Lee and his colleagues have now completed two jobs for us - a new bathroom and fitting a new boiler. With both jobs, Lee and team have been fantastic - the quality of work and attention to detail is second to none.

The team from Mannix replaced our existing boiler, and did a great job . I have to say that we had relied on a British Gas maintenance contract for 15 years, but they were getting more difficult to contact and taking longer to come out and when they finally came out and correctly shut down our boiler for safety reasons in the middle of winter, British Gas said it would take over 2 weeks to even come and give an estimate for a replacement!! Mannix were so different, and a reliable local Liverpool firm, discussed options and got us up and running again. Thanks

Sorry this is a late review, we had a new Worcester boiler fitted in September 2022 I found their service very professional and efficient from start to finish, Ben went on to explain everything that i needed to know when using the boiler as it is totally different from the dinosaur boiler I used to have. So happy with our new boiler, a big thankyou to Ben and the lad that helped him that day sorry I can't remember his name.

Lee and his team continue the friendly efficient service we first enjoyed from his dad Joe many years ago. Very responsive to calls and very quick to visit if or when an emergency. Always reliable and punctual. Very reassuring to have them in the background to keep things sorted out for an elderly person who would be anxious about letting people into the house but who is completely confident in the 'Mannix Team'. Happy to recommend then with no reservations.

We were looking at moving from a conventional boiler system to a newer combi system, due to having a failing pump and inadequate supplies of hot water for the house. As well as the relocation of the boiler. We were recommending Mannix PHG by a close friend who couldn't speak more highly of them, contacted their engineer who was out the following day to look at the property and inspect what needed to be done, he gave us a few options for different installations and prices and what that work would entail. Very easy to reach for communication and quickly settled on a installation and date for the work to be done at a reasonable price. Work took about a day and there was a fair amount to do, talked through all the steps and then got on with it. No dawdling. Very happy with the engineers, really friendly, very conscientious and hard working. Top notch service. We'd highly recommend them for any work you need doing, we're definitely going to return for further works as and when we need it.

Got a few quotes for a new boiler. Two of the ‘big companies’ were both telephone quotes. Ridiculous prices and really bad reviews. Went to Worcester Bosch site who recommended Mannix. Looked at the reviews and wow!! I got a quote and I didn’t go with them because they were cheaper but because Ben made me feel confident with them. They came out, did the job, clean and tidy with full explanation of how the boiler worked. Really pleased, a happy customer.

Mannix carried out a few small jobs for us in 2019. Always arrived at the agreed, time pleasant, very tidy and did a great job. We thought their prices were fair. As a a result, we commissioned Mannix to remove our conventional boiler and install a condenser/combi boiler. We were extremely pleased with the installation. Mannix were very accommodating to those “little” last minute customer additions to the project. Brilliant job and we would highly recommend Lee, Ben and all the Mannix team. Following the Boiler installation, we commissioned 3 more projects from Mannix over circa 9 months - a Bathroom upgrade, an En-Suite upgrade and a downstairs Toilet upgrade. Mannix engineers came to replace boiler yesterday fantastic job done explained all the control etc. Before starting the work put plastic down to make sure none of the carpets got dirty, cleaned up after themselves. Superb job. Will use them again for any other jobs need . I'd highly recommend them. Thanks to all the installed the boiler. Even the price was excellent

Ben, Lee , and Josh fitted a combi boiler had to remove all the old boiler and tanks was a complex job but the team did an excellent job worked hard all day as we had no heating or hot water the job was finished in a day they worked their socks off they were professional clean and tidy every thing explained making sure we new how to operate the system as we were new to combi boilers having a 25yr old boiler could not praise the team enough would deffo recomend excellent job .thank you Mannix .

Lee & his team installed a replacement Worcester boiler for us in August. The quote & options were clear, price was good, my questions all answered. The work was done neatly, they stayed until it was completed and I was very pleased with the result.

Ben Lee Jamie and josh came and fitted my new boier explained everything to us what was going to happen and showed me how to work the boiler. I would highly recommend Mannix Plumbing Heating Gas Ltd for any of your plumbing or gas engineering needs! Considering this was the 4th company I got out for a quote (being paranoid as you hear so many bad stories about being ripped off) I’m glad I came across this firm! The first company never turned up, the second rescheduled & the third I didn’t feel comfortable with! A nice personal touch I found with Mannix was that it was the actual director, Lee, lovely fella who came to quote me which to me proves they take their jobs seriously!! The quote was the 2nd cheapest out of the 3 I got, (which were all pretty similar), but he broke everything down & explained everything until I understood and was comfortable with what was going to happen! He even offered & sorted a finance agreement for me which allowed me to get the better Worcester boiler! He came with 2 other guys, all polite and courteous, on the day and time which was agreed and completed the job in 1 day! There was minimal destruction, which I was worried about, cleaned up after themselves and took all excess rubbish and rubble with them!! Needed a boiler replacement. Left email and got response within couple of days. Made appointment and came out to check. Advised no problem and could do within a few hours. Gave me choice of two dates. Turned up first thing on the Friday morning. Job was a little more difficult than estimated as position of external pipe was different on new boiler so involved a lot of drilling through the external wall. Eventually got the job done by teatime. If I'm honest, left a little bit of a mess in kitchen and the garden. Left a couple of tools, bits of pipe etc out the back, but all in all really happy with the replacement boiler.

Ben and his team recently fitted a new boiler in my work. Ben was helpful, knowledgeable, reliable and professional. He responded quickly to any queries. I would highly recommend Mannix.

Mannix Plumbing have just completed our annual boiler service. Ben was very professional and completed the service quickly and efficiently. I have used Mannix plumbing several times and can thoroughly recommend them, they are very knowledgeable and give good honest advice and quality workmanship. They fitted our new boiler a couple of years ago and have fitted my bathroom as well.

Called up and got an appointment for boiler service in same week. Lee came out and got straight to it. Was really helpful in talking through options with me about my boiler, and felt like he gave me an honest opinion rather than just trying to make a few bob! Will use again!

We needed a new boiler as our new boiler was old and because of that we we needed extra pipes fitted which meant the floor in hall had to be taken up. Lee and Ben came in the morning were gone by teatime and left the place spotless and you couldn't even tell the floor had been taken up. We are really pleased and am now booking them to service our fires, we will always use them in future also they are very reasonable.😁

We recently had an old boiler replaced for a new Worcester boiler. Lee arranged for a power flush to be done and the new boiler was installed the following day. Everything was completed without any mess at all. Lee even came back to explain how the Bosch control worked. I would recommend this company if you are looking to have ay work done at a reasonable price.

I can’t praise Mannix Plumbing enough. My elderly mother who had no heating or hot water for just under two weeks. She had been let down by 3 gas engineers. I got Lee Mannix phone number off a relative. I rang him out of the blue to see if he could help. He was very efficient, friendly and professional. He visited my mum the same day and confirmed her boiler was old and beyond repair. Within 3 days my mum had her new Worcester boiler installed and working. Very affordable and left everywhere spotless. I highly recommend this company they go above and beyond and extremely trustworthy.

Been in my 1914 big old end terraced house for nearly 30 yrs. Very pleased I found this smashing local firm. Had probs before with my old gas fired central heating system and experienced poor service, hiked labour charges and lack of response from other engineers. Mannix staff visited quickly, sorted the main problem then returned at no extra cost to tune the system and due to return to uprade other parts for free. Guys were brilliant, explaining the system and it's workings to me, what needed sorting and why. Straightforward costing of the job, parts and labour (Very very reasonable considering the cowboys I've had round here before) and excellent service. I would highly recommend Mannix. Paul. Anfield.

Absolutely delighted with the job done by Lee and Ben. Had my complete heating system replaced - boiler, radiators, pipework and controls. All left working superbly. Had a Worcester-Bosch boiler fitted with its associated EasyControl system, which gives complete flexibility over temperatures and times for every single room. As approved installers, Lee and Ben knew all about these systems and were able to answer any questions I had about setting up. They give a ten year guarantee and will be returning each year for annual servicing. Their workmanship is first class and keep disruption to a minimum. The first thing they did when starting the job was to lay dust sheets on our carpets and stairs to keep them clean, and removed all rubbish and packaging each day. I would recommend this company without hesitation .

Ben was great, replaced some old valves and water header tank quickly and easily. Very knowledgeable, great prices and also took a look at a dodgy light fitting we had and fixed that too. Used Mannix a few times now and couldn't recommend enough.

I have just had a new boiler fitted to a rental property, following two previous major bathroom installations also done by Joe and Lee Mannix. As always, the work was carried out to an exemplary standard, with the available options being fully explained beforehand. The final cost was exactly as per the (very reasonable) estimate, and I reckon you would be hard pressed to find a local firm to rival Mannix for workmanship and sheer professionalism.

It's hard to find tradesmen that have all the professional qualities that Lee and Ben at Mannix have. They took plenty of time to answer my questions (which I had many!), were prompt on all communications, turned up when they said they would, finished the job in record time, where friendly and polite, priced well and even did some little extra jobs for me! Having looked on various trading websites Mannix had very good recommendations and from the very start they did not disappoint. They gave us an extremely competitive quote and walked us through what the job would entail. They arrived promptly on the day and started work straight away and the job was completed within the day as I was told. I was extremely impressed with the replacement pipework around the boiler as its given us alot more space back in the cupboard in which the boiler sits. My 21 year old boiler finally give up so we had a look round for the best deal for the money in the end we found MANNIX. They came out as promised quote was all done and dusted in no time later that day we was emailed a quote and a very good one at that. We booked an appointment for the to come and fit the new Worcester bosh boiler with an 8years garrantee the 2 lads that came out were very professional and very polite. The work they carried out was to a very high standard and when they were finished the left no mess at all. They then took the time to show us how to operate the new boiler thermostat.
