A year ago Tom and his team installed our heat pump which has been amazing at keeping us cozy and comfortable all at a reduced running cost to the previous gas boiler. This return visit was for an annual service. Tom had been keeping an eye on our set up remotely and was very interested in our experience over the last year. After a thorough check, an occasional tweak and some very valuable advice we are good to go for another year in the reassuring knowledge that we have a great backup if ever needed. Truly trusted and knowledgeable experts that are a pleasure to deal with!

Tom & his team have been looking after our (somewhat idiosyncratic) heating system for several years now & actually managed to get it all working properly, which previous people hadn't managed to do. Just a boiler service this time but Stuart was very thorough, as always. Tom Plumb may not be the cheapest around but I'm happy to pay for a quality service.

I have used Tom plumb for at least 10 years now. Very good at solving plumbing and central heating problems and very reliable. Thorough and highly recommended. Installed an updated central heating and hot water system a year ago with Viessman boiler which has performed faultlessly. Stuart, from Tom Plumb, and to whom I am very grateful for his very neat work, visited last week to carry out the first annual service of the new boiler and to sort out a minor problem with a small leak from a condensate waste tube. He arrived on time and completed the required work quickly, tidily and efficiently.

After a difficult couple of winters when our heating system did not perform efficiently or economically we asked Tom to review our system and the way we used it. He was recommended by a local satisfied customer. Both Tom and Stuart were professional, reliable and knowledgeable. We now have comfortable ambient temperatures in all rooms throughout the winter months with reduced KWh units used.

Tomplump installed an air source heat pump and an unvented hot water storage vessel for us in May and we could not be happier with the the outcome and the whole process. We put lots of research into finding the right person for the job; Tom is a heatgeek elite installer and really knows his stuff but we chose him also because he is MCS registered via his own company and as such he could apply for the government grant on our behalf. Tom always answered all of our questions (we had many) in a timely manner and in great detail pre and post install and met us several times before the works had started to insure everything was right. The installation process was straightforward, the guys were tidy, clean, friendly and very polite. All in all, we would highly recommend Tom with his vintage van (check out his website if you want to see photos of it) and his team! We will obviously him again for the yearly service but if you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy heat pump installer in the Richmond area Tom is your man!

We now have a permanent warm, comfortable home and constant hot water thanks to Tom’s Weather Compensation control installation. Tom is very knowledgeable and diligent, his work was carried out to a high standard with no short cuts taken. He does not condescend, is courteous and is happy to share his knowledge. Aftercare is also well provided, Tom & Stuart will not leave you unsupported. With the Weather Compensation control the boiler runs at a lower flow rate, on average at 40 degrees centigrade, so saving on gas usage. An unexpected benefit for us has been getting a room back in the house which we would have previously shut off to save on energy costs. I would highly recommend Tom Plumb, the difference the Weather Compensation control has made is huge!

From start to finish of our heat pump project Tom and co. were amazing. Him and his colleagues went above and beyond to ensure the system was exactly what we needed and were always happy to answer any questions / queries we had no matter how big or small. Dealing with many different trades throughout our renovations we had a mixture of good and bad experiences but Tom was one we never had a worry with as him and his team were always professional and polite throughout and got the work done whenever we needed it, despite sometimes being given very short notice from ourselves. Even down to the aftercare we received was something we did not expect but was very much appreciated. He was always upfront with costs and pricing and even saved us money wherever he felt appropriate / possible. We would recommend Tom to anyone who wants a job done properly, professionally and promptly and would like to thank him and his team for all their hard work and time they have given us.

I contacted Tom Plumb about installing a new boiler but he asked to come and see whether he could repair the current one. He came back with spare parts and there is now heating in my house for the first time in 3 weeks! Tom Plumb certainly made my day so, if you call him, he might be able to make yours too! CH London

There was a time when I thought that Tom was the best in town. I spent a fortune on his services when we first moved into our house. But success may have got the better of him. He no longer answers the phone (as he always did in the past), you now have to send an email, which his wife may or may not answer in a few days time. I recently had him come for boiler service and to check on a faulty shower. Though I asked for Tom on two occasions to give me a call to discuss the work, he never did. Eventually, have is assistant Luke came instead. I am sure Luke is a capable plumber, he did spend an hour here, regrettably neither fixing the shower nor doing the boiler service. I was charged £115 for nothing, however with the promise he will return with the right tools and spare parts. He never showed up again. A subsequent plumber I called deemed those parts unnecessary, so in a way I should be happy, as I would have been taken to the bank. Avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly pathetic service.
