I contacted Nulectrics as we needed a buildings Electrical survey/cert carried out with not much time to do it in. I contacted AJ who was really helpful and got me booked in ASAP. The engineer Kevin who came out was very professional, polite and thorough. We failed the requirements needed. A clear quote was provided explaining what we needed to have done to meet the standards for a pass. Again with time not on our side AJ got us fitted in to have the faults corrected. Kevin is a really nice guy and was careful with the paint work when fitting new lights and sockets, he cleaned up each day after he finished his work. Top electrician. Very grateful for the service I received from Nuelectrics. I contacted them after I lost power at a weekend, and they were good enough to call me back and give me instructions on how to reset the system. A really good example of customer care.

We had a sudden loss of power to our boiler and kitchen appliances, but couldn’t solve the problem ourselves so I called AJ. These guys are fantastic, can't recommend them enough. As others have said, the attention to detail, quality of their work and how they interact with their customers is first class. We found them by chance on a dark wet night when everything that could go wrong was. We'd just come back from a tough hospital visit only to find driving rain had got into our roof and by a freak of bad luck, followed a direct route straight into our main fuse box and taken out all our power. Nulectrics came out that night and made it safe and then spent the next day or two putting it all back together. They also found and fixed numerous other issues with our electrics and completed a full certification and test. We now have every confidence that all is now good, and we will certainly be using them again for all future electrical work.

AJ and the team undertook the 1st and 2nd fit of my new utility room installing a new consumer unit, sockets and lights and did a great job. Although the job ended up being spread out over a longer than anticipated timeframe they were extremely accommodating and accurate to the original quote supplied. I have used Nulectrics twice in the last 2 years, for an EICR and remedial work that came out of it, and more recently repairing a broken junction box. AJ was quick to respond and arranged for his team visit. The electricians carried out all work to a high standard, were very professional and courteous. They checked with us before carrying out any loud work so that the baby wouldn't be startled, which was a really nice touch. I would highly recommend and will be using their services again for any future work.

Very professional service provided, diagnosing the issue and then replacing 8 integrated kitchen down lights to units that accept Phillips Hue bulbs. Everything carried out in a timely manner, good communication throughout and very pleased with the outcome. Would 100% use again for future works.

I needed to replace some recessed spotlights in my bathroom and contacted Nulectrics for a quote. They were very quick to quote and also to respond to some follow up questions I had and minor amendments to the scope of the work to add a dimmer switch. Whilst there was a delay of a few weeks before the job could take place I was happy to wait since there was no urgency over the summer period. When the job was undertaken the two electricians who completed the work were both friendly and very tidy and careful. The replacement sealed LED units look great and the dimmer control works well. I work from home and whilst they were here I had to take a number of calls - the electricians were always very quiet when passing my study so as not to disturb my work which was appreciated. Overall I'm really pleased with the job and would recommend Nulectrics - I would use them again.

From his initial review of the jobs I had identified and further recommendations based on observations, through to the electricians and apprentice doing 2+ very long days of work their attention to detail, cleanliness of my home/garden and ability to keep me informed of progress was exceptional. Only miss was them turning up unannounced one afternoon to finish off some little tasks, thankfully I was home. The full report of all the electrics in my home (a recent purchase for me) has identified some historic poor workmanship and risks of failure or even fire. Very grateful I asked them to look at the potentially dodgy external wiring I could see as it has thrown up issues with work I can't see. In a word, Brilliant! My elderly father needed a fused spur fitted for his central heating and the guys did an excellent job. They arrived exactly when they said they would, they were very polite and professional, they took great care to check everything and then when they finished their work they even hoovered up! Needless to say, I highly recommend Nulectrics for any electrical work needed in the home.

We had a fault last winter where we had a fault with one of the sockets and AJ was able to quickly attend to us and isolated the issue, replaced the wiring and socket in a very professional and timely manner. What impresses me most is AJ's responsiveness, and his eagerness to provide valuable advice. We highly recommend them and will surely be using their services again.

Had great difficulty finding an electrician to fix an issue with the earth on our house. Contacted Nulectrics who suggested a much better solution than anyone else had proposed and liaised with the DNO on my behalf to ensure it could be done. Great service tracking down the cause of occasional power outages in our house and then recommending and implementing a solution. AJ and Chris were polite and professional on both visits. Highly recommended.

Professional and affordable

Professional service throughout and excellent communication both pre and post service. Initial diagnostics attempted via a phone call to alleviate possible call out and complete transparency of protocol/pricing. Chris was with us within 1.5 hours on a Sunday, which was impressive since he was in the midst of a 22mile bike ride (additional resources called in). Informative throughout and took the time to explain so I had a personal level of understanding. Would highly recommend and will not hesitate to use again in the future.

Nurelectrics were employed by our plumber for finalising the electrical connections during a new boiler installation. As I have a smart thermostat Nurelectrics recommended to re-wire the connections from the thermostat receiver to the boiler, to make sure there were no flimsy connections left. The final work was exactly what I was looking for when I had asked our previous electrician (when we had our kitchen revampled), where the previous electrician ignored my request, saying it was not possible. On top of that, the original work for connecting the new boiler electrically was finalised perfectly. Thanks to AJ and Chris for thoughrourly complete all the tasks. I am looking forward to having them over for the extra work I asked them to do between now and the summer - hopefully lockdown will not be in the way :)

We used AJs services in our previous property, for installation of lights and floor heating in a new conservatory plus installing garden lights. When we got problems with power to parts of our present Victorian terrace house it was obvious for us that AJ could help. It was quite complicated and took some time to fix everything. Despite being in a very busy period AJ and Chris sorted everything out. Very professional and can definitely be recommended!

My wall cooker switch had blown leaving me without cooking facilities. I telephoned Nulelectrics and had a visit from Alex within half an hour who replaced the unit. From this experience, albeit a small job, I cannot recommend the service I received highly enough.

Nulectrics replaced an outside security light for me. They found a good replacement fitting that met my needs, and performed a good job in swapping it with my old light unit. They are courteous and helpful.

I could not be happier with the work that Chris did for us today. AJ installed a 32A commando socket outside for use as an EV charger. Challenges were to insert earth rod to comply with regulations and also ensure ground beneath was clear of pipes/cables as there was no builder's plan showing where services were connected to the property. AJ was the only one of the several local electricians to follow through with the proposal and offer a reasonable quote for the job. Prompt in fixing appointment date and stuck to it. He agreed to source parts from wholesalers. Although there was issue with the part, he made sure he got a correct replacement on the same day, resolved other cable connection issues and finished the job with his cheerful nature. I'd highly recommend him for any electrical job the house.

What cant we say about Mr A.J.Greenman (AJ), well we cant say anything bad! Since an initial recommendation from a work colleague when we wanted to replace lights in our kitchen, which he did excellently, within time, budget and was exactly what we wanted, to immediately coming out on Boxing Day when our house could have have had serious repercussions due to an unknown plug put behind a cupboard by a previous owner was smoking through all the kitchen units and we didn't know what to do, after, we had a great Boxing Day meal and AJ saved the day! I really cant fault AJ, he has always been a call away, is always courteous, honest, professional, always giving costs so we can budget. He is an absolute gem in this world of some not so ethical tradespeople. He is so trust worthy we are quite happy to leave the key to the house for him, and he always cleans up - a rarity! We were having several issues with our house wiring recently and decided to ask Mr A.J.Greenman if he would fix it for us. We live in a property built in the 1940's with no proper ring circuits or trip switch. The situation was not a straight-forward one, but very much one of fault-finding, at which he seemed particularly adept. He was meticulous in testing all the wiring and trip fuses, and found the problem was with the lighting. This wiring was all in metal conduits, some of which had corroded, leaving us with no earths, and 'leakage' problems. We were not in a position to have the house rewired and Mr Greenman did a really good job, installing new, double-insulated lights and new switch-box covers. He was pleasant, quick, business-like, very thorough, and cleared up after finishing his work. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending him.
