There is a sign at the entrance about welcoming pets and children and request for the parents/owners to be in control of them at all times. Having been a customer for more than 5 years, I was always happy to see the developments they are making and had referred to many of my friends to visit this place. However today after being there with my puppy, I was told off very rudely. The staff taking their frustation on me while all the dog did was sniff a bg near the counter. The staff was accusing me saying that it was her food. I said I didnot know about it and asked if she wanted me to pay for it. She kept on about the dog crossing an invisible line and it was not allowed. No one there understood this point of invisible line. If the dog made a mess or pulled out her belongings, I would have taken all the responsibility. but all the dog did was sniff something and came back. The staff who came to ask about the situation tried to tell me that I am being unreasonable. Their staff is unblamable.

These guys have always been awesome. Exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. There is always a fantastic array of stock in their vast space and prices are always very competitive.
As somone in the trade i never like leaving a review against a supplier. However when all you get is a rude response via email or no reply at all i feel im not left with any other option. Used evergreen for quite a few years, i travel 35 miles to get there as delivery is a ridiculas £100! Im just off m25 ! I actully stopped coming last year as how they changed the till areas seems more like a garden centre rather than a wholesalers! It also doesnt help they allow anyone to join!! I mean aslong as you have a pulse they will allow it, which is super frustrating as there is not many staff on the floor all the old people and home gardners make a divert for ppl like myself ! The real reason for this review is because of how rude the staff now are i ordered 2 different orders in last 2 weeks! Both where wrong! No sorry nothing! The dark haired lady on tills wins medal in rudness! And further emails i have sent have all had very basic non informative replies! Now radio silence, called another order through to be told i cant order.... however i have placed 10s of thousands of plant orders through multiple wholesalers over the years as this is how it works!! If you want to become a garden centre just do it! Stick a cafe in and create a discount card for trades .....
I have bought from Evergreen Exteriors a few times now and they are absolutely fantastic in every department! The pricing comes back promptly and is fair. The delivery arrives when they say it will and the drivers cannot do enough to help. Most importantly, the plants and trees always arrive in great condition. Keep up the great work!
I’ve purchased plants over the years from Evergreen, including in Banstead and at New Covent Garden Market, and service has generally been fine. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. When I declined a £90 delivery charge for a very short distance, the response I received felt unnecessarily aggressive and negative. A subsequent email exchange also took a defensive tone rather than offering simple clarification. If you enjoy buying plants in a calm, positive, high-vibration environment, this may not be the right place. The plants themselves were acceptable, but the attitude of employees left a lot to be desired.
We love Evergreen and have used them for 30 years. Great staff, very helpful and all so attractive....

Have been going here for almost twenty years to buy for the The Rooms and the English Flowerhouse. The quality of stock is unbeatable. The staff helpful and courteous and customer service excellent.one of the best in the business

Lady at the till needs to change her attitude. No need to be rude to customers. Why ruin someone's day unnecessarily with a smirk and bad attitude. Otherwise a nice place with a large plant selection.

I spent over £1000 last year on plants/strubs and around 50% have died. Prices and variety are great but ultimately you need the plants to last, not just look pretty at time of planting. I realise it was a harsh summer but we were not in a water banned area and had an irrigation system. Really disappointed.

If you are browsing and don't want specific items then it's great.(which is what retail is..) If you want specific items (WHICH IN MOST CASES TRADERS WILL WANT) its fairly pointless. Nobody really knows where anything is and emails don't get sent. All the discount in the world won't matter if you can't get what you need so in nearly most case's I now just buy from retail.
I bought £3500 worth of plants, totalling 200 approx Tropical, Evergreen , Shrubs etc and planted them just before the frosts in Decembee and its 3 months later and i haven't lost one. its a great product for a very fair price
I purchased 10x 2-2.25m Taxus Baccata Yew Trees from Evergreen in Banstead. Two hedges died after receiving all the correct treatment, due to the damage and stress caused from root ball. The customer service I received after was next to non existent, after multiple calls over the next few weeks and not having my phone calls returned I finally got told they will not refund or replace any faulty products. Their attitude was appalling. These two dead hedges cost me £250 of a total £1400 order. Disgraceful service. Stay away and take your business to a company that cares about its customers.
Very rude staff on the phone. I was asking about stock of plants and was told unless I'm trade they 'shouldn't' have even given me prices'. I explained I am happy to order through my gardener but he works all hours so will tell them what I want and he can order - the girl on the phone was rude and abrasive and clearer had other things to do. I asked to speak to a manager, then 'Olly' (?) came on, and said 'what is it'. I asked if he was a manager and he said yes and he was Head of Sales. He confirmed stock and said to order them I need to physically come in as they are 'not currently doing over phone'. Waste of time. terrible customer service, rude - go elsewhere

Having used this company for many years as developers we will not do so again. Clearly struggling, rude and unhelpful - and if you get a man called Daniel in sales, put the phone down and start again, he's as helpful as a chocolare tea pot!
I couldn't manage my business without this company, Daniel has been fantastic throughout lockdown.Their plants are exceptional and their staff are very helpful even when I'm not sure what I want,thank you all for helping me through this difficult time and keeping me supplied with great stock

very unhelpful staff, on phone and in person. And overpriced to boot, paramount cheaper and with amazing staff. My gardener has spent over £2,000 from evergreen exterior for our garden which we are landscaping, have instructed him to switch.
Spent around £1000 on buxus hedging from them around a year ago. They are now devastated with box blight. The company don’t offer any guarantee and will what do ever. They are clearly aware of the problem and at the time didn’t offer any advice on theses plants and clearly put profit over principles.
Fantastic wholesale nursery but you need membership in order to purchase plants from here. At least £20 cheaper than Woodcote and lovely quality. Our garden is full of their plants. Good customer service and will order you almost anything you want.
If you or your gardeners have a trade card this is a great place to buy in bulk or one offs; mostly half the price of the main retailers.
