I am so impressed with Elektra , after getting three quotes not only were they the most reasonable price Uri was the only person who explained about getting smart with my energy usage. The whole team turned up on a cold rainy January day and completed the entire solar installation in just one day , solar panels , inverter, battery and car charger. The next day the sun came back out and I not only had free electricity all day but the charge in the battery was enough to run the house all night as well .I would highly recommend using Elektra if you are looking to save money on your bills.

The work carried out was done to a very high standard and the guys worked really hard to install the battery down the side of the house out of the way and find an optimum route of cables from the panels to the battery, extremely neat installation, top job. The team did a wonderful job of designing, planning and installing our solar panels, battery and inverter system. The design was tailored to our needs and the constraints of the location and great advice was given at all stages of the planning process. The organisation of the installation was first rate and the communication with us of what was happening at every stage was very good. Scaffolding Monday, delivery Tuesday and installation Wednesday and Thursday. The roofing and electrical work was very professional, very neat and tidy. Special mention goes to Tom who not only did a brilliant job of the electrical installation but was a delight to deal with. Commissioning went smoothly and the few minor snags were quickly ironed out and now everything is working well. I would definitely recommend Elektra, easy to deal with and a great team of people! I researched businesses to install a solar array, batteries and inverter. A company who could undertake the plethora of paperwork to achieve our aims to utilise solar from an environmental perspective but also reduce our monthly energy costs. I met Uri… He visited and we came up with a plan, changed it quite a few times but had it installed alongside our existing FiT from a decade ago. Along with the installation team, the solar panel installers, electricians and Mike at the office we’ve had great service. At the moment we’re still learning to maximise our income and each time I write and ask a question Uri is on the phone with an answer. This isn’t an “install & run” business. They care, they want the customer to be happy and get a good experience. To my mind this is a business with a future and will be around when I need my next upgrade. I’m now learning how to fine tune the settings and get the best return & still getting suggestions on how to maximise our income.

Fast to respond and booked me in for an EV cable replacement same week after some accidental damage. Fixed a few imperfections from the original installers on the cable run and full safety check carried out prior to handover. Done in 3 hours to a high standard and perfectly acceptable rates for professionals- very happy and would use again.

Electric Car Charger install at home: Straight forward and painless. Great as they are local. Came out to house to estimate quickly and followed up professionally. Arrived when said they would and sent over all certification without prompting (building control, etc). Handled paperwork and comms with electricity board. Electrician who did job was polite and approachable.

Uri’s customer service is second to none. He responded promptly to all our requests and accommodated our visits at short notice. The installation, overseen by Mike, was smooth and efficient and the house appearance seemed little changed . We like the fact Elektra is local and we can contact them easily should there be any problems down the road.

Just had a fairly large system put in by Elektra. The scaffolders actually took their scaffolding away as soon as the job was finished instead of leaving it for months, the roofers did a very neat job of installing the panels and did so remarkably quickly (in under a day), and the electricians did a neat job of installing the inverter and associated equipment. All very professional, stress free and friendly. I've also had beyond the call of duty help in sorting out my SEG application, which Eon were being difficult about, so all in all a very good experience.

Elektra installed a battery storage system at our offices to capture the excess energy produced by our solar system. The entire team were friendly, professional, tidy and very knowledgeable. Elektra were in constant communication to keep us up to date and have provided after-sale care to answer any of our questions. Can’t recommend them enough, five stars.

Nice to have proper survey carried out on site, walked through instalation and sorted a "Plan" out. Quotation arrived promptly, was roughly same cost as others but with the company being local give Elektra the advantage. ( they use same roofers and scafolding contractors each time) The instalation happened on the day planned , all went smothly and we were generating by early evening. would highly recomend

First class solar installation by real experts Great experience from design to installation. Elektra spent time understanding our energy requirements, looking at alternative options from solar panel configuration, inverter size and battery capacity to meet our energy requirements. Options were provided with costs to ensure we could achieve a specific budget. The options also suggested an Eddi solution for hot water which was a great addition. Uri and Mike went the extra mile to ensure that the installation was done in the best way possible for our property which had some specific challenges. Uri and MIke ensured that the scaffolder, roofer and electricians all worked together to deliver a great solution in a timely manner. When we had questions about the apps to manage our electrictiy we found Mike very responsive. Three weeks after installation we have imported close to zero electricty from the grid and have been able to export a good amount.

Attention to detail, no issue to small (25m of armoured cable a house, garden, and gargage in the way to mount my Electric Vehical Charger), prompt and communication excellent with the EleKtra team. We are very happy with the service from Elektra. We had been thinking about PV panels for some time and have had a few quotes over the last year or so, but we were reluctant to go ahead as we weren't convinced that our roof was suitable for generating enough power to justify the cost. But then Elektra 'popped up' on Facebook one day and we decided to proceed as they were very responsive when I contacted them, and after a site visit from Uri we were convinced that it would be worthwhile, and so we soon had a very competitive quote and proposal that gave us three options depending on our budget. I cannot fault the service and the quality of the work, and the professionalism of all involved. Materials and personnel have all turned up as and when expected. A good local company who are good to do business with. Very detailed cost breakdown on quote which showed complete transparency. There were some difficulties during the fit that we managed to navigate. I'd recommend this supplier, I know they will be receptive if I have question and queries in the future as my familiarity with the system grows.

I couldn't recommend ELEKTRA Smart Energy enough. After deciding on the GivEnergy brand for my Battery, EV and Solar install, I wanted to stay local and support a local business. As an approved GivEnergy installer (amongst other brands), ELEKTRA came out on top for me due to their friendly approach, competitive quote and attention to detail. All the staff and installation engineers were great and any changes needed along the way (either on their side or my side) were discussed as to the best option for my situation. The overall install was very tidy and the system works exactly as i'd hoped for, keeping everything together in one eco system. The aftercare and friendly approach from all the staff at ELEKTRA was also second to none and their knowledge in this growing field combined with their ability to work with the clients needs is superb (they are not just trying to sell you a system you may not need, like other nationwide companies might). We had six quotes from various national companies, Elektra came out to look at the job and gave very good advice for the best place to install the batteries and inverter . We decided to go for the Solar edge system and to date we have been very pleased with it. Uri, Mike and team were amazing. Would give 6 stars if I could. We used Electra smart energy for solar, battery and car charger installation. Having worked in the renewable sector myself, I was immediately impressed during the first consultation with Uri. He really knew what he was talking about and didn't try to upset us on something we didn't need. He even advised going against the top spec and most expensive system as it would not have been good value for money in our case. To my biggest surprise the team from Elektra also had the most competitive offer, having received four different quotes from both local and national companies. Once we decided to go ahead with them, the team were clear in their communication throughout the entire process. We only had a minor hiccup where the roofer insisted on scaffolding when the initial quote was based on no scaffolding being required. The team immediately apologised for the oversight and also didn't charge us the extra cost of scaffolding but stuck to their initial quote. We were so happy with the service that we recommended the team to our friends who then also decided to go with Elektra for a similar installation.

After deciding on the brand of Solar I wished to use (GivEnergy - 5kw Inverter, 9.5Kw Battery & EV Charger) I investigated all the suppliers in the area & EleKtra came out top both in terms of design and cost. I cant speak highly enough of Solar panels, especially when combined with batteries. We have 20 x 380w Solar panels and 2 x 5.2KW/h batteries making 10.2KW/h in total. During the spring and summer months the panels typically provide all our electrical needs and fully charge the batteries, which provide our energy needs overnight until ‘sun up’ the following day. Even in the autumn and winter, we get free energy from the panels, although fully charging the batteries is much harder due to the weather and shorter days. Overall, and especially since the increased charges for energy, it was one of our best ever purchasing decisions. If you do have a limited budget, don’t overlook the batteries as selling energy back to the grid is very low (we get 5p per KW/H which is next to nothing in the big picture). Using and harvesting what you generate is the best value for money, providing the fastest payback. Toby Brown
