Prompt service and well organised on the day I wanted to service and update some parts on my boiler. Engineer was professional, clean and very polite. Hats off to AJS and would recommend them to anyone in the brightlingsea area. Very good service 5 star
Brilliant firm.....annual boiler service by Mark today who went above and beyond as I had emergency situation with washing machine. Customer service is great. 2nd October 2026 Since my review of last month I add: I cannot recommend AJS enough - a brilliant team, the customer service is above and beyond. My new bathroom has been fitted and all the guys have done a fantastic job. AJS have what lacks in many companies now, excellent customer relations. Thank you to you all.
highly recommend Mark for any boiler servicing and heating maintenance. He arrived exactly when scheduled, was incredibly professional, and conducted a thorough, meticulous service on my boiler. Mark took the time to explain what he was checking and ensured that the whole system was running safely and at peak efficiency before completing the job. What stood out most was his attention to cleanliness; he was highly respectful of our home and left the area completely spotless. It is rare to find a professional who combines authentic trade expertise with such outstanding customer service and fair execution. I will absolutely be booking Mark for all future annual services and wouldn't hesitate to recommend his top-tier work to friends and family!
Absolutely fantastic service! After contacting multiple companies, these guys responded instantly and I didn’t have to wait long at all for the work to be carried out. They took extra care to my property in terms of keeping the boiler site and room clean and were very polite and professional. Amazing service, highly recommend!

From start to finish very professional and reliable, Very easy to work with and Rob is a really nice guy too as is Jake who assisted. Overall very happy and already booked for another. AJS gas heating have been plumbers for me for at least six years probably longer. I can’t fault them. They’re prompt they’re considerate they are experts at what they do and have never let me down. I couldn’t recommend them more. Their prices are reasonable and they leave the place spotless when they’re finished.
Just had a new boiler installed and the lads that did the work were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very helpful with minimising disruption while doing the job. They are a great team. Very happy to highly recommend.
Tuesday morning I woke up to a cold house and checked the heating and saw that the pressure in the system was low and upped the pressure to the recommended level thinking I had cured the problem . However it failed to cure the problem so contacted AJS who came out early next morning and cured the problem in less than half an hour. As usual prompt and efficient Service from the engineer. Highly rec=mmend company, been using them for over 15 years.
Serious lack of knowledge of heat pumps and consequent misdiagnosis of an issue. They really should pull out of of this area of business.
Absolutely recommend AJS. They installed a Air source heat pump and complete plumbing for our new build. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. Always cleaned up and took away rubbish. The office ladies always helped with our inquiries. The whole job experience went well and would definitely use them again.
