I have used the services of Smartech quite a few times in the past so when my boiler needed attention I called them. I was given a fair price to repair it but also given crucial advice on future repairs as the boiler was quite old. With further information from Danny and Lee I then decided to have a new boiler fitted which was done a week later. Danny, Lee and Nico did an excellent job and are friendly, knowledgeable and take pride in their work, they also have a great deal of patience as during the fitting I decided to have a new radiator fitted too. We were without hot water for nearly a week before we were recommended to approach Smartech, and got an appointment in two days. Lee arrived an hour ahead of schedule (having rung beforehand), diagnosed the problem (a failed valve motor) and fitted a relacement from his van, all within an hour. Excellent service, easy on-line booking system, and good communication before and after the repair, including easy on-line payment which I used. A really professional service overall.

Very efficient and professional work to replace a boiler.

Had a problem with my hot water not heating , I was impressed with the ease of booking via the website. It was like trades had finally entered the 21st centuary. Immediate email confirmation of booking is made to ease any worries and a call to confirm engineer is on the way is made on the day. Problem was diagnosed immediately and a spare part was held in the van so everything was very professional and efficient. Danny obviously knows his stuff, and is happy to share what he knows about boilers, doesn’t overcharge and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and use him myself again.

I can't express how happy I was with the work carried out by Danny at my flat in Liverpool, My previous plumber had retired and I contacted another one who didn't turn up! A friend recommended Danny and I can't praise him highly enough. He turned up bob on time and rang me to advise he was on his way. He serviced the boiler. provided a gas safety certificate. He also fitted a timer and I was so happy as I live in Yorkshire so can't keep coming back and forth so gave him the flat keys and he was able to complete the work. They came and serviced our home boiler, then successfully quoted for repairs to the hot water system which were completed on schedule a few days later (replaced expansion vessel and multibloc). Smartech were professional and courteous in all communication, and did a tidy and high-quality job (e.g. they re-did some of the pipework without being asked, to improve the system). No fuss, no mess, always on time and inspired trust - couldn't have asked for more! Great job guys, keep up the good work!!

Smartech go above and beyond. We had a freestanding stove & oven fitted and Ian even attached the feet for us! One thing which I will consider for next time is coordinating the installation with the building requirements as the stove pipe stuck out of the wall because we hadn’t created a channel for it, I think communicating this before installing would have been helpful from their side, but everything works perfectly and our builder managed to sort the wall channel out after installing so it’s all gone ok! Would recommend and will definitely call on again, if needed in the future! Also very reliable and arrived promptly on time.

Smartech have spent 3.5 days installing a new central heating system in my house. The work has been carried out efficiently. They gave me dates in advance and a time frame which worked perfectly. The installers were clean and tidy. They were courteous and efficient throughout, talking me through everything they did. The disruption to my house was minimal. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend them without a doubt.

Installation of large unvented hot water cylinder last year and have done routine maintenance on cylinder this year in order to comply with the manufacturers guarantee.

Had a gas boiler replaced in February by Smartech. Was initially given 3 options based on price and capacity, each option being explained for pros and cons. Installation took place with removal of old boiler within 5 hours. Completely satisfied with the day of the installation and with the operation of the boiler since. Would recommend Smartech on price and with customer interaction before, during and post installation.

What a fantastic service! Our boiler gave up the ghost late on Saturday and we had the heat and water back on by Wednesday afternoon. With the weather outside at -2 the guys moved some other jobs around to get us back on. Can't thank them enough for the great advice and the fantastic service.

I can't speak highly enough about Smartech. We returned home from a visit to Ireland to a freezing house as the boiler was not working. One guy came out and said it's 'knackered' and can't be repaired. It is an old boiler so we knew it wouldn't be straightforward. We were alerted to Smartech by a friend who had used them. Lee from Smartech had a positive can-do attitude and sourced a part and got the boiler up and running in no time. I commend their professionalism, promptness in getting back to my call for help and courtesy throughout. When we do replace our boiler next year we'll certainly be getting back to them and I would heartily recommend them to anyone.

This morning Danny came to sevice my boiler, he arrived promptly and as usual he was polite and courteous. This is the second time I've used this company to fix problems at my property that is tenanted. The first was to replace a faulty, leaking boiler and the second was a problem in the kitchen. Both times ive spoken to Danny and they have managed to attend the property within a day or 2. They turn up when they say they will, so they are reliable and efficient and always really polite. I would totally recommend these guys for any plumbing and boiler problems and will definately be using them again if /when the need arises.

Smartech did an excellent job of replacing a radiator and servicing my gas boiler. They are very efficient knowledgeable and clean and were a friendly and helpful team to have in the house.

We used this firm initially to service the gas boiler. We’re also aware that the system required flushing from previous reports. We were pleased and impressed with the boiler service by this firm and contracted them to do a power flush and pump replacement at a very competitive price. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Danny and his team have been our gas engineers for a 2-3 years now and I highly recommend. They are friendly, reliable and knowledgable. They initially serviced and repaired a very old boiler - this required weighing up the best options for cost versus reliability which was really appreciated. This kept the boiler going until they recently installed a new boiler and removed the old water tank. Great service from Smartech on all counts.

On the day of the service Lee the engineer phoned 30 minutes before my appointment and advised he would be there at 9.30. Lee arrived promptly at 9.30. I found him polite and friendly and he carried out the service efficiently and with no fuss. Danny and Smartech were recommended to us by someone who has done several jobs in our house...he was just too busy on this occasion. The service we received was excellent, with Lee, the engineer, phoning us the morning of the job and arriving well within the time he gave. Danny completed an annual boiler service and fixed my gas fire which has been a problem for a while cutting out when on full power. Very efficient and knew his stuff. Would highly recommend.

Our boiler broke down and although Danny was busy, he still came to our house in the evening. He talked us through what was wrong with the boiler and what the steps were to resolve it and the cost to fix it. As the boiler is old, we asked him to give us some quotes for a new installation and he got back to us later that same evening with the quotes. The quotes were fair and reasonable. Would certainly recommend.

Great experience with Smartech. Had issues with multiple radiators not heating up. I was given an assesment of what the issue was and a free quote. On the day the job was scheduled the engineer arrived early as stated and worked all day only taking a short break for lunch. Had pipework newly installed and pump replaced. Finally I was shown how to balance the system. Result......a nice warm house. CH has never worked better!!!!!. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Many thanks Danny.

I can totally recommend smartech gas .. I have recently had a full boiler flush and filter fitted to my boiler . Before I had this done my radiators were only working at half there capacity and unknown to me I had a by pass under the floor as well which Chris found and went above and beyond to sort the problem out .
