Clear communication, quick responses and reliability are also reported across multiple reviews. One reviewer says Liam was polite and helpful with garden lighting, while another reports that Liam was patronising, did not listen to their garden design wishes, and later declined to investigate lights that were not installed as waterproof and kept blowing the fuse. The same reviewer says the work was not completed well and that they would not use him again.
I can't recommend LMBU Electrical enough. The team did an amazing job fitting our new air-conditioning. They were incredibly helpful from start to finish, worked efficiently, and left the place spotless. A fantastic local team!
LMBU Electrical sorted our kitchen rewiring with real care and tidy workmanship. Properly pleased with the result.
Cannot recommend LMBU Electrical enough! The team is very professional and friendly. Reasonable costs, easy to talk to and they provide a guarantee for all works. The team is very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience. I will be going to them for all my electrical work. Shane has been brilliant with communication and the works carried out.
Liam from LMBU Electrical was recommended to us by our landscape gardener when they were doing our garden. Unfortunately I found Liam to be incredibly patronising and didn't listen to what we wanted for our garden design. Not sure if it was just a communication problem. I kept trying to explain what I wanted for our garden but he said he knew better and wouldn't listen to what we wanted. He wasn't the most competitively priced either but because he had worked with the gardener before, we decided to go with him. In the end the landscape gardener dealt with Liam to get the design we wanted and the garden was completed. Unfortunately the work was not completed well and the lights were not installed to be waterproof. After a year the garden lights kept blowing the fuse in the whole house. I contacted Liam to ask him to look at it to see what the problem was. Liam washed his hands of the whole thing and made it clear that he couldn't be bothered to find the time to even look at it. I showed his communication to the landscape gardener who originally recommended him and he was shocked by his attitude. I DEFINITELY do not recommend him and will personally never use him again.
We've used LMBU Electrical services several times, first for our garden lights and then recently to install an EV charger and an outdoor socket. We are extremely happy with the electricians' commitment, knowledge, and professionalism. We look forward to working with them again. We highly recommend LMBU Electrical to others. Thank you, LMBU Electrical!
Update: In 2025, LMBU Electrical fitted an EV charger and an outdoor socket in our house. Again, the service was fantastic, done up to a very high standard and communication was excellent. Thank you, guys! LMBU Electrical did a great job when installing garden lights, as socket and new security cameras. We would definitely recommend them!
Highly recommend, really clean and tidy work. Thank you to all team
We have used LMBU for many commercial projects now and their work is second to none, professional & knowledgable. Highly recommended.
Really helpful - very timely response - reassuring and well-communicated diagnosis. I highly recommend using LMBU.
The brilliant team at LMBU electrical took over from our previous electrician who unfortunately left us with a half finished job. The experience with LMBU was exceptional from the start. They are professional, punctual and produce a very high standard of work. They rectified and finished all the works, no problem being to big or small, and I am happy to say I now have a fully functioning kitchen and heating system! I highly recommend them. Thank you LMBU electrical!
He gave me a text15 minutes before he arrived as I requested him to. Knows exactly where to find the fault which was a burn fuse causing the shower to shut itself down.was very generous because he didn’t charge extra for the 40am shower fuse Which he has to order and come back the next day.he was also very polite and professional and i am very happy with the service.
Always use LMBU for all electrical work at our village hall. Really good in responding to requests and getting issues resolved quickly. Great to have a reliable local company. Highly recommend.
LMBU were brilliant Liam and the boys did a great job, explained everything and reassured me throughout the job (which turned out to be a full rewire of my kitchen). Liam has done a few jobs for me now and no job is too small. I can't recommend enough, they get 10 stars from me.
I've used LMBU Electrical several times, for installing strip lighting in my new kitchen, to changing sockets and installing new spot lights and light fittings. I'll definitely use them again. They're always responsive, professional and friendly. I'd always recommend LMBU.
Liam and his team were superb in the electrical installation at the leisure centre steam room/sauna. Cannot thank him enough for his teams effort. Would highly recommend his team. Will definitely procure his services again.
LMBU installed cabling to my cabin for electricity and broadband and internal wiring and fixtures within the unit for lights and power sockets. I am very happy with the work, all very reasonably priced, neat and tidy workers who are polite and professional. I did not hesitate to call Liam back to arrange for another socket and an external socket to be fitted to the cabin which again was a good job well done. Liam more recently made a short notice call out to fix an issue with my home consumer unit. This was the morning of my daughter's joint birthday party with our house due to be full of children within a few hours time. Liam gave advice over the phone to ensure we weren't at risk and then came over to fix the issue to ensure the party went ahead! Liam followed up on my request for an electrical inspection of our home given the building dates back to 1930s and the previous owners poor electric DIY. Liam completed a thorough inspection to put our minds at ease and to recommend what work would be worth pursuing. Top marks and would recommend.
Called the company and had a response within 48h! After giving me the price straight away they was with me the next day and had ALL my issues and requests sorted. Have already recommended LMBU to family who require work in the future. Thanks guys!!
Fantastic company, would highly recommend always reliable and get the job done to a brilliant standard would never use any other electrical company
Liam at ‘LMBU electrical’ was extremely polite and helpful and his team completed the works on my garden lightening and couldn’t be more happy with it. I did let him take full control and design what he thought was best and he didn’t disappoint. Will definitely use LMBU electrical again for more work!
