Excellent service. Called them in the morning and they came out same day, and for an affordable rate. I was so impressed as I'd been trying to arrange an engineer to come do the job at my property for weeks and everyone else just let me down, or was unresponsive. Gaswise UK answered first time, came exactly when they said they would and did an excellent job.

Absolutely fantastic service, was having boiler issues for a while with no hot water to a failing intermittent igniter, and called gaswise, would have been out the same day if needed but arranged for the following due to me working, came and got us back with hot water in around 10 minutes and booked again to fit a new electrode, again faultless service, very knowledgeable and an honest nice bloke, wouldn't use anywhere else and will be booking for a service, Thanks again mate

What a fantastic life saviour literally! After a bodged meter installation we had our gas capped off on a Friday night at 9pm.... cold and no hot water. Called on Saturday morning and he agreed to come out later in the day to help us out at a great price for a weekend.Extremely friendly and professional and knows his trade well. My boiler suddenly stopped working one evening and I messaged Gaswise for assistance. Even it was after office hour, Melvin responded quickly and arranged to visit & check on it the next morning. Arrived punctually and for unknown reason my boiler was working again. Melvin made some basic checks and flexibly switched to conduct annual service check on my boiler instead as it was due anyway. Early next day, he proactively checked back with me if everything was still working fine; and actually the boiler stopped working again! I took some videos for him to see how the boiler behaved and Melvin was knowledgeable to make some initial diagnosis of the intermittent fault; visit again in the mid afternoon (again, very punctual). This time the root cause of the problem was found and fully resolved!! It's the time of the year that a normally functioning boiler is of utmost importance!! Very delighted that Melvin is responsive for my desperate call for help. He's very professional and friendly to work with. I have no hesitation to recommend Gaswise for my friends and neighbours!!

After having problems getting someone to come out and look at my gas cooker (another local person refused to even come out unless I could provide him with the model number while the actual oven manufacturer just tried to cross-sell me additional services when I tried to book one of their engineers), Gaswise UK not only came out on the same day I called them (gasp!) but also solved the problem quickly and efficiently... With reliability sadly a rare thing these days, I found the quality of service provided by Gaswise UK a very refreshing change.

Great service and very reasonably priced

Called Melvin for a boiler repair, and he cancelled the job on me apparently because I asked for clarifications on his quote, and would no longer reply to my messages asking him to come and finish the job. Bizarre and rude behaviour, unreliable. If he cannot explain his pricing, and on top of that behaves like this, it's not someone I would trust for future work again.

I would definitely recommend Gaswise. After talking to a company called Rightio, I Googled best boiler repair near me. Gaswise was in the top 3. Rang them at 5 pm. Melvin said he'd be there around 8.30 the next morning, and he was. My boiler had been making an unusual buzzing sound. Unfortunately, when Melvin arrived, the boiler wasn't making any sound, but he looked at it. It was overdue on the service, so he did that for a very reasonable price. Melvin also gave great advice on energy efficiency, like turning my water setting down slightly as I was heating it up only to have to add cold to wash dishes. I'm so pleased I chose Gaswise as they also saved me money as I'd originally contacted Rightio, who were charging almost 3 times the price before they'd even looked at the boiler. Great service, Gaswise. I'll be using you again.

Called at 8am and he was with us at 9.15am on a bank holiday for an emergency boiler repair. He was very professional and gave us good advice. Reasonably priced and very friendly. Would recommend and use him again! 👍

Time waster, had a service booked for mid of the week. The engineer didn't arrive even 2 hours after the scheduled window, he didn't bother to contact me about it and advise of being late or request to reschedule so I emailed him to enquire if he would be still coming only to be told he was stuck on another job. We then agreed to reschedule for Saturday but yet again, nobody arrived and no contact was made. Do not use, very unprofessional and only wasting your time!

The gentleman that came to install my cooker was very professional he was in time very nice to talk to and got the job done I’m no time He was also the cheapest I found but don’t let that put you off as his service was 10/10 Removed the old cooker installed the new very happy :)

Great experience, our boiler broke down, the owner come out after a few hours, fixed the whole problem in under 30mins, professional and friendly. We are new to the area so unsure who to trust, if you are in a similar situation, know that you can trust this business, efficient, fast, fair price. Used this company for a few repairs and boiler service in the past, now realised the prices are extortionate and work is not carried out to a high standard.

Recommended by local heroes on behalf of British Gas, our boiler has been having issues heating our hot water as the blue ignite light was flashing intermittently and the reset button kept of flashing on and off causing our water to run cold, I put the request though the night before as we are unable to shower or bath whilst this is on going, according to Melvin this was not an emergency and he could not see a problem with the water or boiler when he had arrived (I would not waste my time arranging someone to come out if there wasn't an issue to be addressed), Melvin arrived on time no doubt about that but his manor did not match his punctuality, he was a little rude when insisting it was not his job to remove the cupboard door - had anyone tell me this prior I would have removed the door. He did not listen to me regarding the issues we were having, he's got 30 years experience he knows best he can't see an issue so there isn't one, I beg to differ, reading the below reviews as well labour being around £65? I was charged £175 for 30 mins he tested the water and played with a few tools in his tool box just labour no work, if there was an additional charge because it was a BH nobody had the courtesy to let me know this, also seeing as we were insured I feel like this was taking into account when sending me a quote over - if I had the option to decline this i definitely would have as that is disgusting, he suggested we may need a new plate if the issue is with the pressure, this apparently is a two man job, and he couldn't even have a look because he was too idle to remove what needed to be removed, couldn't get out quick enough, funny when a replacement boiler can be fitted by just one person, amongst many other jobs yet some more complex are not worth the time of day. Your an engineer and you are suppose to know what you are doing and if your assessing an issue and I an telling you there is a problem it's your job to fix it that's what I am paying you for not to make assumptions and disregard your customer and the issues they are having, yes you came to look at the boiler because we have water issues, are they resolved no, do the issues still persist yes, did you advise on a solution, no based on an assumption, did you quote me for what you did yes £175 isn't justifiable for 30 mins work, checking the water pressure, looking at the boiler, running the hot water - I wouldn't recommend gaswise no, not now not ever, disappointing, patronising, unethical to say the least, my family were round and they were shocked by his attitude, I was embarrassed maybe he was having a bad day?

Fast service. Called before 9am with a boiler issue. Was in and first try at solving done by noon. Needed to order a different part and asked an associate for second opinion, which I really appreciated. New part arrived next morning and was again done well before noon. Fair price. Friendly chap and respected COVID by wearing a mask and keeping a safe distance me and the family.

I had a new radiator fitted in my bathroom. The service was prompt and efficient and the price was fair. Highly rwcommended.

Really had a very bad experience with gaswise. The guy who turned up didn't know what he was doing and just to increase the bill he played around with things. He agreed on a certain price if boiler doesn't work but after 6 days he said he can not do it within that price.Totally unethical and greedy man.

Absolutely rubbish! Service.. I never recommend to call and show the boiler to this people. The man who visit in the hose is so called gas engineer is a fake! It's said to make a perfect the boiler at the first time and took the money out then say he is not a man to repair the boiler..!!!! Is just exploiting money in the first visit then ignore the client saying doing nothing. I hate it. I suggest to alert other public not to come in their contact. They just steal money on every first visit then finish. Careful with such spam agency.!!!!!
