Just had re wiring done with Dec-Elec i was really worried as heard mixed reviews of people experiences. I was stressed thinking it was going to be messy. The boys were really good that worked at my property. They cleaned up after themselves was a little bit dusty but to be expected. I didn't have to move anything as they did it all. Highly recommend, very happy with the work that's been done.

Our electrical certificate at JD Burford Limited was due for renewal this year. We contacted Dec-Lec as their company was local and accredited to the necessary certification required. Throughout the initial inspection and all remedial works they were professional and thorough in their works undertaken. Highly recommended. Friendly and professional from the word go.There was a delay on the charger being delivered to no fault of Dec-Elec. They carried on with the instal.The next morning they were still waiting for delivery of the charger this turned up to them at about 4pm they immediately turned up at my property and completed the instal.At all times they kept me informed of what was going on .Excellent service highly recommend.

Amazing and professional service. We had the whole house rewired with all new light fittings and smoke alarms at a very reasonable price! Very quick in coming out to quote the work and booking us in. All work was completed within the time frame given, the boys couldn’t help out enough, constantly asking if everything was up to our standard and if there was anything we wanted changed . Choose Dec Elec to do a rewire of our 3 bedroom house apart from kitchen, after reading reviews. I was not disappointed. The team were amazing. All the boys were friendly and polite at all times. Cameron would keep me updated every morning as to what had already been done and what was happening that day. All the work was achieved whilst we were still living in the house with as little disruption as possible, over a three day period. The boys cleaned up after themselves every day, so i wasnt returning home to a mess. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using their services again.

Dec , Katie, Billie and all the boys who work for dec elec were absolutely amazing. The work they carried out at our property was fantastic.. We needed a full rewire as our property had to be fully renovated, they carried all the work out over a period of nearly 10 months because we had other issues with our property,not once did anyone at dec elec question or rush our build. We called them out on several occasions to do particular jobs for us, nothing was too much trouble for decs company. The boys were so polite and professional and were happy to talk through things and listen to any concerns / thoughts I had, which is huge for customer service, and they were excellent at this. They worked enthusiastically, and made sure they covered things and cleaned up after themselves. These small things go a long way and all add up to a great service that customers will always notice.

Had Dec-Elec come out today, they travelled nearly an hour to carry out some repairs and all was excellent. Had 2 new outside lights fitted, one at the front and one at the back. An extractor fan and 2 sockets fixed. Nothing but great service and efficient responses as-well. They responded within an hour on Checkatrade and only had to wait a few days to have them carry out the job. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I would like thank Cameron and the team from Dec-elec who have just completed a complete house rewire my house. All the team were professional and courteous they took care to damage as little as possible during the process, they made sure when they left we had had hot water and lighting, at the end of each day the team did their best to clean up and leave the house as livable as possible. I was impressed with the way Cameron assisted his apprentice Jensen and all the team. Finally thank you to all team for their hard work and assistance in looking after our cat who was a little traumatized by the experience.

Back Light fitted with switch. Found Dec-Elec on Checkatrade, they responded to my job advert quickly and Dec came out to give me a quote. Jad a few quotes and he was very competitive and by far the most professional even in terms of following up, how the quote was provided and I invoicing. Jenson and Tai (Ty) came out to do the work for the backlight with the switch. They'd clearly been told about the job thoroughly as Jenson knew expected what Dec had quoted and what was agreed. The lads worked quickly but very professional to get the work done and to a very high standard. They even cleaned up as they went along in the garden, after drilling etc. Would 100% recommend Dec Elec and also the lads who came out and did the work for us today. Sam and Ty came and sorted the lighting and wiring in my student house, were really helpful and quick to answer any questions and help with additional problems.

Outstanding service from Dec-Elec to have some overdue electrical work done. It took less than a week from my initial enquiry to getting the quote and the work done. Sam, Joe and Jenson completed a huge job of fixing dangerous sockets and wiring in two large rooms, fitting a new RCD box to add extra wiring/sockets, and LED lighting for a kitchen, along with a full electrical inspection of the property. They did a brilliant job, working efficiently and neatly to get everything done to a very high standard. Highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again.

Quick response to an electrical fault call out. Isolated fault so that power circuit could continue to be safely used. Took photos of the original socket and attempted to source an identical replacement. As the original style was obsolete a suggested alternative was suggested for our approval. Supplied and fitted two replacements with no hassle and cleaned after fitting. Electrician and trainee were respectful and respectful. Very satisfied with work carried out.

Not only was the work done - as promised on time it was as quoted. Also, weeks later got back in touch with the very kind and helpful Katie, following an additional issue found after completing the works the guys have come back and fixed as promised. They are a professional and considerate team of qualified installers all willing and helpful. Cameron today was amazing - tried to provide the least amount of disruption (I work from home). Katie, Declan and the team did a great job rewiring my property even though we had some obstacles outside of both of our control to deal with!!! Communication from start to finish was great especially when dealing with outside issues but also when explaining to a lay person the elements of the reports and quotes that were sent. I’ll definitely be using them again for my electrical work in future and now we know the obstacles we’ll be forewarned and forearmed next time.

Amazing company, very high quality install of garden and soffit lights, ad bathroom lights despite us changing our minds during and after the install Dec-Elec accommodated our changes and whims without complaint and without hiking up the final bill

We chose Dec-Elec from the web, once we made contact we were very surprised at the price quoted and agreed immediately. They turned up a little earlier than expected, no problem and proceed to fit our now lights. My wife said the 2 young lads were very polite and fitted the lights and cleaned up as they went along. They even commented on the style we had chosen saying they liked them very much. We cannot emphasis enough how good they were and we will definitely use them again and recommend using them to our friends.

This company is so easy to deal with, from the point of agreeing the price through to the work being carried out on time and with no fuss. They arrived when they promised to and got straight to work. The team are all friendly professionals, and during our recent rewire they were courteous at all times, sensitive to our needs, and we knew we were in safe hands. They brought protective coverings to minimise dust as far as possible and cleared any mess. They naturally had to make holes for chasing and to bring wires through but they were very neat and easy to fill. Their advice and work overall has always been superlative, and prices extremely competitive, we would use them again and heartily recommend their services.

Right from the start, from booking a site visit for a quote to booking an installation, this has been an excellent service. Katie kept me informed and answered all my questions promptly. Electricians, Cameron and Jordon, were polite and professional. They tidied up as they went along. Their work looks really neat and tidy. If a house was built 20 years ago and the electrics put in to the standard of that time and the consumer unit is in good condition. Then no way does it needs to be changed. How’d o I know?? Checked with the NICEIC. Be careful when you use this company

I would throughly recommend Dec Elec to anybody looking to have electrical work completed. I had them to do a EICR on a property I had just bought and they found that the electrics were unsafe. I got quoted a very reasonable price for a re wire and it was completed within 2 weeks. The workers kept me updated throughout and made minimum mess, very happy customer 👍🏼

Contacted dec-elec from a recommendation- I bought a property that had failed an electrical inspection and needed a full re wire. From initial contact Katie was helpful and prompt with all replies - quote given was very competitive - dec and the boys completed full re wire and extras requested in three and half days - all rubbish was removed and the house left clean and tidy in completion .
