⚠️ Warning to others ⚠️ We found LRS Locksmith on a sponsored Google advert when searching for a local locksmith in Newport (Stafford) and called the number listed. However, the call appeared to redirect to a different company without us realising. We genuinely believed we were speaking to LRS, but it turned out to be another company called General Services, who attended and charged us £628 after originally quoting much less. This doesn’t seem to be LRS’s fault at all, but there may be an issue with their listed phone number or a redirection happening that needs looking into, as people are clearly being misled and potentially scammed. Just a heads up to others to double-check who you’re actually speaking to before going ahead. Really upsetting experience and I’d hate for anyone else to go through it

Great straightforward professional service. I would recommend.

Absolutely blown away with LRS. From calling at 10am the job was finished by midday. Such a nice guy too. Would 100% recommend and use again

Just got ripped off. Dude doubled the price after the door was opened. Don't use these guys.

Great service. Asked for an installation of a push button lock and installation was superb! Highly recommend

Quoted £45 to come out and get my door open then turns up and triples the price to £150 not a complicated problem just bottom latch on bi-fold catching. Stay clear of this company will just waste your time

Tried to tell me a new lock will £800 pounds but I got the same one from screwing for £114...

I am absolutely shaken writing this review. I contacted this service to see how much it would cost to fix an issue I am having with the door. The man on the phone told me the price and I said that its ok and thanked him for his time (politely) and when I was ending the call, he shouted on the phone to me in a language I did not understand then hung up. What the hell? Thank God I did not follow through with this service.

Quickly came out to help me with gaining entry and changing a lock. Thanks.

My problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently, cost was very reasonable.

I Highly recommend Lishai. Very honest, very quick, very professional and quality work. He came out super quickly. Within less than 2 minutes of arriving he said he had worked out the potential issue. He said it was easily fixable, and that if his initial diagnosis was correct, that we wouldn't need a new lock. I had researched the problem before he arrived, and when we initially asked him for the quote, I had said that he might need to carve out a new area in the wooden door for a new lock. This is because the (mortice) lock was old and a size that is not really available anymore. I was really surprised that instead, Lishai said our current lock was very good quality and that it wouldn't need replacing/that it was easy to fix. He literally could have told us anything (eg that we needed a new lock etc) and we wouldn't have known. Instead we only had to pay the fee for his time. Which was £70. So impressed by his honesty and efficiency.

Thankyou Lish, you were prompt and respectful. Hight recommended
