Had a great engineer named James work on the installation of both oven and microwave oven. Exceptional work, he just straight into it and very happy with the end result. He was also happy to take the old oven and microwave which is a bonus! Great work, thank you 🤙

I contacted C G Electrical to investigate the provision of power from my house to a new build remote workshop, including all lighted and power requirements . They provided the most comprehensive service I could imagine. During the initial consultation Carter provided an enlightening view of what could be possible and provided informed, practical and friendly advice. This gave us the oppourtunity to select the options that matched our priorities while remaining within our budget for the project. The installation team were punctual and friendly and the job was completed on time with no fuss. C.G Electrical responded promptly to my call for help and quickly identified the electrical fault that was causing our kettle to trip the downstairs plug sockets. It had been driving me crazy trying to fault find the issues myself. Carter was superb and the issue was diagnosed quickly and efficiently. We asked CG electrical services for help in Bringing our rental property up to scratch for the EICR certification. They responded really quickly and sent a great team, James and his young apprentice (also James) who both took great care to complete the whole project including, amongst other things, installation of a new consumer unit and several hardwired smoke alarms and a heat sensor with as little impact as possible to the aesthetics of the house. They went above and beyond to achieve this, for which we and our tenant are very grateful. This was no easy task and both showed patience and creativity in finding the ideal solution. Sophie, our lovely first point of contact is also a credit to the company having arranged a competitive quote and convinced us that CG would be the best partner for the job despite good quotes elsewhere. The tenant told us the man who visited to assess before the quote was also very friendly and professional. We would recommend CG unreservedly and will be glad to use them in the future.

Absolutely brilliant service from C.G. Electrical Services. Carter and Ewan completed several jobs at my house and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They upgraded our under-cupboard spotlights to warm-coloured LED strip lighting, which looks so much better. They also moved our dining room light fixture to be centred over the table, swapped the single pendant for a bar pendant light, and fitted a dimmer switch — all of which has completely transformed the room. They also replaced our porch bulkhead light with a warmer option as the previous one was far too bright. Both Carter and Ewan were friendly, professional, and worked neatly and tidily throughout. We will definitely get them back for future work and would highly recommend them to everyone.

I have used C.G electrical services for years as they are simply brilliant. Their service has always been exceptional! Jobs are done to the highest standard and staff are always professional, warm, polite and considerate. I had multiple jobs of replacing two wired smoke alarms, a pendant light, putting in 2 external PIR lights including Ring floodlight camera, creating a media station by putting in 3 new double plug sockets, brush plate for cables and wall mounting my TV. Euan, James and Carter did a great job with not the easiest walls and fuse box set up in my house. They were neat, friendly and were very conscious about doing a good job to the spec I wanted all with a fair price. I will definitely use again for the future.

A really professional and polite service. We needed an extraction fan replaced and asked about another fan which had watermarked the ceiling upstairs. They advised it was most likely a damaged insulated extraction pipe in the loft and were right. All replaced. Job done.

Brilliant company! Met the owner Carter today as he came to do a job at my house... very friendly and professional and did a great job. Went above and beyond to deliver a good service as he started off at my sisters place round the corner to take down some lights that were mine and even brought them with him to mine saving me a trip to pick them up later ! :D My dog also went to great lengths to let him know she liked him too.. lots of jumps and tail wags were had - Rottwieller approved business! After moving in to a new build a found I was short of sockets in the kitchen. Carter was quick to respond and fitted an extra double socket for me. He was very professional and cleaned up all the dust caused from the work. Would use again.

I hadn’t left a review after the work originally, as although they left quite a bit of mess upon completion and a larger than required hole in our ceiling, I didn’t want to leave a negative mark over something quite small for a new business. But we have just had a different and highly qualified electrician come and change our fuse board and carry out checks in our house, and he has just found that the shower we paid to have disconnected, just had the cable cut and the earth was left connected to the fuse board, which is apparently super lazy work and they needed to have fully disconnected for it to have been completely safe - maybe this was why we never got a certificate upon completion. I hate to leave bad reviews but I feel like the service was awful after they left, and I was obviously right.

We had Carter and Team fit a hardwired ethernet port into my office. They were thoroughly professional, friendly and completed the job within a week of giving the inital quote. Will be using again in the future

Excellent Value for Money and Great Service - I found C.G. Electrical on Google and requested a quote for a full rewire on my 3 bed, 160yr old property. Carter was prompt and had a great work ethic. He understood what we needed and had plenty of suggestions on how to execute the project (also plenty of patience when extra light fittings / switches and things were added during the job). Care was taken to produce only the necessary amount of mess to alleviate the making good process on the property. Carter and Dexter completed the rewire in 10 working days with an extra day to test. They saved us money with clever and efficient placement of fixtures and fittings throughout. I would absolutely recommend Carter and Dexter / C.G. Electrical for any domestic electrical work, no matter the size of the job.

Carter is very professional and responsive. He came out initially to replace a bathroom light and did it on a weekend for a reasonable price. We have had some further work done and his quotes are reasonable and the service is exceptional.
