appreciated. In summary, would highly recommend The Family Roofing Company, real old fashioned customer service at its best and we are glad we found them.

Over priced ridicules they charge 100% on everything if your scaffolding is £900 they will charge you £1800 they even try to charge for Portaloos that costs £320. Do not be scammed by the Family Roofing company its not real no family at all.

Really pleased with the whole process of dealing with the Family Roofing Company. They responded quickly to my initial query, came out and used a drone to investigate the issue with my roof and provided a quote in good time. They turned up when they said they would and fixed the issue in a day and cleared everything up after themselves. We even asked them to check another part of our roof just in case there were any issues with that but they were really honest in telling us that everything looked fine and nothing needed fixing. Our roof is now fully waterproof and has been thoroughly tested by the terrible weather recently. Highly recommended

Reliable, well-priced and NFRC-accredited - definitely recommend. We required a repair and wanted dry verge capping adding to our roof. Another (cowboy) contractor came out to do the work originally, made an even bigger mess and then said the whole roof needed replacing, at a grossly-inflated cost! The Family Roofing Company were the only contractors on the NFRC website that I reached out to that actually turned up to survey when they said they would, and provided the quote a day later. They never proposed work that wasn't needed, and gave me confidence they could put right what others had done wrong. I was really concerned about the previous shoddy workmanship risking water damage to my property and asked if the work could be done any quicker. We had a team out 2 days before Christmas to make sure the roof was watertight, and between Christmas and New Year the work was fully completed. So we were squeezed in 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. Amazing. They turned up when they said they would and the team Sam and Simon were just ace - friendly, polite and professional; really lovely lads anyone would be comfortable around having them working on their property. I know who I'll be contacting for any future roofing needs; The Family Roofing Company are spot-on 👍🏻

We have had a leak in our bedroom for about 2 years. After the last roofer we got in did a slapdash job we came to the Family Roofing Company. We chose them based on the good reviews and the hope that they might actually care enough to help us. After receiving an estimate it was 2 months before they came to do the work, were done in half a day and we still had water leaking in within 24 hours. When I contacted Lee hoping for a bit of help and understanding I was met with 'we did the work as planned, any further work would need re-estimating'. So we have paid £1700 to a company to still be in exactly the same situation with the leak still unresolved. I understand finding and fixing a leak can be difficult but we put our faith in them as professionals and they just took our money and ran. Honestly I just want to cry.

Called out after having an issue with my builders work on a flat roof extension with 2x lanterns on. Lee was a gentleman, had no issue coming, taking his time in showing me and talking me through what was wrong. He then provided me with a detailed quote of repairs needed. I didn’t end up using him as my builders ended up rectifying their mistakes but would be more than happy to use him again in the future.

I asked Lee to come out & inspect a leaking gutter on our loft conversion as it had been leaking badly during rainfall. After having a look from ground level, he got his ladders out and within a few minutes had dismantled it and adjusted the join and clips to ensure it won’t leak anymore. The roof area of our 16 year old roof dormer had become both damaged and worn out. We got a total of four quotes for which The Family Roofing Company gave the all round best quote. We first contacted them from a recommendation through their website for which I received a prompt phone call. From the offset Lee was very professional giving good advice on the course of action/repair after inspecting the roof area. He was very clear with what materials we should use as option (we went for the rubber fleece lined type), and never at any point did we feel rushed and all our questions were answered thoroughly. Ultimately we agreed to have the work done by them. Communication was clear at every step - when the scaffolding will arrive, when they would start the work, and so on. Two days of work was required due to the weather on the first day being showery. On time, clean & tidy and a 20 year guarantee for the dormer roof replacement. Photos of before and after were taken to highlight what work had been done. We fully recommend them and we won't hesitate to use them again in the future :-)

Lee was very professional throughout he responded quickly to our request for a quote giving us options and recommendations for the work needed and arranged the work to be carried out within 4 weeks. Lee came around to my house to inspect some damage to my dormer flat roof. He offered advice on how to repair it and at a reasonable price. Lee spotted a fault from when I had my loft conversion done which he repaired aswell. Because I wasn't able to see the damage caused, Lee took some pictures to show me which helped me understand what work was to be done. Would highly recommend.

I found this company via a search. I needed my new guttering refitting that I had fitted recently by a company that had done a terrible job, and would not return to rectify the problems. The FRC responded within hours of me contacting them. They gave me a price to rectify all the previous work, and turned up when they said they would. They carried out the work, and sorted all the problems. The initial quote was fine, but after completion, they told me they didn't have to do as much work as they first thought, therefore reducing the amount paid. Highly recommend this team of absolute down to earth and honest guys.

Professional, courteous, helpful and honest After Lee checked the area he said that the job wasn’t in fact necessary. He charged only for the inspection and removal of some debris.

We had an issue with our flat roof which looked like it needed some attention. Lee was quick to respond and very professional. It turned out our roof wasn’t as bad as first thought and Lee provided his expert opinion that no fix was needed which in turn saved us money. They could have easily tried to get the job and money from us but being honest and giving advice was their approach. 10/10 for that .

Our flat roof needed replacing (wear and tear) and Lee and his colleague did an excellent job, and also replaced the wooden dormer side panels with more modern white upvc type panels which do not require painting.. Lee kept us very well informed from the time we booked the work, throughout the work, and afterwards in trying to assist us in getting the scaffolding removed. Subsequently, they also replaced a bay window roof - including standing holding a sheet over it when unexpected rain arrived before the 'finish' was set. We found them polite, reliable, careful and professional. Lee also quoted a very reasonable price.
