Due at my home between 10 & 12- no sign. No text or call to say he would be late. I understand jobs run over, but let me know! When I contacted them via WhatsApp to say this, i was then addressed by the wrong name. Not a great experience.

I called the people and asked if them can they come and fix my bath i had a block they said they will get someone and I asked for price and they did not give me answer so they came and when they came I asked how much they said don't know so they did they did the job and they told me £600 just to clean the pipe out I said I dont have that much on me they never told till they where leaving so they said they will take the tv with them and the coffee table and the tv stand and I said you can't do that when you never told me how much it was going to be and they I will call the police I said you don't need to. I said can it be cheaper he said dont know said I need to know pls he go a bit angry with me I am disabled so I do not understand him properly he said fine I will allow £200 he said isad I have got £100 on me he said then he said I will take you to court i said I will have to get more money out then I did and he got angry at me for taking so long said I can't rush be then he rung me 26 time saying hurry up to me to me that was about 2.30am I said I will have I give it to you in the morning he said fine he came about 8am in the morning and I gave it to him i was getting overwhelmed with everything and I was have a bit of a panic attack was have epilepsy i could of made it worse.

Had a fantastic experience with Matt and his team. Had been let down on a few occasions for my air con install by other installers, Matt swooped in and came to my rescue. Working in the Plumbing Merchant industry, I can tell you first hand that the level of professionalism exhibited from MPW is top quality. Fair pricing and communication, topped off with a high quality install from his team. Highly recommend.

I can totally recommend MPW. Zak came and fixed our leaking kitchen sink and also a toilet! He was both very professional and polite, clean and tidy. Great price and fab service. Highly recommend.

We had our air conditioning installed today by Dave and Ben from MPW, and we could not be happier with the service we received. From our initial enquiry, the response time was incredibly quick, and the excellent service continued right through to the installation. Dave and Ben were professional, friendly, hardworking, and incredibly tidy. Their workmanship was excellent, and they took real pride in doing a first class job. They were happy to answer any questions and made the whole installation process smooth and stress free. A special mention has to go to Ben. He really gives you faith in the younger generation. He was polite, friendly, respectful, and worked incredibly hard throughout the day. He is a real credit to MPW. We would not hesitate to recommend MPW to anyone looking for air conditioning installation. Speedy, efficient & reasonably-priced.

Came back to find water on the floor and a broken limescale diffuser, phoned up MPW and within the hour, Zak had come out and fixed the issue, speedy and great service. Very fairly priced and would recommend for any plumbing issue you want resolved quickly!!!

Beware.. I’d be very cautious about agreeing to work being carried out by MPW. I originally requested a quote and was told labour would be £100 + VAT for the first hour, reducing to £80 + VAT thereafter, excluding the cost of any parts. After the engineer attended, I received a call advising the total would be roughly £250, which I agreed to. However, when the invoice arrived, it simply stated “attended toilet issue” with a charge of £260 and no further detail. What makes this even more frustrating is that the engineer was only at the property for around 30 minutes to complete the work, so based on the rates I was originally quoted, I appear to have been overcharged by at least £100. I requested a breakdown so I could understand the labour and parts costs, but Kelly advised this wasn’t possible and said that because I had agreed to the amount at the time, “it is what it is.” I find this completely unfair. Being refused even a basic breakdown makes it feel as though extra charges have been added on top of the original estimate. It’s disappointing because Kelly was extremely pleasant when providing the quotation, but very dismissive when I later asked for clarification on the invoice.

Came out for an emergency call within an hour on the Saturday, and returned again on Sunday. Zak was really efficient, eventually found the source of the leak and fixed what he thought the issue was (poorly installed toilet). Will definitely be using and recommending again.

Woke up last Friday morning with no hot water coming out of any of the taps at my mum's house. By 8am Saturday morning, we had James pop by and he immediately identified the issue, then quickly sourced the replacement float valve and everything was working again by 10am. He was friendly and did an excellent job (in a tricky attic space where the tanks were hard to reach), thanks very much to him and Matt for responding so speedily on the weekend. Thanks again. Alex

Gosh! If only every trades company followed the examples set by MPW. From telephonist, to gas fitters to the Chairman personally, everyone - just everyone - was unbelievably helpful, polite and gave 100% service. From my first call, an engineer came later that same day. Joy oh joys, we had hot water and heating. Unfortunately the error code returned - but MPW faced the challenge and another engineer came within a few hours. He gave the whole boiler a very thorough overhaul. And the Chairman - he personally called me when the error code returned and continued to stay in touch seeing the job to fruition. And at the end of the day - the company insisted only the initial call out fee was payable. The service I received was totally exemplary - - Thank you MPW - a million thankyous! I contacted MPW Group to investigate a leak and was told that if it was not a plumbing issue, I would be charged one hour plus VAT, which I was happy to accept so that I could at least identify the source of the problem. They attended while I was out (my partner was home) and later reported that the issue was “just grout” and not a plumbing problem. I paid the invoice of around £140 despite no actual work being carried out, on the basis that I would at least get clear information and evidence of the leak. When I phoned to ask for more detail and a photo of the leak (which they said they had), the lady on the phone was rude, dismissive and kept repeating that “it’s obviously your bath” – as if it should have been obvious to me before I called a plumber. If it really were that obvious, I wouldn’t have paid for a specialist to attend. I still haven’t been sent any evidence of the leak, despite asking. Very poor customer service, unhelpful attitude on the phone and no sense of accountability given I have already paid the invoice. Unfortunately, I would not use this company again or recommend them.

Boiler was making a violent rumbling noise when the hot water was running. Rang MPW at 8am, Nick arrived by 10.30 and issue was resolved by 11. Very happy with the service. Will be calling on them again for any future needs.

Zak was an absolute legend! He really put my mind at rest and was so kind about my cluelessness. He worked quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality. Highly recommended 😁

I couldn't rate MPW highly enough. Reliable, friendly, efficient and considerate. My boiler packed in on Saturday morning I found them on Google, have them a call and was informed the team were in chipping Sudbury at the time but someone would be with me as quick as possible. Within an hour someone was at my house, checking over the boiler. It required some new parts that couldn't be ordered in for Sunday but first thing Monday they were back and got the boiler up and running. This was just before Christmas and I had a 2 year old and heavily pregnant wide at the time. Their efficiency at solving the problem was therefore hugely appreciated. What's more, the fallout charge was waived and when fixing the boiler they identified something else that could do with replacing. This was done with no extra charge than the part. I said I felt bad them not charging me and his response was "it's Christmas round the corner and I'm sure that money could go to better use for you and your family". That combined with the job they did was all I needed to know I won't be going anywhere else when I'm in need again. Rate it.

3 engineers came round over the space of 2 weeks. still left without water & heating. Got a plumber from my builder and fixed my rental property within 30 mins.

Positive experience with the team here. Prompt response time and quick turnaround on our boiler fit out. Would happily use services again.

I called MPW Group when I had problems with a carbon monoxide alarm the night before I was going on holiday. The engineer was there within a very short time even though it was a Sunday, and quickly tested everything and put my mind at rest. I will definitely use them again

Matt came and fitted a new pump for my Viessmann boiler this afternoon. Did a great job, very friendly - thank you!

I recently hired MPW to install several pre-used appliances in my home, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the start, the initial contact with Matt went well. I explained my requirements, and he provided a quote, which we agreed upon. The plumbers arrived on time, were polite, and seemed professional. However, things quickly went downhill. The job appeared to be underestimated in terms of time, and they tried to charge us extra for additional work. The team had to reschedule another visit, and worst of all, they left us without hot water. The next morning, a plumber came back to simply turn the hot water back on—something they had forgotten to do—and then scheduled yet another visit a week later to complete the work. During this period, our kitchen was unusable because there was no water. When Matt called to reschedule, he requested an additional day's charge for two plumbers, which we refused, as we had already accepted the original quote. The plumbers returned as scheduled, but despite their best efforts, they couldn't get the Quooker appliance up and running. They claimed we hadn’t mentioned the kitchen was unfinished, which they said was the reason for the extra time spent. However, that was irrelevant to the work that was supposed to be done. To make matters worse, we had to call a Quooker engineer at an additional cost of £280. Within minutes, the engineer identified that the only issue was the plumber's failure to switch the appliance on properly. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, a few weeks after the installation, a major leak developed under the sink. We contacted Matt again, but this time he informed us that pre-used equipment only carried a 30-day warranty, something we were never told initially. He refused to send a plumber without charging us again, even though the leak was directly related to their work. While the plumbers were polite and friendly, the lack of professionalism and poor communication left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend MPW for anyone needing reliable plumbing or appliance installation services.

Matt from MPW is a true gentleman, extremely knowledgeable, especially on Viessmann boilers and always willing to help other engineers and businesses.

Zack was amazing at finding are leak in the bathroom sink and whilst he was turning the stop tap off (we were talking about the dishwasher) he offered to take the kick board off and took a picture of it for us then put the kick board back on we would 100% recommend Zack was kind, friendly, helpful, really knowledgeable and nothing seem to much.

Great service from booking to completion of the job. Very pleasant lady took the booking for a replacement kitchen tap at my elderly in-laws. Given Zak as the attending plumber who arrived at 8.30 on the dot. Zak was very efficient in replacing the tap doing it in no time at all,he was very polite and happy to answer any questions a good ambassador for the company. I would highly recommend MPW group and will definitely make them my first call when I next need the service of a plumber.

I called MPW GROUP on a Friday afternoon to help with a gas leak that was discovered when having a new cooking range fitted. The fitter of the cooker was unable to find the leak so capped my gas and left with the cooker fittings (I'm guessing this was an oversight). Matt and his apprentice Ben turned up within half an hour of my call. Almost immediately located where the leak was. FYI, was where the previous person had looked, repaired the leak, went purchased new fittings for the cooker, connected it to the gas supply, ensured it was working correctly, corrected the mistake the other fitter had made when capping the mains gas, did me a favour by refilling my boiler and managed to do this in just over 2 hours, the same amount of time the other fitters were at mine. To say that Matt and Ben did a brilliant job is an understatement. Friendly, professional and very knowlegable. MPW have restored my faith in finding professional people via the Google etc as opposed to someone who knows someone. I definitely recommend MPW and will use them again in the future if I need too. I honestly cannot praise them enough. For an all round 24hr plumbing service the MPW GROUP are the ones to use. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you Matt and Ben.

I’d like to give Zak 6 stars please. He came to sort out several radiator issues and was kind enough to explain to me what needed doing in each room. He removed his shoes without prompting (unnecessary but appreciated) and was courteous throughout. All spaces he worked in were left immaculately and my house is now beautifully warm. Great job, Zak!

I recently had my boiler replaced by MPW Group. They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I spoke to Charlotte and Kelly at the office several times for quotes and to arrange the work, they were lovely and so helpful every time. On the day of the job I had David and Alfie to do the work. They were great, so efficient in their work plus friendly and professional. I have 2 little home cats so was a bit worried about them escaping onto the busy road while the doors were open but both David and Alfie were careful and mindful about my fluffy friends so extra huge thanks for that. MPW were excellent. I contacted them about quoting for a new boiler and an engineer attended the same day. I surveyed the market and found that MPW were offering the best product and service, at a competitive price. They were very responsive to any questions I had, both by telephone and by email. My new boiler was fitted very efficiently by Nick, who worked extremely hard and did a great job. Highly recommend!

I had an issue with my boiler, and had a local business come out to take a look. They found the issue but didn't have the part, so told me they would give me a quote for the fix but that it might be a bigger issue and I should consider replacing the boiler. I called MPW because they're a Viessman specialist, and they came out to look at it within a couple of hours, solved the problem and highlighted a couple of things that need fixing but should get my boiler back to good condition again. Top notch service, reasonably priced - wish I'd gone to them first!

Had to call out an emergency plumber on a Sunday as we had raw sewage backing up. Zak was quick and professional. It wasn't an easy problem to solve as it turned out that the severe weather had dislodged a gutter pipe and that was blocking our sewage drainage. Zak helped us remove it and even replaced some of the bits, legend.

Ben came out to the issue within an hour of us phoning MPW on a Sunday evening! Quickly located the problem and advised how best to resolve. Really helpful, respectful and polite - high recommend.

Zak came within an hour of phoning. Quickly sorted out my kitchen tap that I had tried to fit and failed due to poor tap selection! Really friendly service, and sorted out the pipework too that had been badly done in new build. Highly recommend.

Matt came at short notice promptly on a Saturday to look into an issue for us - Issue was identified quickly and explained in good detail. Outcome, as suspected, was we’d need a new boiler. All installed by Dave & Sunny within a couple days, job done quickly and professionally with full explanation of the new boiler and how to use upon completion. A good local business! I'm a little late writing this review due to the kids being off school. We moved from a system to a combi boiler in July. I was horrified to notice we had a leak from our attic, we struggled to get hold of a local plumber, but MPW we're able to come over in the same day, I was so grateful. Initially I presumed using a company that was able to come out so quickly would mean a very big bill, but that wasn't the case at all, the quote was in the region I'd expect. I would highly recommend Matt, Danny and the team, always happy to answer all my questions. They were very tidy and all was completed in a day and I am happy to confirm all is still going well. I Contacted MPW late on Friday evening as my boiler had decided to stop working. I spoke to Matt who was extremely helpful and honest about the fact that if he came out late at night and the boiler needed new parts (which it would) then there would be a call out fee and he would need to come back anyway. He arranged to come between 9 & 10 on Saturday morning and was with me as promised just after 9. He had pre-purchased the parts that he thought I might need and by just after 10 I had a fully working and serviced boiler! I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in future. Thanks again Matt for your prompt and excellent service.

All good efficient and on time

The Engineer who visited us to sort out a split boiler was Dave. His product knowledge and workmanship were excellent. The second visit to finish the job off Dave was accompanied by Apprentice Alfie who also was a great lad with a good work ethic. I own a Service company in a different trade and I have to say my dealings with this Company have excellent. Dan was also a great help. Nigel Webb -Alveston

Told us the call-out fee was £95 which is not the whole truth as that’s the before tax figure, the actual sum was £114! Why lie and not just tell us the actual call out fee? That’s one way to drive away customers by charging them 20% above the quoted cost. We booked a plumber who never showed up, called the company and they had forgotten about the appointment so sent someone out a few hours late. He was in and out in 5 mins, maybe I should be a plumber.

After a quick search looking for someone to come and do a boiler service, I found MPW, and after reading the reviews, decided to book them. Great choice! Dave attended, timely, professional and friendly, clean and tidy, knowledgable and helpful. Assisted with a couple of other small niggles we had too. Can’t recommend highly enough, 10 out of 10, will definitely use again. Epitome of a great service. Thanks!

From the first enquiry via phone to the final invoice, the whole team at MPW have been on point, professional yet friendly and very proactive, special thanks to Nick and Alfie who attended my home to fix issues with my boiler and power flush heating system, every effort was made to restore my heating and Nick was here over 12 hours on day one as incurred problems along the way however this never phased Nick and he cracked on regardless. My heating now working more efficiently and radiators never been so hot! Will use again and would highly recommend, many thanks.

Ben, Sonny & Nick serviced my boiler today, moved & replaced some radiators. They were so polite & efficient & left each room clean & tidy. Ben talked me through all that they had done & tested the system. Excellent service & I would highly recommend MPW !!

Had a small problem with my 19 yr old boiler, my wife kept having a cold shower!!! Called MPW within 2hrs an engineer came out, after fault find found the problem, unfortunately it was not cost effective to repair, was given a quote on the spot which was very competitive. Was then told it could be fitted the following day!!! So within 24hrs a new boiler was fitted & commissioned. I can’t fault Nick the engineer who did the installation. Good workmanship all around. What a great team with fantastic service! We were on our way back from Belgium and in the Eurotunnel, when we got a call from our lodger to say that we had a burst pipe and could we get 'our' emergency plumber on the line. Suffice to say that we didn't have one, so I googled a bunch with no success at all. They either didn't pick up the phone or couldn't come for a few hours - not much use when you have water spouting everywhere! I then went on the BS9 Facebook page to look for recommendations, which is where I found the MPW group. My call got answered within a few rings, and they were able to send out 2 guys within 20 minutes to sort out the problem. They installed a new stop tap and replaced the broken limescale unit, and they mopped up all the water that had gushed all over the floor. We didn't meet the guys ourselves, but our lodger said they were very friendly, and they obviously did a great job for a very reasonable price. I have now saved them in my phone and will definitely be using them again for any plumbing needs. Highly recommended!

We can't praise Zak and Alfie enough! They arrived within an hour of us phoning, and promptly found our leak (which a well-known plumbing company had denied was there on several occasions! 😡). They were able to fix the problem promptly and efficiently, with clear communication throughout. Thank you, Zak and Alfie - very impressed with the service given. Nick attended our house following a fault with the boiler and central heating system. He worked tirelessly along side his apprentice Alfie to rectify the problem. It wasn’t an easy fix and yet put so much effort in to make sure that our heating and hot water worked properly again. They were wonderful problem solvers and very cheerful throughout, even after a very long day. Thank you very much.

I have a specialist plumbing system and they replaced the unit in a good time frame at a reasonable price for how quickly I needed the job fixing! Would highly recommend.

Super impressed with the speed and quality of response. Zac was here to replace a cistern water inlet valve an hour after phoning. He had a suitable valve in his van. 30 min job completed in a friendly and competent way. Rates, call out and labour, well explained during my initial call.

Where do I start, amazing service could not fault Matt at all. This evening (19/07/25) at around 7:30pm I noticed I had a warning appear on my boiler and I was without hot water for the duration of the day, upon googling for a boiler company open around this time of evening I came across MPW Group on google with excellent reviews and comes with a 24/7 hour service, gave Matt a phone call and explained the situation / problem I was having, instead of coming out to have a look at my boiler and charge me a fee Matt explained everything what to do over the phone saving me around £180-£200 call out fee on a Saturday evening and every 10 minutes Matt would call to see if everything was okay and if anything has improved. Just a precaution, Matt has booked an engineer to come out tomorrow to look at my boiler if the warning appears again or no hot water presents itself again but if this service is not needed, it would be cancelled without charge. This has got to be one of the best services I have ever received from a boiler company, where Matt went above and beyond to make sure I have hot water and everything is working correctly. Matt certainly knew what he was talking about and it showed from speaking to him over the phone, especially when speaking to a customer who has no knowledge of the sector. I would 100% use Matt again and recommend him to my family and friends.

Zak and his mate were punctual polite and very efficient and finding a way to repair a shower that was leaking through the ceiling. In less than two hours they had assessed the problem.. been to collect the parts.. fixed it… tested it and cleared up! What a dream team! Thanks

I cannot fault the service that I received today. Within 30 mins of calling mpw Zak was at my property. He located the leak from my tiolet and was able to fix this by replacing broken parts and pipes. The service was great . I then rang various companies, including MPW: Matt answered the phone immediately, rang back twice and exactly when he said he would. Within c half an hour Nick was at my door. He was able to stop the water, identify and repair the problem, all quickly and professionally and with clear explanations. I wish I had tried MPW first! I was very impressed with their service.

We called Matt recently and he came out that afternoon. We had a whistling noise for over 18 months and another Company couldn't fix it. Straight away Matt knew what the issue was and sent us quotes that evening for the parts needed. The following week some of his team came to replace the parts. Another issue came to light, so another team member was called to help fix it. They had to stay longer than anticipated but everything was resolved. Service was amazing & professional. Matt’s team installed a boiler in our new home and we were so happy with the service. Danny, Dave, Ben and Sonny were very hardworking and a dream to have in the home. The job was much harder than anticipated, but the team always had such a positive attitude. Nothing felt like too much to ask for. Matt was prompt to respond when we had boiler issues in our new home - even though it was Sunday - and did a free assessment over the phone to save us the call-out fee. The following day, his team deemed that a new boiler was required and by Wednesday it was fitted. The lads went beyond the call to ensure that all the radiators were kicking out heat (even though they were only tasked with changing the boiler) and when some were still cold the next day, he sent one of his boys out to balance them for free. We felt looked after and reassured by Matt and the team at what was a stressful time for us.

Had a boiler emergency on Tuesday, called MPW. Had a chap within an hour looking at boiler. I expected to get a new one but waited until this one packed up first. Danny confirmed what I thought and we agreed on a conversion from system to combi. I received a quote within ten minutes and my boiler was installed two days later. Dave and Alfie turned up on time, and worked through the day to get me up and running. Danny, Dave and Alfie were incredibly professional and friendly, answered all my questions and did a perfect job. They also sent a roofer, again very professional, and did his job despite a very awkward neighbour. These are the best plumbers I have ever used. Photos are before and after, and as can be seen, everything was in a complete mess when they arrived, and now it’s lovely and tidy. The boss called me after to check I was happy and inform me that he was processing all the paperwork. Office staff are also very pleasant, professional and friendly. An excellent experience :)

Very poor service, receptionist and manager were very rude and unprofessional. Charged over 100 pounds for a 5 minute call out. The issue was not resolved when it could have been if other basic parts had been checked. Will not be using them again.

Outstanding service!! MPW answered a call from us promptly this week regarding a faulty boiler which needed replacing. Within the same day they arrived at my home, assessed the property, the boiler situation and presented me with a number of options to proceed. All advice provided was completely transparent and I felt that I made the right decision at the end of the consultation. Today, the team arrived promptly in the morning, conducted the necessary works and then left with no traces on completion. The engineers were very personable and I felt very comfortable having them in the home to perform the work. Beyond fantastic service! We had a broken boiler than 4 different engineers didn’t know how to solve. MPW took the time and care to ensure that within 24hrs of us making a call to them, they had been out, diagnosed, picked up parts, installed them, contacted Viessmann and ensured we had hot water once again. A serious problem boiler which was no issue for MPW. Very lovely people to deal with and their commitment to getting the job done is 2nd to none!! Absolutely unbelievable service!!! After a week of trying to get hold of trades person and get our broken boiler diagnosed/fixed we were stuck. From the moment MPW have been involved they have been fantastic. I called on Friday afternoon and we had an engineer out Friday night. He left at 8:45pm, and asking what time in the morning I would be prepared to get up and let him back in as he needed to pick up a part from the office. He told me he had started at 6am!!! In a world of waiting and holdups, I can't believe how fast he has acted and sorted us with hot water again. One of the few venders dealing with Viessmann and has all the parts needed, no ordering time from Germany (atleast for us) so quick resolution possible. Very rare you get this level of service, I won't be using anyone else for services/breakdowns in the future I can assure you. Absolute legend!

I've tried having MPW over twice for a boiler service, but they are so unreliable on times. First appointment I waited at home for an hour. No one arrived. I got call 30 mins later asking why no one was at home. I rebooted for today. I received two texts saying they'd be over at around 2.15pm. At 4pm we'd had no engineer and no update. I called and told they would check. Waited 30 mins ans called again (no over 2 hours late). Told the engineer still had another job to go before they could come over. Absolutely ridiculous! I have a job and a newborn baby I can't sit at home all day waiting for an engineer to turn up whenever. Very, very poor service

MPW were very quick to come out to help us with a gas leak. They were friendly and professional and very clean and tidy. They found the problem and forged a solution despite it going on into the evening they were very cheerful and keen to fix it and as quickly as they could. Great with the kids including the toddler who wanted to join in. Really recommend them!

With a leaking Viessmann Heat Pump causing significant flooding and damage, MPW attended withing an hour of first contact, identified the problem and stopped the leak. Had a water leak under our bathroom floor and a friend recommended MPW. Spoke to Matt at 07:30 and he arranged for Zak to come out. Zak quickly diagnosed the problem and successfully fixed it allowing us to have our water back which was huge relief. Excellent work from a friendly company. Highly recommend calling them if you have any plumbing issues whatsoever.

I called Matt at 10am on the recommendation of another plumber and he and Jack arrived around 1.30pm the same day. They immediately identified the problem and Matt clearly explained what action needed to be taken to remedy it and how much it would cost. They updated me regularly over the course of carrying out the work, including when this extended into a second room and more floorboards than anticipated had to be removed. This was done with great care and minimal damage. MPW were friendly, efficient and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be using their services again.

So glad I called MPW! We had to call Matt out on a Sunday to help us deal with a strangely non-responsive boiler. We’re about to move house and it’s the last thing we needed. We’d tried changing the fuse, checked the fusebox, so no reason at all for it to be dead. We arranged for him to come out within a couple of hours. Really responsive, replied to texts immediately, asked me exactly what model we’re working with, so he’d know what to bring, and turned up exactly when he said he would. He went through checking everything methodically, explaining exactly what he was doing, until he concluded the boiler was fine and it was actually an issue with the electrics. He could have left it at that and gone home, but instead, he kept thinking of things that might just possibly be the problem. As a last chance he said there’s sometimes a second fuse spur switch. So, we duly emptied the nearby cupboards and there it was. Now here’s the fun bit, all that had happened was the switch has been accidentally flipped – (that kind of makes us idiots), but the point is, it’s rare to find someone who’ll come out on a Sunday, and persist with trying just about everything until it’s actually fixed. Friendly, professional, reliable – life saver.

Very efficient - called, booked, work done and invoiced all in one day, for a set of small plumbing jobs. Work was done quickly and the cost seemed very fair. I think the plumber who visited me was called Zak. The only minor negative was the company didn't seem to send him with much to mop up water with and he borrowed one of my towels - no big deal but something the company may want to think about!

It turned out that a major refit of the heating system was required, which was obviously disappointing. However, from the first time we met Matt Williams, he instilled confidence that he and his team would be able to put things right. Danny Smith undertook the work and was hard working, professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable at all times. We would highly recommend MPW for any work involving heating systems and boilers, which many plumbers don’t undertake well.

Zach was very helpful in sorting out a couple of issues we had, correctly identifying the inexpensive spare parts we needed and then using them to effect the repairs. On Thursday we had to make an emergency call to MPW as we had water pouring out of our boiler. We called at 7.30am and Matt was with us by 8.30am. He spent 2.5 hours replacing parts in the boiler and got it back up and working. Unfortunately after he had left an error code appeared and we had to call him again. He did not hesitate to come back out to us immediately and managed to resolve the issue. We cannot thank him enough for his efforts, we appreciate everything he did and would not hesitate in recommending MPW.

Dan serviced my gas boiler after it malfunctioned and cheerfully explained stuff to me about everything he checked. Felt much more relaxed about impending cold spell....I am modifying this after 2 more experiences. At the first visit Dan told me there was nothing wrong with my boiler remote controller which was not recording the temperature accurately, so I agreed not to replace it. The problem still continued and when I asked them to change it he came an hour later than the 8am I was told, looking grumpy and seemed to suggest that I couldn't be right. He replaced it and the problem now seems resolved so I was right. He also went to a tenanted property to do a boiler service and Gas Safety. I was phoned to be told that a dripping tap could not be repaired but needed replacing. I was quoted £37 for the tap plus labour and ended up paying £114 + VAT just for the tap and still haven't received a Gas Safety Certificate.

Mpw are really great. I've used them for several years, and they've always been reliable, friendly, very tidy and always done great work. Today they came to replace a dead boiler. They went into the loft to replace the flue, found a leaky roof, called a roofer who came and sorted the flashing and tiles. Now I have a clean, warm and not leaky house. And they made friends with my worried puppy! Brilliant.

MPW recently did a complete bathroom renovation for me which included knocking down and rebuilding a wall to enlarge the space. I'm delighted with the result which they completed to a very high standard. The whole team was lovely (Marcus, Jamie, Danny and Martyn) - highly skilled, good communicators, and very helpful - often going the extra mile to make sure I got what I wanted. Highly recommended.

Incorrectly diagnosed the issue in my heating system causing me to throw away a perfectly good thermostat and replace the system at great expense. There was nothing wrong with it; there was just a faulty piece of wire that he didn't check. When I bought this to his attention he told me he was just a "boiler engineer" as if thermostats have absolutely nothing to do with boilers. Refused to engage with any kind of liability and essentially told me the situation was all my fault.

We recently had a full bathroom installation completed by MPW and we genuinely cannot fault them! We are over the moon with the results. Their main office was responsive and helpful in the planning stages, and all the tradespeople who worked on the install were on time, polite and professional. Particular mentions to Jamie and Martyn who did the majority of the install - they were absolutely fantastic, a pleasure to have around during the project, super hard working and really listened to what I wanted and were patient in going through all my Pinterest boards to help me get the look we wanted. They also left the house spotless at the end of each day. The quality of the install is amazing, and I’m so glad we used them. We’ve also called up MPW for a few other things here and there, like boiler issues and broken pipes, and every time they have been quick to respond and everyone we’ve met from the company has been professional and helpful. Would highly recommend, and we wouldn’t use anyone else!

This is a very over due review, as we've had Matt do various jobs for us over the years at our home and at rental properties, these have ranged from minor leaks to bathroom refits and boiler replacements. This review was prompted by a boiler fault at home, we called around 08:30 and Matt arrived before 10:00, faults corrected and boiler serviced by 11:30. I've always found Matt and his team to be tidy, courteous, professional and, as demonstrated today, very prompt.

Brilliant service 10/10 will be having you guys back to service my veissmann boiler, your engineers turned up prompt were able to repair a bad previous install, also managed to repair my UFH. cannot recommend enough.

Absolutely brilliant! MPW have done a few small jobs for us but recently replaced our old back boiler heating system and we couldn't be happier! We were pleasantly surprised how neat, tidy and respectful the team were whilst installing the system. They arrived on time and took the time to properly explain all options and figued out ways to cause the least disruption to our home. Also MPW actually talked me down from a more expensive boiler that wasn't needed saving us a lot of money.

Couldn't ask for better service. Came to my dad's in less than 20 minutes of calling them out. Very good service and really happy men that came. Reset my dad's boiler and free of charge. I was originally told that it would be £80 for a call out, they had good reviews and they could do it next day so I went with them. The plumber came round and he was friendly and I’m sure this won’t be his fault but he told me there was in fact noise coming from under the bath which is why I called up…and that a pipe was most likely leaking but he couldn’t tell me more as it was under concrete. He took some photos of under the bath and said he would speak to his boss. I was then told his boss would come round in 4 days ( including a weekend) later to do more investigation and give me a quote for the works. The weekend passes whilst this leak continues I then receive a phone call later this afternoon cancelling saying that the boss will not be coming round to look and give me a quote as they don’t have any availability till after Christmas, obviously not being able to leave the leak till then. And then let me know that the price they gave me quoting £80 wasn’t including vat. So now I am left with a leak that has been going on for an extra 4 days now and all I have been told is yes there is a noise coming from under the bath! In times like these its really soul crushing to be spending £100 for literally nothing to be done.

I have used MPW for several jobs now in our rental properties. We will continue to use them as they turn up when they say they will, talk through the issues and discuss solutions and get the job done quickly and efficiently. MPW have just finished a kitchen renovation in our own home, and to say we are thrilled is an understatement. It looks amazing, and the team were fantastic. Marcus, Danny and Lee, plus Danny's apprentice, were all really friendly and comms were great. They checked in as they went along, to make sure everything was going well and that we were happy. The team also got on really well, which personally I think helped them do a better job as they were all working together. Thanks so much again, and we'll definitely be getting MPW back to do our bathroom next year.

Would highly recommend MPW! Had the lads, James and his apprentice Harvey who both worked really hard. They had to remove 2 radiators and chase new pipes into the walls which they done a fantastic job, very neat and exactly how we wanted them ready for the new radiators to go on once plastered. I was surprised how fast they achieved what was required doing. No mess left behind as they both cleared up and done a great job. Cheers lads! see you again very soon hopefully!!

Not impressed at all by the quality of work and attention to the client. Just a waste of time and money, certainly will not contact again nor recommend. We simply needed to replace an old lead pipe with a new mdpe pipe for our water mains as it was blocking any renovation work in all areas of the property this was running through. The approach to conduct the work was pre-agreed with the water supply. After a couple of missed viewings where nobody turned up at the property, a team was send out to carry out the work, turning up 2 hrs later after experiencing some issues finding a property other contractors and delivery companies didn't have. Not having received any update or confirmation for the completion of the work, going back to the property at the end of the day I found out we were charged more than £200 to simply lay down a new pipe along a trench I digged myself, but not connection was done as highlighted since the beginning as a priority - something I could have done perfectly myself after all the hard work of the trench in the front garden and through the foundations!

Called Matt on Saturday morning as my washing machine was leaking water down the walls of the flat downstairs. He had a plumber out to me within 15 minutes which was amazing given my panicked state! Fast, polite and efficient service. Matt called me back afterwards to check it was all OK which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend.

We have been using Matt and his team for a year now for various jobs and they have always been excellent. Matt always arranges to have someone round really quickly whenever we have an issue or a job that needs doing, and all of the members of the team that we've worked with have been professional and done a fantastic job. Our boiler broke over the weekend and Matt responded to my message straight away (on a Sunday) and we had 2 boiler engineers round our house by 9am the following morning, and a new boiler fitted and fully functional by the afternoon. You simply can't beat that service. Fantastic.

Prompt attention to a leaky toilet and fixed

I contacted Matt on Saturday night and he was round at 10:00am on Monday morning after a fault appeared on my boiler. He was professional and personable - fixed the problem on my Veismann boiler and gave me information on how to prevent the same thing happening. Thank you MPW Plumbing and Heating for giving me the gift of hot water..!!!

Fast response and installation by Matt, Jordan and Harvey. Contacted on Monday evening; our new boiler was up and running by 3pm on Wednesday.

Matt and his team recently installed a new central heating system and renovated our bathroom. The work they undertook was completed to the highest standard, and Matt was in touch regularly to keep us in the loop with progress.The complete installation of the boiler, associated plumbing and six radiators took just two days and caused us minimal disruption.The bathroom renovation took a little longer, but this was to be expected with the extent of work that was required. Matt gave us almost limitless options with regards to the layout and decor, and came up with some excellent ideas that really improved the look of the bathroom.Overall we would not hesitate to use Matt and his team again in the future should the need arise. We contacted Matt and the team when we discovered the boiler was leaking, so we needed help pretty urgently. Within an hour or so of calling them they had been round, diagnosed the issue, quoted, and ordered the part which needed replacing. Tyron came back the following morning to fix it and was polite, friendly and professional the entire time. Brilliant communication from Matt throughout too. Thoroughly impressed with the service these guys offer, we will be using them for all our future plumbing needs!

Matt and the team have been great from the start. We had a competitive price for a boiler replacement having had Matt come round to a visual inspection. The installation team were polite, punctual and very considerate, leaving the place clean and tidy. We will be recommending to others and be using them for our upcoming bathroom replacement project.

Great service, Our heating went down Sunday morning we spoke to Matt who understood that we needed it to be up and running again that day as we had young children in the house. An engineer was round in a few hours and an hour later the boiler was up and running again. Thanks again, would reconmend.
