LockFit Colchester Locksmiths

Initially Bogdan gave honest advice on how I might be able to solve the issue myself but to reach out if I still had trouble (always a great sign). I wasn’t able to fix it myself and Bogdan came out same day and kept me updated on his ETA. He completed the job to a high quality and our door works properly again! Would 100% recommend.

Really nice guy came at extremely short notice and then back again the next day, would highly recommend and will be my first go to if I ever need anything else!

Very professional company, job done quickly and tidy definitely use again

After initial telephone call Jacob came 30 mins later and fully fixed my front door, which had broken probably due to hot weather. The job done was fantastic and I would definitely use him again for any further work. I will also recommend him to friends and family!

Can’t recommend Jacob enough. Super friendly, talked me through everything he was doing and was incredibly reasonable about his pricing. Thanks so much for the great work.

Got Caymen over yesterday after talking to Tom, to swap a lock. These brothers know what theyre doing! Im gutted I couldn't meet him as I was working... but my mum absolutely raved about him. She said she couldnt find any fault, he was clean, polite, genuine & caring. And absolute gem. I would 100% recommend this company (already have done), will use them in the future. They were also really fast in attending even though my case was non urgent! Bravo lads! Keep up the amazing work! 🥰

Would definitely recommend this company and if necessary use them again they were perfect

Great customer service. Contacted them this morning and they came out today. The door only needed greasing and they would not take any payment, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

I recently had to have a lock change and was recommended by my insurance provider to contact LockFit Colchester. The service they provided was excellent. Having made contact with Tom he told me it would be probably the following day that they would be able to change the lock . In the meantime he would be in contact with one of his engineers in the area and if free would come over to look at the job. Cayman was in the area and came over 2hrs later. He assessed the job and told me he would be able to replace the lock there and then I was so impressed I asked if he could replace another lock for me . He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me all the relevant information and advice so I could make an informed decision. Great price point as well. I would definitely recommend this firm and Cayman and Tom in particular. Thanks guys for such great customer service.

Brilliant service. I messaged yesterday afternoon (Saturday) and Cayman gave me an instant quote and then came round the next morning and fixed the problem. He was very professional and helpful. Would 100% recommend.

Excellent response time. Very satisfactory service. Reliable and approachable. Highly recommend.

Caymen showed up early and replaced my door gearbox, quick diagnostic and done in half an hour or so. Nice chap and quick, efficient service. Cheers chaps!

The service from Caymen was outstanding! He kept me updated throughout the day of his ETA and quickly replaced the gearbox on my conservatory door. He demonstrated real pride in his work and took extra time adjusting the door and meticulously cleaning the uPVC before he left (at 6pm on a Friday!) Thank you!

Lock mechanism failed and I was unable to get into my house. Arrived when promised and fixed there and then. If you need a professional give them a call.

Great service, really took the time to explain everything and only replaced what was actually necessary - thank you Cayman and Tom

Great service from Tom & Caymen! We had Caymen look at our lock and he was very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Our door put a bit of fight up but Caymen would not be beaten and clearly took pride in his work. Very fair pricing, we would highly recommend!

Came across Lockfit on Checkatrade and their reviews speaks for themselves!! Fantastic service received from the moment I made the call, to them then coming out to access the issue and fit a new lock. Quick to sort, extremely reasonably priced and both Tom and Caymen gave incredible customer service! So glad to find a fantastic local company... Throughly recommend 🤘🏻

Stefan and his colleague were very professional, punctual and very clear when explaining what needs to happen and why. They were honest and did a really great job on our windows. They were essentially called for what we thought was a problem but quickly found a real reason and sorted it. Highly recommend Stefan!!

Arrived quickly and got me in the house within minutes. The price was less than I was expecting for a locksmith to charge at that the end and at that time of night from previous experiences. Very clear on costs.

Great experience with LockFit. Very responsive, helped me understand the options, helped me get a good digital lock installed

They were extremely efficient. Responding immediately and making recommendations offering a number of alternatives together with the pricings. There was no pressure to pick any of the options. They were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anybody.
