Excellent experience with Colchester Glazing replacing two cracked glass sealed units. The quote was prompt, but the best part was the installation team, Roman and his colleague. They went above and beyond to accommodate my specific requests due to my OCD, doing so with a smile and great attitude. They are a true asset to the company. Thankful for their great work and highly recommend them!
This is the very best window & glazing company by far in Essex. They are reliable, professional & price is competitive if not the very best due to how busy they are but they always manage to fit you in. Don’t go anywhere else you want be disappointed.

Brilliant service, came out and measured up my my shops broken window quickly. Took less than an hour to remove and fit the new glass. Friendly and knowledgeable employees, cant fault, highly recommended and will use again if ever needed.
I turned up 10 minutes before closing on Friday, the guys could not have been more helpful. I returned Monday to order some specialist glass for an internal door I had needed for months. The team are very helpful and offer a great service, even for relatively small jobs like mine. Highly recommended.

I called on Sunday morning after my salon window had been smashed in The guys were there within the hour to make the property secure Super professional cleared up all the glass and fitted board up to make it all safe ready for the new glass on Tuesday Super quick service Can’t thank you all enough
Whole process from beginning to end was to a high standard Excellent people skills from both the person dealing with the enquiry and the worker fixing the window. Both were efficient and thoughtful. Replacing the window was completed quickly and proficently. Whole area left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this company.

Chaps came out to remove a first floor window in a new build to gain access for a sofa being bought in to the property where full access to the opening was required. Did a great job. Turned up nice and early. Used a cherry picker which was super. Window was out well before the sofa delivery. Couldn't tell that the window had come out at all after a little clean internally. Highly recommend

Wouldn't use anybody else now. Highly recommended. We were unsure if we needed 'emergency/weekend' help or 'standard/weekday' work and before we committed to either, Brian looked at the job and told us we could safely wait until Monday (thus saving us money). He then emailed us on the same day with a very reasonable quote and the work was completed within 2 working days. Very impressed
Having tried and failed to find a company that could replace our rotting metal cills in our main office entrance, I came across Colchester Glazing and Frames (CGC). After a brief exchange of emails CGC attended site, identified and quantified the issue, and provided a very competitive quote within 24 hours. Once the quote had been approved CGC set about the fabrication and painting of the replacement cills before returning to site to replace the old ones. CGC offered a complete and professional service and I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a glazing and frame repairer/installer.
Extremely prompt call-out for an emergency repair. Great service at a very reasonable price. Will be using them again for some non-urgent work in the New Year. Highly recommended.
Couldn't recommend these guys enough. Emergency callout to board up our window following a break in. They were very tidy and efficient. They cleared up the shattered glass debris, which I hadn't expected. Brian is coming back to replace the window pane. Very reasonably priced.

I ordered 17 pces of greenhouse plate glass, some cut to size. Colchester Glazing were quick to fulfil my order which i collected. When i discovered i had measured two peices incorrectly they happily recut it free of charge. Lovely people, good communication, and good value for money.

Replaced a rotten opening panel of a window. Good workmanship, done in the time promised, much cheaper than a complete new window and pleasant workment to have in the house.

Asked CGC to quote for replacing some glass internal door panels in our house. Received a call on the same day and Jack came round to measure up and quote a couple of days later. We weren’t sure of the type or pattern of glass that we needed and Jack and Adam in the office were very helpful and gave good advice. A very friendly and efficient company to deal with. Jack has just fitted the glass, it looks great and he cleared up after finishing the job. I would recommend.

Brian went above and beyond on what was a simple glass supply requirement for my renovation project . He ended up bringing the glass to me in person and supplying additional product for another window . Proactive, communicative and frankly couldn’t have been more accommodating if he’d tried. Accidental glass breakage on a Friday afternoon. This company said they'd be round within half an hour to remove debris and board up. Professional workers, clean and tidy and with good advice on the options for replacement. I would thoroughly recommend them and use them again.
Very impressed by this Company. Adam was hugely helpful and managed to pull a rabbit out the hat, delivery and instalation wise. Whilst the installers, Steve and Jack were very quick, professional and tidy.
Excellent service! Arrived at work on a Saturday morning to a smashed window. Called at 8:30 in the morning, spoke to Brian, said he would be there in 30/45 minutes and he was true to his word. The broken window was removed and boarded within the hour of him arriving. And the replacement bit of glass installed 3 days later. Absolute lifesaver! Thank you on behalf of Optical Revolution. In the summer of 2022 a large pane of glass in our home suddenly “popped” and left glass scattered outside on our patio floor. Not ideal with a young family. Luckily, Colchester Glazing came to the rescue and quickly made the area safe and organised a like-for-like replacement. The service was great, particularly the responsiveness, knowledge and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

I had to have the glass taken out of the frame to allow furniture to be put through. When the glass was put backs the gasket startersplit and they had to order a replacement Collin and Steve were very helpful. Colin managed to find the white faster required and returned to replace it. Though they had to lift the glass as it was not put back correctly but Collin and Steve rectified the issue and managed to fix the top of the window which did not close properly when put back. Awoken on Sunday morning with a call from a tenant, great start! Tenant advised that a balcony door had somehow come off its hinges and was now "not much good". Not the best news at 7am on a Sunday. Added to that, our full-time maintenance man had taken his annual holiday, typical! Knowing that my poor DIY skills would need assistance, I headed to google and started searching for emergency door/glazing companies near me. After a few messages left on various companies answering phones, I received a call back from Brian at Colchester Glazing. I quickly summarised the situation, at which point Brian said, "ok, see you down there in 30 minutes". Circa 90 minutes after our initial conversation, the problematic door had been stripped down and secured back into it's frame, weather proof once more! Agreed for Brian to come out early the following week to look a longterm repair solution. Can't fault the service or expertise. The Sunday morning call-out fee wasn't hideous either. No hesitation to call Colchester Glazing for future "problems", although I hope I don't have too. Thanks Brian!
Great service, engineers turned up on time, they replaced the broken hinges on the window within thirty minutes, friendly & helpful engineers, I would recommend this company to friends and family .
We were highly recommended this company from a friend, as we were struggling with other glazing companies who were quoting ridiculous money for a repair and/or just weren’t getting any response. Spoke to the owner of the company who went straight out to price the job and came back to us with a quote hours later which was a quarter of what we’d be quoted. The repair was done and sorted within a week and we were kept fully up to date the whole time. They were complete god sends and I can’t thank them or recommend them highly enough!!

Emailed them in early August asking for a quote. They responded with one, said the wait would be around 4 weeks and I said I wanted them to go ahead. It's now mid September and no word from them despite numerous chaser emails and voice messages. No excuse for this, if they're that busy they can afford to hire more office staff.

Been waiting for a new window for over 8 weeks - Can’t get a call back. Given up now and using another company - zero customer service - zero recommendation
Could not fault the guy who came out to do the work, he was top notch. However he is sadly let down by his MD Brian, who is totally rude, tried to go back on his word of taking a BACS payment (necessary for insurance company) and even tried to get his worker to remain in our home until cash was taken! At the time of his worker being there I asked repeatedly for bank details then he just laughed down the phone. Brian was so not bothered about receiving payment and was just trying to throw his weight around that he in fact would not send me his bank details to get paid until 2 days later. Would not hire this company for anything. Edit Reply - Please do avoid us Brian.
Poor service. Sub contracts the work and nobody showed up. Had to chase through different phone numbers to eventually get through to cancel.
Ordered two pieces of glass with bevelled edges. Good price, beautifully done nice people.
Complete jokers, avoid unless you want to take a day off work only for lame excuses why they didn't turn up.
