I cannot recommend THT Plumbing and Heating highly enough! They recently took on the challenge of renovating our rather unconventional bathroom—a small footprint with a sloped ceiling that extends all the way up to the apex of the roof. It is a particularly difficult space to work in, but the team handled it brilliantly and adhered to the specification I provided. With a build this complex, a few unexpected issues were inevitable, but every single challenge was met with professionalism, efficiency, and a calm "can-do" attitude. The entire THT team is a fantastic bunch of people. Not only are they highly skilled and punctual, but they are also genuinely friendly, cheerful, and a pleasure to have around. They were mindful of cleanliness and went out of their way to minimize disruptions for our neighbours, which we very much appreciate. A few very well-deserved special mentions: Ian: a true jack-of-all-trades who seems able to turn his hand to absolutely anything. His attention to detail is impressive. Ollie: a genius tiler! He did a flawless job navigating a very tricky, ultra-tall environment, which includes a concealed door into loft space. Andy: he expertly boxed in our boiler and created an inspired, well engineered 3.5-meter-tall partitioned storage cupboard that cleverly utilises our unique space to great advantage. Vicki: the force behind the scenes who, I am reliably informed, keeps a steady and indispensable hand on the tiller to keep everything running smoothly. Absolutely brilliant service from THT, From the moment I contacted THT everything went smoothly and efficiently, Vicki delt with my inquiry that I was making on behalf of my mother to have her shower controller replaced, she made contacted with my mother and made arrangements for a day and date that suited her for the work to be carried out. The engineer who came was very polite and friendly and carried out the work in a professional manner, everything was left clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend THT and wouldn't hesitate in using them again .
Absolutely delighted with our full bathroom renovation carried out in December by the THT team. From start to finish they could not have been more helpful. Everything was co ordinated perfectly and was seamless for us, as they have all the trades required and we were kept in the loop at all times. We met several of the team over the course of the work and have to say they were all highly skilled and conscientious. Despite a few hiccups owing to the individual quirks of our house, problems were all resolved with a positive “can do” attitude and to our complete satisfaction and nothing felt rushed. Discovered a leak from the cistern which I couldn't quite identify. The guy from THT arrived when he said he would, diagnosed the problem almost immediately and fixed it. It's also fixed symptoms that I'd not associated with the leak. Have given it a week to make sure it really is fixed. Very pleased with the service!

From beginning to End the team were fantastic. We always new who was going to be onsite and what job would be carried out that day. We had a full house renovation, ceilings removed, new bathroom, whole new gas central heating system, fireplace, tiling, plastering etc. All work was carried out to the highest standard. I'm very happy with their work. They called me if they can arrive earlier. Technician was on-time and I was able to track his arrival. Very professional and friendly. Fixed our stopcock and left everything tidy. Also invoice was quite good, cheaper than other competitors offered initially. 4star only as it tooks a bit longer than expected and the technician had to go twice to buy parts. However, it's not been an issue and the total bill was still cheaper than their competitors.

I literally cannot recommend Tom, Vicki and every other team member at THT enough. They have been incredible. We had rising damp in our kitchen due to a blown wall, gutter, drainage issue which is an expensive problem to have. But from day 1 of making contact to paying the bill they have been phenomenal. I cannot express how much their professionalism and understanding has made this so much nicer than it needed to be. We had external work, guttering, drainage, kitchen ripped out, plastering, electrics, plumbing, new boiler, flooring laid, new kitchen fitted and loads of other jobs that popped up along the way. I was kept in the loop on everything and the text tracking service is wonderful. They will have a customer for life from me and I totally trust that they do what's best each and every time they turn up to a job. Thank you all so much for everything. In the past 3 months I have had an awkward leak investigated and repaired, new boiler, 3 new radiators and a partial bathroom refurbishment. All work carried out to high standard, tradesmen polite and professional, communication was excellent, and regular visits from Tom from planning stage to completion. Couldn’t be happier to have found this company and will definitely use again.

Cannot recommend T H T Ltd more highly. Great communications throughout, with regular updates on who and what work would be done during the project. What I particularly appreciated was the text messages advising that they were en route prior to each days arrival. All of Tom's team were professional and polite, a pleasure to do business with. If anyone wants a project such as ours doing, you'd do well to find a better outfit than T H T. Suffice to say, we're very pleased with our new en-suite!

Refurbishment of 2 ensuites with new showers, flooring and shower boards fitted. Other work included replacement sink taps, outside tap and new stop cock to replace a leaking one Communication was very good and the en route plumber was notified by txt with real time tracker and arrival time. All waste removed and tidyness was very good including carpet protectors fitted from front door to work site including stairs. Quality of the work was excellent with great attention to detail. Regular vists from Tom to make sure work was on schedule and checking we were happy with the work done. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company...10 out of 10 !!
T H T made a number of repairs to my bathroom which has saved me lots of money in the long run and resolved my leaks. They were reliable, hardworking and tidy. The work was done to a high standard and I am very pleased with the results.
Thank you for reviews. I didn't get further than the quote. I sent photos of bathroom to be removed and photos of what we would like to be installed. I had a quote for goods and installation. Seemed a good price, so I asked where the shower, toilet and basin would come from so I could view. I was told: 1.I was told that I I had to accept the quote first before I could view anything. 2. That email also stated that the quote was only for installation. I would have to source
Tom and his team ripped out my leaky bathroom and installed a brand new one recently I can't fault the team . Tom was quick with a quote and feedback around fittings. The team on site were courteous and flexible with our wants over the two weeks Admittedly I had cheaper quotes but sometimes it's worth paying a bit more for the quality of workmanship Would recommend
Very impressed with the customer service, work ethic and attention to detail. Would highly recommend and would certainly use again.
Appalling customer service. They took longer than they thought and tried to charge an extra £1600 when they are just partially slow. They tried to say the kitchen was flat pack and because of that it took longer but they didn’t actually bother reading the plans sent to them as it stated in large letters on page 2 it was flat pack. Then when called out on this they tried to blame the quality of the plans. Simple they are just slow. They said because of the plans not being good they shouldn’t have to lose out. Well the customer shouldn’t have to lose out either because they are not quoting properly initially. I never agreed to this extra cost and frankly don’t have to spare £1600 otherwise I wouldn’t have gone with them if I knew this is how they charge customers. In addition, I originally went with this company over an individual because I thought there would be more protection and liability assurance. Furthermore, we found the kitchen fitter lying down on my sofa with his shoes on multiple times which is unacceptable. I do think if someone was home all the time to keep an eye then it would have been done quicker. The fitter was friendly and quality was good but this doesn’t excuse the time frame and excessive price from his company. When we queried the extra cost they ignored us for weeks and then sent the final bill with the extra cost on and said we had agreed when we hadn’t. Not sure how legal that is with a contract not being agreed by both parties. When we asked them about this and said we don’t think it legally stands if we didn’t agree they became sarcastic,arrogant and rude. They are trying to take down bad reviews on check a trade because they know how bad their service is and don’t want people seeing that they are trying to scam money from people. Do not use them for anything kitchen related.
As with some other reviews here, job overran partially due to THT, then charged 25% more than the original quote to complete the job. To be fair the quality of the workmanship was good, but they have a very unique view of customer service & satisfaction. I don’t know what happens on google reviews, but my Check a Trade view is being attempted to be taken down by company, sums it up really
Debs, the lady at customer service was lovely and knew exactly what the problem was even though I didn't have the correct technical words to explain it. The plumbers who came to do the job were very polite, very quick and the price was excellent and the good workmanship was even positively commented on by the men who came to deliver my new washing machine, so thank you THT, I will definitely be coming to you again when I need a job done.

As ever from THT, and excellent experience. The original booking process was efficient, and I was kept updated on when the plumber would arrive. The work was done quickly, efficiently and at a good price. THT will always be my first choice for any plumbing needs.
Updated - unfortunately having to change my review to one star given the issues we have experienced since the project. We've had to pay another plumber £300 to come in and fix the shoddy work of THT. The toilet wasn't refitted properly when the plumber did the floor and water has been gushing out and sitting stagnant in the floor. The leak has ruined the new flooring and the skirting board. Thankfully our other plumber has now resolved the issue but I'm now even more disappointed that THT ignored my request for compensation. (Overall my experience was fine and the final result is what we asked for. The engineer was very polite and tidy, and the office was responsive to the issues I raised. Unfortunately due to staff illness our project had to be pushed back by a week. I completely understand this can't be helped. Given my partner and I had planned our work travel arrangements and paid for special delivery, I did ask whether THT could compensate for this but never heard back. The project took 3 days longer than expected based on our initial consultation. Most days the engineer was with us until as late as 9:30pm and they had to come back to finish the work on a Saturday. We also had to ask for the engineer to come back again as the tiling was left unfinished.)

THT completed a new Bathroom project in our works mess room. They were very Easy to deal with, great communication, letting us know every evening who was coming the next day. Recommended.
Good service and good advice given.Managed to fix leaky kitchen and made good with the wonky cistern handle.Bath has now been replaced with lovely marble splashback and cradle taps are top notch. I employed the services after a quote consultation being excited by their professionalism and product range. We agreed the start date which was conducted with enthusiasm and staff arrived promptly with eagerness. The strip out went smoothly and was kept clean and tidy. (2 days) Unfortunately having to live in the house during renovations some of the preparation before the new components were fitted to the property it was left very untidy and not to the previous standard. After a little tooing and froing with the project manager this improved. We supplied the tiles for the project and their plasterer and tiler were both efficient, respectful and did a first class job. The second fix who finished off the fitting of all other components also met the same standard and left the area and property clean when leaving. We are very pleased with the final result which took slightly longer to complete than first quoted. Thank you.
Although there was a slight mix up with the arrival time, this was nothing to worry about. Steve was professional, explained everything he was doing during the boiler service and the service was painless and reassuring. I will recommend THT to anyone.

THT were fab throughout the whole process. A fair quote given for the job, clear & regular comms of when & who will be attending to work on the job each day. We had 3 engineers work on our utility room fit & all 3 (Karl,Mitchell & Aurimas) were friendly, tidy & knowledgable. We had 2nd fix plumbing completed for our sink & tap to be installed, base & wall units with doors & handles fitted, worktop, skirting & plinths fitted. All work done to a very high standard, we’re so happy with the result! THT we’re trustworthy & enjoyable to work with, we will definitely approach them for future work.
THT completely stripped out and refitted our en suite. Yes, there were a couple of issues during the work (when isn’t there) and it overran by a few days, mainly down to staff sickness which can’t be helped however everything was resolved quickly and the communication from manager Vicki was excellent. Having had other companies complete work for us I have always been slightly disappointed with the finished product but the work carried out by THT was excellent. We are very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend.

We have an annual boiler service with THT LTD. We have used tht on various work in the past & will continue to do so in the future. We had a boiler serviced by tht in July. Following this service the engineer, in our opinion wasnt as good as the previous ones and after the service, the boiler would fire up on it's on accord repeatedly through every day, at least 10 times every 24 hours. Due to covid & trying to arrange a visit from Tom Taylor, owner of THT, the problem was resolved on Aug 23rd. We've have not had ANY issues since then. Thanks Tom.

THT sent someone within 36 hours of reporting an issue with my toilet. They sent an email with a specific appointment window, which helped me plan my day accordingly. The guy who came was friendly, and COVID secure. He got on with the job quietly and cleaned up after himself perfectly. An overall great experience and would recommend them to anyone.

THT have carried out various works for us both domestically and for our businesses, and we have always been really happy with the work and communication from them. This experience was no different, we were concerned about a continuous gas smell coming from our (very old) cooker. We weren’t in a huge hurry as could cope without using it for a little while, but they phoned us back immediately with their safety advice and got to us first thing the next morning to inspect! Thankfully there was no leak detected after a really thorough check over of the cooker, the boiler and the pipe work. I felt horrible for calling them out, but was so thankful that they fit us in at this exceptionally busy time of year and were able to advise us and check for us so swiftly!! Thank you for the peace of mind and for your patience, kindness and most importantly your expertise. Also, the gas safe engineer from THT, arrived wearing his face covering and conducted a temperature check on me before entering, giving further peace of mind that they are conducting their extra COVID safety measures brilliantly and effectively!
