LockRite Locksmiths Colchester

Contacted Dennis to change locks on a new build home. He arrived early, answered the phone quickly, texted the exact price which is also the price i paid. He is knowledgeable, efficient and reliable. I found him to be so easy to talk to and ask questions. He has so much expertise in other areas also, I was very grateful for his advice on other things too. I would highly recommend Dennis and I know that I will call him again for future work. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I needed my front and back locks changed at very short notice, and the service was excellent! The locksmith was polite, efficient, and trustworthy, with very reasonable prices. He explained the process clearly, and the quality of his workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was in desperate need for a key cut after 6pm and these guys sorted me out. Amazing service overall

He is a true gentleman, his professionalism and help, created unforgettable moment that I will cherish forever.

Dennis is always so friendly and helpful. I needed his help on a Sunday and he was here within 10 mins and helped me gain access to my house when I was locked out really quickly

Dennis is highly experienced, trustworthy and excellent value. He gives sounds advice, does the job efficiently without fuss or unnecessary expense and has always been quick to respond and visit when myself or my elderly parents have been concerned with non functioning locks/home security. A really nice guy who I'm very grateful to have in my contacts.

Dennis was lovely. He came out straightaway, knew his stuff and was very professional.

Arrived in about an hour. Very nice gentleman. Carried out a fast and professional job. Gave me advice about things I didn’t know. I would definitely recommend him to others. Many thanks.

Good reliable service. Thanks.

Just called to ask about a window repair but they don't deal with windows, however he was really helpful and gave us some advice on what we can do for the meanwhile to secure our home, even thohgh its not somethingthey do. Thank you for your time!

Excellent, prompt service from Dennis - would highly recommend

Exemplary service. Low cost for key cutting, and when they didn’t work due to the lock being ancient, he popped over and sorted it!

Denis is really professional and great with delivering customer service that is above and beyond. He cut keys for me after my keys cut by Timpsons didn't work - this was at 7.30pm when every other key cutting service was closed. Absolute life saver this evening as I had a tenant moving in and needed these cut urgently. Needless to say I will be using his services and recommending him to EVERYONE!

Great service my mums lock had stuck and he provided a quick and reliable service..very impressed definitely recommend him

The best tradesman I have had dealings with for years! He gave me the best price which I accepted on the phone then reduced when the job was done, after showing up 10mins early, did the job quickly and efficiently. He advised me on how not to make the same mistake, and cut me a free key. AND ALL ON CHRISTMAS DAY!!!😀

A lovely man with great knowledge who worked quickly and carefully

Highly recommended. Speedy response to request for assistance and work carried out at reasonable cost.

I found Dennis of LockRite Colchester to be highly professional, very helpful and with no rip off call out charges. He was prompt with all communications. Dennis had occasion to come back and do some additional work on the door and refused to charge for his labour on this second job even though it was a separate issue to the door lock. Cut additional keys for me in his van. An all round decent chap whom I would not hesitate to call again or recommend to friends.

Prompt friendly service. Information on the process of the job and cost was clearly given.

Dennis worked with alacrity, skill and care would definitely recommend.

Quick answer, had parts in stock ready to repair, great price will definitely use again for future without needing to Google. A***

Brilliant service from Dennis - called him on a Sunday and he was with me within 15 minutes. Really helpful and a lovely guy, I highly recommend him!

Absolutely faultless. I needed a key cut for my care home asap so I called Dennis and he was at my door within 10 minutes (and on a Saturday). He carried out the procedure within minutes right outside the property with no problems and was very professional. Thanks very much

If you’re a Landlord looking for a locksmith to attend as Bailiffs evict tenants from your property, then DON’T bother calling LockRite. LockRite ‘do not agree with bailiffs’ -even if they have been appointed by the County Courts. This matters not. Obviously it’s fine for your tenants to carry on sitting in your property rent-free. I have no judgement on their quality of workmanship, which I’m willing to assume is nothing less than first class. Providing they will actually accept your business.

Great service very quick too
