Two reviewers had a poor experience: one reported that leaks appeared six months after Leeds City Roofing Limited installed a new roof, that they had not been told to have the roof-to-wall join rendered, that one of the two leak spots was unrelated to render and that no one had been out three months after it was raised; another said an agreed job was not done and that the exchange became argumentative and shouting, which the reviewer called unprofessional. Many others report quick, friendly and professional service, with people turning up when they said, cleaning up afterwards and answering questions. Several say Dave talked them through the work and sent before-and-after photos, and one recalled him coming back months later to sort a query. Reviewers describe repairs, new roofs, gutter and ridge tile work, cladding and skylights, including putting right work by earlier builders. Some say he declined work he thought was unnecessary, and one said they were given time to check the roof before being charged.
Great service for a roof inspection and a bit of minor repair. Very prompt, friendly and good value.
Excellent company to use. Contacted Dave after a recommendation, over promptly to assess, carried out work within a good timescale. When I queried something connected 10 months later, replied within the hour, over the next day, resolved the problem. Very informative, takes pictures to show what he is seeing up on the roof, gives options where necessary in a written document. 100% recommend and will use again. Refreshing to deal with someone (Dave) who cares about the customer and is keen to fully resolve the problem, instead of a quick fix. Thank you.
Contacted LCR on the back of a recommendation from some good friends who'd used the company recently for a recladding a Dorma. The guys were round quickly and assessed the problem. They gave me some sound advice but declined to carry out any unnecessary work. How refreshing they could have easily screwed me over saying this or that needed doing but they didn't. Integrity speaks volumes for people and this company seem to have it in spades. I'd call back on the basis of that anytime.
David and the team came at short notice to repair the shoddy work carried out by a previous builder. They solved an issue we had had for over 2 years within a few days. The quote was competitive and they talked us through every step of the job. They turned up when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. I can't rate this company any higher, they are hard working, experienced and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a job done properly. Thanks guys, 5 stars well deserved. Graeme and Lyn
Many thanks to this team who helped me restore my roof. They took great care and attention to get it right, stop the leaks and preserve it for another generation. They are a talented bunch for sure and really know their stuff. Can't recommend them enough for your project in Leeds or Bradford.
Leeds City Roofing came our and did some work at my home. Fantastic work, completed really quick and efficient. All cleaned up after looks brilliant. Would highly recommend! Thank you
Very disappointed with the lack of aftercare for roof leaks which appeared 6 months after paying Leeds City Roofing thousands of pounds to install a new roof. Dave says the leaks are because we didn't get the join between roof and wall rendered but 1. we were never advised to get it rendered post installation and 2. Dave hasn't been out to check what the problem is 3 months after we raised it - the leak is in two places, one of which isn't related to the render. Cannot recommend.
Didn't do agreed job and started arguing, shouting. Later said was stressed. Very unprofessional. Not recommended
Excellent service yet again. Leeds City Roofing have done work for us a number of times and have been both professional and courteous every time. We have been sent photos of the roof both before and after the work has been completed so that we can see exactly what needed doing. Highly recommended!!!
Great price & a job well done. Gutters inspected & cleared. Fast response & friendly service. Highly recommend
As a distressed heavily pregnant woman with a child in the house, mould and puddling in my private rented house was really causing me anxiety. I was absolutely thrilled with the team and the advise they gave me, they were fair and professional. Thankyou so so much
Leeds City Roofing helped with a small job of repair to gutter and ridge tile on my roof. Exceptionally impressed with the highly professional, quality job delivered. David also has excellent communication skills which was informative and reassuring. On delivery of this first job I knew I had absolute faith in the quality of work and since then Leeds City Roofing has now fitted a new garage roof for me and I have them booked in to repair my porch roof. I have no hesitation recommencing David and Leeds City Roofing.
Leeds City Roofing was recommended by our surveyor. Dave performed a roof survey on a house we tried to buy which then fell through and dealt with a rather difficult seller professionally. He then fixed the roof on the house we ended up buying. Honestly can't thank Dave enough. He was quick to respond, addressed all our questions and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. He even gave us time to ensure that the roof was fixed before charging us. I will definitely be using Leeds City Roofing again if I have any problems with our roof in the future.
New guttering and ridge tiles pointed. Dave did an excellent job and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
We have some roof tiles that needed mending/replacing, I can honestly say this company went above and beyond. They were quick to respond, did the job and were very professional, I can’t recommend them enough!
We had our house cladded under our windows and they were highly professional and our house now looks fantastic. Highly recommend!
We had 2 skylights installed in to our loft, the job was done a lot quicker than expected and now we have more light in our loft. Cheers guys
Dave & his team came recommended by our surveyor after we were badly let down by our original roofer (full re roof with multiple immediate leaks & a refusal to come back and fix!). Really good clear communication regards all aspects of the job. Very organised & undertook remedial work. Very straight forward to deal with. Very helpful regards surveyors report and gathered photo documentation of the others poor workmanship. Immediate resolution of our leaks. Also very kindly (& probably because he was aware of the poor service we'd had from the other company) contacted me after an interval to check everything still looked good & solid after a bad downfall.
Great service for a roof inspection and a bit of minor repair. Very prompt, friendly and good value.
Leeds City Roofing carried out a 5 star professional service all round, from visiting to give a quote, to carrying out the work and everything in between. The work was top quality and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dave and his team to anyone looking for a company with great rates and a high standard of quality. Thankyou!!
David has done several roofing jobs for me and I can't say a bad word against him or his team always on time great prices and quality workmanship would happily recommend
Brilliant job, came and re roofed a small utility room that a previous contactor bodged, work is to a very high standard and has made such a difference. Very good quality of service and was completed quickly. Thank you!
Would highly recommend this firm to anyone. Dave and his team always turn up on time, do an excellent job, leave everything tidy and are all extremely polite. 5 Star treatment.
Would highly recommend. Undertook work within days of asking for a quote. Respectful and helpful team and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and refer others to.
I cannot recommend Dave and his team enough. I had a complete refectory and the job was done on time and all left clean and tidy. Would definitely use again.
