Bedding plants like they used to be! Had a lovely selection of plants delivered which were well developed and obviously grown and treated carefully. Also had a load of bags of bark mulch which is great quality and looks brilliant in the garden. A faultless service with free delivery locally if you order over a certain (fairly low) amount. Will be using again for sure, so nice to have trays of bedding plants with no weedy or dead ones in and grown so well. Highly recommended, very nice people too.
I have had logs & more recently compost from Lance & his family for years. They are rhe best place to buy these.
We have had logs from Mayfield's over a number of years and found them to be very good quality logs offering best value, staff are polite and reliable, this year is no exception.
I really rate mayfield supplies. I recently purchased a log burner and needed logs over Christmas. I was under no illusion that I would get any over the festive period as I knew it would be a really bust period for them. But despite this I called mayfield supplies and they really helped me out by almost immediately bringing 3 bags to their home for me to collect. I was especially impressed by the service provided by Mayfield, particularly as my order was made during 'lockdown.' They provided helpful advice over the 'phone, in a friendly and professional manner. They supplied me with grow-bags, lettuce plants, tomato plants (my greenhouse is now bursting with ripening tomatoes) and French marigolds. Everything was of a very high quality and has served me really well over the past months. I was impressed by their pricing, too.
I was let down with the supply of Eco Mix from a local supplier (changed the delivery date, didn’t tell me and then didn’t respond!) and a friend recommended Mayfield Garden Supplies. I called to ask for help with a next day delivery and they came up trumps. A loose load of steaming mix arrived the next morning and and a good rate too! I’ll be using Mayfield for all my garden supplies from now on. Nice people to deal with too!

I have contact with Regards to my dry seasoned logs in a dumpy bag. All damp and mouldy with fresh moss on the bark.

Have been using Mayfields for the supply of my mixed wood loads and coal for the last 3 yrs or so. This last year I had 3 deliveries from them.. Always courteous and on time. Can highly recommend them. Lovely family run business with the personal touch Slight blip with last load as wood was very wet and hard to burn ... but will forgive them this time and intend to use them again.
