If your boiler is going to break down, it’s guaranteed to happen on a weekend or over a Bank Holiday weekend - C’est la Vie. Anyhoo - I phoned and spoke to James on Tuesday 7th April, and explained the issue with the boiler. He checked I had a working electric shower and alternative heating in the first instance and then logged a ticket request for a call out on Wednesday 8th April, explaining it would be late afternoon due to workload. He turned up as promised, opened up the boiler and saw instantly what the problem was, explaining the cause and how he was going to fix it. He had it all done and dusted in 20 mins for an amazing price, way below what I was expecting it to be. An amazing service that I can’t praise or recommend highly enough, so much so, I signed up for their boiler insurance cover! Save the number people - you will not be disappointed!

James has been brilliant. I told him about the problems my 86 year mum was having with her boiler and he went above and beyond, fitting mum in quickly so she didn't go without hot water and heat for long. Excellent service, with trustworthy and quality work. I cannot recommend this company enough.

He went upstairs for say 10 mins came back down explained in a a way I could understand what the problem was. He had a part he needed. Went back upstairs. 10mins later. He came back down. I was particularly impressed by their attention to detail. They clearly took their time to ensure the boiler was fully serviced and even carried out a walk-through check of all the radiators. Although there is one remaining issue, they explained it clearly and provided me with practical options for resolving it. Overall, I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of service. I would happily recommend this company to anyone needing a routine boiler service or help with home heating issues.

James and his apprentice were immensely professional in their work. They were able to quickly and efficiently identify the problem with my boiler and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Truly a fantastic service.

Two lads came out the main man James and his apprentice whose name unfortunately I never got. But anyway they were both great. The fitting and set up was first class, showed me how to use the app on my iPhone. The job took a little bit longer due to James showing the lad what to do which I thoroughly agreed with. All, in all they were brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend them.

I needed my boiler and gas heater serviced. I've used James before and he did a brilliant job so I came back to him again. As usual he was professional, knowledgeable, arrived on time and was super friendly. He provided a great service. He gave genuine gas & safety advice. Later on that day I noticed another issue. Again, I contacted James and he came out the next day and sorted it for me. It was a very quick job and he didn't even charge me for it. This shows James is genuine and caring. I first called James as I had a gas leak so had no not water or gas and 2 small kids. James made it a priority to come and sort the leak early morning the next day. Within 1 hour the leak was capped and we now have hot water again. He was friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. Thanks again James.

My heating engineer company came recommended by a work colleague to carry out a boiler service … the team came on time and carried out the service .. unfortunately the boiler was acting up later that week on a Friday afternoon …so I called back asking would it possible if they call round the following week .. James said he could fit me in later that evening as his last call of the day and true p to his word he arrived on time fixed the minor problem and we have had no issues since .. I am very happy with the quality of service I received and will be using this company in the future .. I highly recommend this company

From the first contact to the completion of the work, James's communication was exemplary. James was recommended to me by my plumber who I have used for 25 years. The boiler replacement I wanted was quite complex and I had certain requirements that I needed to be completed as part of the project. I've had a great experience with James at My Heating Engineer, really knowledgeable and very fair on price compared with other quotes. The job was carried out quickly and properly so I can highly recommend!

I called James on a Sunday and he answered the phone and was extremely polite and asked me to send photo evidence of the issue I had. This I did in good time and followed up with text messages, WhatsApp messages and phone calls. In that time (over 2 months) I only received one reply to say he was on holiday and would look into it on his return. This never happened despite follow up communication from me. From my perspective, this is just common decency, nothing to do with business. A bad experience and have now simply given up getting a reply from him.

Possibly the best customer service from a company of this nature I have ever experienced. I have a problem tenant. The engineer not only understood the issue. He proactively worked a solution. The fact that the boiler had an issue. Was shut off and needed to be fixed was almost irrelevant. That work got done efficiently and affordably. It almost seemed liked a bonus. Best experience ever from me.

James is a real pro! We called James out for a second opinion after being told by another ‘engineer’ that our 5 year old boiler was beyond repair and needed replacing at a cost of over £2k. James thoroughly examined the boiler whilst consulting exploded drawings to find where the problem leak might be coming from. It turned out to be an unusual fault but the fix was to grease and refit a washer. Problem solved - £2k saved and a perfectly good boiler not going to landfill. Great work - thanks again!

James was very professional, arrived on time, did an idepth service on our boiler, explained everything he did and what he had found and went out of his way when he found it needed a new gasket he went back to the depot to get the part and came back and fitted it even though it was after 6pm would highly recommend

Just moved into a new property and was having issues with the boiler James came round and checked every part of the boiler even liaised with the manufacturer directly to identify the issue. James ran me through all the detail and gave several options for fixes advising the most cost efficient way, he also emailed over a detailed report of the visit and what he’d done.

I came home after a period away and found the boiler wasn't working. Another firm would not return my calls, so called My Heating after reading it's reviews, and spoke to James who was already in the area, and I was lucky enough that he could come and see what the problem was. Was recommended to my heating engineer by a friend, as we had a broken boiler, James was extremely fast to respond and identified the problem within minutes of his arrival, sadly the boiler was old and replacing the parts was not really cost effective, so we opted for a new boiler, James gave us plenty of options to meet our budget and we settled with a Worcester. The installation went smoothly and fast, the area he was working in was left spotless and the new boiler looks and works fantastically, he also spent an hour giving us instructions on how to use everything including the new hive thermostat. Absolutely excellent service I phoned this company late yesterday afternoon for a second opinion on a job I that in total was going to cost me nearly 500 pound by a separate Company, James was very helpful on the phone told me he could be here for 8 am the following morning got here right on time and fixed fixed the issue in under an hour for pretty much a third of the cost that I'd been quoted by another company, I will 100 percent only be using this company going forward , can't thank them enough

It finally happened; our weirdly noisy boiler finally gave up the ghost. After ringing around of various gas engineers, James from My Heating Engineer called me back. Nothing was too much trouble; he was easy to deal with and pleasant, and he gave me a time that he'd be around. Upon arrival, he introduced himself and got to work on our boiler. Within a minute, he'd deduced that the boiler had, how shall we say, crossed the rainbow bridge and was beyond repair. He carefully explained what had happened and why it wasn't fixable, answering my questions and generally explaining my options. He gave me a no-obligation quote for a new boiler and made it a P1 or priority one job. This means he would shuffle things about so we'd have heating and hot water within a few days. After a few exchanges, checking available boilers and reviews, we decided to go with James and My Heating Engineer. We were not disappointed. James turned up on Thursday morning at 8 a.m. (it broke on Tuesday), and by 3 p.m., we had a new boiler. James went through everything with me, including how the new boiler worked, how the app worked, and the warranty details. Overall, I was over the moon by the experience James and My Heating Engineer delivered. You know that experience you want when you need a tradesperson but rarely get? Well, we got it. I would wholeheartedly recommend James and My Heating Engineer as they are completely professional, trustworthy, friendly, and, above all, fully competent in gas engineering. We won't go anywhere else.

James from My Heating Engineer came around this morning to install a Hive smart thermostat on my ten year-old Ideal combi boiler. He couldn't have been more friendly and professional, did a great job installing the thermostat and took time to explain all features of the system, including how to use the app. And he was very patient and helpful with all my questions. In fact, even before arriving he was great with communication, answering my questions about best type of smart thermostat etc. I couldn't recommend James highly enough and I'll definitely be using My Heating Engineer for all future boiler needs. This is the 2nd times James has help me with boiler trouble. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Most importantly got us back up and running on both occasions quickly and with minimal fuss. Would highly recommend to anyone.

James never let me down, he managed to give me an appointment at short notice and arrived on the day and time he said he would. He quickly found the problem with my central heating boiler, he clearly explained to me what had caused it and what he needed to do to fix it, he also serviced the boiler and gave helpful advice on future maintenance. James is a phenomenal gas engineer. He literally did the impossible. Replacing our old boiler with a brand new one AND moved it from the box room to the kitchen. Overcame issues and was professional with a great work ethic. Don't look anywhere else. This guy is worth his weight in gold!

James from Resolve Energy came to our rescue when we had a leaking boiler. We got lucky in our Google search after calling some other companies too who wanted extortionate amounts of money for emergency jobs or weren’t available at all. James sorted this emergency job in record time. He was friendly, as he patiently explained to us what the issue was and how the boiler needed servicing. He came again to service the boiler and replace some of its parts. Again, such a professional service, and very fairly priced too! Resolve Energy are responsive and reliable - they treat their customers with respect and take time to explain the issues too. I will be booking Resolve Energy again for the annual service. James was great ! I called him the day before he came out as I was having some issues with turning my boiler on from the room thermostat, James tried to help me over the phone but due to me having not much knowledge he came out the next day to look at it for me and fixed it so quick. He also took the time to educate me on how things work and the programming I could do via the thermostat! Wouldn’t go or recommend anyone else 5 star service. Thanks again

Totally recommended. James attended the same day, did gas safety check then removed old cooler, installed pipe work for new gas hob and connected it all. No call out fee and very fair price for the job done. Clean tidy and helpful. Honest and punctual too with excellent communication. Thanks James!

James came to my nan’s as she had a leak from her radiator. James was brilliant and stripped the radiator down and cleaned and re sealed it again. Lovely person, very helpful and very tidy. Cleaned up after himself and we were very happy with his work. Would highly recommend him to everyone.

Resolve came to me highly recommended when I decided to have central heating installed. Having such a system, you want to make sure you go with the right company. James came on time as arranged and did a walk through of the house, discussing where radiators would go and the best position. On the day of installation, again James was on time, as he was every day during the works. He was very clean and tidy and paid great attention to detail. You can see he is really passionate about what he does. James took the time to explain how everything works and is at the end of a phone should I need any help. We are a lettings and property management company based on the Wirral and we have used Resolve Gas Services Limited to replace the boilers on two of our rental properties, They did such a great job at a great price that I asked them to fit a new boiler in my own home, The 'Baxi 800' they fitted was a quality premium boiler with added filters plus a 'Hive' unit so that it can be controlled from a mobile phone which is a nice bit of kit. They also changed the copper pipes and added a drain valve plus an extended flue which we needed on our new roof. Highly recommended, nice people, five star service, Thank you!

Great service. They came out within the hour when our heating stopped working on new years eve. The part needed ordering but this was fixed by lunch time on 2nd Jan. Everything was left tidy and clean when they left. Reasonable prices and the engineer was very professional and friendly.

I called James from Resolve Gas Services to my apartment today to service my Flueless Gas Fire. Not only did he arrive on time but also called me 10 minutes before arriving to tell me he was on the way. When he arrived, he immediately put on over-shoes to protect the carpet and then laid a large dust cloth down over the carpet. These were very good first impressions. He then proceeded to carry out safety checks to the appliance includinthe very important Catalytic Converter safety test. He checked for leaks before and after the service and I was very impressed with everything he did. He was very experienced and knowledgable as well as being very friendly and easy to talk to. He was happy answering questions and was extremely patient in spending time getting the final ‘Flame Picture’ just right, despite it being a tricky process. He gave me piece of mind that a really good professional job had been done and along with all the other excellent reviews, I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others. In fact, I already have!

James, the company owner fitted our new boiler. He kept in contact with my husband about when the boiler was going to be delivered to him, and the likely day he would be available. James fitted the boiler as soon as he could, which meant after a full days work - he worked till 10.05pm. Overall James was very professional and concientious. When he was in our home he was very engaging, polite and his work neat and tidy. When he left he said "I'm on the end of the phone". Work people don't usually say that. We would definitely recommend this company and absolutely use them again.

Turned up on time as stated to do various jobs and never left till jobs were all completed. Very polite and courteous person who i would highly recommend to my family and friends. Never used Resolve Gas Services before but recently had them out to fix a major boiler problem. Engineer was polite, professional, honest about the issues and costs and reliable. Turned up when he said, undertook the job to a high standard, cleaned up after himself and was keen to make sure we were happy about the end result before he left. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

We called them out for an emergency job at night as a screw went through a heating pipe. They came out quickly and made everything safe so we were still ok to have heating till it was fixed. Job was completed to high standard and he was tidy throughout, I would highly recommend to anyone. Very helpful and I would of expected to pay a lot more.
