Had a problem with our lock, saw Winlocks have great Google reviews and are local, called David and he was there within 90 minutes and quickly fixed the problem. It's good to see that old fashioned pride in doing a good job is still there. Highly recommended.

What a great service. My parents had locked themselves out of their property. Within an hour and a half this lovely, extreme helpful man had come and sorted out the problem. I recently purchased a canteen of cutlery on Facebook Marketplace. When I collected it the vendor told me he'd misplaced the key having locked the box, but thought I would be able to open it relatively easily! I couldn't, but luckily I knew a man who could. David Small of Winlocks is Winchester's answer to Raffles - The Cracksman. There isn't a lock he he can't pick and he quickly worked his magic. He then went the extra mile and fashioned a new key for me. I cannot recommend his services highly enough. He is courteous, professional and fun to deal with. And - what's more - very reasonable.

Have used Winlocks on three occasions now. Always turns up on time and has solved our problem each time with minimal fuss. On the most recent occasion I was quoted £200 to replace (what I believed to be) a faulty front door lock. Upon arrival it was quickly established that the lock was not the issue (the door hinges were) and the price was immediately adjusted in a downward direction! Would highly recommend and no doubt will require their services again in due course!! Number now saved to phone!!!

Excellent service end to end. I called David because we were locked out of our house and we had some specific personal circumstances that I made him aware of. He was very professional, prompt and came to our rescue within 15 minutes. He was able to open the door and then replaced the faulty mechanism for us. His service was excellent, would definitely recommend him. Everyone locally must save his contact details in case of emergency. You never know when you will need good local service. Don't bother trying to ring emergency locksmiths, I tried before I called David and they were unable to help!

After getting to the address suggested by Google... I realised that it was not an office or workshop. But a residence. So I could not actually get my bag locked fixed. However the owner was nice enough to return my calls and explain that his was a mobile operation. So although I could not get my job done, appreciate him retuning my calls. At least I got a good walk up the hill that day :)

We have today had a visit from Mr David Small who we had contacted yesterday regarding two door (front and rear) locks which were noted to be faulty when we recently moved into our new home. We would wish to recommend this locksmith company to anyone who requires security advice and attention to locks specifically. Mr Small quickly assessed the problems and advised us clearly about them. He quoted us for the complete job at the outset and proceeded with our agreement. We considered the cost to be very reasonable. He was able to effect repairs at the visit including replacement of faulty parts explaining what had gone wrong, why it was, and what he was doing at each stage in the repair process. His field of work in and outside the house was maintained clean and tidy. The results are good. We are most impressed by Mr Small's professionalism and approach throughout our contact with him. We are now in a position to rate Winlocks highly and recommend them to anyone who requires locksmith services.
I phoned Winlocks to ask them to carry out a security review to check that all was in order. The proprietor David Small happened to be working round the corner, and popped by within 15 minutes. He carried out a checkup on the spot and confirmed that all was in order, and no upgrades were required. I asked if I could at least pay for his time, given that it hadn't resulted in any further work for his business, and he waived any fee. A real gent, and honest with it!

David was asked by a third party company to attend and fix a patio door lock after they had been unable to source a part for some time. He attended, found the part and re-attended to fix the door all in the space of three days. Very professional service, would not hesitate to recommend.
