I visited today 13 August 2026.When I requested help in measuring a broken mirror inside my Campervan,I was refused."We don't measure,you'll have to do that".Was the response,from a director. I feel that this company can,and should "go to the dogs"! Waste of my time.....will never return,and suggest others do the same. Pathetic,and no way to conduct a business.
Brilliant company! We had multiple cracked windows due to football playing grandchildren! Steve and his team gave us a very fair estimate and on commencing the job we found even more damage. To my surprise they held their price saying that they had in fact carried out the work within their original estimated time frame. I cannot imagine a fairer business and have no hesitation in recommending them- if only more companies behaved in this way! Also very pleasant guys - many thanks.
Called into Dorset Glass today as recommended that they can supply non-reflective glass for a picture frame..I must say the service I received was fantastic, I was given a price and then the glass was cut while I waited..which was under 3 minutes!..amazing service and I would highly recommend Dorset Glass..well done!

Inaccurate lead times, was advised they could do a job - double checked a few days before and then came to order and was let down. Poor service.

Bought a piece of glass for my coffee table today and which they produced at lightning speed and had smoothed the edges. Unfortunately the corners were left and are extremely sharp so am wondering whether I can file them down at all ?

When your sliding doors installer has rubbish after care we contacted Steve Palmer at Dorset Glass, to look at our heavy/hard to slide door. He said he’d send his chaps round to assess our doors. Brilliant service and they investigated the issue + gave us good advice. It’s nice to know there are genuine firms out there who are prepared to look into a problem. Great place to go to get glass cut to size. A bit expensive, but then glass probably is and I haven't found anywhere else to go !
the girl on the phone that was taking the measurements seem to be very rude and incompetent she did not seem to under stand englsih and kept wright thing down wrong i have corrected her 5 time befor she seem to under stand what i wanted and a week later she still got it wrong and try to blame me

Very disorganised. Terrible customer service. Pretend they had left multiple messages when we called each time to chase order. One piece of glass was also cut wrong. A few days later when i chased missing piece i was told I could go and collect the anytime (but no offer to deliver it to me despite being their error). Factory knew nothing about order when I went to collect and suggested I waited an hour until reception opened or come back another day. When I said this was really poor service the glass was eventually found 10 minutes later. We tried to support a local business but will use the online supplier recommended by our neighbour next time - even with delivery the online people would have been cheaper and service is apparently spot on. Such a shame!
Made arrangements for a quotation visit but their guy...forgot and can’t come for over a week. Time to find another company, then.
Very poor i wanted a small glass shelf cut and was told 3-5 days with several phone calls 6 weekes passed and i picked it up the same day had it done some where els wile i waited

Was told an order would be ready on two occasions. Very poor service and communication to the point that I had to ask for a refund. Wont use again
I can’t tell you what their products are like but honest staff provided great advice for replacement glass for a display cabinet, it resulted in them directing me elsewhere for a solutions but I admired their honesty to provide a solution rather than just selling their products regardless.
I asked for quotations for a broken glass. This well mannered guy turns up,after some poor office arrangements. I cancelled important work to meet him. He measured up and promised the quotes . Great I thought these are a company known locally I heard nothing 6 weeks later. Would never touch these guys again . Would you like to live with your front door boarded up for weeks?
I ordered 2 pieces of glass, a tabletop and a mirror, with the intention to get them prior to the Christmas break. Though there was a delay in notifying me when my order was ready, they pulled all the stops out to get the glass delivered before they closed for the holidays. The quality was excellent, price was good and delivery notifications great. Very well recommended.
