I can't thank Andy and the Team enough. After visiting several tyre places and garages with no one being able to remove my locking wheel nuts, Elite managed to remove them the same morning of me contacting them. I have been converting an ageing yacht from diesel to electric drive. Constrained by the usual problem - money - I messed with various ideas and made a few mistakes but the project has been saved by the positive approach and experience of 'Elite'. The thing that needed their input was the mounting tower for the wind turbine. It's quite heavy at 18kg. After a bit of advice I got some 'off the shelf' 316 tubing from somewhere. Andy, the boss, found suitable hardware in a drawer, probably marked 'stainless stuff'. Brilliant! There was a bit of welding and, because I don't have a car, the two braces for the tower were delivered to the boatyard. Awesome! I can find no fault with such a positive, supportive approach to small bespoke jobs. They have also supplied me with a few small offcuts as well, cut to length. The wind turbine is now working well though the boat is still on land. Thanks again everyone!

I contacted Elite on the offchance they could repair a piece of furniture frame but I wasn't confident it could be repaired. All the staff were great to deal with and the repair looks and feels better than the original weld!!

These objects may be functional or strictly decorative, for example furniture, decorative art, sculpture, clothing, food items, household items, and tools and mechanisms such as the handmade clockwork movement of a watchmaker. Artisans practice a craft and may through experience and aptitude reach the expressive levels of an artist. Now a days we see the word everywhere a loaf of bread, a cup of coffee, cheese or even a mouse mat. Elite however should be renamed Artisan Fabrication & Welding as they meet the true definition of Artisans. Following their success with the balcony they seemed the only choice to replace the very rusty, metallic green railings that are a sight around many roads in Poole thanks to a local house builders signature railings and presumably a job lot of metallic green paint. Artisan Fabrication & Welding came out again and discussed a railing with a few different options although of course with Elite if you can imagine it they will build it ! The original design was to match the green tinted windows of the house, and simple hand rail and no lower gate. Elite being Elite brought round some off cuts of metal and mounted some spare glass to mock up the look which obscured too much so they quickly changed plans to a full pane of clear glass. The hand rail was mapped out, formed off site, brought back to site, needed adjusting off site (using a 5 tonne crane !) and then brought back for final fitting. The welding was mostly done on-site by Steve. The welds were a demonstration of how good welding usually looks done in a shop, ground back an polished and these were the bare welds ! When I later decided a gate was needed they happily adapted the hand rail and manufactured a gate to my specification, which like everything, was meticulously fitted by Steve & Matt before being left for a week or so for me to decide if any changes were needed (of course not) and to decide upon the final colour scheme – which of course is whatever I imagine. Another point with Elite is every part is top quality – the machined stainless steel risers for the hand-rail, the self-closing hinges & magnetic catch all would not look out of place on a luxury hotel or yacht. Again the final result is nothing short of spectacular and genuinely artisanal. Elite also made some perfect cappings and frameless glass with the same attention to detail. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post 2 reivews but the photos show the level of workmanship achieved throughout these projects.

My father in law was struggling to get out of his property with his new mobility scooter as the threshold and height to the street was too high. We tried other specialists ramp companies but nothing worked. I contacted Elite Fabrication, and within a couple of days, Andy came and measured up, and talked through some ideas. A week later, the ramps were delivered and tested. Everything is perfect. A very happy father in law ! The service, communication and helpfullness from Elite Fabrication has been second to none. Stopped over in Poole to do a few projects on our boat as we cruise west. Elite welding modified our tiller within the morning > I walked in at 0930 and picked up the finished prod I ct at 1230, with top notch work. Now we have self steering again! Thanks guys @senders.keep.adventuring

Andy and the staff are just old school, the level of customer service I have received is 2nd to none, probably the best I’ve ever seen.
