Coulter Electrical Contractors

This time CEC fitted a heat mat for us including override, chasing it back to the supply and fitting a smart meter - very pleased with their work as always

CEC supported our kitchen 10+ years ago and have just helped again with a replacement range cooker install. Super polite, friendly and reliable. I would recommend them.

Engineer did an excellent job replacing my consumer unit, getting the work done speedily, efficiently, very politely, neatly, cleanly & with minimal disruption & clear explanations every step of the way. Highly recommended.

The guys at Coulters were exceptional ... really friendly, responsive and professional at all times. You're in safe hands with them! Create Community (Letchworth)

Lee and the team were punctual, polite, communicated effectively and were very efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Installed a new consumer unit and a new circuit for a complete kitchen re-wire. Excellent, very professional, superb value Highly recommend

From the moment the team arrived to remove the old kitchen through to wiring in the new circuits and then the 2nd fix we knew we were in good hands. They were very flexible and had to work around other trades and their timekeeping but took all challenges with a smile and re-organised their day to accommodate others. Nothing was too much trouble and the team were very clean and swept up and removed debris as best they could after each visit. Highly recommended and whilst their initial cost appeared to be on the high side they delivered and were well worth the investment and a credit to the industry.

I had a car charger installed by Coulter Electrical Contractors and cannot rate them highly enough. They were happy to provide advice on type of charger and positioning when they did their site visit, checking what our requirements were and taking time to explain the different types and options. Once we'd agreed to the work, they turned up when they were booked, were polite and friendly, and cleared up after themselves!

Would happily use CEC again. From Lee visiting to provide advice and the quote, through to Sam and his fellow electricians who completed the work they were polite, professional, tidy and thorough in the work they carried out. Good to have a local company that you can call on again with confidence

Excellent fast professional service with competitive pricing well trained staff and properly coordinated work

Prompt, professional and pain-free. No-notice domestic call out with problem identified and resolved within a couple of hours by a friendly, knowledgeable, professional and for an entirely reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We were very impressed with CEC. They arrived on time, clearly explained the work needed, and completed the electrical work efficiently, leaving the work area clean and tidy. They were also patient in answering our questions and ensure we understood the process fully. We would definitely recommend them to others.

We used this firm to have electrics installed into our garage. Very happy with their work, came round quickly at a time to suit us and work completed quickly too. Overall very professional would use again.

Fantastic service, reliable, clean always helpful. Would highly recommend this company who did all the electrical work for a new kitchen and update our existing equipment. Excellent job

CEC did a great job for me installing an EV charger and new fuse box.

Excellent work carried out considerately and with patience at a difficult time for us.

Had an electrical fault in my kitchen. Called CEC just before they closed and amazingly they were able to send 2 electricians the same afternoon/evening. They spend two hours fault finding and fixed the problem. The team were really friendly and efficient, and tidied up as they went. The bill was very reasonable and service was great. I know with CEC the repairs will meet all the necessary regulations. I'd recommend them - they're great!

Fantastic Professional Service highly recommend

Excellent service and work completed to a high standard.

CEC fitted my EV charger. They were excellent throughout the process - provided good advice and James was excellent and efficient - always wiping his feet on the doormat on the way in. If only I could get my kids to follow his lead...

Excellent service. Contractor was on time, tidy and very knowledgeable. They also talked you through the options before carrying out the work.

CEC has helped us with our house renovation, which involved a full house rewire. The team has been amazing throughout, starting from design till finish and certification. Will be using CEC again in the future!

I've had CEC in to rewire my new kitchen and install a new consumer unit. I found the whole team at CEC to be really professional, helpful and the quality of their workmanship was excellent, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, reliable electrical contractor.

CEC are, in short, amazing! We cannot recommend them highly enough. We originally engaged them to complete an EICR on the property we were buying. They have just completed the work which was raised in the report. The whole process has been smooth and efficient and the communication and clarity of this process has been outstanding. If you need a company to carry out any electrical work, then look no further! Outstanding customer focussed service.

CEC delivered a full rewire of our new house, replacing and upgrading our consumer unit and installed all new components, light fittings and sockets. The team working on this project were timely, attentive, always providing solutions and making us aware of their progress. They ensured that they cleaned every evening after they finished and were extremely professional in their approach. I have no hesitation in recommending them and their work.

First task involved was to replace an old consumer unit and instal a modern surge/fire protected board with separate RCBO's for each circuit. The work was carried out smoothly and the circuits were tested and full explanations given. Second task was to remove two old ovens and replace with two new ovens which had been previously purchased from a retailer. The removal and installation were carried out without difficulty. What struck is most was that every time we thought there might be a difficulty we were reassured that any problem could be resolved. After completion of the work we received a useful report on the wiring system which gave us a greater understanding of the various circuits. So, we were highly impressed and would certainly give Coulter Electrical a strong recommendation.

Pete 24th February 2023 "Fantastic communication throughout the entire quote to completion process. The electrician's were both polite and professional. Scott was very helpful and managed the installation of our new Consumer Unit seamlessly. The electrician Christian is a credit to this company. He explained everything really well and made sure I could keep on working from home during the works with the least inconvenience.

Very pleased with their service from start to finish. They turned up on time, reliable, friendly, a very high standard of work. Cannot fault them. We would definitely use Coulter Electrical again.

Great all round service. Great communication, professionalism and service throughout from both Scott and Ben at Coulter. Great work, efficient, quick service and good value quotation. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Outstanding company. Professional, friendly & quick. The engineer who came round was as total first class chap. Very polite, friendly and explained everything he was doing clearly & once finished the place was left spotless. I can't recommend this company enough. New light switches, new wall sockets & new consumer unit all installed & looking great. From my first contact with them to finalising the job, the whole experience was A+. Will be using them again when needed. 10/10

Used before & trust their work.

"We woke up and had no power upstairs in the house. Within 20 minutes I had an electrician on my doorstep, absolutely brilliant customer service. The problem was not straightforward it took persistence and patience to locate the issue. The fix was implemented and Sam cleaned up after himself. My invoice has arrived and I think for the service I received it is great value for money. If you need an electrician I can totally recommend the guys at Coulter Electrical."

I asked CEC to do an electrical condition report for a house I was considering buying. Communication was professional and very straightfoward (they were happy to liase with the estate agent directly) and they kept to the very reasonable quote they had given me. The report and recommendation for addressing any problems was provided swiftly and seemed sensible. I would have no qualms about hiring them again in future; very happy with the service they provided.

Excellent service for hardwire remedial works to our business premises. Polite, experienced, considerate and transparent team. It was made clear what was needed how the job would be performed and the team were prepared to work to weekend not to interrupt the running of our business. Every stage was smoothly run. Thank you Scott for assisting with the organisation and to Ben and his team for carrying out the work.

We were pleased with the work carried out by Coulter Electrical Contractors to install two outdoor Ring security lights/cameras and trace and correct a fault on our house telephone system. A good professional company.

A great team at CEC. They complete work to a high standard and offer great advice, always going above and beyond. Definitely recommended.

Christian, James and Alfie were responsible for carrying out new electrical wiring for our kitchen and main fuse board and did a great job from start to finish. Polite, professional and always kept us informed of what they were doing. Couldn't recommend the company highly enough, we would definitely be using them again should the need arise

I needed to get my electrics tested as part of a house sale. Scott was able to visit the property very quickly and carry out the work needed in a very proffessional manner, and explained everything that he did/needed doing in a clear way. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend, prompt responses throughout and clear communication. I am very happy with the work, and will definitely use again

Excellent work conducted at our house recently by Coulter electrical. They professionally completed the complex work scheduled and were able to assist with other minor electrical queries. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this company for any electrical work. The service they give is outstanding. I will certainly use them again. Thank you.

A top class service provided by the team - they were punctual...clean...and most of all provided a great electrical service when we had our new kitchen fitted - would definitely recommend

I would 100% recommend CEC every time. The guys are polite, courteous, professional, hard working and very tidy. From the quotation stage to completion everything was perfect. Thanks again CEC

Professional, responsive, friendly, clean and tidy! It is so reassuring to know a local electrician company that can help you out 24/7. Accepting credit cards is a real help too! Really happy with work done so far this year by a couple of different members of the team. We've had a new fuse board, additional ring mains, removal of old light fittings, installation of new, installation of illuminated bathroom mirror, new power sockets and an emergency call out to discover and remedy historically unsafe cooker installation. We've probably spent more than we had planned to originally but we live in a 1970's built house with some interesting DIY work done in the 80's and basically things need to be put right so that our family stays safe and sound. Thanks so much CEC!

Really happy with the speed, the price and how helpful there are. I would strongly Recommend them. I’m so happy with the level of skill.

Coulter Electrical carried out an inspection and test of my house and then carried out the remedial works that were needed. Really happy with their workmanship and courteous approach.

We had our extension and partial house re-wire done and we were really impressed with the organisation and workmanship by CEC. They were on hand to give excellent advice and found their staff friendly and knowledgable. Would recommend them 100%.

Various Electrical Works Coulter Electrical have done several jobs around my house. Replacing out side lights, repairing a boiler issue and various other works . They are always very professional and efficient. I have always been very happy with the finish. I would be happy to recommend them to friends and family

Brilliant service from start to finish i would highly recomend this company to anyone looking for a high standard of work at a competitive price.

Very pleased with the work undertaken at my house today. And thats coming from someone who has been known to complain!

This is our 4th manufacturing facility in Letchworth and we have always used Ray and his excellent team. Whenever we've moved, the guys have given excellent advice before, during and after fit out. Installation is always customer orientated - they try really hard not to impact on production and the day to day running of the business - this is much appreciated! Always up to date with legislation and also the latest innovation, our current installation involved a new power installation from UKPower networks, to get sufficient KVA, CEC were all over this challenge which involved trenches on our property, holes into the building and Dual meters in one building. We now have LED lighting throughout the premises and motion sensors in the warehouse - saving a ton of money in fitting replacements and energy use. The advice we received from Lee was great! we aren't experts in this field, so we rely absolutely on the professionals and CEC deliver! While I'm mentioning names - big thanks to Jack and all the apprentices - Christian, John, George, Chandler, Sam and the rest - oh yeah and Scott Coulter! Not to mention the office guys doing the paperwork and keeping the guys in order! Anyone for a kick about?

Great service from a great local company. Would highly recommend to anyone.

CEC offer a fantastic service, with great speed of response and they have a reliable and friendly team who deliver to an extremely high quality. Would recommend without hesitation

Great Electricians. Skilled, professional and on time. Would recommend and will use CEC again.
