I can't even express how thankful I am! My Grandfather had a leak from his toilet overnight, flooded the upstairs bathroom and had water pouring from the downstairs ceilings when he got up in the morning. Resolution was fast and efficient and they went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and reassured. They even started the clean up effort! A brilliant service! My toilet cistern cracked over the weekend I was able to stop the leak myself after which I contacted Tony from Emergency Plumbing. He was very helpful and reassuring. There was a mad panic in my house an hour ago with water going everywhere at high speed in our kitchen and we couldn't stop it. We used every towel in the house and they were all soaking in about 2 minutes with the water still gushing. Phoned this guy and he was amazing. Amazing service, kind, helpful, friendly, efficient, reasonably priced and a very thorough job done, highly reccomend😊 I tried to remove a radiator by myself which quickly went wrong. Got great advice over the phone to try and fix it myself, and over WhatsApp where I could send pictures and details to help identify my problem. However I couldn't sort it, so they came over within 40 minutes, and capped off my radiator supply under my floorboards which was exactly what I needed. Highly recommended!

I had no hot water and needed an emergency plumber, called 4 local plumbers none of whom answered their phones!!! Called these guys and they answered within 3 rings. Spoke to him about the fault, he very very kindly talked me through a few steps to help get my boiler working. I’ve just had a nice hot shower, only took a 5min call and didn’t cost me anything. What a lovely thing to do. Also said they are available if anything further was to happen, so I would happily give them a call if I need a plumber in the future.

They charged us over £600 for a £30 job!! Stay well clear! Absolute rip off! We were in shock! They want you to agree a service contract, you do it cause it's an emergency and then they put on VAT, admin costs and 2 hours of work for a 10 min job and send you an enormous bill!! It's a big con! I know because I asked a couple of legit plumbers afterwards. Do NOT use them!

We had a leak which was causing damage to a ceiling. Within 2 hours they were here and within three hours had fixed the leak and got us up a running again.

I had a problem with water leaking from my bathroom through to the room below so contacted these guys. I spoke to a really nice guy on the phone who was very honest to say it would be an expensive job for them to take out part of a wall to find the cause of the leak. So we agreed I would try to locate the leak myself. My partner and I managed to cut into the wall ourselves, find the leak and fixed it. I was really impressed with how he took the time to give me advice about what to do when knowing he wasn’t getting work out of me. Really honest and nice guy. I would definitely use him for real next time. It’s very rare to find someone who goes the extra mile.

Had a problem with my toilet water tank, after chatting over the phone I was directed to WhatsApp, I was met with a prompt response and straight to the point answers for the many questions I had. These guys are absolute crooks. Please avoid them at all costs. I had a burst pipe, charge out etc was £184. They didn’t have the necessary parts to resolve there (after arriving two hours late) and then but assured me I’d be first on the list the next day. A no-show…a few dishonest messages about they’ll be with me in an hour, then another one saying in two hours…again no-show. I was left with a big hole in my wall, no central heating and hot water with two young children when it was chilly. I ended up having to get a different plumber to come in to fix a 10 minute job for a professional and now it’s impossible to get a refund with constant fobbing me off saying someone will contact me. Whilst it’s not much money for a company, as someone with a young family on a tight budget having two lots of plumber bills for one job so my family can wash and have heat is not ok. I’m sure it’s down to the professionalism of the plumber supplied but this is unacceptable- no refund or resolution around month or so after the issue. Avoid these guys and stick to local self-run businesses.

After accidentally damaging a central heating pipe I needed a plumber quick. After phoning a few local companies Emergency Plumber Bristol was the only one that didn't muck me around and arranged to come round the same day. The plumber came around the time stated, fixed the damage, refilled my heating system, all within a hour. Brilliant service, would have given 5 stars but didn't because of cost. They charged me £270 for less than an hours work.

If you use this company watch out for the charges. I called today to get them to my elderly parents house and was quoted an indicative cost of over £300 plus VAT to investigate a water leak. When I pushed back it magically changed to £215 plus VAT. They came and were efficient in finding and fixing the leak (loose flexi pipe fitting to bath tap). They then tried to charge £260 plus VAT and went back to £215 plus VAT when I challenged them. So £258 to visit, take a Bath side off, tighten a fixing. Total time in the house around 30 min. So if you need a prompt call out and repair they can do it. If you want someone you can trust on charging they totally failed.

Good reliable service

Our house is in middle of a renovation and we needed our only useable toilet fixed. Tony visited the same day, was friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing and that it was a straightforward fix for him to do. He was able to fit us in in-between other jobs. He was very honest and explained our second toilet would have been easier and cheaper to fix, but understood that for us at the moment, the other one was in a better place in our house.

Had a small leak somewhere which culminated in water pouring from the ceiling one evening right before I was due to go away on holiday, on a bank holiday! Two lovely guys came within the day, checked it out and diagnosed the problem (just a leaky seal around the shower that let some water pool under the floor and come through) which put my mind at rest. Imagine this - water crashing into your house that you worked years to save for and buy. Every second you sit there wondering how much damage is being done to your beautiful home. Well thats exactly what happened to me yesterday, but I gave these guys a call and they were here is 25 minutes and problem solved. Boom. Bristol Plumbers 247 have been a life saver. I have a really old boiler which is prone to the pilot light blowing out intermittently. I usually hit the self ignite button and problem solved. Unfortunately, when I tried the last time it just didn’t fire. I called up and in no time at all they dispatched a Gas Engineer that quickly resolved the issue. I might need to change my boiler in future, but it’s been working well since - thank you.

Sadly, I can’t leave a good review at all. They did come out quickly and it was New Year’s Eve so from that perspective they are responsive etc but the technician was unfamiliar with our Intergas boiler but disinterested in looking at the manual which I tried several times to read to him. He made a few suggestions/comments like ‘buy a 2nd hand boiler on eBay’ or ‘it’s gone crazy, I don’t know what it’s doing’ before leaving us £140 worse off and listing at least 2 parts that need replacing. Alternative service came the following day and was able to get it working efficiently without replacing any parts in just half an hour.

Drilled through a gas pipe under floorboards on New year's day and Tony was quick to respond, was able to come the next day himself entirely out of his way. Was very friendly quick and professional, given it being a Sunday after New year's the price was also acceptable. Would definitely use again.

Great, professional job, and would highly recommend. Tony was able to offer advice over the phone when a flood was found on return from holiday that was linked to the bathroom shower. This stopped the leak, and he was able to fit in an appointment on a Sunday afternoon where he quickly isolated the leaking shower so other water in the house could still be used. He followed this up by sourcing replacement parts for the shower mixer and fitted them to a high standard, with great communication and in a professional manner. I would recommend Tony to anyone and was very impressed by the service. He told me exactly what he thought needed doing and what this would entail, and kept me updated with pictures, which has saved a total shower replacement along with associated re-tiling etc.

Don't understand any 1 star reviews, Tony visited my property at 9pm when he was supposed to be off work at 5, immediately explained all of the issues and was extremely fast in his repairs and remedies. Repaired a toilet flexi hose and even repaired the back of the toilet panel where we had suffered from an emergency just hours before. Extremely professional and knowledgeable and helped me when it was an extreme inconvenience and at very late hours. I recommend the team to anyone that has any issues especially landlords with the 3 month guarantee and the level of work that was carried out I would recommend Tony and the team to any friends and family. 5 stars.

Polite and quick fulfilled promise

Mixed review here but all truthful and worth reading. First I thought my toilet inlet water pipe was leaking so I attempted a quick fix but then cross-threaded the pipe. I called Tony and he was at my flat within 2 hours. Very friendly plumber and seemed knowledgeable. Fixed the cross-thread and was made aware of my original leak (I told him the situation). I paid £216 for the fix. However 20 minutes after leaving, the toilet continued to leak. I called Tony back and he said he'd return next day. On the following day, Tony attempted to fix the toilet leak for free of charge. He then said if it continues to leak it would be an additional £135 to fix. Unfortunately the leak continued all next week and I tried to contact the company and Tony in person. I haven't heard back from Tony. I am disappointed that my leak for my toilet would cost £351. A price that would pay for a new toilet. Ultimately I paid £216 to fix my leak, and I am still left with a leak.

Tony came over to look at my boiler that wasn't working properly. After fixing it in less than 5 minutes, he then found the source of an intermittent leak that had been staining my neighbours ceiling in the flat below. The leak had been going on for weeks and I was fully expecting to have the floorboards up and a big insurance claim. Tony wasn't even called out for that reason, but itwas ridiculously impressive how easily he figured out when the source was. He was round the next day to finish the job, on time as agreed. Proper legend.

Do not use this company! Called this company to attend to an emergency leak from bathroom toilet. Quoted between £275-£375+VAT to fix leak. Asked me to send photos of toilet so they knew how to deal with it. All seemed good. Person who arrived said it was the flexible connector that looked like it was leaking, changed it, whilst trying to install it caused the downstairs ceiling to fall in, damaged the connector whilst putting it in (as used a crowbar to push it in), had to go collect a 2nd one. Leak worse than before. Whilst talking to this person, they mentioned they were not a qualified plumber but experienced in a different trade! Person then said would need to change a rubber seal, but as 4pm Screwfix now closed so would come back at 10am next day. Leaving me without a toilet (I also have 2 young children!). Person arrived 11.30am next day, changed the seal, leak as bad, spent hours trying to figure out where the leak was coming from. Proceeded to add the original seal to the new one to bodge it together. Flushed toilet once, appeared ok, as leaving said the cost would be higher as had to get an extra part. When I looked up at the toilet from the opened ceiling downstairs it was packed with tissue around where it was leaking. Received my invoice that evening, £635! Charged me £470.00 call out + £78.00 parts + VAT. I questioned the call out charge as not what was quoted. Tony said it was a mistake and changed the invoice to £375.00 + £78.00 + VAT. Used the toilet and it all came out again worse than ever. I called another plumbing company who took a look at the toilet and said there were so many cracks around the pipework that are causing the leaks, it's unrepairable & I need a new toilet, the previous 'plumber' should have seen this and just installed a new one! Please DO NOT use this company. They send unqualified 'plumbers', spend hours trying to figure out the issue, bodge the job, try to overcharge what they originally quote you and overcharge you for parts - they charged me £78.00+VAT for two parts that cost £21.86 (inc VAT) from Screwfix.

I called on Friday afternoon and was told to expect an engineer between 3.30 and 5.30. I was then told 20 mins later it would be Saturday between 9 and 12. I was then called to say between 11 and 2. August2017 Tony came to rescue me from a leak in my he kitchen. Had send someone that was supposed to come by noon but got stuck with some other job so he came himself. Job done!!!! Not cheap but can't complain when they're ready to sort an emergency! 5 stars!!! UPDATE December2018 Boiler stopped on a Friday. Tony came on Saturday morning, detected the problem and it worked until the next day but went off again. There was a faulty part to replace. By Tuesday the job was done!!! Brilliant again! 5+stars!!!
