Tyrone and his team were fantastic throughout our bathroom renovation. He helped us to design the space, think through options and how we could achieve what we wanted. The team worked efficiently and tirelessly to get the space complete on time and we are really happy with the final product. Whilst we had a few snagging issues at the end, Tyrone ensured these were attended to promptly and rectified at no cost - I would really recommend them.

Went from an out of shape bathroom with a sloping floor to a neat tidy and level shower room. Abdul literally took it back to the bare bricks and gave us a great new look.

Tyrone’s team recently came and ripped out my old bathroom and fitted me with a new one. From the start, Tyrone was very communicative, providing a quote straight away and keeping me informed. He was honest from the start about what to expect. Work started straight away as he had availability, and the team even worked over the weekend to have everything done in 9 days. This is particularly important as the bathroom was double tiled and required new plasterboard due to the state of the walls underneath. Abdul who was in charge of the team kept me informed every single day about the work they would do that day and if there would be a change of plans. Would highly recommend Tyrone and his team if you’re looking for a new bathroom.

We recently had our bathroom renovated by this company and unfortunately the experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. Communication and reliability were major issues throughout the project. No direct phone numbers were exchanged with the onsite team before works began, which made organising access and resolving issues unnecessarily difficult. We repeatedly explained to Tyrone and Abdul that my partner and I are shift workers who work 12-hour days and nights, and we always informed them in advance when we would be on nights and needed to sleep during the day. Despite this, workmen frequently arrived late or at times different from what had been agreed. On multiple occasions we were assured they would arrive at 8am, only for them to turn up around midday while we were trying to sleep after night shifts. Sometimes workmen did not turn up at all on promised dates, despite confirming they would attend. The job ultimately dragged on for over three weeks, far longer than expected, largely due to poor organisation and missed attendances. There were also serious issues with the standard of work and accountability. During installation, a leak occurred which caused water to come through our downstairs living room ceiling. When I phoned to report this, instead of an apology I was told everything had been done properly and it “shouldn’t be leaking.” When Abdul attended to inspect it, he initially suggested it was because I had “got the floor wet.” Even if that were the cause, that would clearly indicate a problem — it is a bathroom floor. Eventually he agreed to investigate further and advised us not to use the bathroom until he could return the following day. The repair involved cutting a hole in our living room ceiling. In addition: Workmen regularly arrived late without notice. On some agreed dates, no one arrived at all. Water was turned off without proper coordination, causing issues for the hairdressers next door. On one occasion a workman left our back door open despite us explaining we had just brought home new kittens. This was extremely upsetting and could have ended badly. Large bags of rubbish were left at the property, including wooden boards, PVC piping, grout, paint and general debris. The snag list was handled poorly and it felt as though raising issues was an inconvenience. The grout work and paint finishing were substandard and we ultimately had to pay another company to correct them. A photo of the completed bathroom was uploaded to Google without our consent. We may not have objected, but not being asked felt unprofessional given the poor standard of work and lack of communication. I told Tyrone directly that I was unhappy and would be stopping works after the final payment. He asked me to call him, but after weeks of chasing issues and dealing with ongoing problems I was exhausted with the process and did not feel it should be my responsibility to pursue further discussion. I heard nothing more from them. The bathroom is functional, but the overall professionalism, communication, organisation and finishing standards fell well below what we expected. We would not use this company again

Tyrone and the team from Assist Plumbing did a great job, which involved completely redoing my bathroom and utility room. They were really accommodating throughout and did everything to a high standard. As I live in flats, they were always respectful of my neighbours, which I really appreciated. They were great to deal with and I’m really happy with how it all turned out. Would definitely recommend.

Tyrone and his team did not shy away from the job and used their expertise to create an amazing ensuite for us. We recently used Tyrone and his team for a bathroom refurbishment in a tenanted property. The quote was fair and reasonably priced, the work was to a good standard and quite importantly - they stuck to the pre-agreed schedule and even worked weekends to ensure they had finished on time, before the tenants returned. Would recommend!

Tyrone and his team installed a bathroom in our house. It was a very tricky job with a lot of curve balls along the way but every single issue was dealt with really well and discussed with us before decisions were made. We are so happy with the result! Also, there were a couple of snagging issues a couple of weeks after they’d finished and they happily came and fixed them. I can highly recommend them for both their skills and their communication.

We had a full bathroom overhaul by Tyrone and his team. Nice, polite team and Tyrone is fantastic - super nice guy and easy to talk to. The quote was reasonable and transparent. Most importantly, he stuck to it without fuss. He also sticks to his word and I appreciated how easy he was to get hold of and discuss issues and queries. He worked with my changing (and expanding!) requirements with a smile and went above and beyond to finish quickly and keep the price down at every point. For all of this - we really couldn't have asked for a better tradesman. The reason for the 4 star over a 5 is due to a few points where lines of communication seemed to break down with the team (end details being different to what we'd specified) and some parts of the work having a slight lack of finishing off - detail looked a bit shabby in a couple of places. It also needed a thorough clean but I didn't mind doing that. Overall, we're extremely happy with our new bathroom! If I could give a 4.5 I would. We would definitely recommend Tyrone and be back in touch with any future projects if he'll take on a fussy customer again!

Tyrone and his team did an amazing at renovating our bathroom. Every single person who attended to work on it was a delight to have in the house and they did a great job. Tyrone and his team were really reliable and the communication from the start was excellent. The quote was very clear, so I knew what to expect before the work started. Sadly I have found it hard to find reliable and trustworthy tradespeople in the past, but Tyrone was upfront all the way along, with no hidden costs. The team were also flexible around my working pattern to ensure that I was able to work from home uninterrupted when I needed to. I'll definitely use Assist Plumbing and Bathrooms again!

Tyrone visited to discuss a difficult underfloor heating job with many unknowns. He was very helpful and professional, providing a quote that covered all eventualities. In the end, we decided not to proceed, but would opt for Assist without hesitation in the future.

I submitted my dream of ensuite, Tyrone and Co made it happened to my exact specification and beyond ! I am trying to post this for days now. I am not sure what is wrong but my review does not appear on google. We had a bad experience with Assist. Ty is a great guy, but they weren’t on time, they asked for quite a bit more money. Quality wasn’t good and we had to pay extra on top. Also the job had gone way over the agreed deadlines and we had to remind agreed fixes and items many times even after all job wasn’t completed fully and we had to agree at the end just not to keep the job going for another one or two months. Unfortunately I can’t recommend Assist.

Tyrone did a great job on our bathroom and kept us advised of every step throughout the process and how long everything would take to be completed. Service was exceptional and very reasonably priced, as such we will be contacting Tyrone to install our kitchen in the near future.

Ty did a full bathroom refurbishment for us and we couldn't be happier with the results of the work he did. The tiling was smooth and well done, the parts were all installed correctly and we felt he really went the extra mile with his work! Will be hiring again when we need another bathroom done and would strongly recommend him to anyone looking to get a new bathroom.

Assist Plumbing & Heating is an excellent company. They have installed two new boilers and thermostats at properties belonging to me and produce my annual gas safety certificates. Tyrone runs this operation extremely well. I can’t recommend this company enough.

Adam and Liam diagnosed our central heating problem. This problem had baffled their for-runners. They'd cured it, and rectified a couple of other items, all in a morning. Brilliant!
