This place absolutely goes above and beyond to help people! Came today with a couple I support. Mark helped us so much, finding all the plants we needed, getting us a trolley when we started going mad picking plants and explaining how and why the nursery started. It was lovely and such a credit. So to go with the beautiful pots and plants, we got given time, patience and understanding. 10/10
Love this place. The plants are extremely good quality and the prices cheaper than big places. We also love the ethos in supporting members of staff with lesser abilities than others. The advice, stock, welcome and experience are well worth a visit - hence why we travel from the other side of B mouth!

I am very grateful to Mark for helping me choose the right shrubs for my needs. He was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire purchasing process and offered me the best advice and customer service. The screen Elaeagnus, potted Elaeagnus, and screen Star Jasmine were all healthy and looked stunning. I’d also like to thank Brandon and another gentleman — whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch — for carrying the heavy screen Elaeagnus to our back garden during my first purchase. For my second purchase, Ed and Brandon kindly carried the screen Star Jasmine and other shrubs to our back garden. Ed was incredibly kind in helping move a couple of my existing plants to better locations, which I really appreciated as an inexperienced gardener trying not to kill more plants! He was also very knowledgeable and offered helpful advice on pruning some of my plants. I cannot thank these lovely people enough for their kindness and support.

Popped in today to replace some border plants. Knowledgable and helpful staff, great variety of plants. It feels like the horticulture comes first, a nursery rather than a plant production centre and saleroom. Outside of the plants, a visually impactful clock.
Chesnut is unmatched locally for it's variety of plants and expert advice. Great help with soil types and what to get for tricky areas of the garden as well as specialist houseplant care. The quality of the plants are superb. If you buy it from Chesnut you'll only have to buy it once. Practically everything in my garden is from here and it's all strong and healthy. They also sell beautiful art, books, gifts and every type of plant pot imaginable. They support local people in a range of ways from work opportunities to showcasing crafts. Don't bother with chain garden centres go here you will not regret it.
Although it's not one of the larger nurseries it has a good selection of plants nicely laid out and reasonable prices.
On my visit I found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The variety and quality of the plants on offer is impressive! Also a decent, well priced selection of gardening supplies in the shop. This local charity is a great idea which clearly works.
What a wonderful place. Top quality grown on site plants, beautiful gifts locally sourced. Very knowledgeable advice on plants and their upkeep by friendly qualified staff. Cant recommend highly enough You'll never want to go to another garden centre.

Efektowne kompozycje roślinne sprawiają, że chce się zatonąć w tej zieleni i koniecznie wybrać coś do swojego ogrodu. Oferowane rośliny są dorodne w doskonałej kondycji, na ekspozyzji czysto i schludnie, widać, że personel nie próżnuje. Obsługa jest bardzo miła. Moje zakupy uważam za udane i na pewno jeszcze tam zajrze

Very friendly staff. Lots to look at and choose from. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures there but its very smart and the proceeds go to charity which is a lovely touch. Picked up this fire pit which looks great in the garden
Visited Chestnut having found out that they stocked a plant that we had been after for a while. We weren’t disappointed, the staff were incredibly helpful and the nursery is really well organised. A real pleasure to walk round and a very good selection of plants.
A little gem and well worth a visit. Whilst not the biggest of places, there was ample parking, clear signage, a friendly welcome from all the staff and some plants which you would struggle to find elsewhere. There were a number of exotic/tropical plants on show when we visited and all were very reasonably priced, we will definitely be returning soon.
I am a lover of different types of plants and have an affinity towards succulents and hard-to-get plants in the UK and this Nursery caters to all of that. They have nice pots and even nicer plants with a large selection to choose from; succulents, terrariums and garden plants. I was honestly surprised how well organised it was and how lovely the staff are. Will definitely be back when I'm on the hunt for more plants.

Looks great; obviously MUCH work done in potting up beautiful displays, ready to grace anywhere; and collections for large and small facilities- my Balcony will be splendid. The moment you go in, you are aware much effort, successful work, has gone into presentation in the whole place; so attractive one is very tempted.... And a coffee, enjoyed, in contemplation, can help the decisions. And it just a 20 minute walk from me !! Frank
Honestly the best garden center in the whole area!! Plants are well cared for and presented beautifully. You can find some special variety. They raised their own plants. Also the price is very reasonable. And it's a charity. I can't recommend it enough.
We bought a bunch of plants from Chestnut Nursery for our garden. we were lucky enough to be helped by Nick, who was not only an expert gardener but also a really friendly, knowledgable guy who took the time to talk us through the different options and how to plant them etc. The cost was considerably lower than other nursery's and they also do amazing charity work so all in all I cannot think of a better place to buy plants in Poole. Thanks again!
I visited for the first time on Saturday and was so impressed. An excellent variety of plants including the unusual that you don't see in garden centres. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be coming here for all my plants.
As a full time gardener i can highly recommend this nursery.The plants are not only in excellent condition, but for some of us it offers the chance to acquire some unique and unusual specimens too. Prices and personnel are quality !!
Plants and flowers grown by people with mental health issues. The plants are healthy and reasonably priced. Their nursery has been redone and is a pleasure to visit. Staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Chestnut nurseries are closed until march 2019 while the shop is rebuilt. There is a small pop up shop at 26 kingland crescent.
Really top marks are in order here. A near perfect garden centre which takes care of its customers and is well worth a visit.
