Chris Shephard The Plumber

Used Chris for the first time recently to fix a leak on a 25+year old toilet. Chris persevered, found where the leak was coming from, and talked me through the options. It wasn't a straight forward job and it had some complications but Chris managed to fix and resolve all. Very friendly, and fair pricing. Many thanks

Would highly recommend Chris. Chris has done two separate jobs for us. The first a small, awkward shaped ensuite and most recently our main bathroom. This also came with a few surprises, but Chris got these issues sorted quickly. We are really pleased with the finish of both bathrooms. In addition we know the plumbing has been sorted and fitted out to a high spec too. Communication has been great throughout the refits. Really pleased with the final result.

I researched three fitters/plumbers and Chris was the only one who provided a full breakdown of the works, with associated costs, eight weeks ahead of time. He worked through the pros and cons of different cost choices to help me choose the right shower for my budget and desired quality, while trying to find discounts to bring the materials down. In the end, through his assiduity, I saved 15% of the budget, without compromising on quality. This may not always be possible I'm sure, but I got the sense that he would always try his best for the customer to ensure they got value. The quality of the work was superb, and he is friendly, professional and - most importantly (as I find this is relatively rare) - an excellent communicator when it comes to unknown variables and helping laypeople understand technical information.

So happy with my new bathroom! Chris is not only a professional who can problem solve while on the job, but also a really lovely guy with great connections and experience. I recommend him, especially if you're tired of having companies sending multiple guys who don't communicate. With Chris, you get one guy who remembers what you want!

We had an ongoing issue with a leak on our toilet that had failed to be mended properly by another plumber. I spoke to Chris and, in spite of being busy with a bathroom installation, he came over to assess the issue the same day and was able to fix the problem a couple of days later. It wasn't a straightforward fix but Chris is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done. He also clearly explains the work he is doing, and the costs were very reasonable. Absolutely recommend, and we plan to go to him for future work.

Chris is an exceptionally helpful and skilled bathroom installation guy. He was flexible with our needs, explained everything really clearly and the end result was just what we needed.

Chris as professional and efficient as always, for our shower mixer valve replacement.

Chris is an excellent plumber. He came the same day to fix a faulty tap and communicated with us throughout. He provided advice on the best replacement tap and installed it quickly and to an excellent standard. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Hi - We so appreciate the plumbing service from Chris ! He responded immediately to our request for help with a radiator leak as it had fallen off the wall fixture. Chris was skilled in assessing the situation and carrying out timely appropriate repairs! It was such a relief ! ( Reasonably priced!) Thankyou Chris ! We are happy to recommend your plumbing services to anyone in need of assistance !!!

Chris completely refitted my bathroom and shower room a few years ago. I remain delighted with his work, the quality and attention to detail were exceptional. Chris is a lovely guy too, it's nice to have friendly people in your home. I'd highly recommend.

Did a great job on our bathroom and toilet would recommend

Professional job from Chris. He kept me informed every step of the way redoing my very old rotten bathroom. I had some unexpected problems (rotten floor joists) which were taken care of. Clear pricing in his quote and advice on bathroom supplies. He even cleaned my flat after! I would highly recommend Chris. Thank you! Tom

We are delighted with our new bathroom - Chris has transformed the space, overcoming all the issues that arose when working in a Victorian house. Everyone who has seen the bathroom has been extremely impressed. Chris is meticulous in his work, highly skilled, conscientious and friendly. The whole process, from the initial ideas of what we wanted to the final completion of the space was made as smooth as possible with Chris's expertise and knowledge. We would recommend him highly for any job, however big or small.

Chris quickly troubleshot and fixed a recurring issue with the seal around our bath cracking. When a subsequent leak occurred (inevitable due to an old bathroom) he came out as soon as possible to fix it. He also takes the time to explain his processes, is honest and clearly knowledgeable.
