swift service with great knowledge and a friendly smile. would highly recommend and will use again when needed.

I’ve used John’s services many times and his professionalism is exceptional. On two occasions I was locked out of my home, and his response time was incredibly fast — he had me back inside within minutes. More recently, I called him about an issue, and instead of charging me unnecessarily, he advised that the solution I had already put in place was working fine. Most people would have insisted on a call-out fee or unnecessary work, but John was honest and genuine. I highly recommend him. I would 100% recommend him!

Fantastic service. Efficient, tidy and always reliable. Highly recommended.

Fixed our dodgy locks quickly and efficiently. Great service. Thank you John.

Key snapped in conservatory door. I tried removing it with tweezers and even thought about buying a key extraction kit but thought I’d end up wasting my money and possibly cause more damage. I found John on Google (and he was on checkatrade too) and all the reviews were excellent. He was round within less than an hour and got the key out in less than 3 minutes compared to the two hours I’d been trying! It also transpired he’d recently helped 3 other neighbours out in our road. Very happy to recommend.

Brilliant service! Thanks again

Very happy with the work carried out on our faulty bifolds by John.

Quick response. Excellent service.

I needed to locks changed on a property in Epsom urgently. So I called John at about- turn locks in Epsom. One lock I had a key for & the other lock I didn’t have a key. We contacted John about problems with our malfunctioning front door lock in June just before we went away on holiday. He responded very promptly to fix the problem. He saw that the door was not opening and shutting properly, he adjusted the hinges and tightened the screws to ensure that the door opened and closed freely. He further advised that we install handles. He sent us links to several suppliers of door handles to choose from and came back to install them free of charge. John is reliable, trustworthy, honest and efficient. We strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a good reliable locksmith. Jeffrey and Yordanka Cobham Surrey

Fantastic! John rescued me in double-quick time when my front door lock failed and left me locked-out. He was an expert, and well equipped for, gaining entry by other means. John quickly diagnosed the issue; taking care to show and explain the cause, before replacing the failed parts (which he was carrying stock of). So, the emergency was turned around fast, and all for a very fair price. Will absolutely recommend About-Turn-Locks to friends and family.

We contacted John about a broken uPVC door lock and 15 minutes later he was with us getting it fixed! He quoted us an extremely reasonable price (we'd previously been quoted well over double what he charged us), got the job done swiftly and was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on top. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend About-Turn Locks to anyone and will personally be using them again in the future!

Having returned from a weekend away, my wife’s door key snapped in the lock. Following a quick Google search we were talking to John from About Turn Locks. He was courteous and friendly. Within 15 minutes he was at our doorstep. Following a quick assessment, he was able to extract the broken piece of the key. We discussed replacement options for the key due to the quality of the one which broke. After a brief consultation, we opted for a new lock barrel to be fitted. Within 10 minutes, a new lock barrel was fitted and with a one-year warranty. We could not fault the response and the quality of the work. Thanks for being there when we needed you. We will certainly recommend you!

John came to the rescue within 30 minutes of me calling him. Great service and very reasonable too. Will definitely be suing and recommending again

Knowledgable and efficient locksmith. Sorted our problems quickly.

Been meaning to write a review for over a month. Our lock broke when we came home one saturday in the early hours of the morning. The lock just kept turning. Managed to get into the house after a lot of hassle. I tried to break the lock and everything I could possibly do to open the door. Short of angle grinding the hinges off (bloody expensive security door) I gave up. Wanted a local local independent locksmith, these larger companies just rip you off. John came round straight away, he tried everything with various tools he had, in the end he managed to grind the locks off. It was no easy job, and you need the right tools which I don't have. I was lucky as John had a spare locking mechanism on board and managed to fit the same day, and replaced with a better lock. I highly recommend John as he knows he stuff. He pricing is very fair and competitive. He clearly stated the options and the cost up front. Would hate to think what an a larger emergency call out company would of charged. Very professional and I would definitely recommend John and use his expertise again in the future, but hopefully I wont need to :- ) Thankyou John for great job at a great price!

John was very quick to respond to an emergency! Really great service, would definitely recommend. Thank you John!

John went above and beyond to help with out side gate lock. Very impressed with the service and will definitely be calling him next time we need a locksmith.

Excellent service. I had an issue with my bifold doors where the main door wouldn’t lock. I contacted John who was very helpful in trying to help me solve this without a visit or cost ,but when it turned out it wasn’t something that I couldn’t resolve myself he came out on the same day and within an hour, everything was fixed. John’s number is now saved in my phone as my point of contact for any future lock related issues and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to other people.

Great service, these guys sorted out my lock problem in no time, would definitely recommend. Thank you!

John came to my house this morning to fit a new bolt to the wooden front door (I like to bolt the door at night and the old one had broken). He advised that I also needed the Yale latch adjusting, to stop the door from rattling. He did both jobs, sorting out the existing latch and fitting the new bolt. I am really pleased with the results and would definitely have him back in the future should any further issues arise.

John came to our property in August 2016 to fix our front door lock and service two PVC doors to the rear of the property - which were no longer locking smoothly. He arrived on time and was friendly and very happy to answer any questions I had about the locks and doors! I observed and inspected John's work through out and he was happy to talk me through the process. I noted he was diligent and carried all the necessary parts to complete the job in his van, in this instance the gearing system for the front door. All work was completed in one visit for the quoted fixed price of £79.99 + VAT + Parts. He was able to accept mobile card payment and provide email invoice upon completion of the job which was very convenient. Thanks for the great work John!

Nothing was too much trouble. Did a fantastic job at replacing our front door lock - wouldn't hesitate to use again as well as recommend to others.

Despite living a little way away from me John responded immediately to my request to repair the lock on my newly installed Yale door (after Yale were unhelpful) as he knew my house with 4 children in it had to be secured over night. He carried out the work with a great level of knowledge and care and did not leave until he was absolutely happy with the work- great pride in his trade and not an in and out kind of tradesmen. Will be using John again for another job without hesitation.
