⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Handy Service. I needed some kitchen kickboards fitted at very short notice and had already tried several other joinery companies. Some didn’t answer, and one company promised to come out but let me down, even after I offered to pay extra for the short notice. Handy Service came out quickly, completed the job within the day, and did an excellent job. The workmanship was professional, the price was very reasonable, and the whole experience was reliable and hassle-free. It was a huge relief to find someone who actually turned up when they said they would and completed the work to such a high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Handy Service again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional service. Thanks again! Wayne

A measure of an excellent service is how it reacts when things go wrong. Unfortunately a curtain rail fitting lead to a burst central heating pipe. Handy Services communicated well throughout and put the damage right. I was delighted their service. It was very professional & I can highly recommend.

Really poor service and shoddy work. I asked Courtnee to fix a leaking shower, which someone came round to do. Four weeks later, the shower is leaking again. Messages go unanswered and he's supposedly arranged to come around twice and hasn't. No idea about professionalism, accountability or customer service. After Counter's response, posted below, "We sincerely apologise for the breakdown in communication and the missed appointments." "Sorry for the inconvenience caused and if you still would like this attending and resolving let us know. I did indeed get in touch again and he said he would arrange a date to complete the work, even if he had to do it himself. Of course, this hasn't been done, and again he hasn't responded to my phone calls or messages. What a pain in the backside this cowboy is. Clearly, once the money has been handed over, that's it. Where's the accountability? Don't bother using this outfit.

The man I spoke to was friendly and I was given a quote and signed the form, yet I have heard nothing for weeks, despite sending emails and relentlessly calling. I wish they would have just said if they couldn’t do the job so I didn’t have to waist weeks trying to get it sorted. Really disappointed.

Nottingham Handyman are a very professional and effective company. Their workers are friendly and good to work with, they have provided the property with general maintenance repairs at a good price and respond reasonably fast to our maintenance requests.

Very professional service. Prompt and efficient and with a great deal of care. I needed removal of valuable items and taken to storage without my direct supervision. Handyman Nottingham have absolute integrity and honesty in business conduct. It takes a lot to trust someone you don't know with valuable personal items. This was certainly no normal request and the service delivered was very impressive, fast and secure. I would definitely use them again and advise anyone else to.

En suite shower was leaking, water damage done to the walls and floor. Repair was effected over a few days. Dividing walls rebuilt and strengthened, all water damaged parts replaced, new tiling applied. Excellent work, friendly tradesman who explained the job step by step. All rubbish removed, en suite left tidy and clean. Would highly recommend.

Rang this company 6 days ago with a relatively small job I needed doing the guy I spoke to was friendly and polite took my email address and said would send me a quote for the job still waiting for the quote so this review is not about the quality/price of the work if the job was considered to small I would have appreciated for them to tell me then I wouldn't have had to waste my time waiting for a response looking at the reviews they had is the reason I choose this company I noted that some of the reviews given were people saying they hadn't got back to them the responses given that this was due to illness however that was months ago not recently thankfully I have found another company to do the job who ring when they say they will.

Our front door needed rehanging, it’s a huge wooden door from 1930. I rang HandyMan at 1:30pm and had a guy in the house fixing the door by 3pm! He had finished rehanging the door before he had finished his coffee! Fabulous service would highly recommend

Called up Saturday afternoon to see if they could fit a TV mount and floating shelf. I was told they don’t normally work weekends but they will see what they can do. Came out later that evening to complete the job. Very professional, tidied up after, and very good quality.

Great job installing a channel drain after our house flooded following months of torrential rain and excess from a neighbouring driveway. It has worked and the house hasn't flooded since.
