Neil was great, we originally had the job booked for beginning of December, but when our old boiler started badly misbehaving, he was able ro bring our installation forward. He did a full boiler swap with minimal fuss and mess. Fair priced inline with companies on the internet. He was very courteous and cleaned up after himself. Made sure everything was working and we were happy with the installation. Gave us a 10 year warranty on the boiler and said if we had any issues, to just give him a call. Will definitely be using him for any future plumbing needs and for servicing and maintenance of our new boiler. So lovely to have an energy efficient, quality heating and hot water system now.

Neil was great and came out to fix a broken pipe on my elderly mothers radiator (that had fell off the wall) on a Sunday morning. He returned later to fix the pipe and re-install the radiator. He kept us updated on everything all the way through, and was very clean and tidy in his work. I would thoroughly recommend Neil to anyone.

Very quick response and fixed the problem straight away

Have used Neil in the past and he has delivered again, as our boiler gave up in our 1930s property and required replacing. We were back up and running in no time. Old pipe work replaced and tidied up, old plaster around the flue repaired, and left our bathroom cleaner than when he started. Great service once again, can’t recommend him highly enough!

Great service, very speedy and thorough

With an inefficient and ageing heating system that was not able to heat the church effectively, the recent gas price hikes were costing us a lot of money. We contacted Neil to help and advise on the way forward. The result was a new boiler and a hydraulic pump to boost efficiency. This will save us somewhere in the region of 30 to 35 hours of heating time each month in the winter season, making the installation cost well worth it. Had issues with a Vaillant boiler losing water pressure. Wasn’t urgent but got a 2 day attendance and then a repair just 2 days later, the same day the parts were delivered. Excellent service and a price that matched previous repairs from years ago. Got a service as well and will use again for future service and repairs.

Outstanding! Neil is very knowledgeable and professional and even set my boiler to what it should be (I had this installed in 2018 and even the plumber who installed it didn’t do this, so it’s been running inefficiently for 5 years)! Hi had a problem with my boiler, I had hot water on the tap but not on the radiators, I’ve called one engineers and he spent 3 hours around it and change a couple of pieces , after almost £600 nothing, so I’ve called the engineers from valiant, so the professional of the brand… again nothing, after to the rescue appeared Neil and in 10 minutes sorted the problem that no one could find… I can’t recommend it enough, pontual, reliable, professional… he’s definitely your guy. Neil has done a great job replacing our boiler, adding some TRVs to old radiators and will be fitting a couple of new radiators in the very near future. He works neatly and efficiently, minimising disruption as he goes. His administration of quotes and invoices is very professional. His communication, handover demonstration and product registration is very slick and clearly he takes great pride ensuring that all aspects of the service he provides are first class. We inherited a boiler that was near the end of its lifespan and didn't have enough oomph to drive hot water to the end of the radiator run. We've used Neil before and knew that he would be able to help. He fitted us a modern boiler, some clever new pipework and an external pump to drive the hot water where it had never reached before. Our house is now toasty and warm throughout and we couldn't be happier.

After a week of stress trying to find someone who would sort out my boiler, which was under warranty with Viessmann, but they weren’t answering my enquiry, I came across Neil. I first contacted Neil for a quote after reading his excellent reviews and now the work has been completed to say he lived up to them and I’m more than happy with his workmanship is an understatement. He replaced my 40 year old boiler with the Baxi 830 combi and removed my old copper tank and water tanks in the loft which seemed like a big job but he did it with relative ease. He engaged a local recycling company to remove the waste and I left him with a key to crack on with the work whilst i was at work myself which he returned when he had finished. The flue from the old boiler had left a rather large hole in my brickwork which he bricked up with similar old style bricks to blend in perfectly and all his soldered joints were tidy without any runs, the quality of his workmanship is second to non leaving a very professional finish throughout, I won’t hesitate to recommend his friendly, professional and trustworthy service to anyone and will welcome him back each year to service my boiler and keep it in tip top condition as part of the 10 year manufacturers warranty

Neil installed a lovely new Baxi Combi with a 10 year warranty, and removed the old boiler, immersion tank and water tanks. He gave the system a full clean and fixed a few issues he found along the way (our house is a bit older so has character). He went above and beyond, and left the place infinitely better than he found it. Had a new condensing boiler fitted with modifications to the existing condense exhaust stack togeather with the new Hive heating management system and everything was great. Can’t thank Neil from Nottingham boiler solutions enough, we’ve experienced problems with our central heating system for the past 10 years, underlying issue was that the heating pump would not turn off which fired our boiler constantly, after having numerous engineers visit our property over the last ten years that left scratching their heads, Neil managed to diagnose and sort the issue within a couple of hours. Main issue was when our house was built the central heating system hasn’t been wired up correctly from the start, ie no earth to the programmer, no coloured cables used only black, absolute nightmare. We would highly recommend Neil from Nottingham boiler solutions, he is the only engineer that has been successful and took the time to fix/solve our problem, brilliant, thanks again neil 👍🏼

We got a super quick response and they quickly helped us track down the issues and although it couldn't be resolved on the day, they were able to give us the reassurance that the system was ok (ie not damaged by my clumsy attempts to fix it!) and should be up and running as soon as possible. Great service, Nottingham boiler solutions came to fix a expansion vessel which was causing the heating to go over pressure and releasing it causing the boiler to go to error e1 19 baxi combi duo tec. We also had a landlords service carried out. This was all done electronically with paperwork being sent via email which is great. In the last several years we haven't had any plumber strip the boiler like Neil did which was probably why the expansion vessel went in the first place. Neil has been servicing my elderly mother’s central heating system for many years and has always given excellent service. On a call out (no hot water!) Neil turned out within the hour at a weekend too! and gave me repair and new boiler options with reasonings for both. I took the new boiler option and within 2 days mum was up and running. After having some issues with our boiler, we contacted Nottingham Boiler Solutions for help. They responded quickly, booking in an appointment for the next day. After sending through photos of the boiler, they responded promptly with clear instructions as to what the issue was (low pressure) and how to fix it ourselves. He talked us through it step by step resulting in the issue being solved and there being no need for an engineer to come out the next day. They could've easily waited and sent the engineer knowing full well it was a really small fix. However, instead of doing this and charging us, they talked us through it and the problem was solved quickly - at no financial cost. With the current cost of living situation, it's really refreshing to have people who will offer their services and not see customers as money making objects. Could not recommend these enough - thanks again!

We had a full boiler conversion done from a back boiler to a combi. Ours is an older house so there were several challenges but Neil has done a great job. The installation is very neatly done and to a high standard , with good advice given to overcome any issues that were found. I was having issues with my boiler not turning back on, Neil got back to me very quickly and arranged to come inspect it. Found that the boiler was full of liquid and wouldn't restart due to that, tried emptying it out but still wouldn't restart. Gave me a quote the same day for a new boiler replacement and didn't charge for the check up. Came nice and early on the day to do the replacement, got it done within a day. I contacted Neil as we’d been having “issues” with our existing boiler. He offered to either source/price and fit the parts needed to repair it OR he could price a couple of new alternative boilers. We decided to opt for a Vaillant boiler as he thought that this would be up to the job of heating a large house and investment would be more economical in the long run. Neil turned up when he said he would. He retro-fitted an extra part that had been missed with the original boiler’s installation and he charged what he quoted. We’re that impressed by Neil we’ve arranged for him to carry out a yearly heating service and we are more than happy to recommend him to others. Excellent service!

Neil fitted a new boiler for me, going from a boiler with a (very small) hot water tank to a combi boiler. I now have enough hot water to fill a bath! Service was great, efficient, clean and tidy. Since installation of the boiler Neil has also completed regularly servicing and fitted out my new bathroom which looks fab.

If you need a first rate plumber then Neil is your man. I have always found him to be totally professional and does a first rate job. He worked hard to fix the problem but when it became more cost-effective to replace, he fitted a reasonably priced, energy efficient boiler in very quick time and with no mess or hassle. Neil has been excellent, his advise and knowledge as a heating engineer is staggering his work is very clean and tidy and would recommend him to anyone perfect job done.

We had a 10 year old valiant boiler which regularly lost pressure and stopped working at random times. I needed a reliable solution, installed by someone I could trust. I quickly got 3 quotes to choose from and asked further questions to allow me to choose the best boiler for us. We chose a Baxi 800 combi boiler with a very good manufacturer warranty. On installation day, both men wore masks and happily worked in the attic which is where the boiler is. They starter early to ensure we would not be without heating during the winter. We were very happy with the boiler and its tuning. The rooms were heating up a lot faster after the installation. There was a slight issue with regards to the amount on the quote, however, the quote was given in writing and Mr Borwick is a man of his words. This ended up being to our advantage. Overall, we got sound and professional advice delivered in a COVID-safe environment. I would definitely recommend if you need quality work at a reasonable cost.

I was panicking having found a large leak coming from my boiler and i happened to have Neil recommended by numerous people. Neil came to my rescue within 20 minutes and had fixed my problem completely and had it fully working within 90 minutes, that included getting a part from the suppliers. Neil was first recommended to me years ago when I bought a new house and had an issue with a radiator. Since then he’s installed new boilers for me, my mum and my brother. Kept them serviced and working! Sorted out problems with showers, leaks etc. Did all the gas work when I fitted a new kitchen including moving the oven and was even on hand when I drilled into an old gas pipe. Now I’ve moved and refurbing Neil will be called upon again for all the plumbing. A truly reliable and honest tradesmen!!

Neil did some work for us a few months ago as part of our kitchen renovation, and was very helpful. He already came well recommended, was easy to contact and proved to be very reliable. Neils work for us consisted of: removing radiators and refitting them for decorating, replacing some radiator valves, removing our old kitchen sink and removing an old gas pipe. All was done at short notice due to our other deadlines too. Neil was honest and professional during his works for us, and we would certainly recommend him (we already have to our neighbours!) We would definitely ask Neil back to do work for us in the future!

When using NB Plumbing he was always trustworthy and responsive. Neil reassured us with any queries we had about our boiler. Neil came out to our house a few times, 1) to find the problem, 2) to rectify the problem. Unfortunatley, our boiler was older then what we were told so there had been corrosion on the area Neil needed to work on in order to fix it. This therefore left us in a situation where we had to get a new boiler. Neil was really supportive, he did not rush us to make any quick decisions, he just wanted us to know he’d be happy to install it for us. Neil installed a new boiler at my parents house. He explained the options available to them so there were able to make am informed decision on what to have. His workmanship is great and it's obvious he takes pride in what he does. When finished he made sure everything was clean and tidy, even using his own vacuum cleaner. Highly recommended

First time called NB Plumbing out for a split pipe whilst decorating. Since then Neil has fitted a new boiler capped off a gas pipe. He service's our boiler and my mum's. I would have no problem in recommending Neil for any plumbing requirements.

I converted from coal central heating to gas. I obtained 3 quotes and in the end opted for NB Plumbing. The reason for this was the time taken to iron out some issues in the old pipework. Airlocks stopped one radiator from heating my sons room. An inline air valve was fitted which solved the issue. I also opted for an expansion bottle, in line magnet to remove a build up of sludge and a pump that Neil configured to serve the radiators. The boiler sent hot water to the tank. The idea was to take as much stress of the boiler which would aid longevity. For all the extras and a weismann boiler it was still 1.5k cheaper than the British Gas quote for a standard install of just a boiler. Another significant extra I had was a condense pump so the system can be emptied and pumps itself clear to an outside drain. There is a weather control sensor outside and the boiler is configured to required temperatures. All controlled by an app on my phone. I got very good value for money and great advice. The heating system is flawless and simple to use. Excellent customer service from NB Plumbing and my first choice from now on. Mr A Carlin

Excellent service from a very polite, knowledgeable and experienced engineer. We have a non-traditional heating system (two boilers). Neil took the time to complete a full system survey and then presented us with various options. He explained, in understandable terms the pros and cons of each manufacturer. We settled on a Veissmann boiler and a pressurised hot water cylinder. We now have a two sided system, running from one very efficient boiler, with state of the art controls and an abundance of hot water like we have never seen before. Neil arrived promptly everyday, worked in a tidy and efficient manner and was a pleasure to have in our home. Thank you Neil!
