Keytek Locksmiths

Friendly, knowledgeable, informative and honest. Very impressed with Dan, a lovely chap!

I completed their 5 day training course. I really learnt a lot from the course and enjoyed their hands on teaching style. Would recommend it for anyone wanting to learn a new trade or expand their skills.

Very professional and the work was all completed without any fuss, and for a competitive, value price.

Amazing, polite and the request was last min and they did it same day!

Excellent service from the local engineer. Lock sorted in an hour.

Locksmith arrived very quickly (5 minutes)

Prompt and very professional service.

Was super easy to contact and were available soon enough. Fantastic diagnosis of the issue. Found it a little overpriced on materials as compared to market price but overall great work .

Brilliant service. Arrived promptly, sorted out the problem and mad ex necessary adjustments. Connor was excellent. Highly recommend Keytek.

Professional, friendly and fixed our mis-aligned patio door.

Great service. Responsive, prompt, helpful. Came out quickly on a Saturday afternoon after we locked ourselves out of the house. Got us back in quickly & with minimum fuss & no damage. Highly recommend.

Door lock was completely jammed. Engineer serviced and fixed it all in about 10 mins. Delighted. Thank you for a fantastic same day service 🩷

Very friendly and helpful, just adjustments needed and everything was explained. Including maintenance of locks.

Excellent service, quick and efficient. Lee was very professional and went above and beyond

Dan came out within 2 hours of posting on checkatrade and fixed all the locks on our conservatory. Stellar service!

Brilliant service and really enjoyed chatting with Daniel, the locksmith who came out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I found myself in a real bind first thing on a Monday morning when my car self-locked with the engine running and all my belongings inside. Keytek answered my call immediately, and a locksmith arrived in just 20 minutes. The engineer was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I felt such a massive sense of relief when they got the door open. Thank you for turning a stressful morning around—100% five-star service!

Booked appointment, didn't turn up. Phoned and they hadn't got the parts but never let me know until I phoned while waiting for them to attend. Cancelled their services (or lack of).

Spoke to Keytek ,veryhelpful .Lee arrived very quickly and completed work to a high standard.I would definitely recommend Keytek

Had a great couple of weeks working and training with Keytek. Tom the instructor offered great tuition and great feedback for all work carried out. Would definitely recommend a course with the team.

Arrived on time very polite and friendly a job well done. Thank you

Thank you so much. Lovely kind pleasant man put new lock on my pvc door that I had locked myself out of. Arrived in half an hour, clean tidy job.

Very efficient and friendly. He knew exactly how to fix the issues. Very pleased and would definitely use again

Friendly professional service

Quick response and great service. Nothing was too much trouble for Steve. The callout fee might look expensive but for this level of customer service its a great deal!

absolutely fantastic service was quoted 180 pounds plus VAT through my RAC. I called them up the next morning they were at my vehicle within seven minutes of the phone call and truthfully the guy was in my car door within a minute very skilled very pleasant couldn't be any happier and they charged with 75 pounds plus VAT I recommend these guys

Dave responded quickly to my call when a key got jammed in the lock. He freed the key and replaced the worn lock. Really nice guy, would not hesitate to use his services again.

Quick service. Thank you

Extremely quick and efficient service!

Superb service..professional,efficient,polite and punctual.. Thanks so much !

Exceeded all my expectations, a timely service and a thorough job

Great Service from Lee and the team At Keytek. Really impressed

Found my key would not come out of lock, Called Keytek who swiftly came out and replaced barrel 10 mins tops, service I would rate as first class, engineer knew what he was about all in all a terrific service my only concern was pricing it was stratospheric

Excellent efficient service.

A really easy process! Was by my side within 25 mins. Really lovely engineer and payment was smooth.

Daniel was on time, very nice respectful guy, reassuring and confident. Fixed the problem quickly so glad I chose Keytek.😊👍

I received quick response from a friendly team. A professional was sent over within an hour - he was friendly, very professional and had my door fixed promptly.

Amazing guy with a bit of a fight managed to get me back on the road even dropping me to my car so I didn’t need to get two bus’s I can not thank this company enough

Came out within the hour as promised. Your engineer was extremely friendly and helpful. The price was pretty steep considering it was a 2 minute job but I guess that's the price you pay for speed and efficiency - which I couldn't rate higher.

Excellent service - would definitely recommend. Arrived on time, new lock fitted quickly, happy customer.

I couldn't get out of my front door this morning. I contacted Lockfit Bournemouth and an engineer was assigned straight away and arrived within an hour and a half. Job was speedily completed. Very efficient and friendly service.

Contacted the company yesterday and was advised I would receive a call back today. Call received and discussion of issue. Fully explained what the faults could be, discussed the process and the cost Quickly and efficiently arrived and solved the problem at a reasonable cost also. Would highly recommend

Hassle free came out to my house supplied a couple of keys for my landrover discovery and then programmed them… absolutely amazing, I can’t recommend this company enough…

Very disappointed by Results of service . Poor diagnosis and ending up making me pay for nothing. I did not ask for the diagnostics machine to be used that i paid for . If one then does a diagnosis why did they duplicate a key that was working . So that means its guess work. Why make me pay for Guess work. Competency does not leave room for Guesswork. Disappointed client

Very very fast from first call to in the car was 10 mins

Very quick and easy to organise. Reasonably priced too!

Can’t fault them. Keys got locked in my car and they responded quickly to my enquiry, were able to come out to the car first thing the next morning (phone call was at 17:15 previous day and I said it could wait). The guy was lovely and also helped me jumpstart my cars dead battery! Thank you :)

I had my house and car keys stolen. I called Keyrek and they were quite frankly brilliant. All locks were replaced same day and the service was fantastic.

Friendly team and efficient. Came out same day and made flat secure until new parts could be ordered

Very professional service, quick to respond. Polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Great, super quick response, sorted problem out and got a spare for less than originally quoted. And at a fraction of the price main dealer were quoting.

Absolutely brilliant. No other needed .

Efficient, helpful, excellent work.

1st class service by Colin who got our door open with no damage to the door/frame. Very helpful explanation of what failed. Colin is highly recommended.

Fitted a new lock for us. He couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant while doing the job. Arrived quickly after I called.

Arrived on time. Friendly. Explained in full the work. Am delighted with result of the new lock.

Great service reasonable price helpful and professional technician

Keytek Locksmiths are truly fabulous. Punctual, efficient, professional and excellent value for money. Their skilled workforce and reassuring nature ensure the complete lock replacement was stress free and easy.

Very polite initial phone contact, and I was pleased with such a prompt response. The engineer, Colin was highly efficient and helpful, giving good, useful advice. Thank you.

Turned up when they said they would. The engineer was really friendly, very quick and helpful. No mess and no damage to the doors. Great service

Could not recommend this company enough. From the first phone call, quick and easy and really efficient. They came out to me about 2hrs after the phone call, key with remote was replaced and coded. Great value for money as well.

Great service quite expensive

Impeccable service provided. Your locksmith was on time and outstanding today, had my new key fob sorted for my car efficiently and professionally, a credit to your trade. Reasonable price, just what I was expecting. Will recommend to all at my place of work (Goodridge Exeter) etc. Thankyou.

Friendly service, understanding of me being such a pillock and a prompt and unjudging end result. Thank you!

Top class service. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent job

I recently used Keytek to come and replace a remote key on my daughters first car,as it wasn't working. I tried to fix the problem myself by ordering a new key housing online, but it didn't wwork. I phoned them in the morning and they came out very quickly. Lee sorted the problem with a new key, which is more robust than the old one. I would highly recommend them as they were very professional and knew what they were doing.

Very professional and polite engineer 😁

Great service

Called out on a Saturday. There locksmith came in good time. Ended up having the handle and lock changed. But this was due to my choice as I didn't have time for parts to be ordered and needed it done there and then. Don't know if the price was high or low tbh. Never had this done before but it wasn't much different to what I had expected. The guy that turned up was friendly and chatty. And was very patient with my nan who has dementia.

Great service, but expensive. Still worth even £ for a friendly, professional and expert tradesman to fix any issues with locks or doors. Permanent fix with warranty, what more do you need!

Really happy with the service. Lee was really helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend this company. Thank you for the help.

I called this morning and they sent someone out within 30 mins. I was warned that my car may have extra security systems which would mean I couldn’t get a replacement key from them and this happened to be the case. I wasn’t charged a call out fee which I was grateful for. He said he was going to try and find out some more info and would call me back, which he did a couple of hours later. Can’t fault the service and I would highly recommend. Thank you

Very fast service and knowledgable engineer.

Called up and operator on the phone was useful… had an engineer booked to come in 30mins, took him less than 10 mins to get into our Mercedes sprinter van which had a dead battery. Price was reasonable. Great service.

What a great service. Totally recommend.

We had Dan come out to us today. He was very friendly and a true professional . He did a fantastic job on changing our 4 locks. He was a wealth of knowledge and information on the subject and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would say he went above and beyond. So nice to have him do the job for us, we were very happy and now feel safe.

Very prompt , efficient service from call centre& Dan my technician … many thanks ! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👌

Phoned back in less than 10 minutes and at my house within an hour

Quick response time. Kept well informed throughout. Friendly, skilled contractors. The whole process from start to finish was very efficient. Would definitely use again.

Excellent service - locksmith took the time to explain features of lock and Yale. Serviced Yale and checked lock.

A National company but with good links to local tradesperson All was very professionally handled from call centre through the whole job within a few hours. Dan came out very promptly and was polite helpful and efficient. Good qualified locksmith would recommend this service

Called Keytek for our elderly neighbours as they’d locked themselves out. This is the second time we’ve had them out and each time the locksmith has been incredibly professional and efficient. Colin who came out today was wonderful and was communicative throughout the process.

Was able to arrange same day service and the price was also very reasonable. Engineer was very polite and efficient and I would definitely recommend.

Great service

I was referred to Key Tech by another locksmith company that wasn't able to help. Dean was very swift in getting back to me and I was booked in within minutes. Lee was able to cut and code my spare key for my Smart ForTwo 451 and he was very patient with the tight space he had to work with. No trouble at all for him. He explained and showed me the process on his equipment and did a full run through using both keys to show all functions working perfectly. Ideal aswell as very local to me and they could either come to you or I could go there. I opted for the latter. Very impressed with the service from start to finish and will be passing them future business most definitely. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you very much. Al

Excellent service. Prompt turnout and kept in the picture throughout. And this was Bank Holiday Monday!

Efficient and friendly. Thanks Dan for the great service!

Fantastic service! Even though my key was very worn, the technician cut a new key that not only functions perfectly, is also aesthetically pleasing.

They phoned me back within 5 minutes and had someone quickly out to repair our broken lock. It was pricier than we would have liked but they were very transparent with the price of things which I appreciated. Will use again!

Called mid Saturday afternoon to get an emergency locksmith out to my aunt who had locked herself out of her flat. Despite agreeing the details with the call handler and assured that someone would be with us in 30 to 45 min, after an hour we never received a call. I then called back to be told that I hadn't called them and they had no record. After waiting a minute or two and confirming who I spoke with, they agreed I had called but was then told that they had no one available so could not help. I'm not one normal to moan, but I'd say that this was rotten service.

Fast and efficient. No complaints and a good price. Many thanks

What an amazing company , only phoned at 8.30am and they were here by 10am . Thank you Colin for a great job done . A*

Very good service would use again

Fantastic prompt service. We had a new key and remote supplied cut and coded for our minibus. Lee was onsite the very next morning having contacted them on the previous evening. Highly recommend.

Be careful, this is some kind of agency where a private locksmith visits. He arrived in about 15 minutes and did a great job in less time than that, fixing an old jammed backdoor lock. Replaced a barrel, and the fee of £49 had added emergency fee, labour, parts (expected) to a total of £215! Nice work if you can get it. No invoice or work schedule details.

Didn’t show up to their appointment, when I had not received notice of cancellation. This was an emergency appointment I had driven 2 hours to get to and they didn’t show up. I had made the appointment with them less than 24hrs before. They were not even particularly apologetic about it on the phone: “you’ll have to find someone else”. Great…

Dan was a friendly person, gave expert advice, and did a job I am happy with. Thank you. PQ

The guys at Keytek were so helpful and really went above and beyond to help me with my issue. I can’t recommend they highly enough.

You guy had a hell of an afternoon of it, he was there for hours! None of his lockpicks worked on my RAV4, I was starting to think about putting the passenger side quarterlite in, when he got a long metal bar in and managed to open a window.

We have had Two visits of late both from Lee, Lee was upfront, honest and new what he was talking about and explained it in such a way that we understood, unfortunately the job could not be started due to needing additional works first from a auto mechanic, but a refund was completed instantly from head office. Would highly recommend this company

Brilliant, quick service. Remedied keys and dogs locked in the car. Thank you

Great swift service. Friendly and Professional locksmith.

Quick professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others in need

Fantastic service! Thank you to Lisa at head office and Tom the engineer in the Penzance area for getting me out of a sticky situation, the service was impeccable, they were able to work quickly and within a very small window, all whilst I was away and did everything remotely. Lisa was so pleasant and great at keeping me updated and Tom the engineer was really helpful and informative with great tips. Hope I don’t need them again but will 100% use if I need to! Thank you

Great course. Great instructors. Very friendly atmosphere.

Excellent service very knowledgable locksmith very professional and polite would recomend

Fast friendly efficient service. Highly recommend.

From phone call to opening the front door less than 30mins. Zero damage swift and professional service. DAN the engineer was the consummate professional. Cant recommend KEYTEK and their engineers highly enough

Excellent and speedy service

Called when locked out of the house, luckily managed to get back in ourselves. They cancelled the call out free of charge and were really reassuring over the phone

Rang to see if our area was covered. Which it was could have had a visit that day, but chose to book for the next day. Had a time window for arrival. Got a phone call to say locksmith was running over on the previous job and would be slightly late. He turned up and introduced himself. Great job done and it wasn’t easy. Kitchen window was stuck lock broken. Job completed well and in good time. Money well spent. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service - 2nd time I’ve used them for different door issues. Very knowledgeable and clear in pricing - both times was easy to book the call even late at night so they can attend the next day.

Absolutely amazing! Made an enquiry and they arrived to replace my van key in 20minutes. Very knowledgeable too. Thank you!

Fast, great service. Expensive but all costs are advised upfront.

Very pleased with the service Told it would be within the hour and 30 minutes later they rung to let me know the locksmith would be to me in another 30 minutes Did an excellent job.Was cheerful, helpful and professional. Many thanks

Excellent service thank you very

Fantastic service! Got the job done the day after I called and they even matched the price. Definitely would recommend

The service promises to send a locksmith by 30 minutes. We waited a total of two hours, punctuated by calls assuring us they would come in "30 to 45 minutes" repeatedly. They told us the locksmith picked up another emergency job before they were coming with us. They had no contact with the locksmith and could not tell us how much time we would have to wait. Very, very unprofessional.

Excellent service! Very skilled, quick and effective work. Would recommend to anyone, thanks.

It was an emergency as our neighbour had collapsed and was very ill and had double locked her door. It was a tricky job but the man who attended was absolutely amazing so calm and efficient whilst we were all panicking. He managed to get the door open with minimum fuss. Would highly recommend this company.

Amazing quick response time

Absolutely 💯 professional experience 👏 👌

Highly recommend if you require a locksmith! Arrived very quickly and was brilliant in getting the door sorted ASAP! Will use again for any future requirements!

Incredibly speedy service and very friendly too, managed to open the door and replace the lock in around 30 minutes! Very happy, 10/10 service all around.

Very good all round service

Very friendly, quick and efficient.

Shocking experience! Bad bad bad avoid

8 o'clock at night and my partner and I had locked ourselves out of our flat. We were given an estimated ETA of 1 hour but the locksmith arrived within 25 minutes. Fantastic service and we were back in our flat in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend for emergencies. Thank you!

Our locks needed changing, they came out within 2 hours and were extremely quick and effective. Sabin was friendly and was very helpful.

My husband locked himself out,I phoned them at 8.45am and sorted in a few hours and Lee was brilliant. We were happy with the price quoted. Would definitely recommend Keytek.

Super quick arrival and managed to unlock the car easily.

Exceptionally efficient and very fast service. Could not praise the locksmith that came enough. WOuld recommend to anyone needed help with their car lock.

Fast response. Solved quickly

I urgently needed a new key for my Skoda Fabia as the only remaining one I had broke suddenly. Lee from Keytek Locksmiths, Poole, was extremely helpful and efficient, arranging for his company to match an earlier quote which I had received from AA Key Assist and travelling over to my house within a couple of hours to provide me with a temporary solution to get me back on the road during the 7 to 10 day waiting period between ordering a new key and having it delivered and programmed to the car. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Helped us cut a new key and got us back on our way on our roadtrip

Colin went to great lengths to not have to force the door and need a new lock. Really appreciated that! Quick response rate.

What a fantastic company very good response time friendly and helpful definitely worth a call and thanks to the technician that helped me with my problem thanks again

Great service

Responded and came out quickly and then were friendly helpful and efficient.

Amazing service. A super fast response time, and such a friendly engineer. Lock fixed really fast and great advice on future use. Thank you so much!

Great info, clear details and quick response. I've not used them yet as the work is in the future, but the experience so far has been good.

Very professional and helpful technician, very happy!

Locked out was told it would be cheaper than breaking a window!! Over two hours later he drilled the lock out 2 hours ! Professional locksmith NO Nearly £300 to pay I will not or would not use again very expensive service

The initial contact with the company was perfect, they help with all question and concerns in a very professional manner. Once at the training facility, it was modern, clean and tidy. The instructor was was professional with a very good sense of humor, which helped the course flow. The small course size enables a very good working atmosphere and enables all to progress with confidence and gain the knowledge needed. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions very easily and in a way all understood. He took his time to work with us all individually, but without neglecting the other students. The working stations had plenty of room and the tools were all in good working order and there were spares available upon request. Overall a very professional training facility and company that I would highly recommend to anyone entering this field of work.

Very pleased with Colin's work and advice. Thank you for resolving our issues with 2 doors.

Access to home achieved quickly and efficiently.

Excellent service Colin came within 15inutes and got me back in after lost my keys.Colin was very helpful in explaining safety issues and would without hesitation recommend this company.Thankyou so much 😊

Wouldn't recommend

Excellent service from the office and Collin the engineer.

I somehow managed to lock my front door with keys still inside of the lock on the inside. It only took maybe 20 mins for someone to come out after I called which was amazing. Colin was so incredibly helpful and somehow managed to open my front door without drilling the lock or doing any damage whatsoever. Did the job quickly and saved me a whole bunch of money. I definitely know who to go to now if I get myself into trouble like this again. Thank you!

Very quick, efficient and helpful on a cold Saturday morning

The second time I have had them out recently, for 2 different locks, and the same engineer came out and did a brilliant job each time

Very prompt. Polite and friendly. Fixed problem quickly. Can recommend

Only 40% happy with the job done. Particularly with what I was charged. The response time was good though.

Keytek saved our skins this weekend - a cold wet Sunday morning in January. We arrived at my mother in law’s empty house, having travelled from an hour’s drive away to get there, and found we were unable to unlock the front door. It was a latch mechanism problem rather than the lock. One local company, found on google, unhelpfully offered 5pm as the earliest time they could get to the job - a 7 hour wait! Fortunately for us the next company we tried was Keytek - only a 2 hour wait. The man who turned up (David?) could not have been more helpful and meticulous in ensuring that we were eventually left with a functioning and lockable front door even though this was a struggle to achieve. The company still needs to order us a replacement part and then return to finish the job in due course, which I have every confidence they will do. I would recommend Keytek to anyone looking for a locksmith, emergency or otherwise. Excellent service 🙂

Top Job!

Really quick getting out to us, even late at night the service was friendly and informative. Very quick to get us back in our home

Very good service. No complaints!

Excellent service , polite and professional 👍

Colin was very friendly, polite and informative. Very helpful and quick, I am really grateful for his expertise.

Excellent service was here within half an hour. High quality skilled locksmith and a friendly guy. Very pleased. Thankyou.

called them up in a panic after locking myself out of my bedroom and the guy on the phone picked up very quickly, not sure if it was the same or a different guy that then turned up but i believe his name might have been david? very patient, friendly and professional, didn’t do anything without my landlords permission, and we were in within an hour and a half :) in the nicest way possible i hope i dont have to call again but if the need arises i know i can trust these guys to do a good job !

Fantastic service, steve sorted our lock efficiently, very friendly would recommend 👍

Colin was fantastic and very knowledgeable, fixed our issue within mins. Great work!

Quick and efficient service

Today i left a key inside my door, moved a car then couldn't get back in as the key was still in the lock inside. No phone, no wallet, frosty and i'm nearly 80. A neighbour phoned Keytek for me as they were local. They may work a wider area and have local men all over the place, i'm not sure. The young lady explained the cost and said a locksmith would phone my neighbour 10 minutes before arrival. Waited about half an hour in my car with the heater on. Neighbour came over and said 10 minutes and they'll be here. I thought new locks £40 each but as an emergency it'll cost hundreds, then getting keys cut etc. luckily i haven't much but could cover a few hundred. Fact is the locksmith Colin was efficient, on time, polite, charged the basic charge as explained to me by the young lady on the phone. ALL WENT AS THEY SAID IT WOULD FOR £109.20......FIRST CLASS SERVICE BY THE PHONE OPERATOR AND THE LOCKSMITH. THANK YOU KEYTEK. John Pick Poole 5 stars at least.

Very good experience, technician arrived when the company said they would. Naz was polite, reassuring and knowledgeable. He was straight forward and got on with the job. It was very expensive however so a price comparison would be best. If a time factor involved then it was preferable.

Great service, had us back in within 30 minutes of calling. Would recommend!

So quick at answering and the chap on the phone was excellent as put my mind at ease that the kind of lock was one of their specialties. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but I hope his sneezing fit subsided. Colin the locksmith was over within 20 minutes in an emergency and made it clear what our options were. He gave us really clear advice and was able to keep the cost of the whole thing down. Had the patience to let one of us get back to try a second key which saved drilling the lock. Thank you Colin!!! What an absolute legend and so friendly. Will absolutely use again.

Fast, efficient, and friendly service. I would definitely recommend to anyone who requires a locksmith

Excellent service. No complaints what so ever. Recommend the locksmith who did the job.

Efficient reliable service

Great service

Very impressed with the service the lock was repaired within an hour of requesting the repair

I was so impressed by this service. I’d arrived at my mother’s house to discover a problem with her back door. I phoned & within an hour or so a fantastic locksmith arrived. He was calm, thorough & above all - kind. I was so impressed. Money well spent. Thank you.

Not recommended. Locksmith has arrived in 1h, but after 1.5h fight with lock he gave up. Instead of drilling drum he want to cut hinges to take off door. After phone call to office he jump into van and disappeared. And that lovely voice of woman from office saying 'don't forget to charge them' - yes, I heard you.

Prompt, efficient, identified the problem a replaced it in under an hour, thoroughly satisfactory. High cost but was told up front and there weren't any surprises

An excellent and invaluable introduction to a career in Locksmithing. This Diploma Level 3 course was professionally presented in a relaxed environment. I feel very confident with what i have learned and know that Keytech will provide any help or backup now that i have qualified. Highly recommended.

Had a part ordered from them the first week in July, I was told it is difficult to get hold of. When I have rang for updates I'm told they'll ring me back but doesn't happen. Its now nearing the end of August and I got locked in my house at around 1.30pm and I'm told they have coincidentally got the part today and can come out at 6pm. There's a guest in my house who needs to have his insulin before he can eat and can't leave My house to get it and is expected to wait til 6pm. They didn't want to send another engineer out as it would result in a call out charge when they were the ones who have took nearly two months sitting on a part to fix my door and letting it get this bad. Tried to tell me there was no engineers available suddenly when they are supposed to try and get to you within half an hour but they apparently have no one available for nearly 5 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. Book another company that doesn't leave you waiting nearly two months for a part and values the welfare and safety of their customers, not just their payment. Called another company who came out within 30 mins and did a job that took this company nearly 2 months to not do.

Reported problem with door lock engineer arrived within the hour and fixed problem in 20 minutes. Excellent.

Cannot fault the great locksmith who attended the job and got the work done quickly. However they were a sub-contractor of KeyTek, and KeyTek themselves charge through the nose for work. If you want a good local locksmith at a reasonable price, don't go through KeyTek do a search yourself.

I had such a great time on this course. Not being from a trade background myself, I was starting from a less competent position when compared to my course peers, though at no time did this matter. The course was challenging but not beyond even my capabilities. I will of course need to practice some of the more difficult skills, such as picking locks in order to become more competent over time, but this is true as with any newly acquired skill. The trainer, Tom, was knowledgable, friendly and accommodating. In summary, I would give this 5/5. Thanks to all at KeyTech.

Very helpful and friendly staff, who are more than happy to help you with any queries you may have. Throughout the duration of the course, the instructor was knowledgeable, approachable and very professional nothing was too much hassle and set you at ease from the first morning of being in the classroom. The course was an absolute pleasure to attend and I would highly recommend it to anybody that is considering a career in either carpentry or locksmithing.

I definitely would use Keytek Locksmiths in the future when needed. Professional, respectful and arrived within the timescale agreed. Completed the repair, gave advice and 5 new keys. Drama free!

Good rapid response service . Steve was friendly and efficient.

Fantastic service, called to get a quote and an engineer came within 30 minutes. The job was completed in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Very quick to complete the job. Was able to gain entry without even drilling the lock. Very polite and talked through everything that was going on as he was doing it.

Excellent service. Dealt with quickly and kept updated all the way.

I needed a locksmith at the weekend to repair my balcony door which wouldn’t lock. I found Keytec on Google and phoned them up. They were polite and helpful and explained the cost of a weekend call-out against a weekday one. I was ok with that and a locksmith called within the hour. He was polite and tidy and did an excellent job. He also took the time to explain to me the correct way to open and lock the door. Certainly a five star service

A prompt and professional service by a thoughtful and capable technician. Cheaper than I feared and my day got back on track quickly.

The locksmith arrived at the specified time. He was very efficient and managed to sort the problem out quickly. His work was carried out cleanly and left no mess and cleaned where he had worked

Hi I don’t usually revie here but can I just say the guy I spoke to at this company was lovely. I was in some state. Thought my keys had been stolen and house keys were on them. Needed locks changed asap. The chap assured me it would be done and was so sympathetic. Cut a long story short had to cancel an hour later as keys were found. A stroke of good luck and divine intervention. They were on the roof of my husbands car. I phoned chap to cancel and he was so understanding. If it ever happens I need a locksmith I will definitely be phoning him again. Thank you very much.

Very efficient service provided. Helpful & relevant advice given on the options available. Thank you very much.

Very fast professional service Would highly recommend the gentleman who was able to gain entry for us

Highly professional outfit delivering a challenging, rewarding and fun qualification. A very skilled and knowledgeable instructor who shares with enthusiasm, pride and humour. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

I thoroughly enjoyed this training package. It was the perfect mix of practical and theoretical work. By the end of the 8 days I feel very confident that I can manage by myself knowing that if I am ever stuck, keytek are only a call away

A patio door lock needed replacing and by coincidence we had a similar problem with the front door lock a week later. The locksmith who attended was very professional and friendly throughout.

Fantastic facility, great instruction. Now I’ve finished and passed, looking forward to using my skill I’ve been taught.

Absolutely awful experience. Technician overcharged me and was verbally abusive.

The locksmith was very good at his job and helpful, he managed to get the broken key out without the need for new lock, very prompt timekeeping arrived on time, if there is a time in the future will use them again!

Very thorough course with a very knowledgeable instructor. The whole process and service from start to finish was outstanding.

I did the 8 day Highfield course and found it an excellent experience. I have done a number of courses over the years, but this had a superb blend of practical hands-on working, alongside appropriate well delivered theory. Everyone I dealt with - from those who took the course booking, to the main tutor and those who came in to support, were unfailingly friendly, professional and enabling. Many thanks to all at Keytek. I can heartily reccommend this provider.

Amazing friendly staff. Tutor was exceptionally knowledgeable and very patient. I would definitely be recommending Keytek to friends.

The locksmith did not repair my lock as requested. I am still being harassed to pay £106 call out for a job that was not completed. I would avoid this company and choose a local locksmith.

He was very efficient did a good job. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Great professional engineer in the Chichester area, responded within 20 mins, full and easy explanation of the work to be carried out and no call out charge!!!

Fantastic service, Mark arrived within an hour and had the works complete within 30 mins of arriving. He was very polite and professional and explained everything he was doing. A great service.

An excellent training package - Highly recommended. I recently attended a course at this facility to attain a Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Locksmiths and Property Security and Level 4 NCFE accreditation. I started with no experience and left with confidence and a passion for locksmithing. This was an excellent course that was expertly delivered in a relaxed environment that was both challenging but equally rewarding. The trainer had a lot of time for the students allowing ample time for each training scenario, any areas that needed extra time then this was afforded without hesitation. All information presented was clear and consise and anything on topic that was asked about outside of the syllabus were answered - I can't praise this course providor enough other than giving them my highest recommendation to anyone that is interested in the Locksmith Industry - this is one of the best courses that I have completed that is both practical and theory based, and top top it off additional support is offered even after the course has finished.

The course great throughout. The facilities are modern and fully equipped, and it was obvious that Tom was really knowledgeable about the subject as well as doing a great job teaching us how to apply what we knew in a practical setting. The learning materials were really helpful, clear and easy to follow during the lessons, and the teaching was a good balance of theory and practical, with most of the learning done through practical demonstration followed by plenty of time to practice fitting, upgrading and drilling. I had no previous experience of locksmithing, but the course got me to a place where I would be comfortable delivering a wide range of work, and also in finding answers to problems I encounter.

great service and attentive, thank you

An excellent course, run by experienced, working locksmiths! Small class sizes means that everyone gets all the help and attention they need and no one is left behind. Highly recommended, trainers are excellent!!

The engineer promptly arrived at our premises. He assessed the situation in a very professional manner, then carried out the unlocking of our door with no damage to the door or lock. What a lifesaver to assist us on a Sunday afternoon! Very grateful.

Very good course, materials and overall training. Highly recommend.

Attended course in July and the tutors where very knowledgeable in the field and the training room .not only was the course presented well the tutors also gave you idea's of what problems you might come across in the field.the training in whole was excellent would recommend to others who maybe thinking of the line of work 👍👍

Terrible over priced and ill mannered, left me outside in the freezing cold for 2 hours because the locksmith this Call Centre as they are Not locksmiths sent was useless, didn't have the tools nor it seemed the experience to get me back into my home. Absolutely disgusting service and wouldn't let another of their so called staff which are actually sub contractors anywhere near my home again

The service was excellent ,& professional & helpful.from the first call, prompt service and a friendly lock Smith in your home . I would recommend this service 100% with ☆☆☆☆☆+ service 🙂🙂.

Excellent locksmith. Reliable and quick to attend. Would definitely use again.

Waited for a few hours after making a booking, only to be told the lock smith is not coming. Big waste of time for me.

Very thorough and hands on training. Made to feel at ease and able to learn at a good pace. Being a complete beginner I can't believe how much I learnt. I continue to learn every day but that initial training has helped me in every job.

The engineer was very efficient and helpful

Could not resolve problem at time of visit but looking to resolve when correct part can be sourced.

Good and prompt, however didn't clear up mess of drilled out lock on decking after... at that price !

More than fair price, great service..fast responce.. turned up as planned... job done ! 👌👊

Very professional, kind & helpful service

The man that came was fantastic really cant recommended him and the company enough brilliant customer service I would use again but did cost over £550 but needed my back door fixed the locking mechanism on back door had snapped the door is over 25yrs old took 2 days to find a part and fix it also he wore a face mask and so did i

Sadly this company didn't meet expectations. I rung to request course info and dates for my husband. Was told they'd be with me by the end of the day via email. 5 days after this initial contact I have rung each day to advise we're still waiting on the email with course info. Each time I've been politely reassured by various staff members that the info would be sent that day and apologies have been made. Some 7 days later, still no email. Disappointed, and my husband has made the decision to go elsewhere. 2 stars given as the company were always very polite and courteous on the telephone.

I been locked out the shop where I work on 24 th December ,shops closing down cold ,alone and without my back ,my coat ,money home key ,shop key ,phone mobile with numbers ,I was terrified .I rang another Keysmith company who told me that they were not available to help me ,after I phoned Keyteck Andree did a clean fast and polite job ,with good manners and kindly ,by phone they told me 25 to 30 minuts wait but was 15 minutes,Very happy with this company.THANK YOU ANDREE AND KEITHECK.

Fantastic, knowledgeable, polite, professional. So impressed with the training, that I now subcontract for Keytek. Highly recommended

The 5 day course was really good, great atmosphere. The facilities were really good as were the work stations , tools , lunch , information. Tom was very good teaching us throughout the whole week. A great experience and can't wait to become a locksmith !

I cannot fault anything. The answer to my telephone call by a real person was extremely helpful and polite. The operative, Mark, arrived within about half an hour - sooner than the 1 - 2 hours predicted. He repaired the lock on my double-glazed balcony door within half an hour and gave very useful advice, not only about that door, but also on the bathroom door handle. The balcony door lock works much better than I remember it having done before.

After getting locked out with my two year old on a Tuesday morning whilst on our way to nursery. I called Keytek, who were lovely. Timothy, the locksmith who came was great and kept me updated on how far away he was. It took no time at all to get back in the house and I was very relieved I could pay by card! Who carries cash these days?!? Definitely recommend!
