Reviews
4.5
Ace Glass & Mirrors is valued for friendly, knowledgeable service, fair prices and quick turnaround, with customers praising glass cutting for picture frames, greenhouse panes, doors and bespoke mirrors. Reviews also highlight helpful advice, clear quotes and a wide choice of mirror styles, including special sizes and custom work. One older review raises a concern about an incorrectly sized window and the response to it, but this is not a recurring theme.
Good old fashion service. Prices are good too. Packed with different styles of mirrors and can do special sizes on request.
Alan advised me on the best type of glass to replace the door on my hifi cabinet, and gave me a range of quotes with clear details about the different levels of finish available.
Used for the first time today. Excellent fast service and very pleased with my picture frame glass order. Thank you.
Extremely helpful and understanding my requirements. Friendly staff. Recommend this place for all glass and mirror needs.
Great price and the service was excellent. Glass cut to size in 20 minutes
Wanted a custom glass job on a smashed mirror, ace were brilliant they were able to give us a fair price and lead time, and the workmanship was second to none, excellent finish, would use again
Great service. Decent priced
Good People. Honest prices. Great Service. Greenhouse glass, mirrors, glass cutting.
Absolutely appalling! They cut my window to the incorrect size and are adamant it is correct even though it literally does not fit? They are outright refusing to replace it and have taken absolutely no responsibility. DO NOT go to these people.
Quick service
Friendly quick service. After breaking pane . In my 1970s dome door .
Great service. Reasonably priced and ready quickly. Would use again
Used these guys a few years ago for a bespoke mirror. Worked a charm. Will be sure to go back.
Fantastic service. Provided replacement greenhouse glass, and recut to correct measurements after we measured incorrectly without additional charge.

When in to get a Quote for some glass and they left me stand they for about 15 min just to give one that was at lest dubble the markent price. Iv need this sort of behaviour from trade men be for if you dont want the job dont wast people time.
Does what it's days on the Tin, good guys who offer good service, recommended
I work as an artist and do my own framing. Ace is local to me, and the place I get my glass. They will either supply me with sheets that I cut down myself, or if I am short on time, they are happy to cut glass to sizes. I have given them piles of frames of all different dimensions that they have cut the glass perfectly for. I haven't used reflective or fancy types, so can't comment on whether they can supply these, but it's all been good for me. After around 5 years and a lot of glass from there, I have only had one that was marked, and that not so that most people would notice, so I have a lot of confidence in them. Whether or not is is a general thing, or because I live close, they have also been happy to deliver to me, which has been a blessing. I find it helpful that I can email, phone or go into the shop, and that they can give me quotes in advance, if I ask for them. If you are looking to fit out your house with glasswork or mirrors, the shop is worth a visit. I would say that it is very good value, and there are often bargains to be had. Great service- thank you!
Good friendly service and provided the bespoke mirrors I required. A pleasure to do business with. Thank you.
