Great service! Someone attempted to break into my flat causing extensive damage to my locks and door, so I called Williams as they were fairly local. He gave me a great estimate on the phone, arrived in quick time and got the job done in a nice quick, clean efficient manor, and the price ended up lower than estimated! And now my front door works better than it ever did! I can not recommend James enough. Seriously, if you need someone local to Bournemouth, call Williams Locksmiths for sure!

Came in 30 minutes. Was calm, professional and not only unlocked a jammed door to my lounge but suggested removing the handle while I wait for the estate agents to replace it. This would have prevented it happening again (dodgy self closing fire door without a handle!) so this was much appreciated.

Today James was absolutely brilliant. High work ethic, arrived on time, definitely went the extra mile and has handled the unexpected work brilliantly. After having the cylinder changed following a house purchase, James didn't just repair our door by tightening the screws on the actual door, but he took the whole lock out, cleaned it and tried his very best fix it. It was super stiff. I then asked him if he was able to change it as the lock was super tight and stiff and I was worried of long term issues. James popped to a local shop, returned with a brand new lock and fitted it in no time. I never leave a review, but as I found him on Google and picked him based on other reviews, I want to ensure others can find him as well. I would highly recommend his services and would give 6 stars if I could.

On a bitterly cold pre new years night, I was locked out of the house. Key wouldn’t turn to lock or unlock. Rang James and he was at mine within 20 minutes, which was so much quicker than I was expecting and even better than that, the door was open within 15 mins! Brilliant service from James who was a great guy and his fees were very reasonable too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his service to my friends and family and if I need a locksmith ever again, he’s the man I’ll be going to.
A really professional and skilled local locksmith who did a really good job at a reasonable price. Comes and gives you a quote before starting so you know the cost. Took a lot of care at getting the right matching door locks etc to enhance the look of the whole door. Very pleased with the final result.

Cheerful and friendly, James fixed the lock with no fuss, finding the problem, sourcing and getting the parts and fixing the issue. I called James to replace a faulty lock. He managed to do it all in one morning despite the lock turning out to be non-standard and out of stock in most places! He was relentless in finding a replacement and modifying the new lock so it would fit, and didn't charge me extra even after the job took him several hours to complete. Made a previous review as below but just updating. My house insurance is coming up for renewing so I got Jamie to advise and update my door locks to make sure all ok for insurance. Jamie has now fitted his recommended locks to all my exterior doors. Brilliant, now I have peace of mind all conform to regs and insurance requirements. He even fitted the latest twist lock system types so no interior keys needed...so good.. Once again a nice tidy swift job at very reasonable cost. Previously.. Our front door had been progressively getting worse over the winter. We called James and he turned up on time as arranged. He explained what the issue was and had the job done in no time. The door has been adjusted and serviced and is now really smooth . We would highly recommend Bournemouth Locksmith Service
