Whyman Electrical Ltd

Really impressed with the quality of work and service again from George and team. Expert advice, flawless installation of our hall picture lights, clean and tidy afterwards, and totally reliable. They’ve completely transformed the space into a gallery-style hallway. Highly recommend

Absolute lifesavers - cannot recommend highly enough! After being badly let down by another electrical contractor, we were in a desperate situation with a full house rewire needed and other trades already scheduled in the run-up to Christmas. Enter Whyman Electrical, our absolute Christmas miracle! From the first contact, they were incredibly positive and responsive about our urgent timeline. George and his team didn't just promise to help, they delivered spectacularly. They worked 12+ hour days, including weekends, to get us back on track. Their dedication was genuinely remarkable. The quality of the work was outstanding. Every light fitting, spotlight, socket, and switch they installed is clearly from the high-quality end of the shelf (definitely not budget range items). It's evident they take pride in what they do, and it shows in the finished product. What really stood out was how professional and courteous the entire team were. They were incredibly polite throughout, and notably compared to other trades we've had on site they were exceptionally clean and tidy. They cleaned up after themselves as they went along, which made such a difference. And the price? More competitive than any other quote we received. Genuinely excellent value for the level of service and quality provided. If you need electrical work done, honestly, save yourself the headache of being let down and the hassle of chasing multiple quotes. Just contact Whyman Electrical. First class service from start to finish!

We had a broad range of electrical work to be performed, from loft based extractor fans to hard wired smoke detectors to outdoor garden lights and interior lights. Whyman Electrical offered great and sound advice, they surveyed all prior to the appointment date and turned up promptly on time and worked neatly and efficiently. I would highly recommend.

Another excellent job by Whyman Electrical. Very tidy workmanship. Thoroughly recommend them.

Excellent company, who i would not hesitate to recommend. Totally professional. Thank you

Had work done by George and the team, great value, very clean and tidy and on time and great value. Couldn't recommend them more!

Highly recommend Whyman Electrical. The whole team were great, hard working and polite. The job was completed to an exceptional standard and we are very pleased with the result.

Excellent service, gave me the different options and costs depending on my preference for different sockets and units. Came when they said they would and were neat and tidy. Highly recommended

Highly recommend. Cracking company and very professional with lots of knowledge. had lots of work done by these guys and wouldn’t use anyone else. All very polite and get the job done how you like with no fuss.

We had a great experience with this electrical firm. George and his team were efficient, experienced, and a real pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They arrived on time, worked in a clean and tidy manner, and were polite and professional throughout. The job was completed to a high standard with no fuss at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would happily use them again.

Whyman Electrical provided excellent service. They were punctual, very professional, and worked efficiently. Everything was completed to a high standard, and they left the place neat and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Punctual, all the team work hard, polite, faultless work, and exceptionally clean and tidy. A quality small company, investing in the next generation of tradespeople.

I have been using Whyman Electrical for a number of years now and would not consider going elsewhere. The quality of work is excellent, and they offer great value for money, you can probably get work done slightly cheaper but you get what you pay for and the cheaper cost reflects inferior parts and components; in addition to the quality and value provided, the team are reliable always turning up on time, they leave my home neat and clean, and the Team are totally trustworthy, I have no qualms leaving them to complete work while I am not at home. Friendly and highly professional, I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

From the initial contact to the service on the day, George and his team were nothing but professional. They visited to assess the work that needed doing and provided a quote in the timeframe advised. They were friendly and professional throughout & wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend their services.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. My final bill was at least a third higher than expected. Whilst everything was completed satisfactorily eventually despite the advice popping in and out to complete the job. The supply of fixtures cost at least twice the price rather than sourcing my own sockets and pendant fixtures. Ensure you have everything in writing before engaging this firm. The electricians were polite and Dawid in particular worked extremely hard.

Absolutely 💯 very prompt, replies to calls, excellent job, super tidy, and helpful, great work ethic highly recommended

George and the team were very professional, could not have been more helpful. They worked on a media wall installation with another company who was fitting the furniture. Went out of their way to align with the other company to make sure everything went smoothly. All the installations were done well, and left neat and tidy. Will definitely use again!

Excellent and fast service! This was a small job at our scout hut which George did the day after calling him. Very pleasant to deal with I will use him again if the need arrises. I would definitely recommend this company.

We had the absolute pleasure of having George Whyman (at short notice) come and install several ceiling lights in our sitting room. 10/10 excellent, efficient installation. He is an experienced professional, supportive information and guidance given. We mention our dislike of our kitchen light's. He could not have been more helpful and efficient. Replacement lights were installed 😌 👌 🙂. George and his team are organised, skilled, qualified and friendly. We have no hesitation in giving a big recommendation, so much so that They will be returning in January to carry out another installation for us. Thank you, for all your hardwork and leaving our home tidy and hoovered.

Great service! My tenants rang to say they had a smoke alarm, part of an integrated system, beeping but were unable to open the case to see if it simply needed a new battery. I telephoned Whyman Electricals and George arrived within a couple of hours and quickly sorted the problem which turned out to be more complicated than just a battery. Really excellent service - and very reasonably priced for a prompt call out and efficient repair. I can highly recommend!

Superb - top-level service throughout - from original contact, quote, jobs done, cleaning up and follow-up. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with service received from Whyman Electrical Ltd, would highly recommend.

George and the guys at Whyman Electrical couldn't have been more helpful, efficient and courteous. They attended to a small job my rental property and had everything done and completed within a few days of my initial contact. First class and thank you guys!

I cannot highly enough recommend this company. I had a problem with my lights not working. They came out promptly to find the reason for this. They were extremely polite and professional especially David, George and Eddie. And they were very clean and tidy

Would highly recommend this company. Polite, considerate knowledgeable and attentive people. Always punctual.

Whyman Electrical fitted an EV charge point and have done an excellent job. George and his team are efficient, friendly, polite, tidy and offer a great service at a fair price. Cannot recommend highly enough.

George & his team were a pleasure to deal with - such a professional, friendly, & helpful service. Highly recommended.

Small job for Whyman but carried out tidily and efficiently , I am very pleased

We had some very unsightly wiring and several plugs, above our back door that all needed to be hidden. George was great to deal with from start to finish, and the two young lads that came and re- routed the wiring, and changed the plug points were very polite and friendly, they were also very quick, clean and efficient, and did an amazing job. We were so pleased with the end result....and would highly recommend George and his team.

Very helpful and positive work from this company. They are always reliable and respond quickly to problems.

Very prompt & pleasant service. Would recommend & use again. Thank you.

Whyman Electrical installed some new kitchen LED lights for us. Super efficient from the time taken to quote and complete the work. George and Davide are friendly, polite and take great pride in their work. I was impressed with how tidy they left the area afterwards too. Will definitely be using them again for any other electrical work.

Great service and lovely people. They came over to help same day I called, found problem, made a special trip for the parts and fixed everything. Recommend 100% 🥰

Family run business which is friendly, efficient and competent. I can recommend.

I have been using George for many years now and he has never let me down. Always punctual, reliable and completes every job to a very high standard. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for today.

Great service. Arrived on time and very professional. Care taken to ensure everything was clean and tidy. I will be using them for any future work needed.

Excellent executed job, would not hesitate to recommend George Whyman for any electrical requirements.

Cheerful, friendly, tidy and polite. Can totally recommend for anything electrical.

From start to finish, George was the consummate professional. I wanted an unusual heat-recovery extractor fan system fitting, which turned out to be a bigger job than initially expected due to the size I'd ordered. Once we'd realised this, George helped me decide on a smaller item which he wouldn't need specialist equipment to install. From there it went smoothly, and the end result is very professional and neat, and at a very fair price. Happy to recommend Whyman Electrical and we'll be using him for any future electrical work required. ... and indeed we did - a few months later, we asked George to replace an old electric vehicle charger with a new, smarter one, together with some other wiring. Everything was carried out perfectly, with a proper certificate provided afterwards too.

Whyman Electrical have carried out two jobs for me involving internal and external lighting. I found George easy to communicate with, punctual and reliable. An extremely tidy worker and a pleasure to deal with. He did an excellent job for a fair price. I would recommend them without hesitation.
